Twinkle twinkle, little star...

~ Welcome, to the StarDust Facility, an area where Dustling Dragons (or Dusts for short) are harvested, raised, and bred. You wish to know the story~? Certainly.

When a wish is made upon a star, it stays with the star until it falls. When the falling star shoots across the sky, it trickles dust down into our atmosphere. Our Facility set itself around the area where the magical, shimmering piles of dust seem to be attracted to, so we could study it further.

However, after each lovely little pile of StarDust was collected and watched over by a lab assistant, something completely unexpected happened. After just a few days of love and attention, a little feathery head would pop out of the dust, yawn, and cry for food. This sent the assistants into a panic, until they realized they could do no harm to their "mommies".

The lab assistants also realized the little feathery dragons would grow, and grow, and grow, until they were the size of Great Danes. The piles of powder gathered all over the "gardens" of the Facility, and we soon had to turn commercial and sell the piles off to worthy owners of the new "pets". However, each owner would be strongly urged to try and decipher what the wish was that gave their Dustling life.

__5:14 I believe every single Dustling has grown to their next stage. Also, to counter my dwindling bandwidth, I will be removing older Dustlings' links from the owner list and deleting them from my photobucket account. If you haven't been following my "only direct-link until adulthood" rule, your Dustling will vanish. If I like you, I'll reupload it for you so you can save it first, if you haven't. xp
EDIT1: Ithiltari helped me out for a Custom, so now I'll be moving all my images over to a new host.
EDIT2: Annnd Prolixity colored a beautiful male Dustling and all of its stages, so it'll be auctioned soon.
__5:10 Some various grow-ups will happen throughout the day.
__5:8 Happy Mother's day. X3 Mother's day event is over, and the winners have received their dusts.
__5:6 The Mother's Day event will be held tomorrow, and the winners decided on Sunday. The event will consist of an RP prompt related to Mother's Day, and three Dusts will be up for grabs. The winner of the RP prompt must pay 2.5k for the Dust if they win. Each person may only win one, and must specify which one they want if they win before RP'ing. And, of course, you could enter to buy the Dust for someone else (as in a Gaian mother if you wanted. xp )

__4:28 Aeth and Auriel had some beautiful dusts as a result of their breeding-- two of which were winged. 0_0 I also finally added the Item Shop, it's in the Roleplaying post at the bottom.
__4:27 Flatsale is now over! It went by pretty quick. I hope the Dusts went to good owners.
__4:26 Flatsale tomorrow. It'll be different than normal, however. It won't be based on speed, and only people who have one or no Dustlings can try for one.

Flatsales:
Next scheduled: Memorial Day weekend (Sat or Sun).
~ Piles of dust sold during flatsales will be 2.5k each. This price is subject to change, but probably won't by too much. Every StarDust pile is uniquely colored, and although the powder may look the same as a past powder, the powder will not usually tell you what type of markings it has. It's a surprise, really. smile
-You must pay within 24 hours.
-Flatsale types may vary.
-Your pet will grow up in due time, never PM me about it.
-I'll get it tagged asap, don't bug me about that either. XP

Auctions:

-If more than one Stardust is being auctioned at a time, you may bid on both.

Breeding:
~ We have finally discovered how Dustlings breed. The Roleplaying section has a report on it. If your Dustlings are in love, they may breed if a slot is open.
-Breeding costs 6k.
-One must be a male, and one a female.
-Only adults may breed.
-Related Stardusts may not breed.
-If each parent belongs to a different owner, they must each pay half the fee.
-Breeding will result in 2-4 dusts. If the parents belong to the same owner, the owner may not keep more than 2 of the bred Dusts. If the parents belong to two different owners, they may each keep 1 and sell 1 if there's 3 dusts produced, or they may each keep 2 if 4 are produced. If you don't understand, I'd be glad to explain it. :]
-Dusts can be sold (I will do it!) but I'd like 30% of the sale. No ridiculous sale prices please-- nothing more than 8k for now. (Special dusts excluded.)
-If you want to do an RP prompt sale, I'm free to discuss it with you. ^ ^
-You may let people bribe you. XD
-Dusts can be given away to friends.

~ If there aren't any flatsales, or you desire a Dustling of specific colors, you may buy one here. I will not do lineart edits, but you can be as detailed in the description as you wish-- just, be specific, I don't want to mess it up. :3
NEW: I will now have a new custom system. If you want a custom, in any stage, (dust, child, adult, etc), it will cost two sealed envelopes of the current month (or 12k gold). Customs will usually always be available now-- but keep in mind, if I get too many, I may close customs or increase the price.

Customs can take anywhere from 2 days to a week and a half to complete, depending on free time, difficulty, and stage it begins at.

Pet Trade Policy:
