Meaning of (name): In Old English it means "ash tree". In Hebrew it means "fortunate" Aliases: Foal, Swamp Flower, Sister Date Found: July 15, 2011 Found: Jule's July CustomsDate of Maxing: July 1, 2012 Temper: Adventurous Breed: Ceyreni Breed Appearance: Ceyreni Height: 14.2 Hands Personality: Headstrong and obstinate are good words to describe the small mare, but she is also fearless and adventurous. At times reckless, she faces all problems head on. She will not flinch at whatever is required of her. She doesn't believe in wasting time crying or trying to escape the inevitable--she is strong enough to bear whatever it is and will give no one the pleasure of seeing her break down. She's playful, but assertive. She knows what she wants. At times she's blunt, but unlike her sister she is not naive or very meek. She can be outspoken, but not rude. Ashe stands up for what she believes in, and has a general affection for those weaker than herself. Quirks/Character Traits: ✶ Has always been an adventurous, fearless sort ✶ Was taken captive by Cereus, whom she falls in love with. (It's love/hate relationship at first). ✶ When Cereus gives her, her freedom and does not seek her as per her wish she comes back to him, knowing he loves her for sure then. ✶ Doesn't know any of her family is alive Backstory: Afzelia and Alder knew each other from the time they left their baskets. It was an easy and happy life that lead up to agreeing that they could never live without each other. It wasn’t long before the first baskets arrived, or well…the first basket. After a long and difficult labor, only one basket ever opened and they welcomed their first and only child, a son—Araucaria. He was the light of their life, and afraid to try again they let him carry all their hopes, admirations and dreams. It was too much for Araucaria who deemed himself “first to fail”. He left shortly after his siblings were born, identical twins---Acacia and her brother Aspen. The two were inseparable, they did everything together and their thoughts were always perfectly in sync. It wasn’t long before Afzelia and her Alder were blessed once again with baskets, three this time. When the baskets opened, it revealed two more sons and another daughter. It was three days later before they had finally decided on names. They would announce them when the dawn broke. Laying down to rest that night, that was when the fire broke out. But neither Afzelia, Alder, Aspen, or the youngest brothers opened their eyes again. This was the night, that both daughters were fated to have their lives changed forever. Both thinking they were the only survivors of the fire. The unnamed filly got to her feet and trade to make her way from the fire on her own. It was then that Lutherian found her and led her from the fire.

The Continuing Story...
Lutherian gave her, her name and as she grew she harbored feelings for him. It was on one of her outings that she got lured or lost in the swamp. It was there that Cereus took her captive and made a pet of her.
Trying to play him at his own game, she feigned falling in love with him in an attempt to seduce him into letting her go. Unfortunately, as the ruse goes on she finds out that it's more true than she'd like to believe.
Because who could ever love a monster? |

Meaning of (name): An Italian name meaning "soul". Named for Alma, New Bruinswick, Canada (one of my most favourite places in the world). Aliases: Al, Fiend. Date Found: August 3, 2011 Found: Happy Norp Day!Date of Maxing: July 31, 2015 Temper: Wry Breed: Imp Breed Appearance: Imp Height: 9 Hands Personality: Alma is the only one left in her family. Everything that she has ever loved has been taken from her, and because of that she feels invincible. There is no reason to hold her tongue, no reason to hide her intentions---All that is left is her. She doesn’t speak of her past, she says it’s dead just like everyone that is in it and not worth the time to tell. She holds a very vicious streak in her body when needed, however she’s not unusually cruel except in words. Alma excels at sparks, and most other games she plays—she picks things up very easily. Don’t let her small body fool you, she’s a deadly force of nature. Quirks/Character Traits: ✶ Had a full brother named Sebastian and a stepfather, Breton that died when their herd was taken over by slavers. ✶ Helped raise Umeko after the first basket was taken away, while their mother grieved and wasted away. ✶ Believes until recently that Umeko was dead, has no clues where the basket could be. ✶ Has vowed to kill Morsmordre. ✶ Hates snails, they're disgusting. Backstory: Alma was bright child, not necessarily happy. It had never been her nature to be joyful, but there was no joy when they came. They came in the dead of night, killing her step-father and her brother—all males had to die. They needed to cripple the females by destroying their families. She had never seen so much blood before… Her mother, heavy with foals, and she were sold into slavery. Her mother had it easier, she had precious cargo—future slaves in the making. But she did whatever they wanted her to do. Slowly her heart was encased in stone, she thought she could never love anything again. Her mother bore two baskets, one sold the moment that it was taken from her. The other basket was watched carefully by her mother, guarded until the small downy head came out. And Alma loved her so completely. Her mother and she did everything to keep her sister Umeko from view, to keep her from all notice. But she was too beautiful, too sweet to go by unnoticed. In the night, they came for her. Dragging her from their small home, screaming “ALMA! ALMA!” Alma ran after her, biting, shocking, kicking anyone who got in her way. But there was no hope, they tortured her but all she did was utter curses back at them and vow her vengeance. Weeks passed, then word came. Her sister Umeko was dead. They let her and mother go back to their cave, but her mother was far too sick and frail to recover. She watched her waste away. She had no one left she loved. No one. It was then she vowed, she would escape.

