What was meant as a half joke seemed very much taken seriously by both Leona and the male, who'd introduced himself as Nickolas Wiess. Now she was certain she'd heard that name before. The fact she couldn't remember who he was was driving her nuts. Yet another thing she'd have to ask Umbra. Anyway, back to the silly display Nickolas had shown. She quickly reached down and grabbed a napkin from the table they were standing at, letting the silverware that was tucked inside clatter back onto the table. "Here, here." She offered, holding out the napkin for him. He appeared rather red in the face, and was that alcohol she melt on him. Well, this was a party with such a thing.. and not like she could judge she'd had a few herself. "I'm sorry, I really only meant that as a joke." She insisted. "Either way, It was lovely meeting you, Lady Leona. As you Sire Weiss. But I should call my time here at the gala at an end. I have Pokemon to attend to outside the palace, and a journey to continue." Temperance offered, giving a gentle bow. She had his contact information, so perhaps she'd simply send him a message when she returned to Shinnoh? Exiting the palace, she found Azalev and Epona, just as Din had said. "Azalev!" Temperance called, rushing to the Prinplup's side. He turned with a sharp look in his eyes, which quickly softened to one of happiness. He then puffed out his chest and folded his flippers, acting so proud of his power. "I'm glad you're alright, and so proud that you evolved! My, I think we're beyond ready to face the gym now." She mused, crouching down to gently pet Azalev's blue feathers. Grabbing Epona's ball from her bag she returned the pony, as well as Din and Daphnes to their Pokeballs. Looking down to Daphnes. "If the ghosts followed us here, they will follow us back. Let's finish this back in Oreburg." She stated, grabbing Azalev's flipper as he held it up. Directing the penguin to a man with an Abra, it took but a few moments to return Temperance to where she'd come from.

However, the sip was spat out as Tamara introduced herself and assumed that he was courting Leona. He denounced it with a fluster, accepting the offered napkin to wipe away any spill that had occurred. Thankfully, Leona had felt the same way rather than offended, and Tamara had been jesting. Though their meeting was short, the blond bid them both farewell and took her leave, Nikolaus waving after her with his own pleasant good-bye.

Ducky had no argument against Vinny tagging along to defend himself should he meet up again with Olivia, bearing more stories of his childhood with Vinny. It even seemed oddly playful of his friend to say such a thing. The blue eyed male tried to focus on other tales to share that didn't involve embarrassing Vinny, but after the reason for being asked if he knew Chinese was revealed, he couldn't resist. Giving a nickname like yinghua to Olive... It only made it seem more like Vinny likely had some strong feelings for her. It was a cute nickname, her hair color making it even more fitting. But he knew Vince was not one to give nicknames lightly. Ducky was slightly disappointed that he didn't get to reveal the name meaning, so he couldn't help but reveal Vinny's Chinese name on top of Wei's reveal. It earned a snap from Vinny, though he quickly bit his tongue, glaring at the ground.
The reveal had gone unnoticed, it seemed, to Olive, which was disappointing to Ducky. He had wanted to know what she had thought about it, but she seemed to have something else on her mind, quietly excusing herself and leaving them. As she left, a flock of swablu lofted in, one landing on Vince's head and causing the suanni to comment on it. It seemed to be the last straw, as Vinny waved the bird off, snatched up the bottle of shochu to storm off, telling Ducky not to follow him as he passed by. Dakota blinked his wide eyes, letting out a nervous laugh.
Not long after the commotion, Wei got up and scolded him for going too far in teasing Vince. "B-but Wei-chan, you don't understand- It's just-" he stammered to defend himself, but she had already left to presumably find Vince herself. "Ughhhh... Kanojo wa ima watashi no koto o yoku kangaete inai..." he groaned, dropping his head down onto his arm that was resting on the bar counter with a thud. Maybe he did deserve the scolding but... he felt he was in the right. For all the hardships he's faced while trying to be Vincent's friend. All the emotional pain he's tried to endure even after all these years. Ducky heaved a heavy sigh, lifting his head as he felt Lucina's hand on his shoulder.
"Dakota..." she said. "Not you too!" Ducky pleaded, not wanting to get another scolding. It was bad enough that he had the feeling Lucina was still judging him for having slept with Ezra, and that Wei likely had a bad opinion of him now because of how he was with Vincent. Heck, he still wasn't sure why Olive had disappeared so suddenly - that might as well be his fault, too. Was he really that unlikable? He looked over the bar counter anxiously, wondering if he should just give in to the call of booze and drink this situation away. "N-no, I'm not here for that... You are in enough pain..." Lucina assured him, but pulled him out of the bar stool and away from the bar. Ezra hadn't let her help him, and she wasn't going to give Dakota a chance to avoid being helped. And that meant the first step would be to keep him away from drinking himself to death. Ducky fidgeted anxiously and awkwardly as he moved along with Lucina. He just wanted to get away from this gala as soon as he could. But he was still bothered by Vince and how he had stormed off.
It hadn't taken too long before Lucina figured out where her sister had gone, and consequently Vincent. She told Ducky along the way that he needed to talk things out with Vincent before leaving, even though she herself felt nervous about it. Lucy already disliked Vincent. Sure, Dakota had pushed a few too many buttons, but it seemed to her it was because Ducky desired any reaction he could get from the other, even if it was negative. The situations were likely much more complex, but she could feel how desperately Dakota clung to his friendship with Vince, despite all the hurt that came with it. As Ducky went through the doors to join Vincent on the balcony overlooking the garden, Lucina was quite intent on following, but her sister stopped her at the doors. "It is painful to continue to stand by and do nothing, sister..." she told Luna. She wanted to go out onto the balcony with Dakota, but she knew she probably shouldn't, despite the conflicting feelings concerning that.
Ducky leaned up against the balcony railing beside Vince, his arms crossed over his chest, gaze averted ever so slightly. "Come on, Vinny. Those stories weren't so bad that you had to run off and hide." he commented with a bit of a strained smile. The thing he actually wanted to say was 'I'm not that unbearable, am I?', but he swallowed that question, keeping it to himself despite what Lucina had told him to do.

