Physical Description:
1st Look: A Shinigami who appears to be in the midst of his teenage years, Nicholas is quite frustrated at the fact that he has long past his growth spurt, and now stands at a rather medium height. Nicholas' messy brown hair has been grown out, and tied back in an equally messy ponytail, which he keeps stuffed underneath a brimmed hat. His robes are generally kept in a poor condition, giving off an air of laziness, although on closer inspection, his robes are usually in such poor condition due to being splattered with someone's blood (either his own and something elses) or burned out due to reiatsu overuse. His shabby exterior is furthered reinforced by his almost permanent stubble, creating a "5 o'clock" look. Nicholas goes to extreme lengths to keep up his lazy exterior, trimming his beard to the exact "shabby" length and never ironing his robes, contrasting to his cover. Yes, he actually exerts effort to appear lazy. What the ********.
Nicholas usual set up is his longsword of a zanpaktou strapped against his back with no sheath, a short sword strapped down at his waist on the right side, his lighter in his top pocket and his flask in his inner pocket on the left side. A small plastic skull, hung on a piece of string hangs around Nicholas' neck, while an awesome V for Vendetta style hat sits atop his head, casting shadows on his childish light brown eyes.
2nd Look (Casual): Upon gaining his Vice-Captain role, Nicholas decided a make over was long overdue. Gone is the beard and long ponytail, leaving a smart businessman like cut, complete with a black suit, white shirt, silken tie and watch combination. Nick occasionally wears his VC band around his right bicep, but usually it stays off, so as to not throw off his "awesome" look.
2nd Look (Battle): A chest plate, greaves and gauntlets are worn underneath his Shinigami robes. Several daggers are strapped down to his chest, while his short sword is worn at his belt. Strapped to his back through the use of a chain is his zanpaktou, finally complete with an ornamental sheath which he uses occasionally to duel wield.
Zanpaktou Name:Wu Ming
Spirit Description: A formless spirit of wind, Wu Ming uses the forms of others in order to connect with the living world, his powers stemming from his bizarre ability to remember everyone's face down to the last exact detail and the what not. Wu Ming has a rather dry, sarcastic sense of humour, serving as the straight man in the 2 Man Comedy Act that is Nicholas D. Tenukage, contrasting to Nicholas' own bizarre acts of randomness.
Wu Ming is a Desert Wind Spirit, hence why most attacks circulate around super heated wind. His penchant for form changing lead to the creation of "mirages", as he is fond of playing such tricks on people's minds.
Wu Ming is in fact the remnants of Falconer, following the spirits destruction during the war. Retaining the personality and nature of Falconer, Wu Ming is now piecing together the memories of Falconer. The knowledge of Wu Ming and Falconer's connection remains oblivious to Nicholas however.
Normal: The standard zanpaktou blade has been modified by Nicholas' initial lack of control, forming instead of a katana, a kind of bizarre and elongated longsword, that is made from a strange blue glass-like substance, creating the air of a fragile blade, which is in fact just as strong as a standard zanpaktou. One positive of this zanpaktou is its non-metal substance, meaning its not conductible by electricity.

Other Unofficial phrases include the highly popular "BRING IT MOTHER ********", "I am the bone of my sword", "Wu Ming?", "Rock and Roll", "Search and Destroy" or "THIS IS SEIRETEI"
What that Does (Shikai): The elongated blue longsword shifts into a more refined and beautiful golden blade, that is far more proportional and simpler to wield. The blade hints to no real obvious powers, hidden within its simplicity are two skills.
i) Wu Ming, Invisible Sword of the Forgotten King: Winds gather and form a shroud around the golden blade, creating the illusion of invisibility. This skill gives Nicholas the (brief) element of surprise over his opponents, allowing him precious seconds to make an attack. However, experienced fighters will be able to tell quickly from Nicholas hands and their own common sense, the strength, direction and speed of Nicholas' sword strike. Nevertheless, the attack has some practicality, allowing Nicholas to be more free and unpredictable.
ii) Wu Ming, Kaze Nenshou (The Burning Winds): Used in conjunction with the Invisible Sword, the shroud of wind is released and superheated by Nicholas' reiatsu, increasing its temperature exponentially. The heated wind is then directed by Nicholas, tearing through the atmosphere and evaporating the water within, creating the sense of dehydration as the humility drops and the air around the fighters increases. Upon landing, be it on the target or something else entirely, the superheated air and water condenses, forging the illusion of being burned alive as the boiling water reforms. Nevertheless, the attack works quite well even without water, as the superheated air itself is more than enough to damage one's opponent.
