Name:Kat Dragonsbane
Player: Arafel
Gender:Female
Age: 36
Area: Elementary
Experience: High college education, but no actual job experience.
Ages:2-7
Personality:Kat is the highest form of sweet. She never raises her voice, always knows just what to say to the children. How they think, how to use their interests to communicate with them. She was a child psychology major before D-corp.
She also knows massive amounts of Karate(more history reasons), and can no doubt easily stop any fight that breaks out among the children without hurting anyone. A grab of the ear, a hit to the right place to release a grab... She knows it all and handles everything in a calm and effective manor.

All and all she is the perfect teacher for kids this age, and thus why D-corp chose her.

She does have one severe drawback. She's Bipolar, and while she'll stay perfect and wonderful while on her medication... If for whatever reason she goes off of it the opposite will take place. However, D-corp keeps a close monitor on her and her medication, so this hasn't slipped out yet.
Past: Kat was a grade A student up until high school, in which she started acting strangely. She was soon diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and put on medications to help regulate this. To which she went back to her grade A behavior, until she'd skip a dose and wind up back where she started. This all put a big dent in her career dream of working with children. Even after working up to a PhD in psychology and Childcare, most people would not accept her as a worker due to her history.

She wound up working poor jobs, until her high school friend Blade told her about a company that wanted to hire her to work with children. Enthralled, she took D-corps offer without hesitation, and now does her life long dream's work and more.

Name: Raven Millner
Player: DivineSaturn
Gender:Female
Age: 24
Area: Magic
Experience: Two years at Kyrvos Academy for the Magically Inclined, teaching Magical Ritual and Mathematics.
Ages: 8+
Personality: Calm and collected, or at least likes to appear that way. A stern taskmaster, who takes no excuses and no nonsense from her pupils- or anyone else, for that matter. To her, people are split into those she can use, and those who are useless and/or not worth her time. If anyone treats her as if she's less than what she believes she is, she'll react coldly and harshly. That said, if any of her students has trouble, she is willing to help, if only because she doesn't want them to reflect badly on her. Despite appearances, magic is one of the few things she is passionate about, and will talk about it for hours if allowed.
Past: Born and raised in a small city along with her with two brothers, and later the addition of two cousins. She excelled early on, especially in the field of magic. The daughter of a talented sorceress, it was believed that magic actually ran in her blood. Tragedy struck in her teens, when events caused the death of her eldest brother and cousin, leading to her mother's suicide. She managed to recover enough to finish her apprenticeship, and found a teaching job at a small school. During the course of her term at Kyrvos, she met and was proposed to by her finance, but then left the realm to come to Gaia in pursuit of something, and landed a job at D-Corp teaching its "special" students magic.

Name:Orpheus Solon
Player: Rayne Winner
Gender:Male
Age: 37
Area: Specialties
Experience: Running, jumping, climbing, sneaking, all the athletic things associated with what he used to do for an... erm... job. No training through education passed high school though as that wasn't his thing back then.
Ages:All
Personality: An over all cheerful and happy person, good with the kids that he was works with and the two of his own that he has ended up with. He does well with adults but women and the mysteries of them are completely lost on him. Orpheus could be seen as being a bit lazy as often times he could be caught napping when not on the job. Mostly this is due to the really odd hours that he keeps to be able to do all the classes that he wants to get done, taking care of things at home, and life in general.

Coffee is very much his friend.
Past: A gem thief by trade before he came to work at D-Corp, he did it more for the thrill of the hunt and to prove that he could do it then actually for the treasures that he obtained at the end of the heist. His stolen gems only ended up laying around his apartment to gather dust. Due to this he took to re-cutting the stolen stones, resetting them, and giving them away. This habit has stayed with him even after he became a teacher, at the end of his classes he is known to give out trinkets to his students who pass made from gems hes lifted. Not that they know where they items have came from.

