JR sighed heavily, and looked around, deciding that, ultimately, it was better to get this over with. That being said, he didn't care to have a battle with his pokemon in the middle of a crowd. He moved off, between two stands to linger in the grounds behind them, looking down at the swampy, muddy ground. He couldn't help but wonder if they'd had fire types help dry things up where the tents were placed to make them a little more... sturdy. Or maybe they just had psychics holding them up. Either way, the muck sucked his shoes with each step, and kept his balance on point as he tried to avoid slipping, moving only a few feet before grabbing Wesley's pokeball, and beginning to cut off the tape. He was going to regret this....

Even though they'd gone to a new area there was little variety to the games available, which shouldn't have been a surprise considering that'd been the case upon transitioning from the entrance to the story lane. It was still disappointing, however, at least for Rotom, Jingū was still as happy as a Clamperl, and skipped from one game to the next, without skipping a beat. How she was able to keep up that sort of cheer and newfound wonder was beyond Rotom.

It was a bit of a nuisance, but Rotom couldn't foresee either of them needing to get in contact with the trainer.

Dallas waited as patiently as he could while Naomi milled over the different activities. But, before he could chime in with a snark remark, the pirate pointed out a corn maze. "A maze, huh? Sounds like a kiddy game. I mean, that's right up your alley, huh?" He put on a smirk and nudged Naomi's shoulder playfully, but nevertheless he was down for giving it a go. "Sure, why not? Let's go for it!" Dallas started towards the entrance of the maze, and headed forward.
And with all of his brazen confidence, he led Naomi forward with no real sense of which way to go. All that got him was forced into a dead end. "Aw, hell..." He furrowed his brow, and started to kick at the hay that lined the ground. But, his foot his something. He crouched down and sifted through the hay to find a little plush doll, shaped like a cacturne. "Hey, ain't this cute!" Picking it up and taking a look at it, he found that it was still in pretty good shape for being on the ground. "Finders keepers, losers weepers," he commented. Though Dallas' sense of direction would lead them to plushies, and that was... beneficial too! "No thank you, it might belong to some child." Naomi turned back around, and headed back to the last intersection they'd come across, clearly they'd have to go another way. "If it is possible, you should try and return it to them once we leave the maze."
Ieyasu padded ahead, nose to the ground and ears twitching to pick up any sounds. Naomi followed after, and checked back to make sure they hadn't lost Dallas while simultaneously resisting the urge to sprint ahead himself. At yet another intersection Ieyasu stopped, his nose twitching as he turned his head to the left. He sniffed the air, confirming the scent, then began heading down the trail. It took them a ways back, much farther than either of them expected, but Ieyasu stopped when they reached a dead end, and one Dallas Tucker sitting on a hay bale. "There you are!" Naomi walked over to the male, and with a grin poked his forehead with his sword. "For such a 'kiddy game', you certainly got lost easily," he teased, before offering him his hand. "Come now. You will have to hold my hand until we leave the maze, I can no longer trust you to just follow us."
While Naomi went about scolding his friend, Ieyasu managed to find a pile of tickets, tucked away just behind the hay Dallas had been sitting on. Taking them in his teeth, he pulled them out into the open and presented them to Naomi. "Oh! Thank you, Ieyasu!" He rubbed the Eevee between the ears, a particularly pleasurable spot for him, before taking the tickets and looking up to Dallas expectantly. "Are you ready to continue?"

Azalea nodded as Alex asked if his bulbasaur would get a flower. "Yeah here look." Once they were safely away from all the spooks, Azalea released Rafflesia and adjusted Alex's sheet so that he could peer at her from the small hole. "Ivyyyyy..." Rafflesia yawned loudly and snoozed away on the floor. "Come on ya lazy bum. Walk with us, you could use the exercise." She insisted, nudging the ivysaur with her foot. Rafflesia barely acknowledged her, continuing to snooze soundly until Azalea waved a rare candy in front of her nose. She blinked her eyes open and sniffed, attempting to eat the candy but Az pulled it out of her reach, earning a grunt of disappointment from the grass type. "If you want the candy you gotta walk." Azalea insisted, and with a few grumbles of protest the ivysaur stood and shook herself off, reluctantly following alongside them.
