Quietly, someone picked the coffin up and righted it before closing the lid. The villager wasn't rolled back into it. Instead, Red sat down on the coffin lid and made herself comfortable. Once optimal comfort was achieved, the draconic being pulled a bag of popcorn out from under her cloak and noisily started eating it while watching the events.

"We talked about this," rumbled a giant booming voice that shook the whole cavern, "no funny business. This was probably addressed to someone. Perhaps.
For a moment it felt as if a giant slitted eye filled the entire hole in the cavern before disappearing.

Red held her hands up. One hand, of course, was clutching the bag of popcorn. "Not my fault that I beat you to the last bag of popcorn," she protested innocently enough, "Besides. I did offer but you were all nooo it'll go straight to my thighs."
"The Lord of the Mountains needs none of this popcorn." It sounded affronted. "We watch over all; govern the cosmos in our greatness; we provide; the world tremours in our wake; spiritual beings; divine; us; greater than Ancients."

Hmmm?
Lucille stirred. This was odd…when did she fall asleep? The Reaper did not remember falling asleep but must have done so. Her eyelids were heavy, her mind was rather fogged up and she had the ubiquitous sensation felt by anyone (forcefully awoken by alarm clocks) of wanting to just snuggle back under the sheets for a couple of minutes more.
Something was not quite right.
Perhaps it was something in the air. Or perhaps even the sensation of being enclosed within something. Lucille did not remember being invited into anyone’s home so she had obviously been moved. Then there was the issue of the hard floor.
The Reaper reluctantly got up, head still foggy with sleep. It was only when the monstrous voice boomed over the cavernous room that Lucille was shook out of her stupor.
One last test? Solve the riddle?
Lucille gave an inward groan. Of all the trials and tribulations so far, this had definitely got to be the hardest of all. To put it simply, Lucille was not one who could think out of the box easily and puzzle solving had never been much of her forte. Of course she knew of people who took obviously delight in solving puzzles and riddles and what not but she was never one of them.
Still, the voice had made its objective pretty clear. Unless she wanted a future of being locked away in some remote village, she had better start using her noodle. And fast.
Gingerly Lucille got up and peered about the room. There seem to be other ghouls around. Perhaps visitors and students like her. Briefly the reaper wondered if the two students she had met the other day while whale hunting would be here. Part of her hoped that they will be as the she could definitely use some camaraderie and general out round support.
The sound of rustling paper got the ghoul’s attention and Lucille warily went over to inspect the scattered documents. It appeared that someone had already beaten her too it as there were pieces of torn paper where it stuck to the ground. Of the writing (for there certainly were writings on it), Lucille could only make out a pattern consisting of an incomplete triangle and a number seven written under it. A code? thought Lucille to herself. Well, there was nothing to it but to move on then.
Glancing around, Lucille began noticing signs that other ghouls had also been hard at work at unravelling the cryptic messages that littered the room.

Hollandaise sat on the coffin near Professor Red and, once again, it was not quite apparent how she had gotten there. (It would be safe to assume she had made use of her wooden feet, whose toes were now tracing circles on the ground.) She eyed the professor very, very suspiciously.
"I apologize for interrupting, but is Professor Winter here as well?" There had been strange conversations, but this was no gym. Nevertheless, Hollandaise's eyes darted towards the shadows, wondering if some butler lurked therein.

Where --
Ignatius awoke to find fellow creeple buzzing around him in a room he was unfamiliar with. How did he end up here? Was this another one of those Wonderland things? Or perhaps it was related to when he thought he was a knight...
He rubbed his eyes before coming to his feet with a large yawn. Near his feet was a blank rune. This might be useful, right? Ignatius took it in his hand, turned it over, and moved to figure out what else was going on. There seemed to be a lot of runes which people were trying to match up, with arrows in-between... was that like a greater than or lesser than symbol or something?
Interesting.
Now what was this about a door and why couldn't they just brute force it open?

Aymet replaced those runes back inside his hollow ribcage and procured more for the mechanism. He could do this all day. Partly because he was undead. But that was beside the point.
He did idly note that Professor Red had suddenly showed up, and very grudgingly crossed 'break the door down' off his mental checklist of ways to 'solve the riddle'.

Dekana's ear flicked as he heard the scrape of the coffin as it was righted. He turned his gaze towards it and found a strange figure sitting atop it, with popcorn. Popcorn would be nice, actually... he was kind of hungry.
He walked over and stood before the figure, breaking her line of sight - at least until the cave started talking to her. He waited silently for their conversation to end before he grinned and stepped up front-and-center. "Hey. Would you share that?"
She got in, she could get out, and that meant this whole thing was really... not that serious. It must be a prank of some sort. Dekana decided he was bored with the idea of this and shrugged slightly.
Rei jumped back up, confused. Since when he's...sleeping? No-since when he's here?
A cave? And there's also some Halloweeners shuffling about. What's all this about? He asked one of the various creatures in there, and gets an answer that this, is also another test from the villagers of this place. They will not be able to get out if the puzzle is not solved.
Now. Time to gather some information and think. It seems most of the clues has been figured at the moment he's still asleep, but the crucial solution hasn't been completely formulated.
...this sure makes him 'remember' the incident where a Great Knight imprisons everyone, he chuckled.
Now then. Checking for whatever the room provided, Rei quietly stashed his headphones. [Jack]-ing to the door and looking directly at the answer would not impress the villager, wouldn't it?