His original group his broke up due to a lot internal problems, jealousy, and his being a bit oblivious to the feelings of the two women that he worked with. After they dissolved and went their separate ways he ended up working a long line of dull, mind numbing jobs with no challenge to them until offered one at D-Corp. He jumped on the offer, anything to get out of what his life had been.

Now there is more challenge and excitement then he could have ever hoped for amongst his classes, especially the flying ones.

Name: Kenneth York
Player: Ieeko
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Area: History
Experience: Kenneth acquired a four year degree regarding general histories at a university in Durem [University of Durem. UoD]. Shortly after, he went on the road to become a teacher, and, for a time, taught history at a public school in the town. Later on, he shifted from such a school to another school, and eventually quit the job due to dissatisfaction with the atmosphere of the classroom and workplace. As an unemployed educator with a history major, he had little idea of what to do and attempted to write books regarding historical events. Only one ever made debut, and it flailed into oblivious almost immediately after its publishing.

In short terms: Kenneth's experiences are minor, extending only to two, relatively short, terms as a teacher, a history major, and a time as a historical events author.
Ages:13+
Personality: If there's one thing in particular about Kenneth, it's that he can't be too serious. Somberness tends to make him irritable or nervous. The same consequence applies for solitude. Kenneth requires a lot of noise and action, thus he often creates such things for his own benefit. He's very motionate and vocal, making hand gestures and speaking in an overly loud voice. Some may describe his behavior as obnoxious or attention seeking, but it truly is a form a self gratification to keep he himself from being bored or feeling out of place.

He is a lover of jokes, even with his stale humor, often attributed to immaturities or to history. It is not uncommon for him to blurt out a random comment in an attempt to be funny. Of course, whether or not he proves himself funny depends on his audience. Regardless, the fact remains that Kenneth has a quirky sense of humor that frequently surfaces.

The man is generally light in manner. It's a rarity to see him angered or upset to the point of apparent unhappiness. In a way, it might be considered creepy how happy he tends to be [and how hyperactive]. The best of terms to describe his typical behaviors is child like and ecstatic. He likes to have fun, and it shows through every action and word.

Despite such amusing qualities, Kenneth knows when to cap it. He does not particularly like solemn occasions, but he is respectful of their existence, and he certainly does not allow time for things to run off track. He's very target orientated, which means that he simply will not run off tangent [he tries not too, anyway] during a lecture. He's center focused on the concepts at hand [for the most part], and that's just a self set of work ethics [ethics in general] that he established early on in teaching. There also rests the grounds of personal opinions. As mentioned, Kenneth is incredibly loud, vocal, and his opinions are no exception. It is quite likely
that he would spark a debate solely on his opinion. In such a case, one could expect the argumentative side to shine through, which, blind to he himself, is rather frightening. His anger is rare, but his argumentative nature is another story. He likes to be right, and when he's wrong it can be a little conflicting.

The finest of words to summarize his personality? Hyperactive, quirky, focused, and argumentative.
Past: Kenneth was born from his mother's prior marriage. It had not worked out, quite obviously, which had led to issues regarding his custody, and his parents in general. His true father had been a business man and had gathered every intention to raise Kenneth as such. His mother had worked for a publishing company as an editor, and, in that, had gathered her own plans to work Kenneth into the literary venues. Needless to say, Kenneth's mother won the custody battle, but she had not one the entire war. For his entire childhood, Kenneth was split between two homes, two families.

His mother had remarried by the time he was eight years old, and his father had followed in suit. Such a thing led to the establishment of the two families [something he often quipped about during classes, often making jokes about how he had two mothers, two fathers, and several siblings]. As a result of the new marriages, Kenneth gained several family members, seven new siblings to be more precise. Amongst them, he was the only boy actually born to his parents. The majority of those within the family were either female, or had been a result from a previous marriage on behalf of one step parent. Within this group of seven children, there was one particular individual he was fond of, and that was his step brother, Samuel. The two of them, upon meeting, began to form a seemingly unshakable bond, one typically associated with brotherhood.

