7/03/05 :: Apologies to everyone, I've had all kinds of fun little problems crop up and posting-related issues to the guild that have made continuing the expedition slightly more then difficult, combined with random RL stuff coming down left and right [culminating this past friday with the passing of one fo my grandmothers] which has made thought process a little weird. Also I've been trying to completely revamp the front - in wordpad.

What I'm looking to do is the following for the shop:

** Completely revamp ALL the info regarding Plushikats - more about what they are, origins, abilities, etc.
** Revamp the rest of the shop into a more cohrent format.
** Redo the Plushie stage to have better/thicker lines.
** Tweak the existing lineart since I really don't like the current child/adult and could try to smooth it out better.
** New species of Plushikat - different wing types.
** A certain plot point in the Expedition's art. [[Which was/is giving me fits.]] This fits into future stuff as well.
** A few key kats we'll be seeing in the plot.
** Some other assorted details, including the possible hiring of a few more colorists, even if part time or random sendings.

Plushikats was my first solo flight as a shop, and it shows painfully compared to some of my more recent endevours. Granted, I took this up on a whim without a full direction and it's come together at last, and I need to actually rip apart all this and make it work. I really want to redo the adults into something better, add new types, etc.

I will continue the Expedition through all this -- if I can finally get that post through. *kicks Verizon* I've had crappy net which has made posting difficult lately, and my infinite wisdom prevents me from copying 90% of my posts before I lose them. I'm too trusting I think in that regard. *behind on other journals too*

I also put a temp pause on the Expedition because a lot of people were MIA and was waiting to see fi I would recieve further replies. Apologies to thsoe who were still waiting.

Here's to a better future! heart I expect to re-redo the graphics again, keep the current certs with a minor change, and try to revitalize all my information and kick the expedition back in gear.

I'd really like to do a sale soon as well if I can get the plot up to that point. ninja Colorists: I need you to PM Plushikats in regards to what you want to do. Continue, quit, guest, etc. - Those who want to stay, I will get the new plushie linearts out ASAP. I may be sending PMs out as well so I can get a cohesive collection of information. @_@ Because I LOST my damn notes somewhere. *pissed* I had all my jewelkat stuff, etc. and it's gone. Far as I can tell anyway. Might have been saved elsewhere, but it's nowhere in sight... don't think someoen else got it, but mrf.

I'm really hoping to kick this shop back in gear - I love this shop and adore it, and it really deserves better. I'm trying, it's just been hard to get what I want out regarding this - seems when I get aspirations, someoen dumps ice water on me. Keep positive and let's kick butt. See you in the guild!

5/08/05 :: Expedition has Started! -- please make sure you've applied at the sign-up thread and are cleared before you join in, but everyone, including non-owners who'd like to be owners, are welcome. blaugh

5/02/05 :: Links changed along with the growings. All changes have been done to the owners list... though no one should need the new links aside aquiring their adults if I don't get to uploading on Photobucket. Will keep PB for a few things. Plot starts soon!

How the Plsuhikats came to be is largely unknown. Mintaka first quired them by chance from a stranger who sold them to her - a certain select amount of plushies that were simply cute. Little did she know they'd come to life!

Since the day Liarenne and others came to life, Mintaka has been trying to unravel the mysteries surrounding the kats. She nver did find the man who sold them to ehr again, so she's pretty much been having to divine the answer sthrugh other means; and succeeded to a degree. She found the homeworld but...

Things were amiss. As far as it's known, somehow, some way the kats reverted into plushies because of some major event back then! However, Mintaka's hesitent to go into the world alone, but doesn't want to risk others. However... the trip will happen. And maybe then we'll really know why the kats exist.
