Tansen let out a small sigh as he looked over what remained of his home. The tall and magnificent mansion that he had once spent his childhood days in now lay in shambles before him, decimated during the war with the arrancar. Seeing it now in such a pitiful state was enough to make the squad eight captain's insides squirm.

"Well, that's enough moping for now. I have a job to do."

Dressed in an expensive silk suit and matching black overcoat while inside his gigai, the shinigami captain pulled out a small soul candy out of his coat pocket and popped it into his mouth, causing his soul to rip apart from the artificial body he had been inhabiting. Not wasting a moment, Tansen swiftly drew his zanpakuto from it's sheath and waved his hand over it's blade, causing it to turn a majestic shade of green as he unleashed it's powers.

"...Transmute, Tsumari-Renkin."

As the words left his lips, the sword in the Tansen's hands grew slightly longer in length as it sprouted cryptic black markings all along the blade which suddenly changed to green as it's power was activated, signalling the start of an alchemic transmutation taking place. A few sparks of reiatsu and a burst of blinding light signalled it's end. Now where the ruins of his mansion used to be stood a majestic and regal looking mansion, restored to it's former glory by the captain's zanpakuto.

Looking over the mansion quickly, the shinigami prodigy acknowledged his fine handiwork before sheathing his weapon and walking up to the front door. Rather than opening it however, Tansen leaned his back up against the door and crossed his arms in front of him. Now that the mansion had been rebuilt, all he had to do now was wait for his companion to arrive before he could begin on his latest assignment. Resisting the urge to pull out a cigarette, the captain let out another small sigh as he waited for the other shinigami...

Interesting.

Nicholas, not for the first time and surely not for the last time was lost. Completely and utterly so. Floating as always in the sky above a sea of storied houses and mansions the size of his entire damned squad, Nicholas pondered the hows and whys of a condensed population such as Japan to build buildings of such sizes, when it would be more economically affordable to just build apartments everywhere.

Plus you could store more people...

Nicholas blinked, tilting his hat some more to cover his eyes in shadows, a worrisome look passing over his face as he did so.

"Interesting...when did I start treating humans as simple items...What has happened to my humanity...Have my years as a Shinigami really changed me that much?" He shook himself as he stood up, looking down directly at the mansion he had found himself hovering over, a contemplative look now on his face as he unstrapped his longsword.

"Captain Tansen Tsurugi of the 8th Squad...what business does he have with a simple Vice Captain such as myself..."

He leaned forward until he was practically perpendicular from his earlier position, facing directly down.

"Looks brand ******** new his house does...Maybe it should be up to me to add a few dents to the place."

Reiatsu dipped, and free from its grasp he fell, rushing down and down towards until when he was little more than 10 metres above the roof, he twisted, bringing his zanpaktou around to stab into the roof, gritting his teeth as the sudden stop jolted his arm, before he slid all the way down, blade digging deep into the wall and following gravity's pull downwards, until a large and rather ugly cut was present upon the face of the front of the mansion.

Nicholas smiled and took some time to admire his handiwork.

"Awesome."

He rang the doorbell.

It took Tansen a great deal of control and inner strength not to let his jaw drop as he watched Nicholas slash open the front of his newly rebuilt mansion. Upon hearing the shinigami ring the doorbell despite being right in front of him, it took the young captain EVEN MORE control and inner strength not to draw his sword right then and there and sever the lieutenant's head from his body. Letting out yet another sigh, Tansen instead shook his head and gave Nicholas a quick glance as he opened the door to the mansion and signalled him to follow.

Walking quickly through the magnificent halls, the young captain proceeded to the lower levels of the mansion and after taking a short pause to remember which door to go through, stepped into a regal looking room lined with rows upon rows of shelves that before the war had been filled with books. Seeing the private library empty like it was deeply saddened the shinigami captain, but he merely shrugged it off as he proceeded to the back rows.

Stepping up to the final shelf, Tansen finally found what he was loooking for: A small black book still perfectly in place in the middle of the shelf. Or at least that's what it looked like. Giving the fake book a sharp tug, the entire shelf slid away from the wall, revealing a large staircase that lead even deeper into the mansion and to the captain's personal training quarters. Making sure that Nicholas was right behind him before proceeding, Tansen let out yet another small sigh before making his way down the steps.

