The slaves have their own small cupboard-like room where most of the "furniture" consists of various clean but obviously scavenged objects. They sleep on shallow shelves built into the walls so the beds take up no floor space. There is access to water at all times (as long as the slave in charge of fetching water that day does his or her job) and they are fed the standard slave food. That is unless Haqikah is feeling generous and gives them slave biscuits or other treats, or she is broker than usual and there is no food for a day or two... There is a small hole in the wall that is their window, and a small slave could probably squeeze through if they really wanted to. However, it's narrow and high up on the wall so it would take both effort and some acrobatics to do so. The door is rarely locked, but there's a simple wooden lock that can only be used from outside.
The slaves are expected to spend most of their time doing their chores around the house, but as long as nothing is neglected and no one slacks off in front of Haqikah (or even worse - in front of another hound) she doesn't care how they spend their days. All slaves are sent on errands relating to their tasks in Babylon from time to time, and her servants might be asked to accompany her when she's out and about.
She's likely to forget (or rather - not bother to remember) her slaves names unless she really starts to like them. They might be called "black one", "stripy", "slave" or whatever she comes up with at the moment.
The slaves sent out to get something for her might be sent out with just enough stones to get by, not quite enough stones or... no stones at all. They're still expected to solve the problem and Haqikah doesn't care if they beg, borrow or steal... as long as what they do doesn't reflect badly on her in the end.

Haqikah spends a lot of time thinking about how others perceive her, and what other hounds might think. She is certainly not the wealthiest hound around, and she's got no remarkable skills, but she is determined to hide this fact and tries to make sure she is seen as a lady of some importance. She'd rather be dead than poor, and she desperately tries to keep appearances up, even if it means spending too many stones.
She lies about little things, and takes pride in getting away with it. If she is called out she will do everything in her power to deny or smooth it over. Haqikah is honest, not a liar, and she might quite possibly cause a scene defending her honour.
Haquikah can be cruel or kind to her slaves, depending on what serves her own interests best, but she ultimately sees them as tools to be used. She will not hesitate to frame a slave for her own faults, and in the past she's had more than a few slaves that were sold or even killed to hide embarrassing things about herself. Haqikah lovingly cultivates the story that she's just a misfortunate young lady of noble birth who has hit some rough times. She hints that she has moved to Babylon to get back on her feet but is very tight lipped about the nature of her "rough times". Some might have heard that her parents fell ill and left her with very little when they died. Others can tell you about an unfortunate accident (or possibly illness) that befell her former mate.
