What potions are:
Scientists on Isle Akoya have discovered that they can harness some of the magical compounds washed down from the Raupatu mountains. There are seven magical 'elements' discovered thus far; when certain ones are combined and injected into the Mokai, different new attributes can sprout on the individual, such as new horns or tails. This can be a somewhat painful process as the new appendage grows.
Ferals/wilds can also use potions! They have a much more primitive way of injecting the potion, using cactus needles dipped in a mix of the elements. Unfortunately, this process is even more painful than the single injection that domestics go through, and must be done by an expert potionsmaster (a feral or wild who has skill with potions).
Potions may act slightly differently on different Mokai - scientists aren't yet certain why. Colors and shapes may be different between individuals. It's all a toss-up as to what exactly you get. Keep in mind that while some potions are straightforward in what you're getting - such as lynx ears - some are not, such as dragon horns, which may be any unnatural horn shape not regularly found in nature, or goat horns, which may come from any species of wild or domestic goat. If you have a question about a particular potion, just ask!
You can now custom potions, but it costs x3 of the 'basic' price here to do so. For instance, if you wanted to custom a certain style of floppy ears, it would be $100 x 3 = $300. If you just want a random potion - in other words, I choose what it looks like - simply do not indicate any specifics with your order. If you indicate any specifics (color, that you want a particular style, etc.) I will charge you accordingly for a custom potion. However, when you customize a Mokai in the Customs thread, you do NOT have to pay the x3 price, you only pay the basic price.
Keep in mind that some of these traits are 'standard' on a particular subspecies of Mokai, and they may change your Mokai only slightly, or not at all. For example, many (but not all) fighter Mokai are typically born with more rounded feline-esque ears, so adding Feline Ears to them might not make too much of a difference. You might get a slightly different shape, however.
A [D] after the trait means that the trait is dominant, an [R] means that the trait is recessive. Please review the Breeding Stalls for more information.
There are constantly new potions being discovered! Sometimes certain potions will run out, and a waiting period may persist before anyone can purchase another one. (If you have a suggestion for a new potion, please post in the Questions and suggestions thread.)
Please only post once per week in this shop. If you are planning on posting in any of the other shops, please try to post in them around the same time, so I can tweak your Mokai all at once. Thanks!
How to use a potion:
Fill out the form below, and post it here! The money will be automatically deducted from your account. The change may take a week or two. When finished, the altered form of your Mokai will appear in the first post of your stall. If you are using a potion ticket as payment, please note this. If you want to get your ticket redeemed for cash, instead of a potion, fill out the form, and in that last line, just say 'redeeming for cash,' and the cash will be added to your Mokai's stall.