The training grounds had been specially made by the young prodigy shortly after he had been made captain. While it may have been a bit of a chore to travel all the way to Earth simply to use it, the training ground offered absolute privacy and solitude, as well as rough battleground to toughen oneself up. Jagged boulders dotted the area, and the lumpy soil covering the ground made poor footing for the people using it. There were also kido barriers placed along the walls to withstand the captain's powers and prevent him from causing the mansion to collapse on itself. It was perfect.

Leaning himself up against a nearby boulder, Tansen scratched the back of his head as he thought of the task that was now upon him. Training Nicholas was going to take strength and determination on both their parts. He only hoped that the lieutenant would be able to pull through.

"What the bloody hell?"

Nicholas, surprised to discover that he was still in one piece and that the Grand Line that was Tansen Tsurugi hadn't decided to murder him on the spot yet. Following the young Captain, he scratched his cheek as he took in the sheer size and general epicness of the mansion he had just cut into, quietly counting the number of steps it would take from the doorway to where-ever the hell Tansen was taking him.

Taking his first steps into what looked like Tansen's own personal library, he blinked owlishly at the bleakness and emptiness of the room, a small pang of sadness as he observed the once-full library, before continuing the journey to the cent- back. BACK of the library.

"A staircase triggered by a fake book...someone's been watching too much Batman..."

--

Interesting.

"A privately owned training ground huh. Been getting a few ideas from Urahara I see...Its rough, the floor is so clumped that its difficult to run across and it looks as if you've got kido barriers set up...Hot damn, how much did this actually cost you?"

He detached his weights as he did so, turning his head this way and that, before bending back to stare at the roof for a while, whistling as he did so.

"This should be fun. I can go as nuts as I want, and I won't be able to bring down the mansion like I did outside...Plus, my opponent is one of the Sereitei's best...Fighting him will require all of my skills...however little I have."

Folding his arms in front of him, Tansen acknowledged the lieutenant's question, trying to warm up to the nutty shinigami. If they were going to make it through this training then they would need to get along. They may have gotten to a rocky start, but hopefully that would change quickly as they continued training.

"It actually didn't cost too much. I created this training ground using the abilities of my zanpakutou and then placed the kido bariers myself with a little help from a friend of mine. And yes, it was designed to be similar to Urahara's training ground, though with a few adjustments on my part. But enough about that, let's get started on your training."

Stepping back from the boulder, Tansen lit up the end of his finger with a touch of his own reiatsu and started writing on the cool rock, engraving instructions for what the two would be going over. When he was finished, there was a square inscribed into the stone seperated into four different sections, each with a kanji above them to tell what was what.

"This is what I'm going to be teaching you. The very foundation of shinigami fighting techniques, or Zankensoki for short. The term refers to the four different types of fighting styles that shinigami use. I'm sure you remember all of this from your days in the academy, but a quick refresher never hurt anyone.

'Zan' refers to sword techniques or Zanjutsu, 'Ken' refers to hand to hand combat or Hakuda, 'So' refers to speed oriented techniques or Hoho, and finally 'Ki' refers to magic or Kido. Together, they make up the basic fighting style of modern day shinigami."

Taking off his captain's hayori, Tansen neatly folded the precious garment and placed it on top of the boulder before rolling up the sleeves of his shinigami uniform, exposing his tanned and scarred arms. Extending his left arm forward, the young captain quickly produced a shining orb of pure reiatsu. Cackling with sparks of sheer power, it was both beautiful and deadly.

"For starters, we'll be focusing on 'Ki'. Form a reiatsu orb like I have. It's the most basic step and is the foundation of most kido. Try to stay focused, cause they tend to explode if you're not careful."

Nodding his head to the tune of Tansen's "Lecture Voice", Nicholas dryly noted down everything the Captain had said, as well as acknowledging the fact that his rhythm was akin to Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent." He stored such information away for later use.

Extending his right palm, he concentrated all of his attention upon it, a small crackle of electricity running through his arm before a large ball of condensed reiatsu floating above his arm, a beautiful sea of blues and whites that reflected off Nicholas' brown eyes, which had widened in surprise and a little bit of fear before returning to their normal state. Tilting his head to the side, he studied his ball of reiatsu for a moment, a small smile on his face as he turned his gaze inward to where his zanpaktou spirit was lying.

"You had something to do with this didn't you?"

If Wu Ming had a head, it would have nodded.

"You are getting too influential these days."