Unfortunately, Samuel was on his father's side, and due to the custody, their visitations were often shattered by time restrictions. Despite such a thing, they were like peas in a pod from the day they met to the start of their high school years, when their paths became very different.

When high school began, Kenneth changed from the rambunctious youth that had been connected with Samuel. He became absorbed in a variety of things, particularly sociology and history. His parents' battle over influencing his occupation picked up, ultimately leading to a collision within his brain that melded them together, but hid them away for repairs. The drama between his two families often led to stress, difficulties concentrating. Kenneth failed his freshman and sophomore years of high school, nearly dropping out. However, a stunning history teacher caught his attention and kept him in place. At the start of his Junior year, he met his idol, a Ms. Pamela Lewis. Throughout the year in her class, he became an avid student. His fascinations with history picked up, and eventually led to the revival of his parental influences, only further influenced by the course. Kenneth, by mid year, had decided to turn himself around, having every intention of becoming a Historian, working for some university [a business factor], and potentially writing books regarding study. He became infatuated with Ms. Lewis, and her inspirations were possibly the only thing to carry him through high school.

After graduation, he was accepted to the University of Durem, where he majored in the general histories. He only made it four years in before deciding it was enough. Eventually, he became a teacher and worked for two different schools, in between publishing one book of ephemeral status. This was all a good time before his job at D-Corp was taken, roughly two-three years.

Name: Perilas Coleman
Player: Nikiana
Gender: Male Female, whut?!
Age: 33
Area: Flight Instructor/Dragon Trainer
Experience: Peri is obsessed with dragon, especially dragons in folklore. He's read many books and laughs at several for their lack of accurate information.
Ages: 5+
Personality: Perilas is very open with women. He has a reputation for bedding nearly every female he meets. He gets along fairly well with men, unless they get into a dispute over a woman or if the man attempts to hit on him. Perilas is man and proud of it.

As far as kids, Peri is a bit indifferent about them. As long as they don't start talking back to him or fighting in class, he's just fine with their existence. He thinks they're all odd and very silly.
Past: After high school, Peri skipped out on college to go on a world trip, trying to find some dragons in the wild. He traveled from place to place, picking up various legends not found in books and recorded stories that had been passed down in various small tribes around the world. Though he never found a wild dragon, he published a book containing all of the dragon stories.

After that, Peri worked various jobs to earn money, usually only enough to pay rent for whatever little apartment he was crammed into. Women became his new love, not quite replacing dragons, but supplementing it in his loneliness. He started flirting with every woman he saw; badly at first, but gradually getting a bit better, though he's still not the world's best flirt (or even close).

Eventually, D-corp contacted him about a job for his first love and he took it up.

Name: Thomas Barkhelm
Player: Thalion
Gender: Male
Age: 65
Area: Magic
Experience: In the field of teaching he's relatively new, he'd been a magic-user since he was around the age he's currently assigned to teaching.
Ages: 8+
Personality: Cold, quiet, and mysterious. Thomas comes off as brutally honest, disrespectful, and horribly invasive to his students. There's very low tolerance for horseplay or distractions when around him. He approves of very little it seems and many under him have become to feel like a mouse under the gaze of a hungry raptor. Thomas' true nature is well-guarded and rarely shows. He carries himself like a perfect gentlemen when outside of the classroom. Speaking little but saying more than enough in how he behaves.
Past:Not originally from gaia, Thomas' race is known as he Namu- a cousin of the humans though a race that had never been cursed with the mortality of Eden. While not 'immortal' as some would say, magic users are known to reach into the thousands without showing much sign of aging. Thomas came from a simple enough family with a simple enough life though his 'true sight' developed around the time he was seven, setting him apart from his brothers. His parents saved to send him to a magic academy in which he flew through the classes with ease and was among the top graduates of his class. Fresh out of the academy, Thomas found a job working as an on-hire mage. A highly honorable position though much of the tasks were simple as providing light, purifying or providing water, and repairing damaged weapons. Thom settled down with a young woman that had graduated within his class just two ranks above himself. He fathered a single child, a boy, by the name of Jacob.

