Welcome to E-mice, a wonderful little shop abounding with things. Okay, not quite so little, we're actually out between Aekea & Barton, out where we have room to research the E-mice and have space to expand ourselves. Still, welcome, welcome. Please, have a seat, make yourselves comfortable and don't worry much about the creatures around ehre - they're all rather friendly.  August 01 :: New HD so hopefully no more computer issues. So that means all kinds of shiny new spiff. Expect a newsletter with soem idea fo what and where and all, and expect a soon-to-open custom for SEs. ALSO - duck and cover - I'm gonna be changing comission prices. I'm gonna be basing them fof complexity, so if you wan tto order a really simple custom mouse, it'll be less then it is now. *gasp* XD But seriously, watch for the new price soon, likely unveiled sometimes just after the flatsale hopefully. July 14 :: Still working on the FF list... computer problems have arisen - more of the old crash problems. :/ Joy of ALL joys... hoping to get out of THAT mire soon... I don't need it now. Custom cosplays will open soon as I get that solved. rolleyes

00. Unless Mintaka PMs you from that account, all E-mice related business should go through Moonchilde. Mintaka's PM box gets enough abuse, and we wouldn't want ot lose anything important. 01. Do not steal anything. Art, conept, etc. Nothing. Period. I will not tolerate art/pet theft -- you will pay dearly for that above all other wrongs. Just don't. 02. No Begging. Please, don't whine and beg. It won't get you anything except my irritation and distress. 03. No Trolling/Harassing. This extends both to me and any future staff, and to any visitors to the thread. You have a problem, take it to PM. I will not tolerate harassment of people within my thread - and harassing me is a good way to end up blacklisted. 04. No Altering the cards/art. Do not do any changes on your own. The only people allowed to are me, or Atarashii/Chibizoo. Anyone else is bioled alive if I catch it. 06. No Selling/Giving Away of Pets. Unless I say otherwise, you cannot simply just give away your pets. If you have a really special circumstance, I may allow it, but general selling/trading, no. So, what if I DO RP?You'll have my eternal love, for one. For two, RPers may get additional bonuses, particularly for 'plot' RPs and sometimes just cause I'm bored. 04. It's to be understood Mintaka has been a wandering soul of sorts. It's to be known she keeps some friends among other worlds, and she's peculiar in ways other then this. But to explain how these are here now, requires a little trust in this truth. Mintaka knew of a world called Tachytron, which was high-steeped nito technology. So much so, was Tachytron, that even the life was partly technological - beings of biotech which were living, fleshy bodies yet... energies of electricity and technology. Mind, she knew this world in another life, one which she has little recollection of, aside the fleeting dream-memory she had one day. And on a hunch of something, she went to investigate... What she found almost broke her heart. Tachytron was failing, ailing, and dying. Her friend knew her, simply because even in her 'lifespans' between changes and such, Mintaka's biorhythm was the same. Moonchilde was relieved she ahd come and pleaded for help, aid... not for herself first, no... She gestured, to the mice. All that was left aside herself in this world. Good and evil both, all wishing new lives, to be saved... Mintaka couldn't turn away, and so she took them all, and found a place between Aekea and Barton to set up shop and keep them all safe. While many also roam free in safe places, there are some who are born or were waiting to be born. And you, my friend, are helping us save these wonderful little creatures. Won't you adopt one? Help us understand them more and help keep them safe and live on? 4laugh

Moonchilde corrects Mintaka's initial information: "While the appearahnce-based differentiations are apt and useabe as demonic and regular, I felt it's itme to correct the small misunderstandings of them. The demonics are in truth "wild" actually - ones untouched by the hands of my people for the most part, and how the mice were once. Thus why they are generally more powerful, and more rugged-looking. Their penchance for evil, malice-like things and problems is due to their more untamed nature, although granted they DO have a natural tendency anyway to cause harm and mischief. Not all are evil, a lot are simply misguided. Note they are not so wild as to be malicious to their keeper - the bond of raising them brings a sense of loyalty and attunement to that person. A properly raised wild/demonic will not be harmful to anyone.
