We also have new certs, the pink swirly ones that are in about half the owner's list. If you would like your ava re-certed to the new certs, please post in the thread and send a trade of 500g to this account.

I also updated the rules, for the better, no worries.

Breeding and Items should be comming around JULY along with a flatsale.

You can still RPee in the guild...even though I have no axcess to it on this account...I might make a new one after all these sales, ANYWAYS, I highly encourage RPee IN THE THREAD AS WELL. The more you RPee the more bonuses you get, quicker growings, rewards, make me feel like I should hold more events.

It's been just a little over a year since a horrific fire (later coined the 'New Year's Blaze') wiped out nearly all of Avaranth Island and most of it's animal inhabitants. The smoke and flames from the fire were so overwhelming, they were able to be seen for miles around and people on the mainland caught sight of them almost instantly. However, sadly enough, many people had neither the means or the courage to jump in and play saviour to this graceful species.

Throughout two days of blistering heat and thick smoke, one by one, the Ava Raji began to die off.

However, as we all know, every cloud has a silver lining, and this story is no exception. Through the blinding ash and soaring flames, a soaring Flaeyme in her own right turned a page in the history books.

Dr. Pink and her crew of ecological conservatists risked their lives with donated equipment and vehicles and made emergency drops of personel spanning the whole entire island. They scoured the landscape, leaving no stone unturned, no hole undug, no cave unexplored. Some worked night and day, not sleeping straight through the search, until they could barely walk anymore. Dozens of volunteers flowed in on extra transports, lending a hand to comb the island for any signs of life. Within days, Pink's crews had rescued nearly 15 adult Ava Raji's who had been trapped, and even a clutch of eggs that would have been hopelessly doomed had these saints not given their time and lives to save them.

Within months, all of the surviving Ava Raji had caring homes with residents of Gaia, and the Ava's were rehabilitated, some even being blessed with the chance to pass down their genes and parent new families of pups here on the mainland. The Ava Raji's populations soared under the protective wing that is Dr. Pink's preservation center.

It may seem as if the journey is over now. The island itself is ready to be repopulated, all of the flora and fauna having been replenished by the Dr.'s caring staff and troupe of dedicated owners. However, there's more to the story about to unfold as we speak...

The time has come for the Ava Raji to prepare for life on their own once again. Within the year in captivity, the Ava Raji's powers and callstones have grown stagnant, leaving the good Dr. with a diversity problem on her hands... For months now, it seems as if all Ava Raji are increasingly becoming just like every other Ava Raji... Markings and builds are still as diverse as they always were, but repeated skills and stones are becoming an all too often phenomenon.

It's your mission now, should you accept it, to help Dr. Pink and her staff to breed down unique bloodlines and to diversify these beautiful creatures and help adapt. It's time for the Ava Raji to return to the glory and strength they once held, and for them to rise above their disadvantages and learn new skills and abilites so that they may exist on their own, should the need ever arise...

3. Please don't harass other owners about how to get an Ava Raji, or pester them for an egg. They'll do what they please with them, if you want your own, come to the thread and find out how to get one yourselves.

4. No power gaming. No one likes a twink folks.

5. Before participating in a flatsale or auction, please make sure to read all text in the first post of this thread, and read all instructions in the thread that the sale or auction is taking place in. It'll save you time and aggravation later. <3 Any information you need for an auction (like if i'm taking items or not, autobuy, length of auction, etc.) can ALL be found in the auction thread itself.

7. Along with all sales, don't bid/participate unless you have the funds. If I know you well enough and we work out a deal BEFORE hand to get some funds now and some funds later, that is alright, but believe me, that will only happen a VERY few ammount of times.

8. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT STEAL THE ART. That'll land you an automatic greylisting. Ameh worked very hard on the art, and many staff will be working hard at coloring it. It'd make us all pretty pissy if someone just came along and snatched an Ava up, claiming it to be their own.

9. These are NOT RP required pets. There will be quests later down the road, which will be optional. After you win/buy/are given an egg if you never RP again, it's not my perogative. (However, I'm really hoping that some people will stick around for RP) You're Ava Raji will still grow at a semi normal rate if you don't RP, but when rp'd, Ava Raji have a tendency to grow a bit faster. Also, there will eventually be an elder stage, that will only be availible to those who dedicate some time into RP.

10. The more you RP the more you will be able to go on special quests/events later on and the more likely to win prizes, I believe in bribing my owners!

