The Fledgling Festival

The Minders' Enclave is bustling with activity, and the commotion is nearly louder than the hatchlings around feeding time. Tonight is the night when Bards have invaded the Enclave to give the fledglings their own special event. The night is filled with music, laughter and brightly painted bards. There's even an Artisan arranging the tools of her trade on one of the smaller platforms. I wonder why she's here...

Some of the Minders are taking the opportunity to take some well deserved time off while the fledglings are enjoying themselves. Other Minders are still in the Enclave, keeping the hatchlings out of the way or making sure the fledglings are behaving themselves.

But not only fledglings and bards are attending the festival. Several adults are moving around at the edge of the festivities making everything run smoothly. A few gatherers have volunteered to feed the young ones and several watchers have gathered to watch. The graduation will be soon, and their opinion will be needed when the Warden makes his final decision about these fledglings' future task.

For some of the older fledglings this is the last chance for fun and folly before the big night when they step up to claim their place in Sentinel society.

The night is young so gather 'round the nearest bard and forget what worries tomorrow night might bring!

Event rules:
- You need to reply within a 24-hour period, these are meant to be fast-moving RPs.
- Follow post order! The order you enter the thread dictates the post order, and late arrivals may be skipped until they show up.
- Check back regularly, even if there are no new replies. If there's a minor problem staff might edit your post and ask you to fix it.
- The Herald might post in your thread to act as the environment or as an NPC, but will not be part of the post order in most threads.
- If you'd like to leave your thread for another one you need the permission from the Herald first.
- You will not be able to jump around willy-nilly and will not have time to visit all the threads, so make your decisions wisely.
- There will be no more than 3 fledglings in the same thread at any time. Exceptions might be made at the Herald's discretion.
- If you leave a thread for another, post IC in your current thread that you are leaving.
- The Herald might make a post and include a link to another thread, this means you're free to go explore that performance.
- Rules might be changed or added as needed.
- PM the Herald if you have any questions or concerns.

Additional adult rules:
- Since there was so much interest a few adult threads were created.
- The adult threads will get less Herald input than the others since this is mainly meant to be a fledgling event.
- Adults will not be able to change threads to join a performance, but fledglings can come visit the adult threads if they want to.


Roleplay spotlight!
The Fledgling Festival has started so the Minder's Enclave is filled with bards and happy fledglings. I think we should celebrate that with an extra roleplay spotlight.

Ohhhh! Fjord is telling a story about Fatewynd... My favourite! Hmmm... Looks like there are other kinds of fun to be had too. Featherpaint anyone? Ouch... I hope Jester is ok....

Festival spotlight!
The festival will soon be coming to an end, but the fledglings are still enjoying themselves.

Jester is telling a tale about a clever bug to the two fledglings in his nest while Brightling is entertaining her audience with clever tricks.

Willow is in charge of feeding the young ones together with a very talkative Minder. Dodger, the patchy little freak, decided to go there to get a snack after being encouraged to leave the performance she was attending. No wonder, who would want to get the white-sickness?

Meanwhile Lady Peridot is finding herself with her talons full of scout wannabes.
