❦ Temple Ruins ❦
Located on the outskirts of the village, the Temple Ruins are all that remains of the original Prayer Temple. Destroyed during the outbreak of the first ten-tail beast, the ruins now remain as a place of rememberence. Few know the existance of these ruins and even then even fewer people enter the grounds with the intensions of battle. Having been the original grounds for a temple, no traps can be found, only natural earth and stone. A small pond is located past the far archway and small bushes cover the insides while various trees decorate the outside of the temple walls.

Hien (Swallow in Flight) – Primary Style
A style of fencing associated closely with the Tsubame family, this style of fencing is based off a swallow in flight, as represented by its name Hien, which can be translated to 'Swallow in Flight'. Like a swallow heading out on it's first flight, the first stage contains moves that are simple and require less skill and movement but as one progresses, one achieves a higher level of agility, endurance, grace and skill like that of an experienced flying swallow. Base on the theory that when flying, the weather can be unpredictable, the techniques within this style also varies depending on the need of the user and range from being really fluentent and swift or just plain simple yet tricky. Hien's swallow style of fencing brings chakra control and swordmanship to it's highest level, to where the user's rapier becomes a tool of extension for their own chakra. Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage|| Support/Combo || Katon || Doton || Hiton ||Stepping past the fallen archway and into what used to be the ancient temple grounds of Konoha, a cloak figure silently made her way through the mud and rain towards the center. Its been years since she stepped foot onto the temple grounds, the last time she came here was during her years in the hidden operatives. It was also her last mission as an ANBU. Glancing skyward, the figure beneath the cloak gave a corse chuckle as she basked in the falling rain. 'It was raining that night too...' Returning her gaze downward just as a streak of lightening danced across the sky, the young lady beneath the cloak shook her head in disbelief at the resemblence of that day. 'She was so young too...to think my hands would have been stained by her blood...if only...' Releasing a sigh, the cloak figure turned her gaze towards the back of the temple wall and spotted the small pond through the wide stone arch. 'To think that I might have to draw the blood of another close to me...' Staring into the pond, Itsuki allowed her thoughts to wonder ever so slightly while she patiently waited for her opponent...

HINIKO HYUUGA Hiniko was making her way slowly to the ruins. She had only been here once maybe twice. Now that she was returning she wondered if it would be the same. She paused to look up at the rain and knew that Itsuki was already there. Waiting for her. Hiniko never thought that it would come to this. But know that she finally had her goal in mind she felt she need to do this or at least try. She was ready to see the rain red with blood. Hers..or Itsuki's. Hiniko slowly made her way into the ruin area and looked directly at Isuki. She had her eyes with little or no emotion. Their almost silver ish blue color piercing.

'Hiniko...' Over the course of a year, Hiniko has been studying under Itsuki on the ways of the assassin and her skills were obvious as she easily by passed the Chuunin exams and proved herself worthy of Jounin. 'Still can believe it has come to this...' When Hiniko finally stopped, Itsuki felt her gaze and lifting her head up more, began to speak solemly. "So you came...what blank eyes you have now..." Extending her arms from the folds of her cloak, Itsuki slowly brought them to her hood and gripped its side. "This is your final warning Hiniko...Yield now and you'll get away with a minor probation." Knuckles paled as her grip on her hood tightened, "Don't make me draw my blade against one of my own..." Itsuki's voice was soft and serious. If possible, she wished that this day would have never came. She saw the signs but she choose to ignore them...'And this is were my lack of judgment brought me...I thought I could change them...'

t HINIKO HYUUGA Hiniko's mind flashed with memories of all of her training. She had always been an exceptional student, and had been flawless in her learning. For a year she had trained as an assassin. She was about to put that to use. She stood silent listening to Itsuki as she tried to tell Hiniko to stop now. Hiniko shook her head. "No. I regret doing this to someone so dear to me. So..helpful to me. But my mind was poisoned the day my parents died. I want no help...I want what I came here for." Based on what she had said there seemed like little sanity was left in Hiniko. She wondered if Itsuki knew why she was doing this. Her hand rested by her sides still no movement being made.

"If this is the path you choose to walk than so be it..." Pulling down her hood, Itsuki reveal her dry short raven locks, her right eye covered with her black eyepatch and a face deprived of emotions. As she stared straight at Hiniko, Itsuki's left eye reveal nothing of the distrot she truely felt inside. "...I'll stick you down, here, and now....in the name of Konohagakure." Extending out her left hand, Itsuki used the action to brush aside her cloak to reveal her usual shinobi attire, though this time a rapier was clearly added to her side. The rapier was Itsuki's personnal rapier, the one she inherited through her family and Itsuki was never one to stain it with blood...unless it was neccessary...'To have made me bring out Kokushibyo...you've come far Hiniko and if only your goals did not clash with those of our village...you would have made it far....'
Resting her left hand on the hilt of her blade, Itsuki raised her right hand to brush aside her now clinging wet hair from her eyepatch. "...your move Hiniko, show me the strength on your determination." Though she said that, Itsuki was already molding the chakra within her lungs for a surprise attack. Due to her natural talent in support, Itsuki had mastered the art of using ninjutsu without the need of handsigns the exclamation of names. As sneaky as this was, this was a battle for blood and Itsuki will not hold back for anything. Today, she will once more taint this sacred ground, either with her own blood or those of her student's....