Due to the ease of air manipulation and Nicholas' control over this attack, the attack is often toyed around with during battle and changed into different forms to suit different situations, for example when defending, Nicholas can twist the wind so that it circles his body, forming a super heated wall of air as a shield etc.

What this Does (Bankai): Raising his sword high, in an almost ritualistic manner, Nicholas presents an offering of blood to his blade, which it greedily accepts, causing the sword to disintegrate into a storm of sand and wind, enveloping Nicholas,
The wind...she calls, she calls...
As the chaos dies down, Nicholas is revealed in his bankai state. Gone is his uniform of choice, instead replaced with a simple sleeveless black shirt, covered with a contrasted dark yellow vest. His pants are baggier, hanging loosely off his body, and yet tight enough so that they do not hinder his movement. His shoes become more ornamental and fancy in design, yet still functions beautifully, the tip of the shoe extending and finishing with a slight twirl.
"No, no...its just part of the look...My spirit has a wicked sense of humour. My toes really don't bend like that."
The blade is stained blood-red, a symbol of Nick's offering. It makes Nicholas as light as a feather, so that he can travel great speeds in a matter of seconds. Combined with his shunpo, and he is formidable in terms of speed. However, since he is light, it is easy to defend yourself against him. Simply pushing him away with enough strength will be enough to deter and throw Nicholas off. That is of course if your capable of seeing him.
When Nicholas runs, it sounds as though the wind itself is howling, allowing him to blend in and camouflage...
Attacks:
"The Desert Spirit": By spinning his blade rapidly, Nicholas can conjure up great sandstorms and tornadoes.
"Dragon's Breath" By concentrating reiatsu within his lungs and mouth, Nicholas can summon forth a powerful gust of air from his mouth that will sweep away his enemies and do damage. If used in conjunction with a flame or fire kido, it will transform into a torrent of flame.
"Dragon's Rage" By concentrating reiatsu into his arms, Nicholas can strike at his opponents with great strength, backed by the power of wind. To put into perspective, if Nicholas were to strike the ground, a tornado would form...or something lame like that.
Skills:
- The ability to speak Chinese, Japanese and English.
- The ability to pull off a British or American accent flawlessly
- Nicholas has a penchant for carving, and often during preparation for war, he is known to be carving himself a new shield, or a trinket for fun.
- Small things, like knowing when its about to rain and the what not.
Most of Nicholas' strategies circle around continual attacking and overwhelming his enemy with sheer force. Nicholas is known to build up and chain attacks in rows, often manipulating his Kaze Nenshou attack into various tendrils in order to attack his opponent from several sides at once. Nicholas thus tends to use Hadous more than Bakudo's to continue chaining attacks, his recent training in kido allowing him more access to higher level kidous and the ability to double cast certain hadous (31 and 33 at the moment)
Most of Nicholas' training has been directed in increasing his speed and strength in order to help him succeed with his strategy. That being said, when forced into a defense position, Nicholas isn't bad...he just prefers attacking. Recent training has taught Nicholas the value of stealth, and the idea of when to attack and when to preserve energy. As such, Nicholas' deadliness has increased as he trains more and more to be a more silent killer.
Personality: Nicholas comes off mostly as a casual sort of man whose known for his long bouts of madness and insanity. Nevertheless, there is a serious side to him, which thanks to repeated confrontations with war and the whatnot has begun emerging more. Nicholas is almost suicidally brave, not above attacking an Espada head on if it allowed the remainder of his squad to escape.
Nevertheless, Nicholas can often be quite harsh and scathing. His general dislike for authority stems from his rather early death as a teen, and his general human desires to place his own self-wants before others. Still, Nicholas does understand that their are times when the help of his higher ups is most useful, he just doesn't like the idea of relying on it too much.
