Her knuckles stung from hitting the metal, which didn't really seem to bend or break immediately, but that was fine. She just had to keep going, and going, and with everyone else around, eventually something was going to give.
She saw Alastor nearby, and nodded to him.
Even if everything else was miserable, at least her form was getting better.
Although that moment of distraction meant her next blow didn't land quite as hard.

“‘Robomau’…” Ptolemy repeated the words, trying to make sense of them. “‘Chaos entity’?”
She blinked a few more times until her vision cleared. She must have taken quite the hit. It certainly felt that way.
“‘Aether? — is attacking everyone’…” It didn’t make sense.
She was physically unharmed so she must have hit her head quite hard to have fallen unconscious.
‘Feels like chaos. They may be your source.’
She tried to process Encke’s words.
Chaos. The source of Chaos must have gotten to Aether!
Ptolemy tried to stand just as Wallia’s fortress disappeared. She was unsteady on her feet. Yet she stood because she knew what she must do. But she would need help.
A very special kind of help.
“I need a Mauvian!”
Then Aether turned to look at Ptolemy.
“I know what you need a Mauvian for and I will not allow you to reset me… Not after all these years!”
Just as she said that, more wires appeared…

“That’s plasma?! Wow,” Wallia gasped. Wow, senshis did seem to have all kinds of cool power sources. He likes his as well, even though it wasn't offensive. Defence was just as good in battle, and when paired with offensive attacks, it could be super effective.
Knowing Urania would be okay was enough to help him relax a bit. And when he heard her voice, a sigh of relief came out from the teenager. He turned to look at her and gave her a warm smile.
“What they said. Also,” he turned and waved his hand around him, showcasing the fortress. “I created some defence around us. So, you have time to rest a bit.”
However, as soon as he had said that, a strong hit from wires hit the wall. The fortress started crumbling, boxes falling down and breaking into tiny magical particles.
“It should hold up still,” Wallia gasped, his tone full of disbelief. It had lasted longer last time.
As an instinct, he raised his hand again, ready to put his fort up a second time. But before he could call out his magic, a wire slashed next to his cheek and curled around his hand.
“Ahh!” escaped from his mouth, following up with words which could be interpreted as cursing. “Ei vittu!”
Trying to get his hand free, he tried to pull the wire with force. Yet, even though he was struggling, he still was concerned about the one, who in his mind needed the help most.
As soon as the boxes went down and not-Urania stood up, Emain Ablach acted to make sure the wires couldn't take advantage of the situation to go after her. She looked unstable on her feet as it was. As if on cue, the robot issued its challenge and more wires appeared. So she was going to try and reset the robot? Godspeed, far as he was concerned. But that meant there were still more wires to deal with.
The word Emain Ablach said was not very nice.
He moved hastily to stand a few feet in front of not-Urania, both to be closer to offer a shoulder in case she started to go back down and to use her as the epicenter for his next move. Before the wires could take too much more advantage of the lull in defense, Emain Ablach dropped to one knee and ground the bottom of his shield into the floor. Behind him, trees sprang from the floor and grew higher than any of them stood tall, their branches thick, thick enough that the wires would hopefully have a harder time getting at any of the people behind him---not-Urania included. He kept his focus on keeping those trees up and prayed that none of the wires would come for him.
Hopefully she could still do whatever she needed to do.

He saw the boxes go down and the trees go up just as wires lashed out toward the people near Urania and generally in the room. Fortunately, Imhotep seemed to be ignored by the wires for the time being. Ever the opportunist, Imhotep used this chance to strike at the wires again.
It would probably be smartest for him to cluster closer to other people, but he would worry about that in a minute--
Oh, right, staying out of the way of the wires was probably a very smart idea. But Perdita was always smart and was able to stay calm in the face of danger! Connie had no intention of getting near the wires, but she was especially careful now!
She gasped at the sight of a tiger, but shook her head when asked if she had one. No! But she was determined to work harder to get a beautiful creature like that! And if Belmont needed help getting one too, then they could absolutely work together!
Oh, but it seemed like he had a friend who was saying hi to him, so Connie quickly sidestepped over to Perdita. Just to make sure she was okay! And to maybe tag team against some wires. Some others were getting caught in the wires so she was going to be especially careful not to make Perdita and Belmont worry. She wanted to be useful! And even though she just had a little plant as a weapon, she was still doing her best.
But she hadn’t missed Belmont’s glance, and she flashed him a quick smile and small wave. She happened to think they made a pretty good team! Now if only they could get these wires to stop attacking, and this Chaos gone! She rushed over to strike once more when she had the chance.
"Pretty cool, right?" he offered, to Wallia, shooting him a grin. To be honest, he did agree what his magic could do was pretty amazing. It was one of the things that attracted his initially very traumatized state into actually embracing it full-sail. That and the whole ... being able to go to space thing.
Grieve was right, he was pretty glowy! Just not in the way he would have been before...
He watched as wires came out and bound two of the people near him and winced. s**t. They had to do something about this before she had literally everyone there bound...
Well, the basement priest had the right idea. "Thanks!" he shouted over to Emain Ablach, hoping that would at least help keep Urania--unpowered as she was, now--safe while they attempted to figure everything else out. He wasn't sure if Emain had got to it in time to help Wallia and Grieve over there, but at least it would hopefully stem off any more of these damn wires. Honestly, that would probably do a better job than him continuing to attack the wires to keep her safe.
Though...
"My guardian is here! Somewhere! Can definitely help get you the reset she needs," despite everything Aether was saying. He turned his head and attempted to shout over the din. "Vi! Get over here!"
And there was something else he could do. This wasn't hopeless. The next magic blast he aimed was at the wires restricting Wallia and Grieve. "On it!" to Wallia, even though his magic was aimed in the direction of the wires binding him. "Though I think Emain Ablach's hopefully got everyone covered," he chuckled, "it's Encke, by the way!" Plasma Guy was fun, but if he wanted to facilitate connections, having actual names might help--

