☎xxxxxxxxxxxCity • Since being in Metropolis, Avalbane has lived in Ronth. Her parents made their home in the slums and slowly moved up to a better part of the city. They are still no where near middle class or the rich, but it is home. Their house is a small shack almost, The three of them fit cozily inside. Though the outside is not the safest for children, it is the best they have for now.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxPersonality • xxxxQuiet - Her voice doesn't carry far and she is rather mousy when she speaks. Avalbane does not give her opinions often, nor does she feel she needs to. Her ideas are her own and no one seems to need them. She doesn't talk to other people until they speak to her first. Holding conversations makes her feel awkward and she never knows what to say. The good thing about all this is that this make her feel independent and not afraid to be on her own. She could go through life and never talk to another person and feel perfectly fine. Her life does not revolve around other people nor does she feel like it should. She enjoys being inside and doing something she enjoys other than trying to run around and party with friends or something. Staying away from others also prevents her from hurting anyone or causing pain to them. It also makes her thoughts more logical and not based on emotions.
xxxxClumsy - When Avalbane was born, she fell out of her baby bed in the hospital. This was the first sign of what was to come. When she was able to crawl, she found corners, holes, and anything else that could cause a child to get hurt. Her first scar actually appeared when she learned to walk. She ran straight into a corner on of a TV stand hurting her eye and messing it up for the rest of her life. She trips over bugs, carpet, sticks, and sometimes nothing. If an accident can happen, she will most likely be in the middle of it. Her feet and mind do not mix and she falls often. She has a problem with not paying attention to her surroundings around her and knocking things over or slapping them off and breaking it. This sometimes helps her miss certain things or not actually get hurt. So it isn't all a bad thing.
xxxxCreative - While spending most of her time alone, she usually takes that time to partake in some artistic activities. Her favorite things to do are paint and make crafts, but she also draws and sketches from time to time. Since he lets her creative streak free on a regular basis, Avalbane has a wide imagination and thinks outside the box in most cases. When it comes to needing a plan or a quick way to get out of things she is able to find the most creative and unusual way to do this. Sometimes her plans end up being over the top or ridiculous, but she cannot help that. It is what her mind comes up with. Other times she seems have a hard time separating her mind from her fiction made up world back to reality. This does not appear as much of a problem because she knows how to hide it well and does not talk to others much anyway. Her own artistic talents please her and she is rather good for a 13 year old. If she wasn't going to be a superhero, she would become a painter and sell art.
xxxxCaring - Ever since she was little she always took great interest in the safety and security of others. Sometimes she would go out of her way to make sure that what she did would not affect someone in a negative way. This was especially true when it came to animals. No matter what, Avalbane would always do what she could to take care of and supply animals with thier needs, no matter what they were. Humans are a little harder to do that with, but she is very careful not to hurt anyone. Physically or Emotionally. Causing some pain to someone would burn into her mind and haunt her for a very long time. This however, is not true for villains. These people have done something and hurt others to cause these actions being taken. Though she does try not to hurt the villains too much, she still does what she must.
xxxxInsecure - This has nothing to do with her looks. Avalbane is thin and normal looking and has nothing to be ashamed of. Even all her scarring and messed up eye has no affect on how she feels about her looks. What she is insecure about is her intelligence and powers. She was never taught to read and never went to any school until now. Her writing and reading abilities are very choppy and she has no understanding of large words. She can talk normally, but does stutter at times. Her vocabulary is that of a 1st grader and so is her understanding of most of the world. She doesn't seem to be "in the loop" of the world around her and is pretty oblivious to on goings unless personally told. She also is insecure about her abilities since she does not understand how to use them. She has always been afraid of hurting others and doesn't want to cause pain. The sound of someone screaming would send her over the edge and into a frenzy and crying.
On Ennis, Avalbane would spend her time outside trying to find animals and playing with the snow and ice in the area. Ever since she knew of her powers she liked to play with them, until the day she froze that little boy. Other than that, she would be inside painting and drawing on the walls with crayon; this of course she soon learned was bad and stopped. Since her arrival in Metropolis, she has become fluent in talking in two different languages: Her native tongue of Ennis, which speaks Celtic, and English. The English part has been harder, but she spends her other free time trying to learn to spell. She loves to eat as well. Anything really, you put the food in front of her and she will eat it. Unless it is spicy/hot. Things like that really burn her sensitive tongue and she cannot stand it.
xxxxHelpless Romantic - Although Avalbane is young, she already sees the world as a place for love to prosper. She has seen enough Disney movies to know about Prince Charming and a happy life. Sometimes she daydreams about the day her Prince Charming will appear and sweep her off her feet. She has developed slightly unrealistic views on life and love. With this, she develops crushes for people easily and falls for them quickly. She does not believe in puppy love and calls it true love or destiny, whichever she thinks of first.

