Please keep some things in mind. First of all, I am moderately color-blind. I cannot see subtle hues. Light colors on white are especially difficult for me to see. Also, don't use TINYFONTS. I cannot see them. I cannot respond to something I cannot see.
I retain the right to refuse to role play with you for any reason.
Yes, I am willing to critique your character, but I am under no obligation to do so. Yes, I am mean about critiques. No one gets better by being told, 'Goodie-goodie gumdrops with rainbows! 8D'.

Orientation: …Hard to say… he identifies as asexual but he admits physical attraction to both sexes. Romantic and mental attraction are reserved for males, mostly.

Physical Description: Standing at 5’7’’, C’ren is a little shorter than average, but he tries not to let that hold him back. He has what would be politely called ‘aristocratic features’. If you want to be impolite, go ahead and call him a skinny little b*****d. He’s tougher than he looks, however, thanks to years as a Dragonrider and, before that, years on the farm. He’s rather lanky; although there’s not very much of him, he seems to be all long limbs. His hair is light blonde. Very light. He has light gray eyes and generally wears a pair of silver glasses. Rather bookwormish, really. He generally doesn’t get enough sleep so he seems cursed with constant circles under his eyes.
Personality: In one word, he’s bitter. In more than one word, he’s also cold, dispassionate, and aloof, or at least he pretends to be. In his heart of hearts, C’ren is a good man. That doesn’t, however, mean that he’s nice. People, as far as he can tell, are inherently evil. Some are simply less evil than others. He’s seen far too much to be fooled by this fairy tale of so-called ‘human goodness’. He doesn’t do things out of the hope for humanity; he does them because it’s the right thing to do, damnit, and he doesn’t think anyone else will do it. Everything takes a backseat to his job, whatever it happens to be at the moment. He'll always put his all towards the accomplishment of his task.
It hasn’t escaped his notice that, while Thread falls, everyone loves the Riders. The moment the skies are clear, however, look who’s everyone’s favorite scapegoat! He despises that sort of fair-weather-friendship and will not stand for it. If, by chance, you manage to survive his aloof and cold personality, you’ll have a friend for life.
Why, yes, he DOES hold grudges. He simply doesn’t act on them, preferring to keep them all simmery inside. It can’t be healthy. He’s persnickety and insists on things being just so. Actually, he’s a bit a**l about keeping things clean.
Others who encounter him generally assume that he was some spoiled lordling growing up. He doesn’t mind this and does nothing to dissuade the rumor. He’s highly adaptive, willing to be either a follower or a leader as the situation demands. He’s also very patient when it comes to seemingly impossible tasks. This patience fails to carry over to most people.
He can get flustered, primarily about sex. Being a control freak and all, mating flights are more than a little uncomfortable for him. When flustered, he normally finds something to do with his fingers, like fiddling around with a corner of fabric or shredding a bit of paper. It's an unconscious reaction.
Ceylith, of course, sees the soft and fluffy side of her Rider. She firmly believes that he hasn't changed much from the boy he once was; he's just more subtle about his 'save-the-world' mentality these days.
Other/Talents: OCD. Seriously. D: OCD. Don’t touch his stuff. And don’t you dare get it dirty either. He has an excellent memory for things and the annoying habit of noticing when things don’t quite fit. He wears glasses most of the time, and goggles during flights. Don’t touch those either and don’t ever get smudgy fingerprints on them. He’s slightly near-sighted.

History: C'ren
With the overcrowding of the Weyrs, the tithes in the Holds have gone up. The Holds didn’t like that much and tended to grumble about it. A lot. C’ren heard this as a youngster and never really forgot. He never really forgot a lot of things.
He grew up in a cothold in a fairly typical farmer’s family. Lots of kids, lots of relatives, and very little special attention. For a time, the young boy was rather put out about the lack of attention, but he got over it quickly. In his mind, his other siblings needed more attention than he did because he was obviously much better than them. In time, he grew to like his independence, reveling in his own personal freedom. There was always a lot of work to do in the fields, of course, but the boy managed to keep some time to himself. Every time the tithes went out, he heard his relatives complain about the greed of the Riders, the avarice of those beasts of theirs. Why should the people have to work so hard to support others who were doing nothing, huh? Why, they couldn't even grow anything in Weyrs! That's why they had to unfairly tax others!
Naturally, all of this talk stopped as soon as the Riders went out on Search. Suddenly, dragonriders were considered amazing and the heroes of humanity. Of course, it was considered very wise to avoid insulting someone who has a twenty-foot dragon.
For a time, the Dragons and their brave Riders were hailed as heroes. This confused the young boy, who boldly asked about all those mean Riders his parents always complained of. He got a smack for that, of course, and a lesson in keeping his mouth shut. He remembered.
Eventually, when he was sixteen, he was fed up with his family and bade them farewell; he was going to become a Dragonrider. His decision was based partly on teenage defiance, partly on curiosity, and mostly on his desire to do some real good in the world. Or at least try. He was vaguely aware that there was probably some sort of test or something, but he was confident he would pass.
This was the biggest learning experience of his life. Out in the real world, he learned that no one actually cared about him. Not specifically, like his family did. The world was not a warm and happy place, as he had been led to believe. It did not nurture; it preyed on the young and foolish, such as himself. Several times he considered going back home, but he couldn’t imagine that for very long. That would be failure. He was eighteen when he was finally Searched and Impressed Ceylith. It was the happiest day of his life.
His parents were less enthused about this new development. However, they recognized that this was important to their son and didn't want to push him away for good. C'ren remains in contact with his family, although he hasn't visited them in a while.