Stats  Stats Announcement!Hi all <3 Sorry for tiny delay on adding end of month stats there :3 Life got slightly hectic but those are all added now~ The August stat log is now open and bonus questions for this month can give you a 2% boost to speed! July saw a total of 11 Soquili maxing out: Shika-Nijiiro, Tsuki Sachi, Midagi Royale, Djose, Azguard, Vassilis, Diantha, Hermes, Kalypso, Lumen Anor and Alma. The Continuing Story...
With bitter determination, Alma did escape from the kalonas who kept her as a slave. Though she has searched she's found no trace of the basket that was sold before it's popping.
Becoming fast friends with Johanna Mason, they found out they shared a common enemy--AV and Morsmordre, the slavers. Bound by this notion, they would later get involved with The Cabal.
At some point she meets Freyja who leads her to a necessary truth (Being rped)- that Umeko is still alive. But she can scarce believe it until Johanna brings her news of her health (to be rp'ed) |

Dropped hereDate of Maxing: August 1, 2012 Temper: Graceful Breed: Harpy/Flutter/Regular/Kirin Breed Appearance: Flutter Harpy Height: 14 Hands Personality: Galla Sile believes in honour. It is deeply rooted within her and with that honour comes the desire to defend her sisters, her family. Though she loves to sing and dance, she decided that she would rather take what she considered a more "useful" role in the Flock and became a Guard. Small in stature, Galla Sile has a big heart. She is mostly monogamous when with a stallion despite Flock tendencies. Galla is hoping one day to find a stallion that she can love exclusively. Often, she struggles with her differences in character between her and her Flock Sisters. Quirks/Character Traits: ✶ Has a romantic nature, not usual in the Flock. ✶ During Samhain has a romantic night with Ambrose that results in foals and a bit of a foggy head. ✶ Captures and falls desperately in love with Adrian, but realizes that though she loves him she has to let him go. Releases him outside the Flock not knowing she was already pregnant with his foals, eerily similiar to what happened to her mom and the father she never knew. ✶ After one daughter goes missing for awhile, Galla decides to take more time outside of the Flock to find her. She now only takes short visits home. ✶ Secretly, she sought her half-brother and step-father and began trying to accustom herself to living life outside the Flock while she was outside of it. ✶ Met and captured Fantome, her soulmate. And for him, she stays outside the Flock so that he need never be captured or owned or shared. He is and will always ever be only hers. Backstory: Born to the Flock, she and her brother were raised by their mother after their Father escaped--though if he had stayed, he would not have had much say in raising them. However, Galla grew up believing that you could have both love and live in the Flock. By all means it has worked for some, but it did not work for Galla’s mother or Galla herself.

The Continuing Story...
Galla raised her daughters to be strong in the Flock, teaching them that usefulness was better than beauty though always sharing a rivalry of beauty with Vanya.
Galla raised two daughters after coming back from the Twisted Tunnel. As they grew, she captured the stallion Adrian and took him as her own pet falling deeply in love with him. Adrian, beautiful and proud and playful, grew close with Galla and when she captured him, he went with her. But for him the Flock seemed too binding. Unable to carry his signature cleaver or have the freedoms he once enjoyed, he grew bitter.
In the end, Galla let Adrian go because she loved him and did not want to see him suffer but she did not love him enough to follow. Adrian in turn loved her, but not enough to stay. Sometimes love is simply not enough. She did not know she was pregnant when she set him free.
She gave birth to two daughters and a son (Astrea, Tessasilme, Salvatore Nyare).
Blessed by the wishing star with another basket that was the spirit child of her and her fr-enemy Vanya, they had to come together and mend the broken paths between them to raise Vanraumolírë'.
Soon thereafter though, Galla's daughter Eeirine has gone missing--away from the Flock too long. Galla and some of her children decide to search for her (and the male members of their family that fled) and so decide to live half their time outside of the Flock. |