☎xxxxxxxxxxxBody Structure • She is kind of short, ranging at 5 foot 3 inches. Her body looks about average for someone in that height range. Her breasts are small and subtle, especially since she is 13, they have not really grown in. Her hips on the other hand are wider than most average girls. Her legs are really thin and bony as well has her arms. Her face is round with a small little chin. Avalbane's cheek bones are high up and not very visible on the sides. She has a smaller nose that is slightly round and pointed downward and her ears are average looking. One of her eyes is larger than the other since the accident. Her right eye has something wrong with it and causes it to be closed more and smaller than the other one. Her left ear has a chunk taken out of the top of it.

She wears three different shades of black around her eyes. A dark color on the top of her eyelids, a lighter gray color around the bottom of them that meets the dark color and a medium gray in the middle that goes around and on the other two colors. Her eyes are a pinkish peach color and they glow. Her eyes are also sensitive to the light, which is why the glow. Ennian's eyes are like this and they usually cover their eyes with bangs to prevent the sun from hurting them.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxHair • The sides of Avalbane's hair is shaved off and really close to her head. he front of her hair is poofed up and pulled back. Her hair then goes back into a high ponytail. From there it reaches down to her ankles and is slightly wavy. Her hair color is a dull medium brown with a red pink streak that goes all the way through it.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxSkin • Like most Ennian, her skin is extremely pale, almost white. But hers has a slight pink color to it. All across her skin are multiple scars, covering most of the area. There are large ones on her face and one right under her right eye. It is traditional on Ennis for all females to sport a hoop nose ring, and she has one. The females usually get this around the age of six and keep it throughout life. Her right leg is missing completely and has been replaced by a metal prosthetic. She is still getting used to the leg sometimes. Customary to her alien race, she also has six dots on the outside of her eyes that goes around with them. Each dot is a different color of the rainbow. This is not make up nor a tattoo, it is her actual skin.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxClothing • Her average clothing involves things she would have word back on Ennis. Normally they wear a bodysuit to hold heat in, but since she is on Metropolis, there is no need for it. She wears no shoes, ever, since her frost would destroy it. She wears small black shorts with a large white belt on top. Her dim gray and dingy medium blue stripped shirt is tucked slightly into her shirt and is loose on the body. It is a tank top. On top she wears a white and black plaid short jacket. The jacket only reaches down under her breasts and sits on her rib cage. The end of it is a black ribbed stretchy material. Her wrists have the same material on them. The hood of the jacket is fur lined. Other than those things, she doesn't wear anything else.

☎xxxxxxxxxxxHome Planet • Alvalbane comes from the Planet Terra, which happens to be about the same size of Earth. Upon this planet there are three main continents that make up the several different countries. She comes from a small country about the size of New Jersey called Ennis. The conditions on the country are very harsh, with temperatures never reaching above 0 degrees. Barely any life survives on the island and those that do tend to fight over everything. The inhabitants of Ennis look just like normal humans, the only difference is their powers with the cold, very pale skin, and glowing eyes. The country itself is ruled by a Pharaoh who is divinely guided. Their society does not welcome outsiders, nor does it like for its people to easily leave.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxBackground • Avalbane was born on the planet Terra on an island called Ennis, which in Celtic actually means island. The frigid conditions keep the population down. The place itself is very flat and the temperatures range from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to below -40 degrees Fahrenheit. The natives to Ennis are almost all born with some ability that involves the cold or ice, but not all. Some are born without these abilities and that makes life there extremely hard on them. Most do not survive. Avalbane's father was one of these people. Luckily he knew how to keep warm and did not go out much. Her mother has a small ability that involves absorbing cold particles in the air and warming up the atmosphere around her. Avalbane's own abilities did not show till she was 1 year old. At that point her parents started noticing how cold she always felt and the frost that was left all over the house. Her powers did not seem a problem up until she was 5. At that point her and one of the boys a little older than her go into it about a ball they were playing with. He ended up calling her flashlight eyes and her emotions got the best of her. No one is really sure how it happened, but she managed to freeze the boy solid. Incidents like these were not often because more parents could help their children control their powers, but Avalbane's could not. The event itself scarred her for life and prevents her from wanting to be near other people. Her parents showed no remorse for what happened and told everyone the little bugger deserved it. This of course angered almost everyone on Ennis and sent the family packing. It would be no easy task for them to leave though. It was almost like the underground Railroad. At night the family snuck out of the house and to a spacecraft created in dire emergencies. With their lives on the line, they left and made their way to Metropolis, not on purpose. The spacecraft crash landed in the water. Quickly making their way from the craft and to the land, they swam a long time before reaching the new place they would call home. At this point they had no money, IDs, or home. It was time to make a new life, but for Avalbane's family, i would be easy. Her father