Green Ceylith
Name: Ceylith (Sell-ith)
Color: Green
Font Color: SeaGreen
Physical Description: At 21 feet long, Ceylith is small, even for a Green. With her smaller stature comes a weaker stamina. However, she’s also faster and more agile than others, especially with her experience. Her hide overall is a brilliant emerald color. Her nose is lighter, closer to jade, along with her belly. Her wing tips are dark, almost forest green. She also has a dark dorsal stripe down her back and tail, starting mid-neck.
Personality: While C’ren seems to vibrate with an internal need to do everything at once, Ceylith would prefer to let someone else handle it. She’s also a bit shyer, preferring to wait and see how the Bronzes and Golds react before responding to anything. If she stresses about anything, it’s only because she senses C’ren’s stress and starts to worry about her rider. She occasionally attempts to protect her rider by trying to distract him with… well… anything. Even watching C’ren fuss over the dirt in the weyr is better than letting him stew and simmer about the ‘wrongs of the world’. Mostly, Ceylith is a quiet worried sort, one who wants to do good because she wants to be liked.
Her long-term memory is poor, even compared to that of another dragon, but she is very kind. Her favorite thing in the world is to simply relax with C’ren and maybe even watch the rider sleep when that actually happens. If she’s ever angry, it’s likely because someone woke C’ren up. Of course, she’ll be apologetic for it later, providing she remembers. Even if she doesn’t remember, she’ll be apologetic.
Other: She’s rather quiet, hesitating before talking even to other dragons. If she talks to anyone at all, it’ll most likely be to apologize for the behavior of her C’renmine. While C’ren fusses over the mess of the world, Ceylith fusses over C’ren. She’s a very motherly sort of dragon, babying even Vox.
Like most girls, Ceylith loves ponies. Unlike most other girls, however, she only wishes to eat them.

Vox is not the brightest glow in the basket, if you know what I mean. He's affectionate, but he has a very short attention span and an even shorter memory. He's the sort of flit who flies into things. Often. If you have food, you're his best friend EVER. The blue flit was a present from a then-friend. C'ren does not like to talk about this friend much, or the circumstances that led to the dissolution of the friendship. Vox is slightly chubby for a firelizard, thanks to being spoiled by C'ren.
The only person he strongly dislikes is Alchemar, C'ren's older brother.

Pyrite here is a true little queen. She's a gold flit and she knows it! And, just to make sure no one else forgets it, she is sure to remind them. She demands only the best of everything: food, sleeping spaces, attention... but she also demands only the best of herself as well. She's a spoiled little bratling of a firelizard, but she means well. I think.

Weyr Layout and Location
Due to the overcrowding in the weyr, C’ren and Ceylith share their weyr with F’sey and Ialluth. For a pair of Greens, it’s a fairly good-sized weyr. This is, perhaps, a nod towards F’sey’s seniority. Either that, or people instinctively realize that neither Greenrider wants to be in a small space for a significant length of time.
It’s one of the older weyrs and holds some of the older features including:
A hallway that connects to the Weyr proper. This is incredibly useful for the Greenriders who both prefer to dispose of Flight-partners as soon as possible. This is also useful to F'sey, who recently became Weyrlingmaster. If any of his non-flying students need help, they can easily walk.
And an actual bathing pool. Considering C’ren’s insistence on cleanliness-----and how both prefer privacy-----the bathing pool is a necessity for the pair.
Like most other weyrs in Ista Weyr, the sleeping furs are mostly unused. Hammocks are preferred, except for ‘social emergencies’, as C’ren lightly puts it. There are also occasional bottles of alcohol hidden around the room, courtesy of the younger Greenrider. In general, it’s a very clean weyr. No, really clean. There is a distinct ‘unlived in’ aura to the weyr, since C’ren will go on cleaning frenzies every so often.