The war began shortly after Jacob's birth and the mages were called to serve under the crown to defend their country. They were greatly outnumbered and quickly forced back into the villages and towns. The casualties were growing by the hour. Mages left and right were being felled by those of the enemy army. Thomas was among the few that survived. However, his life cost that of his family and his left hand.

The battle was lost and the survivors were scattered. Thomas found himself joining a small group of refugees that gated to Gaia to find shelter away from the advancing army. Still a young man, Thomas became cold and bitter as the elderly mages that had raised him through schooling. He never speaks of his past, of his son, or his wife. He uses his lost hand -now replaces with a magical construct- as an example of foolishness in magic though that's the most he'll ever reveal.

Personality: Kayin is a very mellow and relaxed sort, he just has a calmed air about him. Angry just seems to be something he can't do. Though, if you threaten the braid of hair you can bet you'll get knocked out, but even in that he can do it with a calm and unaffected expression.
Past: Kayin's background starts in a tribe far away from Barton, or any of the cities known to Gaia, his growing years he learned the art of fighting and hunting just like everyone else. (Also note, this isn't a tribe from any real life situation, though it may have similarities in parts, it's all from my head.) Though the rest of his growing years are somewhat more secretive, he came to the main part of Gaia only recently. (Think the skin update in OOC terms. XD) At the age of 31, he felt he'd learned everything he could, and set out to explore and share his wisdom with the world. To which, he found himself at D-corp, and took up the job of teaching young minds the fine art of battle.

Name:Madeline Crossette
Player: Gabriela Juliana
Gender:Female
Age: 24
Area: Substitute Teacher
Experience: Madeline earned her teaching degree through a four year school and from there received one year of university education before leaving to come work for D-corp.
Ages:All
Personality: For most people, the words "Ice Queen" come to mind when meeting Madeline. Why shouldn't they? The woman has all the charm and looks of a perfect boarding school brat. Madeline believes in all things civilized and proper, the key to life is following the rules, and enjoying the simple pleasures along the way is only the icing on the cake. Madeline may not be as sugary sweet as Kat, yet, she is neither as chill or harsh as Raven. Consider the teacher a mix between the two females, a woman on medium ground. After all, how horrible can someone be if they like children?
Past: Madeline Marie Crossette was born the one and only child to Elizabeth and Richard Crossette, two very rich, yet very busy parents. Both her mother and father loved their beautiful daughter dearly. It was just...neither had time to raise a child. So it came to be at the tender age of seven, Madeline was sent off to an all girls boarding school in hopes that she would obtain an education of sorts and be taken care of. Like most institutions of the private nature, Madeline's days were kept busy not only with standard educational classes, but also activities such as dance, cooking, etiquette, etc. The adjustment wasn't easy for Madeline, and her youth was troubled to say the least. More frequently than not, she would spend her evenings visiting the neighboring boys school across the way. After a time, though, that stopped, and the girl grew into the woman she currently is. Music was always Madeline's favorite subject as she was growing up, and so when she discovered her love of children in college, the woman quickly put two and two together, working towards a goal which would allow her to teach music. A job which incorporated both of her loves.

She finished the first few years with out incident, receiving both the basic degrees one could obtain. In an effort to specialize her abilities as best she could, Madeline continued onto a University education. Yet, life became complicated during her second year of schooling, troubles with her parents and a long term love affair threatened to destroy all she had worked for. So when a professor of Madeline’s offered to set her up with a substitute job at growing institution named "D-Corp", Madeline quickly agreed to it. It wasn't a music teaching position, or a real teaching position for that matter...and the pay wasn't nearly enough to support Madeline with the comfortable life style she was used to living...none the less, good things come in small packages, and for now the substitute was content.
