{ S A V E . M E . A G A I N } Amadeo It was a nice evening, clear skies, bright moon, and twinkling stars. Straight out of a post-card. Well, almost. In the distance, there was a fast approaching pale fella, who appeared to be chasing something. "BUTTERFLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! g'back here you little flutterer, i want to see your pretty wings!" He lept and frolicked after the butterfly that desperately wanted to get away from the strange adult that was persuing it. "I'm not going to hurt you! My dad says i'm not the brightest lightbulb but i wouldnt harm a fly! Least not on purpose, but i havent hurt anyone yet, if i did i'm sure someone would have told me. Once my Sister told me i hurt her very existance, but i dont understand how i could do that, i mean it just doesnt make sense, how can i hurt her existance by existing myself? I think she was just trying to confuse me" By this point, he'd sat himself down in the long grass as he babbled on, using his paws to gesture with.
It would most likely be some time before he noticed that his audience wasnt around. And that his sister was watching him, waiting to zap him off to some un-known location. Acerbus The red squirrel like Kitsusagi was skittering along, his tails twitching with each step. Lime eyes darted about, as the little fellow seemed to be looking for something. His furry ears perked up, revealing that the item he appeared to be looking for was one of his six ear rings. How exactly it had fallen off was yet to be known. It was then that a familliar voice drifted into the male's ears.
The squirrel like male froze, his eyes growing wide. "Oh no." he uttered, his gaze leaving the ground to glance about the area quickly. He couldn't let him find out that he was here. He couldn't be seen, but darn it he wanted his ear ring! With another quick glance around he droped to his stomach, attempted to hide his bright orange coat amonst the ground. Amadeo Still, the male babbled on "Once i thought i'd stepped on a spider, i was so scared, thought the little guy was squished, because they're so much smaller then we are, we should look out for them, because its our responsibility as the larger fellas to look out for the little fellas just like the bigger fellas gotta look after us littler fellas, thats what my daddy always says, daddy says alot of things, he's a really smart guy, alot of people look up to him" His 'conversation' carried on a little longer, still un-aware he had no audience to speek of. Unfortunately for the squirelly guy currently hiding in fear, Amadeo had excellent hearing. It might be something to do with being randomly teleported to various times in history. When you have to hear a Veloceraptor coming, you tend to improve your hearing as to avoid becoming lunch.
The salmon colored male stood up, and looked around. He'd heard something, he knew he did, but where was it? He began wandering around. Given how....empty headed he was most of the time, he moved with very little sound. Carrara was to thank for that. Her adventures had honed his skills, without him even knowing. "This is just like that one time when i was in with the teethyteethy's and i was wandering around looking for anyone i knew, when all of the sudden-Oh Hello!" He'd found someone! And not just anyone, his bestest best friend EVAR! "BUSBUS!!!!!! What are you doing here? Are you playing army! Is that why your on your belly, i have a relative who's in the army, we dont see him much becuase he's always away, i didnt think you liked games, just coffee?" His tails wagged in sheer delight. Acerbus The male winced as he was spotted, soon cringing as Amadeo shouted his name. Crap. Crap. Crap. Why was his luck so horrible that he always ran into this guy. He should have just run. Just run off and then he wouldn't have to deal with what he just got himself into. And all this for an ear ring! Was it even worth it? Well yes he did want it back, and those that lived with him knew very well that he was very pirticular about his ear rings and almost clingy to them. His ear ring obsession almost rivaled his flirtatious nature. Which was saying a lot.
"WHAT?!" he shouted, jumping up to look the green haired male in the eye. "No I am NOT playing army! I don't play! EVER!" his eye twitch, but only slightly. His gaze darted to the ground for a split second before returning to the other male's eyeline. He'd find his ear ring and go. Yes. Find it and run, and if his shorter legs couldn't move fast enough he'd just scramble up a tree. Amadeo couldn't climb trees could he? Gosh he hoped not, because having to leap from tree to tree was rather painful majority of the time. Amadeo Amadeo tilted his head to the side "You've never played army? Well you should, its a fun game. Altho with your twitchiness you might get captured or caught alot. I'm pretty sure my cousin would find you a liability or something, but he's nice! And would still take you with him on a mission. As long as it wasnt life or death, i asked to go with him once, but he said it was too important to take me along, so i went and chased a dragonfly, fell right into the pond too! Wasnt paying attention, dad says i do that alot, not pay attention" He nodded, having to finally catch a breath. This guy could talk. For hours. non stop.