was the one to get a job and leave his wife and Avalbane alone in the slums. They lived on the streets for a little while, but this was no big deal. To Avalbane it become an adventure. She did not have to be home at a certain time and ran around by herself. Soon her father made enough to move them into a slummy apartment, which let her mother also get a job. Though she was only almost 7, it was normal back on Ennis. Things continued this way, Avalbane being alone and her parents working to provide for them and create a new life on Metropolis. She had many accidents at this time, leaving scars all over her body and face but none were as bad as what was about to happen. One day while her parents were both at work, she was at home in the apartment when things started to shake. She wasn't sure what was going on, but all of a sudden she woke up in the hospital. They had informed her that the building she was in collapsed and she was the only one not to make it out. Somehow she survived, but at a great price. Her right leg was gone, all the way up to her hip almost. It had been replaced by a metal prosthetic. She spent about a year and a half in the hospital and re-cooperating, as well as going through therapy. After she go out, they moved into a better apartment, one she would call home for the rest of her time here. At the age of 10 things started to get worse for her powers. They were becoming slightly stronger and more noticeable, but she had no idea how to control them. Her English was terrible and she did what she could to hide them. Most the time she just never went outside. Her frost steps started messing up the wood and her parents didn't know what to do. On Ennis, birthdays were not remembered or acknowledged, but here was different. Though her real age isn't for certain, it is a close estimate and at 13, they decided it was time to do something about her inability to control her powers. They sent her to superhero school.

Avalbane's body temperature is always low and her body is cold to the touch. The temperature around her is always freezing, but it does not extend more than five feet out. The temperature around her is not uncomfortably cold unless the palms of her hands or feet are sitting right next to your bare skin. Otherwise, all that would really be needed is a jacket to keep comfortable. If she concentrates hard she can lower the temperatures of other items, but they have to be smaller than a person. Her hands and feet release most of the cold from her body to regulate its temperature and because of this frost forms on the bottom of her feet. If she leaves her hand on something too long, it can freeze it slowly. Human skin would be affected by frost bite. This of course would take about an hour to do. If the weather is wet enough, she can also lower the moisture in the air until it freezes. The humidity has to be around 70% or more for her to actually do this.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxPower Orgins • She was born with them. Most members of Ennis have some form of powers that corresponds with the cold.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxMotive to Enter Academy • Since her move to Metropolis, which she was to young to remember, her powers have always scared her and others around her. Eventhough one of her parents has something similar to Cryokinesis, it isn't as extensive and just involves absorbing particles to make the area hotter. Her father on the other hand was born without any. Since this, her parents have not been much help on teaching her how to control her powers. At one point she accidentally froze a boy solid because he called her flashlight eyes. Since this incident, Avalbane has been to afraid to physically get close to people. Her parents felt it was best to send her somewhere she could learn to control her powers and feel normal.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxStrengths • She can lower the temperatures in a room and make her opponents rather cold. If the humidity is correct, she can freeze some moisture to ice. Her body temperatures normally no higher than 20 degrees Fahrenheit and this give her a cold immunity, to weather and other powers. She is very sturdy and can take a hit. She has been through some accidents in her life so things like that do not scare her anymore. Use to be alone and doesn't mind not having social interactions.
☎xxxxxxxxxxxWeaknesses • It takes a lot of concentration to generate ice from the water sources around and sometimes your emotions can mess things up. Since her body is naturally cold, her feet actually have frost developing on it all the time. Everywhere she steps some frost is made and left on the ground. She quit wearing shoes because they kept getting destroyed by this. Also this frost makes a lovely trail for people to follow to find her. Her hands are extremely cold to the touch as well. She can't freeze someone with a touch, but she can kill their skin if contact is made with her body long enough. This causes problems when you want to be friends or get close to someone. Small items can be frozen if she leaves her hands on them long enough as well. Which makes holding things rather an adventure on its own. Since she is use to being in the cold and her temperatures are so low the heat takes a heavy toll on her. She can't be out in temperature higher than 85. Once the temperature gets over that she has a very high chance of heat stroke. It starts out with her sweating and panting a lot. As more time goes on she starts to lose consciousness without realizing it and slowly ends up passing out. If kept in the sun she would be sun poisoned and have a heat stroke, this could even lead to death if not taken care of. Avalbane has to keep a nice supply of water on her to keep herself hydrated and her temperature regulated. Most the time she just stays inside to prevent the heat from harming her body. Avalbane is also very clumsy. Not just she falls over things, but she is accident prone. All throughout her life she has been in several accidents and caused many herself. She breaks things, falls over things, slips on things, hurts herself on accident and more. She is the reason Murphy made his law. She has a hard time interacting with people as well. Social awkwardness and all.