11. If you have any questions, please first post them in the thread, if Dr. Pink or one of the women behind her don't answer you within a few days, you can then PM us.

12. And most of all, please remember to have fun and enjoy your time here. That is, after all, what I created the Ava Raji for!

Fire Callstones
Amber - A softer more subdued hue of it's element, Amber bearing Ava Raji's are smooth and gentle yet still retain their natural firey passion for life. Amber Ava Rajis carry a hidden flame inside their hearts, rather then in their acts or courage. You can expect an Amber Ava Raji to enjoy a warm night in front of a fire place and lots of cuddling. They are the romantics of their element.


Ruby - Agressive and bold, Ruby bearing Ava Raji's always fight their own fights, whether they're right or not. Everything they do is intense and focused. You can expect a Ruby Ava Raji to constantly be on the watch for a new struggle to get tangled up with, and to always be on guard for themselves and those they care for. They are noble and fierce to the very end.


Obsidian - Black and rough around the edges, Obsidian is a glassy and strong stone. Obsidian bearing Ava Raji's are no different. Ava Raji's blessed under this stone are a bit drawn back and antisocial, not by choice though, by nature. Their manners are unfinished and incomplete, they rely only on their instincts to get them through. Obsidian Ava Raji's are very independant, but given the right attention and care, they will form a bond with their owner stronger than most are capable of.


Garnet - Those blessed with Garnet callstones are the more subdued and seductive of the Fire element. They are easy going, and warm at heart, with a very sensual and deep passion for life in general. A Garnet's main motivation in life is to love and be loved, and they will go to any lengths to achieve this, including eliminating any distractions in tricky and manipualtive ways... However, once they get what they are after, they almost always settle down, and grow into a deep bond with those they care for.


Earth Callstones
Jade - Ava Raji's goverened by the callstone of jade are very maternal and protective of those they care about. Their main goal is to nurture and teach those that need a guiding light. Jade Ava Raji's spend most of their time watching over younger pups and preparing them for life on their own. Female Jades are well known for having several of their four litters of pups one after another after another, to keep all the pups around the same age while they grow.


Tiger Eye - Tiger Eye Bearing Ava Raji's are very focused and calm individuals. They are the intellectuals of the breed. Highly logical and very well thought out, they are capable of many tasks and are very good at problem solving. They can come off as a bit stuck up sometimes, but it's only because they appreciate intelligence so much that anything lacking it is a automatic no in their book. These Ava Raji's have no time for play and fooling around. They are very serious and get straight to the point.


Malachite - Those Ava Raji's bearing the callstone of Malachite are very lazy and easy going at heart. These Ava Raji's are most commonly found lounging around in their environment, enjoying their surroundings. Malachite Ava Raji's are very asthetic creatures and require much beauty surrounding them in their home to be happy. They are also the matchmakers of their race, always finding a way to get even the most unlikely Ava Raji's united as a pair.


Jasper - Jasper bearing Ava Raji's are ALWAYS on the go. There isn't a still moment with one of these bottle rockets around. With any athletic task, or any feat involving stregth, they are on it immeadiatley like a hyena on a two day old carcass. They can be very competative, which can be good or bad depending on the situation, but with their strength and determination, it's likely that they participate in the "I WON!" victory dance ALOT. However, their owner must take care to teach these Ava Raji that winning isn't anything, lest they grow to be spoiled and overly arrogant.


Wind Callstones
Blue Lace Agate - a playful creature, a Blue Lace Ava Raji is constantly seeking attention from its partners and friends in odd ways. As fickle in attitude as any of its element, a Blue Lace Ava Raji lives more for the moment than for any set reason. Yet it loves well and swiftly, rarely doing any a harm that it knows of. Any who keep company with a Blue Lace Ava Raji must swiftly become accustomed to keeping it entertained for short stretches of time, lest it wander away.


Sodalite - A stone shot through with pale veins, the nature of the Sodalite Ava Raji follows in its temperament. At once kind and gentle, it is also a beast to those it dislikes and very changeable. This is not because it does not know its own mind. Simply that its heart has changed and it must follow. Despite that, once a Sodalite Ava Raji chooses someone to be loyal to, they generally stick around.


Hematite - dark and brooding, these Ava Rajis prefer to be left with their human, or to themselves. They are absurdly loyal to one human, and one only. It is fortunate that they are willing to be so bound to one person, as their temperament is inclined to destroy anything that they dislike. If it were not for that bond, many Hematite Ava Rajis could ruin the area they live in. To their credit, they never release what sort of power they hold. It is their human's responsibility to teach them that.