The regulars, or domestics, are those which have been bred and rasied by us, tamed down and made calm and more placate then their wilder, 'demonic' cousins. They are far more friendly and playful, though weaker due to the breeding for plesant traits. Even the domestics have their bad sides as much as wilds have good.
We shall keep the references fo regular and demonic, however this explains the true differences - their origins at any rate. I hope soon to decypher more into how they are, and more proper care procedures in this world. The differences from Tachytron to here are astounding and the technologies widely varied. You'll find my notes appearing much like this later on around as well."Some common traits between both types are: Diet: E-mice subsist on metal parts and electricity. Don't let them chew on power cords or they'll short the appliance! They may occasionally nibble on metals, so keep your jewelry safe from youngins. They prefer electricity over metal, but both will do. Activity Cycle: E-mice are active any time of day or night, often in sync with their owners. They don't aprticularly need sleep unelss they're low on electricity/metal intake, in which case they rest to recharge their internal batteries. Love: E-mice, although gendered, do not specifically require opposite genders to procreate. Technoenergies between 2 E-mcie will combine to create offspring, hence generally there are limits as to how many times one can breed. While they do not have to amte for life, mating for life generally ensures more children, and also creates a special bond between two mice that allow them to eb ore sensitive towards the needs and problems of the other. This is a treasured thing. Markings: The markings on an E-mouse - not colors, but the different shaped marks on the arms, legs, and sides - exist for a reason. I have finally discovered their purpose, which was not obvious in our home world of Tachytron. They absorb ambient energies from light and air around them - a back-up source when they cannot find metal to digest into energy, or direct eletrical supplies. In Tachytron there was energy freely available and it was not obvious they were absorbing it through there... here, it is. They can absorb static electricity and solar energy for certain and other types of energy possibly too!Males:Regular: Tend to be more physical, usually taking on tasks which require activity. Protective and defensive, they will likely protect the mate and kdis in a situation. Demonic: Tend to eb more intellectual, cunngin and thoughtful creatures. Although stronger thenr egulars, they don't take on tasks unless it suits them. Females:Regular: Tend to be intellectual and prefer to nuture and care, and study, more then do physical tasks. Demonic: Tend to eb more physical, agressive, although will have a maternal instinct for children. Possessive and defensive, and willing to back that with force. Regulars During the 'egg' stage, the consciousness of the mouse is developing and interactions with people help the bond grow. These are in fact alive, but unable to do much aside 'observe', hear, and feel what touches them. This is an important phase of life, and they spend roughyl a week in this form before they go on to the next stage. As children, they are now capable of thought and movement, and are learning how to communicate. Early in childhood they will often gesture and make noise but will quickly learn how to speak. They will devour any information they can get through any means - by reading, being tld, seeing pictures, etc. - they love to learn! Males tend to be more physical, females intellectual although during this phase they may try other things. They spend about 2 weeks in this phase. As adults they settle into their roles, and in the wild would form small communities. Under the care of humans this is not needed, although they will still interact with each other for needs sometimes, and for friendship. Adults havea wide range of eprsonalities and habits and still seek further knowledge. They are curious still, even as adults, but have a high intellect as well and a certain finesse with fussy electronics too. Demonics Although roughly the same size as a regular's egg, demonic eggs look diffferent enough to make distinguishing them easier. They're also often warmer to the touch, but not uncomfortably so. They'll spend roughly a week like this learning about their surroundings and such as regulars do. As children, demonics are much the opposites of regulars in their aspects and behaviors, aside their thirst for knowledge. The females will often get into mischeif phsyically while males may pull pranks with tricky thought to them. They are slightly larger then regular children, although nto always malicious. They have a certain oblivious innocence to them at first which grows into planned harmfulness. Still, they will not go so far as to cause death or permanent injury unless their life is threatened. Now adults, they are fully grown into their place, and often more mischevious and devilish then they wre as kids. The males will often have snide commentary and mindgames to pull on others while females will likely torment physically. They are larger then regulars but not overly so. They are more likely in a fit of rage to destroy something, but usually keep a level head enough not to unless hurt, trapped, or threatened majorly - they know when too much si too much and like to stay out of trouble while pushing the envelope. Sizes Please note that for children and adults, it's while sitting to the tops of their heads, sans ear-fins. It's also a rough guide to length when they lay/walk on all fours. RegularsEgg: 5-6" Child: 1-2' Adult: 2.5-3' DemonicsEgg: 5-6" Child: 1.5-2.5' Adult: 3.5-4' Generally the females are slightly larger then males in both types, but there's no real difference for that anyway. They're both roughly the same in all aspects, aside the fact one gender tends to be more physical and thus, often slightly stronger.

