Are you ready for chaos? Mayhem? No? WELL GOOD. It is time for the FINAL TEST OF YOUR PROOF AS A VILLAGER EGGSTRACTOR.
- On top of the highest hill through the highest mountain peak is the rarest of eggs, the Giant Snake egg. If you bring this home, then you have proven your worth as the greatest eggstractor of them all.
Step 1: Climb the mountain - You're already used to this part. Get going! Climb up that mountain and see what you're made of. Oh wait, right, we forgot to mention. The reason why you need a wyvern egg is you have to replace that egg with the Giant Snake Egg you need to get. That way the parent giant snake doesn't notice!
- As you climb the mountain, roll 1d4. Match your dice roll to the result below.
1: You break your wyvern egg! Sorry, you have to obtain another one.. 2. You manage to climb with relative ease. Something watches you in the distance. 3. You trip and stumble but save your egg! -10 HP for your character 4. You accidentally stumble into a giant cloud of miasma! Add +5 to your miasma meter.
Step 2: Replacing the egg
Finally you reach the base of the mountain with a [i 400 foot giant snake guarding its pile of eggs in the center. You must slowly sneak and take the Giant Snake egg, replacing it with the wyvern one. Roll 1d100 to see how quiet you were. If you roll 30 or less, you get eaten. You die and dissipate back to base camp. The good news is you still have your wyvern egg (must start quest again). Otherwise, continue onwards.
Step 3: New egg friend and you
At this point you no longer have your wyvern egg. You only have this Giant Snake Egg. So that means if you destroy your giant snake egg on the way back, you have to obtain a new wyvern egg from the previous eggstraction quest. The giant snake egg has 10 HP.
A pair of very hungry velicoraptor-like creatures seem to have found you and follow the egg hungrily! They have 10 HP. You only need to defeat one to move on (per group!) Every time you or ANYONE in the group rolls double dice (1, 1, 2, 2, etc) you take -2 damage to your egg, otherwise it takes no damage.
At the very end where the base camp is, there is a giant waterfall. You have no choice, you have to jump down! Roll 1d6 to see how much damage your egg takes. Good luck!
If your egg somehow survives, you have DONE IT. Go ahead and collect your prize and drop it off in this thread!
Rarity: Rare Size: 25 feet long (baby snek!) Weight capacity: 2 people max. (No mount/natural forms it gets skittish) Special ability: Is excellent at making impromptu bridges and shelter from cold areas. Sheds rainbow-coloured skin that can be used as waterproof wear. Has impeccable memory - as long as it has been to a place, it knows how to get there. Flying: Cannot fly. Teleportation: Teleports from Miasma Village to Halloween Town only (and vice versa) Temper: Extremely shy. Does not go indoors. Only likes large areas. Will escape through any given opening if the area is smaller than it is.
After a while of trekking around off the base of the mountain he's dropped, Rei begrudgingly climbed another mountain, still looking round because a wyvern egg was still inside his body. Based on the letter, he needed that egg to replace the egg he's going to take.
That being said, climbing a mountain while dragging around an egg is not easy. If anything, it's basically asking him to fail.
He remembered that Puella even brought a bag to contain the egg-should he do that too?
Nah. He can do better. "[Jack]", he plugged the cord into the mountain itself, examining every movement, things and creatures within it.
After confirming a safe path to take, Rei walked up, step by step carefully until he reached the mountaintop lair.
The question is, why did all creatures in this area LOVES to build lairs in mountains???

Carefully, carefully, Rei climbed the mountain. BUT LO AND BEHOLD THE GODDARNED KONCHU sand lobster pops out overhead and crushed the egg he brought in one single, swift strike.

He returned to the final mountain with another wyvern egg, still boiling in rage. Thsi time he already remembered the safe path, so-
*PHSSSSST*! A dark, murky gas suddenly spurted out of some hole, right to his face.
"*cough**cough* What was th-*cough*URK?" Something...is wrong. Something...
"NAH. Nothing wrong." He exhaled sharply, a sharp glint forming at his eyes.

