Regardless of faction or stage, your boy(s) receive a
letter, text, or even a courier pigeon if they are particularly
hard to find in Diamonds. It says only that they are cordially
invited on a field trip through all four of the factions, to meet
each leader and complete a workshop. The trip will be led by
Ecstasy, the Clubs faction head. Anyone familiar with Ex
is probably a little skeptical at this point: how can he keep it
together long enough to marshal a slew of infants?
He'll likely have some help! ... We hope. ♠๑♦๑♧๑♡〗WHAT'S HAPPENING?〖♡๑♧๑♦๑♠
xxx♠Consider this an introductory metaplot chapter.
xxx♡While the events are important, it will not be quite as plot-changing as later chapters.
xxx♦This is a casual intro because most of us have infants...! But hopefully this will help with growth.
♠๑♦๑♧๑♡〗The Dates〖♡๑♧๑♦๑♠
xxx♠From June 11th to June 19th, everyone will be invited to participate, including quest characters.
xxx♡If someone can't participate in all of the days (which is acceptable!) you can assume that Ecstasy and co. have attached your napping kid to a harness and dragged them along, so you can jump back in at any point.
xxx♦June 11th-12th: Clubs Faction, to meet Ecstasy, have snack-time and head out.
xxx♧June 13th-14th: Heart Faction, to meet Garnet and her attendants, and play some games in her garden.
xxx♠June 15th-16th: Spades Faction, a ??? day and some kind of ... survival challenge?
xxx♡June 17th-18th: Diamonds Faction, to meet... the faction head! This point on the itinerary appears to be smudged out, so it's kind of hard to guess what they have in store...
xxx♦June 19th: The finale.♠๑♦๑♧๑♡〗The Prizes〖♡๑♧๑♦๑♠
xxx♠Instead of awarding normal RP points, the Meta will give anyone participating a special boost.
xxx♡The point bonus will be announced after the meta has wrapped up.
xxx♦Are you familiar with the Cheshire Cat? The Jabberwock? These are "named characters," but players can win one too...! At this event, the first player-owned "named character" will be gifted to an outstanding participant.
xxx♧There will also be "achievements" to unlock, though you won't know what they are until you unlock them, and a GM will let you know! For example, participants who post in all four factions and participate at least a bit in the finale will unlock an extra character slot. Yay!♠๑♦๑♧๑♡〗I Want to Play!〖♡๑♧๑♦๑♠
xxx♡All you have to do is post the following form here, at any point during the meta! You'll be tallied for participation starting the day you submit it, though obviously you can't really get meta-participation points until it starts...!