It was understandable, Nick supposed. Blue had always been Falconer's colour of choice, and following the spirits subsequent destruction over the 3 year period of the Sereitei take over, he had gained a new sword: Wu Ming, who didn't exactly roll the same way Falconer did.

Boring flashback level background knowledge really.

"Zankensoki. I think I'm going to like this lesson."

He clenched his fist, causing his mass of quaking reiatsu to calm and shrink in size.

"My old shikai was based around the concept of making reiatsu balls...Its making me feel rather nostalgic..."

Tansen watched with keen interest as Nicholas formed his reiatsu orb. While the task seemed easy enough to perform, the young captain picked up on the look of surprise on the lieuenant's face as he held the sphere of energy in his palm and wondered what he was thinking about. At his remark however, Tansen's expression softened slightly before he spoke up in reply.

"Thinking about the past is a good thing, but for now I suggest you focus all of your attention on the task at hand. You're going to need to if you want to succeed. Kido is usually the most difficult of the four styles of fighting for shinigami to learn, and for good reason. Watch closely as I give you a quick demonstration."

Walking over a little closer to Nicholas for him to observe but not be in harm's way, the young captain shifted his body into his kido stance and his emerald green eyes slowly changed to a shocking electric blue as he manipulated the reiatsu in his body for a kido spell, making sure to go through each step slowly for his companion to watch and learn.

"Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Hado number thirty three, Sokatsui!" [Blue Fire, Crash Down]

As if in slow motion, a small sphere of reiatsu just like the one he had made just moments before formed in Tansen's palms as he recited the incantation. As he continued, the sphere grew slightly larger in size until finally it reached it's peak and began changing color from pearly white to deep blue. As the final words of the incantation were called out, the sphere finally changed into fire as Tansen unleashed it and the flash of blue flames streaked across the training grounds until it collided into a nearby boulder and reduced it to ashes. A few small flames licking at the ground where the kido had travelled were all that remained.

Turning to Nicholas, Tansen wiped a small trickle of sweat from his brow before speaking up. Performing the spell slowly enough for the lieutenant to see the steps was more difficult than he imagined. He was beginning to understand why he had been selected for this task.

"Did you get all of that? The sphere acted as the base of the spell and slowly took shape as the kido was being casted. It's the same with any other kido as well. The beginning point is starting with the sphere and making it change form or shaping it into something else. Do you understand?"

Huh.

Burning ball of fire, check.

Strange ritualistic chanting consisting of "Ye Lords" and "Mask"s of flesh and bone"?

Check that too.

There wasn't really a lot of difference between this, Hado 33 "Blue Fire, Crash Down" and his favourite hado of all time Hado 31 "Shot of Red Fire." Sure, it might be slightly more difficult, but it couldn't be that bad right?

Right?

Famous Last Words indeed.

"Ye Lord. Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man!"

The small ball of reiatsu flared up, a predominant blue colour clearly emerging from the confused mixture of whites and cyan blue, crackling and molding, wild...yet strangely enough tame in Nicholas' hands.

"Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!"

See, that was always the part about kidous he never really understood. As awesome as the basically concept was, it was dreadfully embarrassing to stand around like a t**t for 30 seconds, reciting wax poetry so disappointing that even a grade school wouldn't touch it.

His blue ball of flame was burning along nicely now, swelling and growing to a rather respectable size as Nicholas began to concentrate all of his efforts into making it replicate the likes of Captain Tansen, small beads of sweat already forming across his forehead as he worked his ******** me, this is harder than Hado 31..."

He clenched his fist, before his eyes widened slightly.

"Oh hell."

He let go, just as the blue ball flared brilliantly, releasing a beautifully bright flash of blue that temporarily blinded the Vice Captain, who waved his hand several times, blowing away at the smoke to reveal his hand partially burned. Nothing serious, he critiqued, but it still hurt like a b***h.

"This is what you get for underestimating a kido I suppose," He said with a shake of his head. "Got any pointers before I try again Captain?"

He passed his left hand over his right one, muttering a quick healing kido as he did so, watching the burned skin healing over as he listened patiently, before tossing away his sweat drenched hat, revealing his disturbingly long brown hair tied back in a messy ponytail. Androgynous maybe, if not for the very clear beard and the lack of any female um...parts.

"To break it down, this kido is disturbingly similar to number 31...although clearly more powerful...What I need is a way to contain and control such power...Control has never really been one of my strong points, I tend to do things in excess."