All E-mice have an assistant to help them, and as children, guide them. Upon purchase of a mouse, you must select the type of assistant [and some colors for it]. Below are the 4 types.
KittopKittops are spunky little critters, and tend to add influences of curisoity and laziness. They're resourceful and tricky too, and often a good source fo random information. They can be playful and perky, though like to nap a lot too.
OwlpodOwlpods are music-lovers, and inspire musical natures in E-mice. They are very wise, caring, and observant. They bring out traits of intelligence and secrecy. Quiet and often unobtrusive, the Owlpod enjoys both silence and sound.
PlakePlakes are devious, sneaky, and mischief-oriented. Although they bring out traits of quick thinking, they alternately bring out the trait of negativity and deviousness. Still, Plakes tend to bring out a higher agility in their companion mice, and also tend to be the ones to think themselves out of traps and problems.
TabbitTabbits bring out the artsy nature of their companions although alternately bring out a certain nervousness or shyness in them. Still, the tabbit is a good solid companion, and often the most caring and nuturing of them all. Tabbits are a little skittish around others sometimes but are very loyal. Please note future SEs may come with a pre-determined Assistant designed specifically for the SE. Otherwise you gain choce as noted above.

Breeding can occur between any 2 mine, male or female, as it's more an exchange of energy into the vessels then actual procreation. If two are RPed through their formation of love and hold a bond, the resulting number fo kids will typically be MUCH higher then just two mating otherwise. The children often will have traits of the parents, however sometimes one may manifest different traits. Demonic/regualrs will produce mroe regular then demonics, and demonic/demonic may on rareoccasions produce a regular. Regular/Regular will always produce regular - although there's an extremely low chance a demonic MAY occur. Generally a mating will result in 2 mice, sometimes 3 - and a couple in love and strongly bonded together as mates will produce 3-4. [And on really rare occasions a 5th may happen... but this is HIGHLY rare.] A E-mouse may only have children once per month, and only have up to 3 matings ... unless we find a way to circumvent the loss of energy or something... Exceptions to the 3 breedings are S gen and certain dtermined specials. Please see the main breeding thread for the specific sets/ID numbers allowed extra breedings. Breeding Thread in the GuildShort version: * Any gender pairings will do! * Once per month per mouse. * Thee matings per mouse. * The more love, the more kids. * Demonics will produce more demonics, regualrs will almost always produce regulars and demonic/regualr will produce regulars with a higher chance of a demonic. * Kids come out with traits like parents, with occasional variances. * Gen S get 1 more breeding then others, so 4 instead of 3. * Certain sets/specials gain an addition breeding ability as well. Cost: 5000 - 2500 from each parent. [Or 5k from you if you happen to own both.] What happens to the kids?*under reconstruction* Basically you'll get 1/3rd back from a flatsale fo unwanted eggs. If I wanted a kid worthy enough for auction you'll get 1/3rd of the proceeds back. Same if I chance to raffle. I'll decide how the kid gets sold hwoever, if you don't want it. GuildThe guild can be found here, and owners are encouraged to join. Item shop ordering, breeding requests, etc. and more RP can be found there, and you're alowed to make pet journals as well if you like. Also, there may be guild-member only special events. 