"Tell me sensei, did you see this coming?" she began to make very slowly steps towards her. "Did you see the wheels poisoning my mind for the last year?" she asked stopping still a good ways away from her. "Why do you think I'm here exactly?" she mused taking out a kunai and playing around with it. Her voice wasn't like that of the usual Hiniko. it was an almost sadistic happy voice. as if she had lost herself and had gone mad in the process. Yet it still had a hint of sanity in it as if she knew exactly what was going on.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage|| Support/Combo || Katon || Doton || Hiton ||Itsuki's eyes remained blank and unchanging as Hiniko slowly made her way towards her. Though her outward appearance was calm, Itsuki was inwardly questioning her former student's motives. 'Just what is that girl planning?' Eyes narrowing into a deathly gaze as Hiniko began her chain of mental attacks, Itsuki could feel her internal emotions running wild but made no move to outwardly express any of those things. Of course she had seen this coming. It was the most common of all routes to rebellion. The signs were there, when she was first offered the apple but had yet to take notice. When the snake of darkness began to tempt her into taking it. Itsuki saw it all and though she tried to convience Hiniko otherwise, she had a feeling that eventually her student would fall pray to the temptation. She did. With the seeds sown, it was only a matter of time before they flowered. 'And here we are today, the seeds of corruption blossomed to the point where she had lost herself in its many vines and me, unable to act as the gardener...'
Taking deep breaths through her nose, Itsuki kept her usual calm as she held onto the control of her molding chakra. 'I know better than to let her words affect me but yet they still do...have to be careful though, an unstable mind is what leads to self destruction...' Gaze still on Hiniko, Itsuki could almost see the maddness clouding her eyes and yet, within them, they still held a trace of the original Hiniko. Releasing a sigh, Itsuki spoke in a serious, almost monotone voice. "You've changed...eaten the tainted apple and let it consume your soul. I still see traces of the past hidden within that murky fog of poison but it would appear as if you wish to keep it tucked away..." Slipping down one of her sealed kunai, Itsuki fingered the tip with her right hand as she kept it partically hidden within the folds of her kimono sleeves. "You're here to cut all ties are you not? As of now, I am the only one standing in your way. Finish me off and you bring Konoha to chaos. Its within that chaos that you'll find your revenge...but that's not all is there?"

Silencematters HINIKO HYUUGA Hiniko watched every move that her former teacher made. Hiniko thought she knew her well but she was not going to place that assumption on anything. Look at her, she had changed and yet she had once been such a better person. She continued to play with the kunai in her hand spinning it and then catching it by the blade although she never cut herself. She hadn't seen her move but if she knew Itsuki, she knew that she had something ready as soon as Hiniko had stepped forward. This was indeed going to be an interesting fight. I wonder if your as fearless as you look Hiniko thought to herself noticing the lack of emotion on the womans face. She laughed at her response to the question. "I have no ties with Konoha anymore. I am not here to put them in chaos although it would please me greatly to see it."she paused smiling and gazing at the blade on her kunai. "I am here to kill you Itsuki San, simply because after I defeat my last tie to what I want. NOONE will stop me. I WILL get what I want. Revenge or otherwise." she mused. Somewhere in the back of her mind she questioned herself. Had she really lost it? Had she really been drawn in so much by the darkness that she was going to kill Itsuki. Was this really her? But like a snake the thought was gone. Shattered by the darker thoughts in her head that told her she needed to do this in order to survive. She was willing to die to have the success of this battle. She wanted to see the chaotic results of this fight. Her former teacher or not. She continued to smile.

It was apparent to Itsuki that Hiniko was close to losing it. How desperate and willing she was to fall in her attempts for chaos and self pleasure...'You've changed...with dark thoughts being your only thoughts...it'll taint your entire being...' "Killing me will get you no where Hiniko, there will be others who will take my place and come after you. You know as well as I do were my strengths lie. There will be more stronger and craftier shinobi capable to bring you down..." Fulling slipping out her kunai, Itsuki held it by the handle and fingering it, Itsuki felt the effects of her seal connecting her entire being with the blade. 'An extension of myself...'
Releasing a sigh, Itsuki could hear the thunder and lightening crackle in the background but to her, it was all mere background noises..."But its apparent your resolve is settled. Dark or not, it still pleases me to see you willing to die for your cause...your eyes says it all. As much as it reassures me that someone will finish you off if I were to fail...I rather finish you off with my own hands, the others will not get the pleasure..." With that, Itsuki flashed Hiniko one last true affectionate smile before she returned her face to its stony, unemotional, face. "Let's end this." Without another word, Itsuki whipped her kunai straight towards where Hiniko's heart would be. The kunai would appear to be flying much faster than Itsuki's average throwing speed. That's because it had her personal seal on it. Only a few know about Itsuki's tie to the Pinpoint clan and Hiniko would be one of those few. 'She'll realize soon enough...'
Following through, Itsuki used the already molded chakra within her and altered it into fire. Taking in a deep breath, Itsuki breathed out a large portion of flame. The intensity of the flame would be high and looking at it, it would appear to much denser and that is because it contains a higher explosive nature.
