I'm SorrySolo Roleplay 39"I took it way too far this morning.""Mhm." Asherah busy trying to both unsaddle Mocha and ignore Tien; thus far only doing the former successfully. The catgirl had just returned from bringing Love back to the Pantheon and was quite tired from the ride plus the previous night's 'activities'. She lay the saddle over the bench in the stable and set to brushing the mare down. "You did."
"You know I did not mean anything by it...right?" She reached out and put a hand on top of Asherah's interrupting the mare's brushing."I know and I told him as much." Red gaze followed the line of Tien's arm over to her face.
"The first was a jest...but I think I might have gotten a little jealous." She bit back the sigh that threatened to pass her lips."Why?"
"Because you are mine, Asherah, in a way that you could never belong to any other." There was no stopping that sigh now. She felt silly, for being jealous of Love. If he made Asherah happy, that should be enough. At least it didn't bother the catgirl that he was not the monogamous sort, then there might have been an issue."Did you really think I would leave your side to go chasing after Desiderio?"
"I....I do not know.""

There was a moments hesitation before she spoke. "No..""Yes, you
did." Asherah laughed and the goddess stared at her, wide eyed. "You think I do not know that tone by now?"
"Damnit, Asherah, here I am trying to apologize to you and you go and muck it up.""You did that much yourself." She set the brush on Mocha's back and pulled Tien to her. "You have always been terrible at apologies."
Tien wrapped her arms around the catgirl, head coming to rest on her shoulder. "I really do not mind, if you wish to keep seeing him. Just make sure he returns you once and a while.""You think I would miss out on one of our adventures?" Asherah's hands traced lazy circles on Tien's back with the hope of relaxing her some.
"I hope not, it would not be half as fun without you." She wrapped her arms around the catgirl's midsection and gave her a gentle squeeze. "You are my partner in crime after all." "Partner in
crime, hn?"
"Well, in everything really. I would have been lost a long time ago if I did not have you chasing after me." She lifted her head to look up at the Asherah. "To think even for a second that I might loose you to someone else...it hurt." Tien smiled sadly, almost looking like she was on the verge of tears."If you think I would trade
you for a lifetime of a man's company, even his, you are sillier than I thought." Asherah lifted a hand from Tien's waist and brushed the tears from her eyes. "Still so much like that little goddess who named me." She smiled, eyes clearly showing a little amusement. "Just remember this, when you are chasing after that Dragon King of yours."
"Am I really like I was back then?" Tien closed her eyes and pressed the catgirl's hand to her cheek. "I promise, I will remember and not leave you behind this time or Gul either. I made that mistake once and I do not intend to make it again." The price of that mistake last time had been far too high for her liking. She squeezed Asherah's hand gently before letting it go."Yes, you are, but you have grown and changed somewhat, for the better."
"I am glad for that; I would hate to hear that I have gotten worse since my rebirth...""Well, now that you mention it...." Asherah's tone was full of mischief.
"HEY!" The goddess pretended to look offended and only managed to make the catgirl burst into laughter.It was then that Gul appeared in the doorway that lead into the small kitchen of their home. "It seems you two have sorted things out."
She looked over her shoulder at Gul then back to Asherah who had managed to compose herself. "Well, have we made up?""Yes, I do think so." The catgirl let go of Tien and retrieved Mocha's brush, finally getting back to her task.
"Well, Gul, seems all is well again. Until the next catastrophe at least.""Like you trying to woo Worldshield?"
Tien had turned to head inside, froze midstep and swung around to look at Asherah again. "Hey! That is not even fair! I am not that bad at courting someone ." At least...I hope not.That was the demoness aoide's cue to leave, before things got out of hand. She shook her head and went inside, leaving the door half open for them whenever they chose to come in.
"No, I do not think it will be so bad." The catgirl continued to brush the mare's coat as she spoke. "Just be yourself and actually remember to say 'I love you.' sometimes."
"Low blow...Asherah...really." She sighed and shook her head. Really the catgirl did have a point though: do not repeat the same mistakes you made in the past. The goddess knew she was lucky to have a second chance at learning to love someone, hopefully she would not screw it up this time. "Thank you for the advice, whether you intended it or not.""Anytime, it is what I am here for, besides keeping you in line."
It was a shot at her, sure, but Tien could not help but laugh at it. Asherah had really spent much of her life trying to keep her 'in line' and alive. She owed the catgirl a great deal.
"Come on, Asherah, smells like Gul has dinner on."