After a while of walking, he arrived at... a cave? Putting down the egg in a safe place to do a quick recon into the cave, he checked for signs of activity-nil.
The weird-looking cave was somehow damp, hot and reeks. The flooring's kinda soft, and there's several ivory-colored pillars standing at the ends of the hallways, just like a mine shaft...
Wait. This is not a cave---this is-
A huge snake's mouth?

With that sound as signal, the Tsukumogami's consciousness faded to black, only to blink back to existence somewhere not too far. "-good thing I left my headphones here." Rei sighed, respawning from the item he left at the cart.
And even better, since the egg was left near the nest he only needs to walk back to the nest unburdened.

Picking up the egg from where it was dropped, Rei rushed back to the nest-
-maybe rushing it too much won't do him that good, since he nearly tripped and broke the egg. Fortunately he was able to harden himself-yet that took some Fear from him.

Now more cautious after getting eaten once (although that was nothing since his real body's left behind), Rei approached the nest with more caution. After turning himself intangible for a bit and watching the movement of the giant snake, he stealthily changed one of the egg with the wyvern egg he brought. That's first step complete.
But no, it's not that easy. As soon as he exited the nest a pair of raptor suddenly jumped on him, nicking the egg in progress. If he chose to fight them here, there's a great risk the noise will awaken the giant snake, so he must first lure them away from the nest!

While making small steps to ensure the pair of raptor does not actually encircle him, Rei moved his arms apart, making a pulling gesture.
It's a good thing that he brought his headphones this time. [Jack]-ing into the ground told him there's an exposed iron veins directly below him, as well as near one of the raptor. Goading them to move to the place of exposed conductor, Rei briefly turned his feet back to electric plasma and shocked them both from below, sending STRANGELY stronger bolt of lightning up their feet.

The raptors are looking anxious. Even if there's a huge treat waiting just in front of them, this unexpected resistance from something not even twice bigger than them-not to mention, doesn't even LOOK that fierce has made them rethink the plan to assault the egg-bearer. Although far from humane level of logic, their large-for-body-size brains continued to turn, taking every piece of information into consideration before making the move-
With a WARK-ing sound, one raptor leaped to the air, trying to pierce through Rei's head; while the other one lowered its stance and aimed for his legs.
But the ghost gives no-sell treatment and simply made his body intangible while retaining the electrical charge of the plasma. Needless to say, the two reptile again received damage enough to char parts of their skin black. Even with all that, the lights in the two's eyes still conveyed the message of their will-eat or to be eaten.

EGG HP: 8 Raptor HP: -2 Damage: 4 to Raptor Unknown to them, all of the ruckus between the three has caused 'something' else residing in that mountain to be awaken. And when it did---
*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* "-!? What is this-"

In a blink, the ground below them splits open, and a gigantic white shadow swallowed the two raptors whole.
"It can't be. That's...a Shadow Serpent!" spat Rei, retrieving the memory of the Knight that he shared. But how can that be? It must be over hundred of years since those things in 'his' memories happened. Also, the Shadow Creatures are supposed to go into the 'Alternate' side of the world-So why there's one in this 'side'?
Yet there's no time for such detailed analysis. The creature's crimson-colored eyes has caught Rei's form and started hissing. The fact that he just stole one of its egg made it even angrier-he can almost see silver-colored smoke being expelled from its' mouth.
EGG HP: 8-1 = 7! In front of him, a giant serpent that can swallow him whole. Behind him was a giant waterfall which height appears more than 20-stores building.
If one asked him which to choose, he'll gladly choose the latter. And that's exactly what he did.
But it's not because he didn't have a plan anymore; instead, he has a better choice this way.
Using the plasma inside his body to flash-boil the water creates smokescreen to elude the serpent. Also, in case of it having pit organs, the heat from the evaporated water creates an even better smokescreen.

"EXPLODE!"
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Triggering the separated Hydrogen and Oxygen in the air, he started small explosions at the waterfall which kept their speed relatively low, and for landing a waterspout for absorbing the shock of the fall.
After that, he hid underwater until he can't sense the presence of the Serpent. Thank whatever god here that he didn't need anymore breathing. The egg is also safe-
Another half an hour after the serpent's gone, Rei finally emerged from the waterfall basin, carrying the egg in his hand.
Mission clear-not. At least not until he reached the village again.