He gestured wildly to the misshapen longsword strapped across his back, whose glassy blue surface seem to glint in response to its recognition.

"Creepy." He commented to his zanpaktou spirit. The mass of substance seemed to be laughing at him...

"I never really understood half of these chants myself Captain," He commented as well. "Sinless Wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws? You'd think someone was high when they wrote this up..."

Watching Nicholas like a hawk as the lieutenant made his first attempt at the kido, Tansen mentally noted everytime there was an irregularity or odd fluctuation with his reiatsu as he cast the spell to understand what needed improvement before moving on to the next step. Despite Nicholas burning himself, the shinigami captain was quite pleased with his first attempt, and cleared his throat to gain his attention before speaking up.

"Well despite your lack of control, that wasn't bad for your first attempt. You seem to be quite skilled at channeling your reiatsu into the proper form at least. You're quite right by the way, this spell is very similar to Hado thirty one, in many ways. The main difference however, is that while Shakaho is compressed and then launched at a single target, Sokatsui is intended to spread across a large area to attack multiple foes at once. When you use them in actual combat, you'll find that they're quite different."

Letting out another sigh, the squad eight captain calmly ignored his companion's complaint about incantations and merely dismissed it with a shrug of his shoulders. It's not like he wrote the incantations. But trying to stay on track, Tansen spoke up yet again and began another explanation that would hopefully help Nicholas perform the spell.

"There's not much that we can do about the incantations. However, if they bother you that much then I suggest practising the Eishokai technique. For now though, let's make another attempt at this spell.

When you performed it last, you were able to successfully form it into it's proper form but were unable to control it. This means that you lack focus. Or perhaps you're too tense. Either way, take a deep breath, clear you head, and give it another try.

The number one rule about kido is not to think about anything else except for casting that spell successfully. For that one moment, abandon your emotions and thoughts. Focus entirely on the task at hand. Because if you don't, you're most likely going to die."
PostPosted: Sat Oct 31, 2009 12:16 am

Nodding along to the rhythm and rhyme of Tansen's lecture, before snapping his fingers and concentrating once again, he reformed a pulsating ball of white and blue reiatsu, and looked disturbingly impressed with the damned thing again, before releasing a breath he hadn't realised he'd been holding and closing his eyes, the chant coming out slower and more cautionary now.

"Ye Lord. Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, Ye who bears the name of MAN!"

The ball swelled in size, crackling madly with heat and power, a dark rich blue colour. Compact, condensed and very very dangerous.

Utterly fascinating. Having failed the first time, and having taken in Tansen's lessons and warnings, he'd come to understand something. There was no way in hell he would be able to contain and control something of this level with just the single hand option he was doing. Bringing his left hand around, he cupped the ball of flame in the same manner as though he was handling a very delicate piece of glass and then-

Relaxed. He let everything go. His concerns, his fears, his past, the discomfort caused by his zanpaktou still being strapped down to his back. His strange desire to one day bathe in a pool of peanut butter.

"Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your calls."

And of course the last, and utterly most important part: The name. Basic Shinigami 101 stated that giving an attacks a name made them stronger than when you didn't cast a name. And Nicholas did like a nice spazzy name.

"HADO 33: BLUE FIRE, CRASH DOWN!" Kamehameha!

He unleashed the beast kido, blue flames launching themselves from his fist and greedily leeching onto the nearby boulder, intense and disgustingly hot flames turning the boulder into a rather unimpressive pile of ash. A sad remainder of its former self.

What...power. A small tug at the side of his lips, before he broke out into full laughter, pure relief and joy resonating in his laugh as he closed his eyes and wiped away at the sweat on his forehead.

He could understand Shinigami's fascination with the art form that was kido. Something so potentially destructive, or potentially helpful in the hands of such mortals as themselves. The power to summon flames, shatter or forge shields, heal wounds or kill thousands lay in these two hands.

Raising both his palms with a kind of detached interest, he raised an eyebrow slightly. His right palm had burned again, slightly. No biggie.

It was just one small imperfection. One little falter on his way towards becoming a far more powerful Shinigami than he had over hoped to be.

"Thank you Captain Tansen." He said sincerely. "If you can increase my power so much with just one kido, I shiver at the thought of what else you can teach me. You are an interesting one..."

He extended his right palm, adjusting it in such a way that the burn was viewable from Tansen's perspective.