It didn't take much for Viatrix to catch that the dehenshined Urania was calling for Mauvian help. Adding in that her bonded senshi was calling for her, it didn't take much for her to drop what she was doing with attacking wires and rush over to where he was standing with several other people.
"One Mauvian reporting!"
"... What do you mean one?" came another voice, another respondent who was familiar with the dehenshined senshi. He looked Urania up and down, tilting his head in his concern. "Ptolemy, are you alright?"
She looked alright, but she was not in the henshined state he might have expected her to be in. Was it just the attack from Aether earlier, or had something more major happened? Whichever one it was, he hoped that the senshi and knights around had it. Whatever the Earth squire just did seemed fairly effective, but the wires were already around two of the senshi.
"Sorry, didn't see you there!" How had she missed him? He was kinda big for a cat... "Viatrix! You?"
"My name is Elliott." He nodded curtly, turning back to Ptolemy. "What do you need us to do?"

“Cynthus!” he barked when she got targeted by the wires and they seemed to be working to wrap around her.
“Help me with these, please” he asked Yvoire, reaching to give his hand a quick squeeze of reassurance as he began to hack at some of the wires. Yvoire was doing pretty good with attacking, so he figured he'd probably be able to help out the most. And he'd worked with him on their Wonders, so he felt like they could easily team up against challenges.
He glanced over to the others as well.
“Mary! Can you get that side? Effie, Dering -- make sure these things don’t get us from behind. Rose, you okay? Stay close,” he called over to her as well. Dering was doing pretty good with attacking and staying out of danger, and Ephesus with his tiger, well... he just needed the tiger to stand in front of them or something. Amarynthos he'd worked often with as well, although the other didn't know it. It looked like Mechelen was with her own friends and taking care of things.
He was trying not to panic. Despite butting heads with Cynthus, he didn’t want her getting hurt! And he definitely didn’t want her getting caught up in some Chaos wires because… gross.
Reims knew they needed to get rid of the Chaos, but what was the point if any of them got killed in the process? It was better to retreat and try again.
Besides, once they got Cynthus free, they might be needed to help out with others who were stuck. They couldn’t help Urania at all unless they were able to get free and attack more efficiently.
Ephesus did his best to stay close to the others and avoid the wires. He thought it was really sweet that Amarynthos was standing close to protect him as well, especially while Ephesus had his tiger doing most of the damage that he couldn’t do on his own.
“Cynthus!” he called out as well and hurried over to where she’d gotten caught in the wires. He reached out to place a gentle hand on Dering’s arm, pulling him back a bit. Not because he thought Dering was in the way, but because he could definitely use some help in making sure they weren’t attacked while the others were getting Cynthus out.
“Your poor lyre. It’s really sturdy. Oh, sorry, don’t take this the wrong way but the sound it makes when you hit something is kind of cute,” he admitted, although he was keeping an eye on everything around them as he spoke, and clearly on high alert. He definitely didn’t want them ending up in the wires as well.
“This Chaos can’t last much longer,” he said, clearly hopeful that just saying it would make it come true.
The tiger made another quick swipe at the robotic woman, but seemed ready to stand its ground to protect them.

Despite wanting to catch up, this definitely wasn’t the right place to talk. They had a job to do and Chaos to destroy. Urania was counting on them. Not everyone was suited for fighting, after all. He just wished some of the others in the room would also focus on the task at hand.
“I’ll be better once we’re done with this,” he admitted to Belmont, then took a step back to regroup near Alastor. He just wanted to make sure he was okay. And then to check on the teenagers. And Urania. There seemed to be a couple Mauvians working on disabling the robotic woman.
“Should have asked Solieyu to just turn off the Chaos on your world,” Sessrumnir grumbled to Alastor. He knew it wasn’t really fair to say it. Maybe some chaos was weaker than others. Maybe the Chaos on Alastor’s world had been so deeply embedded that there was more of it. Maybe the Chaos here had weakened over the centuries with nothing to feed off of.
Whatever the case was, he really would be better once they were done with everything. He took another lunge forward at the robot when he had the chance.