Moonstone - Moonstone Ava's mysterious and majestic, always conveying themselves in a cryptic manner.They are intelligent, but in a strange and misunderstood manner, most likely very confusing to anyone that ventures to communicate with them. It's not at all uncommon to find them speaking riddles once they pick up a language. However, one must pay close attention, because everything these mystic Ava's say always has a deeper meaning behind it...


Water Callstones
Aquamarine - Annoyingly playful, these Ava Rajis find it hard to understand not everything that catches their fancy is theirs, and not everyone appreciates their jokes. It's not uncommon to be completely drenched by one of the Aquamarine Ava Rajis. It is however, extremely uncommon to find one who understands that someone is angry for it. Even their friends are not safe from the nature of these Ava Rajis.


Iolite - These Ava Rajis choose not to socialize for the most part, enjoying quietness and solitude. They are fiercely loyal to their loved ones, but even for them and to them rarely speak, preferring to let their actions do the talking. Because of this, when an Iolite Ava Raji opens its mouth, all stop to listen. Many Iolites take advantage of their reputation to be lazy as well as wise.


Opal - Opal Ava Rajis are narcisstic in their ways, yet extremely intelligent. They are animals that demand to be spoiled, and often are, usually for their beauty and ability to turn a charming phrase. No poets amongst them, they rely on their quick wits and word dancing to keep the people they know happy, rarely choosing to muss their fur by fighting. When it comes to romance, they need someone with high energy that will be able to keep up and pay them as much attention as they believe they deserve.


Sapphire - Sapphire Ava's are on the more artistic side of things, being very adept at picking up musical tones of any kind, and even having a good sense for design in the way they choose their mates and their homes. Thier brains are configured to always think on the creative side of things, and they can normally come up with a million things to keep busy with on their own, rather then relying on others for entertainment. However, with the talent comes a curse. Like all artists, Sapphire Ava's sometimes fall victim to bouts of depression and loneliness, and struggle almost constantly with feeling that they don't belong anywhere.


Spirit Callstones
Diamond - Diamond bearers are strong willed, and are hardly ever swayed in their opinions or ideas. They posess a VERY strong moral backbone, and NEVER deviate from that. They hold their values and their morals very high, and it's hard to ever get them to change their mind on something. Once they have their heart set on something, it's set forever.


Pearl - Pearl's are daydreamers, constantly sparkling with an iredescent glimmer of hope. They are easy going, and full of love for almost any one they meet. However, most often they end up feeling rather lonely, and are always trying to reach out. Sometimes they have low self esteem, but once someone takes the iniative and pays attention to them, they latch onto that person very strongly and form a very strong bond of trust.


Glass - Glass Ava Raji's are a bit delicate emotionally, but bond very easily to just about anyone. They wear their hearts on their sleeves, and trust anyone until given a reason not to. But being that they take after their callstone, Glass Ava Raji's are most times easily broken and their feelings are hurt rather quickly, sometimes over nothing. They require alot of patience and understanding from their owner, and ALOT of social interaction with others.


Geode - Geode's are the only occurance of twins, and resemble the concept of Yin and Yang through to the core. One of these twins is an extreme of certain traits, while the other will be the complete opposite. So while one may be smart and lazy, the other may me a little dim and very energetic. It all depends on the pair. Out of all Ava Raji's they are the rarest and most dynamic forms of these animals. They must never be seperated however, since they rely so strongly on eachother's support and spirutal presence. Therefore, they must be owned by the same person, and kept in close proximity to eachother.

Original concept created and launched by me, under the account ~Flaeymes~ in late January of last year. All writings, adaptations to the stories, rules, ideas, themes and such are therefore (c) me, unless otherwise stated.

All lineart, both vintage and new, (c) Ameh 2004-2005. Please do not steal her art, or i'm sure she will hunt you down and collect your head for a pretty christmas tree ornament. Certs and most color are (c) me, with the exception of the shading layers. The shading layers were graciously done for me by the great and all knowing Otsune, and are continually used with her permision. Any other colorists beside me will be noted on the certificates.

Callstone images were obtained from a gemstone reference/sales site called Fire Mountain Gems. They are no longer in business, or I would provide the link. It was however stated that their images are free to be used as display in any public manner.