"I look forward to it sir."

Observing Nicholas as he performed the kido spell successfully, Tansen was incredibly pleased with the Lieutenant's mass improvement over the first attempt, and even more pleased with his thanks. The captain of squad eight returned Nicholas' sign of grattitude with a warm smile, but still batted his hand away lightly before speaking up.

"I appreciate the sentiment, but I'll only shake your hand after we're finished. We've still got a long ways to go. Now as for your next kido... We'll go with a Bakudo spell next.

Bakudo spells are very different than Hado spells. As you can tell from their names, Hado, or destruction spells, are meant to attack and destroy targets. Bakudo, or binding spells, are meant to hold a target in place or to support the caster. While Bakudo's may be much easier to control than Bakudo spells, they are far more difficult to learn and even harder to use properly in combat.

For starters, we'll begin with a relatively simple Bakudo spell, Sekienton. Basically, reiatsu is gathered through the casters arms and then pressed against the ground when released to create a thick cloud of smoke. This spell is meant to be used in emergency situations to confuse or escape from enemies. Here, I'll show you."

Stepping back a few steps from Nicholas, Tansen's eyes began to change from their usual emerald green to a dazzling shade of electric blue as reiatsu surged throughout his body for the kido. Quickly kneeling down, the young captain slammed his palms flat against the ground as he released the reiatsu pent up within them for the spell.

"Bakudo number twenty one, Sekienton!" [Red Smoke Escape]

As the words left his lips, a gigantic cloud of thick red smoke erupted from Tansen's hands and engulfed the area, making it impossible to see anything at all. When the smoke cleared, the captain of squad eight was nowhere to be seen. After a few seconds, he popped up a few feet next to Nicholas, arms once again folded in front of him.

"Unlike most Bakudo spells, this one doesn't really require much shape manipulation and isn't too difficult to cast. Just make sure to focus properly and you should be fine. Concentrate on gathering the reiatsu in your arms to your hands and then release it as you make contact with the ground."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 14, 2009 9:37 pm

Nicholas pointed dramatically, as though a singular spot light had flashed itself into existence to shine down at the Shinigami who faced off the Captain with a wild and excitable grin on his face.

"Ninja techniques are part of the Shinigami kido list? ******** yes!"

Tansen's long lecture about the differences between man and man- I mean hado and bakudo was duly noted of course, despite Nicholas' bizarre taste and concentration, when stimulated by the promise of massive flames and ninja techniques, it was more than enough to capture his interest.

White flames danced across his body as he concentrated his reiatsu, focusing now upon his arms, and feeling the ebb and flow of his reiatsu moving downwards towards his main limbs, slapping them together with a rather satisfying clap and driving them into the ground, chanting the incantation as he did so

"Bakudo 21: RED SMOKE ESCAPE"

A cloud of thick, red and condensed smoke erupted from the point of contact between the tangent of Nicholas' hands and the parabola of the ground, the gradient of Nicholas' hands and the nature of the parabola resulting in the cloud of smoke leaving a coughing and choking Nicholas, who emerged thumping himself on the chest while rubbing ferociously at his eyes.

"IT BURNSSS"

((Sorry dude, it was a really quick post. As you can probably tell, I'm in the middle of mathing))

At first glance it appeared as if Nicholas had succeeded with kido on his first try, pleasing Tansen greatly and increasing his confidence in the wacky lieutenant's ability. On the second glance however, the one where he saw the same lieutenant coughing and hacking as he emerged from the smoke, the young captain's palm instantly met his forehead and he shook his sadly as though saying "Why do I even bother...?" Ignoring the stinging pain from his forehead, Tansen quickly went over to the boulder where his captain's hayori was and rumaged through the precious garment for a second before finding what he was looking for: A bottle of water.

"Here, drink this. After you're finished and focused again, give it another shot."

Tossing the bottle to Nicholas, Tansen calmly leaned his back against the boulder and closed his eyes thoughtfully for a moment as he waited for the shinigami to drink the water and compose himself, trying to go over what just happened with the lieutenant's attempt at the kido in his head so as to make sense of it.