Nicholas is an idealist, and has strong hopes of one day achieving a high rank such as Vice-Captain or 3rd Seat. While Captaincy is welcomed, to Nicholas it seems like too much work.
Bio/History:
"My life? What's there to say..."
Found floating above the skies of Down Under, Australia, Nicholas' first words to the Shinigami who sent him off on his merry way were "So you're the Grim Reaper huh? Kinda overweight aren't ya?"
Nicholas' memory of his childhood is dim, although he often recalls days when he acted as some sort of thief, stealing small bits of food in the slums of Sydney in order to feed himself. He cannot remember his original birth parents, such things having faded away during his hundred year stay in the Seiretei.
His interest in Shinigami grew from day one, when in a fit of rage the Shinigami he had insulted threatened to send the floating boy to hell for his insolence, leading to Nicholas' questioning. As they chatted, Nicholas was instantly drawn to the ideals of sword fighting, awesome robes and magical powers, requesting the Shinigami send him up and going as far as calling the man "Grim-sama."
His rather bizarre origins have a startling effect on Nicholas' psyche. To this day, he is still known to pray to "Grim-sama" whenever in times of trouble. The boasts of the Shinigami set a precedent, causing Nicholas to train as hard as he could during his childhood, often spending nights up practicing sword fighting or kidos. Most of his Shinigami Childhood was spent living and busking around the outskirts of the Sereitei slums, where he gained a love to brawling and trash-talking. Once again, to this day, Nicholas is known to descend into long bouts of profanity, particularly during combat.
Nicholas grew to be a somewhat about average Shinigami, excelling in speed and middling out at sword work and kidos. Upon joining 3rd Squad, Nicholas had unknowingly done a "Tagg Masaru" i.e. wear a mask so that people were confused about not only who you were, but what gender you were. Yes, I went there. It wasn't until his fight against Ti that Nicholas discarded the mask.
AFTER THE THREE YEARS
Nicholas returned from the wars a bitter and broken man, the loss of not only Captain Tagg to God knows where, but his shikai as well leaving him spiritually and physically ******** up. Eventually, he was capable of overcoming his pain and reformed a new sword in time for the retaking of the Sereitei, debuting Wu Ming at the Take Over Of Squad Three. Soon after the take over, he left Squad Three to train under the guidance of the 5th Squad, driven by his new found interest for kidos, before eventually returning to Squad Three as its new Vice Captain. Sure enough, he has begun to regain some of his old personality, still fond of disappearing off at tangents and spouting random acts of insanity during fights, although when pushed hard enough, he is capable of switching to a more serious mode.

Hadou #1 Thrust - Pushes the target away from the caster.
Hadou #4 White Lightning - Shoots a bolt of white reaitsu from the users fingertips.
Hadou #31 Shot of Red Fire - Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
Hadou 33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down)— Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to 31, but over a wider area and with more power.

Sword Skills: Iajutsu, using his sword sheath in a reverse grip as a kind of club and the "most useless sword skill ever" (A.K.A Causing minor vibrations in the object he hits with his sword)
Current Unlocked Attacks:
1) 5 Second Slash- An application of reiatsu to both the legs and the sword, it briefly improves Nicholas' speed and strength and allows him to deal quick and easy damage to his opponent. For some reason, the slash takes 5 Seconds to set in, allowing plenty of time for a sexy pose.
2) 5 Second Smash- An aerial attack, similar to five second slash, in which Nicholas jumps up and then smashes his blade into the ground where his opponent is. Gravity, Nicholas' own strength and the heaviness of his blade, along with the reiatsu in it make the attack so formidable.
3) 5 Second Stab- A big bad reiatsu-charged stab. Nuff said.
4) Bird Imitation Fighting Style Thing (Not official name)- After spending sometime watching birds act, Nicholas has imitated their fighting style. It's all very strange
6) Kiba's White Lightning Sword Strike (Not official name)- Kiba's original lightning based sword attacked, shamelessly plagiarized by the rest of Squad Three during the early bouts of their formation. Using the blade as a channel for the Hadou, the Shinigami can deliver a powerful lightning strike to their opponent. Thanks to Nicholas' non-conductive sword, this attack is delivered with the use of his short sword.