The male sat down, his tails swaying softly behind him. "Are you meeting anyone here? or were you just out for a midnight walk? i was following a butterfly, but i found you so its all good. Carrara came with me, but when i started following mr.flutters she decided to lie down somewhere and just keep an eye on me. She's always watching out for me, making sure i dont get into trouble, i never do though, she's just overly paranoid something will happen, least thats what Akasha says about her." He said with a firm nod, then waved to a tree behind Acerbus, where Carrara was watching over her brother. Only glowing red eyes were visible, the rest of carrara was hidden in shadows. Acerbus Acerbus frowned, "No I've never played army. I don't want to play army. Do I look like a baby to you?! --Don't answer that." Oh now he had done it, he was talking back to the crazy one. He always did and it never ended well. Seriously if this kept up he was going to go insane or something, well at least he didn't have to see the guy everyday, and perhaps that what was keeping him from going over the edge. "Pay attention?" he twitched yet again. "Clearly." Amadeo never paid attention to anything as far as Acerbus was aware. After all if he did then he would have noticed that Acerbus did not like him at all, but of course Acerbus was not so lucky in such things. No he was stuck as the idiot's 'best friend'.
Joy.
His ears fliped back as his eyes narrowed. "No I am not meating anyone here and I'm not talking a stupid walk! I'm looking for some- Wait, your sister's here?" All was not lost! The idiot's sister was here. Carrara was here and well, she was one of his favourite female's to flirt with. His attention turned momentarily to where the female was. Lucky her, even that short distance from her brother was still some form of distance. Amadeo & Carrara Amadeo nodded, not registering Acerbus' comments. "I used to play army when i was a kid, takie would play with me, until he got called off to duty, then he'd always say 'no more play time kid, go back to your folks' he always used to say that, still does, just cuz he's a bit older then i am. I'm the youngest of my siblings you know. Mahie's the oldest, Carries older than me, thats why she takes care of me" he said with a big grin and a huge nod. He loved spending time with Acerbus, who was his best friend. There was no clue in his mind, that Acerbus didnt return the feelings, to Amadeo, all was right in the world and Acerbus was as happy to see him as he was.

Carrara could take no more, she padded up behind Acerbus, moving like the wind; hardly heard unless she wanted to be. "Brother dearest, i take care of you, because Father told me if i didnt, i'd be going to live with our cousins." She said sitting beside Acerbus. "Now why dont you go see the new guy's back at the house, i hear there's a fluffy one and something that has a horn" she said with a shrug. Amadeo's face lit up, as he nodded excitedly and dashed off, forgetting his manners in saying goodbye. Acerbus He wasn't listening, though that came to no surprise to the squirrel like male. Even so, Acerbus did not want to hear about all this army talk. Oviously everyone that had met Amadeo knew he was an idiot from all the stories he had told anyways. People were always shooing him away, so why couldn't he? He'd try to get the guy to leave and it would never work and yet it seemed to be that it worked for everything else. What was he, some sort of Amadeo magnet? He certainly hoped not. Maybe it had something to do with the best friend status thing, he wasn't sure he just wanted the guy to leave him alone, you know...forever.
Carrara to the rescue. He had hardly heard he walk up as the female soon took a seat beside him. With a few words he watched as the idiot dashed off, and he quickly turned his gaze to the female. "Well beautiful you've saved me from your brother again it seems." Carrara Carrara chuckled softly, an amused expression upon her features. "I Rescue many from my brother, but you, more then most" An ear flicked as she lied down, red eyes fixing on Acerbus "He really does like you, you know" she said in a mildly surprised tone. She spent alot of time with Amadeo -against her will- and she knew how scatterbrained he could be at times, but she could tell even the absentminded brother had an affection for Acerbus. Altho she, unlike her brother, knew Acerbus did not feel the same. It made her wonder, how she would react should Acerbus finally get through to Amadeo that he disliked him with an intense passion that could fuel a ship to the antartic and back multiple times. Would she side with her brother, or with the squirel she was growing sorta fond of. She couldnt help but chuckle softly at the musings.
Shaking her head, she cleared her mind of such a notion. The likelyness of anything getting through Amadeos head was slim. Her red eyes surveyed Acerbus for a moment, as she quirked a brow "Your missing an earring" she said abruptly. Acerbus "Well I'm very grateful for it." the male replied, he had been saved by Carrara many times from the stupidity of her brother. Infact he couldn't think of a time where she hadn't saved him, perhaps he had some luck after all. Especially since afterwards he got to sit around and chat (or rather flirt) with the female. Odd luck. He oviously couldn't have one without the other when Amadeo was involved. he'd have personally just prefered the good luck and only that.
A brow arched as Carrara spoke of his missing ear ring. "Yeah. That's what I was doing out here." His tails perked, the tips twitching. "I don't know how it fell off." a pause as the small frown on his face turned to a smirk. "However your beauty is far more enchanting then some old ear ring." Not that he didn't want his ear ring back, he was simply a tad more distracted at the moment, flirting always came first. Really in what world didn't such a thing come first. ...
