U P D A T E S....A N D....A N N O U N C E M E N T S U p d a t e s.• 05.06.2012 -- Starting to wiggle back into the shop, though it's kind of at a stand-still. I miss my mokai man. D;
• 12.11.2011 -- My gram popped and I got Esmée! ^__^ Got her journal page up and stuff too~ :3
• 12.07.2011 -- Busy week is coming up. I'll be really scarce until I land in Cali next Tuesday. :[
• 12.01.2011 -- Revamping Jamie just a bit; it's actually more like a timeskip to the future him. Still a wip, but I'm hoping to get it done soon-ish.
• 12.01.2011 -- Finished up that old SRP with Jamie and his dad, finally. lol
• 11.18.2011 -- Made a few changes to the coding and directory page set-up. Not done yet though, but will be soon. Finished~
• 11.16.2011 -- My Christmas gram opened!! ^o^ <33 I named him Rook~
• 11.16.2011 -- Got most of Rook's info up. I'll fill it out when I have time; I still need to sort out his history and owner info.
• 11.16.2011 -- Also started working on Rook's new owner. All but his history is up~ x3
• 11.15.2011 -- Added a to-do list so I can keep track of things better. :]

Edits: Extra fluff (minimal), floppy ears (like in the ref), maybe 1 other CC trait, a red leather collar (very worn down and kind of loose on her), and a sad, almost angry, expression.

Edits: Extra fluff (moderate), a lion's mane/tail (maybe..), and claws. He should have a sort of confident, almost arrogant smirk. The gold markings are just painted on, of course. I'd like for the face and tail markings to be exact, but the other markings don't have to be. In terms of items he would probably only have a chain-link collar.

Appearance: He stands at about 5'11" and has straight dirty-blond hair, icy blue eyes, and medium tan skin. He usually keeps his hair, which reaches to about his shoulders, tied back into a short ponytail. He's lean and with decently toned muscles; he's got an average, medium frame. He also has a goatee which he usually keeps nice and short.
Talents/Skills: He's a fast learner and can do a variety of jobs acceptably well - otherwise known as a "jack of all trades."
Hobbies: Whittling is one of his favorite past-times. He got it from his father, of course. Swimming is also something he loves to do, though he doesn't get to do it nearly as often as he'd like considering he has no official day off.
Personality: Hardworking, friendly, family-oriented, indecisive, slightly impatient. He really values honesty too; like almost everyone else though, he slips up pretty often in that department. He also enjoys relaxing when he can, and he likes being in the company of people who know how to have fun. He really has no talent when it comes to telling jokes, but he does love to laugh and have a good time.
History: He grew up in a lower-middle class family as an only child. His father was a carpenter while his mother was a homemaker. In terms of income they made enough to live comfortably, though not in luxury. His parents did send him to school, though only when business was good and they had enough money for it. If not, he would spend his time either helping his mom around the house or manning the counter at his father's shop. Starting from his early teens, if he wasn't in school he worked odd jobs around the settlement for his own spending money. His parents stopped worrying about sending him to school when he was in his mid-teens.
He proved himself a hard-worker to those in the settlement and started getting more offers for jobs. He was a fast learner, but the variety of jobs he was given kept him from mastering any one skill. This didn't bother him too much, though his father did reprimand him about it every now and again about it, wanting his son to look after the family business after he was gone. They've had more than a few arguments about this, but in the end his mother convinced his father to let him make his own decisions.
Upon turning eighteen he moved out of the home he grew up in to a small flat just nearby, a sort of "bachelor pad" if you will. He bought it with the money he had managed to save up over the years, plus a little help from his parents. He actually helped his father make all the repairs and wooden furnishings for his new home, as it was barely more than a box (that was nearly falling apart) when he bought it. He's since filled it with a decent amount of furniture, and he considers it more or less a nice space to live in.
In terms of an actual, stable job, he doesn't have one. Lucky for him though, he has enough of a reputation around the settlement, so he goes around doing odd jobs for people for a decent amount of pay (though significantly cheaper than a professional's fee) to keep him afloat. Sometimes he's a plumber, sometimes a carpenter, other times a mechanic, other times a fisherman, and still other times a temporary deckhand. Whatever the job, he's willing to take it on.
Mokai: He's encountered them, of course, though he's never owned one of his own. He likes going to see the fights, but he hardly ever places any bets (especially since he doesn't have all that much to begin with, and he has terrible luck). If he were to ever own one it would definitely be a Pearl Diver; not only would it mean a more stable income, but it would also allow him to go for a swim a lot more often.