Even though it wasn't exactly done correctly, it looks like he was able to at least form the smoke cloud properly, so in a sense he succeeded. In this case, he wasn't as focused and the unstable reiatsu caused the smoke cloud to be released from his hands in a more violent fashion then it was meant to...If he can just calm down and focus properly, he can probably pull it off.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 29, 2009 3:20 am

Popping off the cap of the bottle of water in one easy squeeze, Nicholas tilted his head back and sculled the precious liquid within, draining about half of the content before he pulled it away with an "ahhh" of relief and replacing the cap. Wiping furiously at his mouth, he smacked his lips and gave the still slushing water a look.

"So, what went wrong with my last kido attempt mister bottle?" Nicholas asked seriously, a look of complete and utter focus upon his face as he glared down at the plastic container of liquids. The water seemed to calm under Nicholas' glance, as though pondering this conundrum itself, before it renewed its fury when Nicholas shook it with vigor, as though it was some bizarre Magic 8-ball.

"Interesting, so you think I should focus more, stem the flow of my kido a bit and try again for maximum efficiency? Jeez Mister Bottle, you sure do sound like my old car insurance..."

The bottle of water bubbled in protest.

"Alright alright jeez...Sorry man, didn't mean to compare you to a soulless insurance broker...You're pretty cool you know, for an inanimate object and all...You happen to know Mount Franklin by any chance?"

Tossing the bottle aside before it could answer, Nicholas channeled his reiatsu back into his palms and smacked them together again, producing a ringing sound that made even Wu Ming wince slightly.

"Ow...How the ******** does Edward Elric do this s**t...The boy has a damned metal arm for Grim's sake...hell, even for Falcon's sake this is rubbish..."

Bringing his limbs down, he watched them connect with the Earth, the incantations burning within his mind as they struck, and already his mouth began forming words.

"Bakudo 21: SEKIENTON!"

As its name...didn't really suggest, red smoke poured off the ground as the kido finished, completely obscuring Nicholas, who took the time to hold his breath and quietly move from the cover of the smoke, so that when it dispersed, he could no longer be found. Releasing the breath as the last of the smoke disappeared, he waddled over to the tossed aside bottle of water and drank the rest, miming screaming actions as he did so.

((Its short and s**t dude, but I am busy and didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. Word up))

((It's not s**t at all man, it's pretty good. Sorry for the insanely long wait, you wouldn't belive my work load))

Ignoring Nichoas' conversation with his bottle of water, Tansen focused carefully on observing the shinigami's second try at Senkienton, and was very pleased with the results. He hadn't foolded him with his sneaking around due to the captain's talent with sensing reiatsu, but the kido had been successfully performed nonetheless, and that was what mattered. Now that he thought about it, Nicholas had been going through the kido spells at a very impressive pace. Tansen made a mental note to himself to remember the Lieutenant's talent with kido in case he ever required his assistance in the future.

"Congratulations Nicholas, that was excellent. That kido is yours to use now. I'll go over the next spell now, so watch and listen carefully."

Walking a few steps back away from Nicholas, the young captain let out a small sigh before turning around and leaping into the air, his eyes already electric blue to signal the manipulation of his reiatsu. Twisting his body in mid air, Tansen swiftly drew his left hand and rapidly outlined a triangle in the sky with his reiatsu, which then sprouted pointed blades of energy at the corners that resembled beaks. Finally, he slammed his right palm against the triangle, causing it to launch the blades directly at Nicholas.

"Bakudo number Thirty, Shitotsu Sansen."[Beak-Piercing Triple Beam]

As it so happened, the blades soared right past the shinigami, and instead lodged themselves into a boulder directly behind him, causing it to crumble fro the impact. Landing softly on the ground, Tansen flicked a stray hair from his face before folding his arms across his chest and speaking up again, his eyes already back to their usual shade of emerald green.

"That was Bakudo number thirty, a moderately powerful binding spell. After outlining the shape of the spell with your reiatsu, you launch the blades that sprout from the corners which then pin the target to a selected surface, usually a wall. It's a bit more complex than most spells and it's tricky to pull off, but when successfully performed it can make all the difference in a life or death battle. It's not easy to escape from it.

Go ahead and give it a try yourself. Concentrate your reiatsu in one of your hands and use it to outline the triangle, let it charge for a second until it sprouts the blades, the launch them with a strike from your fists or feet. Don't worry if you don't get it on your first try."

((This one's probably gonna take you two to three posts to complete seeing as it's a bit more complicated, so take your time and concentrate on describing the differentactions. If you don't quite get how it works, here's a link to it: http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/KidÃ… ))