3nodding Where can I RP?The quild has a main RP thread for RP, which will be cleaned up and organized more, and also eventually introduce plots and stuff. RP there also may earn you perks. I'd love it if you RP'd there, and chattered on about OOC here. ninja Do I exist in this world?Yes, you as the owner do exist, although you do NOT have to be with your mouse 24/7. But owners and non-owners alike are allowed in the main RP thread to interact with the mice. Non-owners who'd like to own one are encouraged to take part and be active - who knows what it could get you... Roleplay Rules01. No godmodding. No controlling other people/their pets without permission. This means don't come to me if you see person A controlling person B's thing... if you're neither A nor B. I only want to hear about things from the party actually being used, since some people may want/allow someone certain control of actions, and that's between them. Generally though try to make such matters clear. When in doubt, ask. 02. E-mice are not godly. Though they have quite good recovery, this does not prevent death from absolutely foolish things. Do not abuse their phsyiology; that's just unfair to me especially. Also, they do not cast insane magics; actually, they don't use magic really unless otherwise stated. They're consdered a magical race because they are neither flesh nor machine, but they do not inherently use magic. However, they're rather crafty and smart to learn nromal tricks and such, and gain skills in such things as arts and repair. 03. The IC/OOC Clause. Just because two E-mice don't get along ... doesn't mean that the owner hates you. If one mouse takes it on themselves ot be a bully on yours, that doesn't mean the owner hates you and wants to beat YOU up. Keep IC stuff IC and OOC things OOC. If you don't like someone, that's fine, but keep that out of the thread, and try not to make the same prejudices ICly as you might have OOCly. stare Mostly this clause was to remind people that IC things are NOT OOC reflections of feelings; if I were to RP one fo my characters hating someone, it doesn't mean I personally do. Let's try to remember that... and not let IC stuff become OOC dramatics. 04. Avoid the Drama. If you have rpoblems, take it up to me in Moonchilde's PM box. Don't start a three page long fight in my thread over right and wrong over pets. Or something personal. I don't midn talking about things, but we don't need to make a big dramatic show of emotions. Calm, rational. I hate drama and if people are causing it, you can expect to be on my watched list, excessive rama upsetting lots of people will earn you greylisting [or blacklisting if it gets bad enough]. Please; I get drama enough elsewhere in my life, I don't need it here. IC drama has a time and place, but let's NOT overkill on that. 05. Have Fun. Please... this is about fun. But, if you are causing a lot of not-fun for everyone else... I will have to step in. This slightly goes with the above IC drama comment; if your drama is seriously putting a lot of people off, I may have to step in. I want this fun for everyone. If you have an idea, and one that especially will affect others, please bring it up with me with a PM to Moonchilde; I'll be happy to review something you've come up with. I just want to make sure everyone's able to be happy with things. 06. Keep it Clean. Not that this should be the last thing to say, but perhaps it'll stick best here. Remember this is Gaia and we DO have PG-13 rules. I don't want to see any sex at all, in any form. I shouldn't HAVE to say it, but I want to be extra sure we all understand that. Keep the gore down, to none. If I feel you're crossing a line I will contact you/tell you. If I see it again after that... so help me you will not like it. Rules may be modified as needed.

Go Here!------------- Growing Related ItemsA trade for 100g per chip purchased should be sent to Mintaka with the number of the mouse in question in the trade title, as well as a thread request. This chip will stop the growth of a child E-mice and will keep the mouse in a permanent childhood until removed. To have it removed, simply follow the same procedure as before with a title of remove and thread request. Once the chip is removed, the mouse will immediately grow. Remember, only adults can breed.