Yue helped her sister and Ducky by informing them of Vince's location. It was clear that Vince and Ducky needed to talk some things out alone, even if Lucina really wanted to step in. “Your interfering will help no one.” She insisted, though Lucy argued about how painful it was just to stand by and watch. “I know, but it is the right thing to do presently. They must work this out themselves. We must only step in if things take a bad turn.” She insisted.
Vince grimaced as Ducky appeared. He told him not to follow, but he supposed that deep down, he knew Ducky would ignore him and follow anyways. "Your embarrassing childhood retellings are not why I am here. I was willing to sit and bear those." He clarified, taking another swig of his shōchū. "Then why did you desert us?" Ducky asked earnestly. "I didn't want her to find out what yīnghuā meant." He admitted. He didn't want to have this conversation, but there was no point in avoiding Ducky, no point in ignoring him. The boy was an absolute pest and would continue to bug him until he got the answers he wanted. "Why not? It's a lovely nickname." Ducky insisted. He didn't understand. "Because I don't want her to get the wrong impression!" Vince snapped.
Ducky frowned, though it wasn't because of Vince yelling at him—he was used to that—but rather because of what Vince said. "Are you trying to say you don't have thing for her? Cause you are a shitty liar." Vince only grunted and mumbled incoherently under his breath, staring out over the garden. Ducky met his (mostly) silent response by leaning his back against the railing, folding his arms over his chest and narrowing his eyes at Vince. "....Is it that obvious...?" Vince asked quietly. "Yeah." Ducky told him straight, without hesitation. It was enough to make Vince wince. “Well... I don’t think she’s noticed, and I’d prefer it to stay that way.” Vince sighed, straightening up again and moving to slowly pace around the open balcony.
Ducky was shocked that Vince would say such a thing, and it took him a moment to vocalize his surprise. "Wha--?! Why???" He snapped. It made no sense to him. How could Vince feel so strongly for Olivia but not want anything to come of it? Vince only turned slightly to give Ducky a resigned and sidelong look before taking another swig of his bottle. "I apologize for giving you and Jian a hard time about your drinking habits. I’m beginning to see why it is so appealing...." Vince muttered, looking down at his bottle with vague interest. "That wasn't an answer, baka!" Ducky growled. "I don't want to answer." Vince stated simply, turning away and attempting to take another drink, but Ducky stormed over and snatched the bottle away from him. "Jeez.... If you wanted some you could have just asked." Ducky glared at Vince for his suggestion. He didn't seem to understand. "I don't want any, this is me saying you've had enough. Now answer the question." Vince frowned and stared after Ducky with a glazed look in his eye, but ultimately decided that it was probably for the best. He had promised Olivia not to drink too much, but given the circumstances, it was quite difficult not too. The numbing feeling he got from the buzz was soothing and better than dealing with the raging and conflicting emotions inside of him.
"When did you become so responsible....?" Vince jabbed a bit gruffly. He wasn't too upset about his liquor being taken away, since some part of him agreed it was the right thing to do, but he was still irritated by all of this. "Since when did you think you knew me well enough to assume the opposite of me?" Vince rolled his eyes. “I don’t have to know you well to know you aren't the responsible kind. I’ve experienced your irresponsibility in person, on multiple accounts.” Ducky seemed mildly offended by his comment. "Yeah. When we were kids. and only during the times you'd tolerate my presence. Which wasn't often, by the way." He snapped, looking almost tempted to start drinking the shōchū himself before moving and setting it down at a safe distance away from both of them.
Vince sighed and pinched his nose. "I really don't need this right now. Please, just leave me alone." Ducky pursed his lips. "No. You're going to sit there and listen to what I have to say for once. I hate that you're always so judgmental of everything I do. I may ******** around and drink a lot myself, but I'm not so irresponsible that I'd sit by and just let my friends drink them selves sick, if I can help it. I actually care about my friends, even if they don't consider me to be one." Vince sighed, skirting the topic of friendship for now. “So you won’t take care of yourself, but you’ll expect it of other people?” He commented lowly, causing Ducky to hesitate. "That's different... but no, I can't let others be like that." Vince's eyes narrowed. “Different or not, the first step in getting people to follow your advice, is to set an example.” He suggested, though Ducky only huffed irritably. ""Like i'd take advice from you. You could be happy with her. Happier than I could ever hope to make you as a friend." Vince continued to wear his stoic mask, despite how much Ducky's words made him feel.... Something. A lot of things. It wasn't as if he didn't want to try. The idea of starting something with Olivia was so tempting, too tempting, like a siren's song calling him straight to his doom, and he probably wouldn't even care knowing that he was walking right into that trap until the last moment when he had to face the consequences of his weakness.
“I was referring to you trying to give me advice about love life and drinking, but your feelings are duly noted.” He stated cryptically, and Ducky sighed. "I just.... don't understand why you would be throwing this away...." Vince hesitated, something sad and vulnerable flashing in his expression for a brief moment. "I.... Have my reasons." He insisted weakly. "What, like so you can keep up this lone wolf act?" Ducky snapped, gesturing to the other dragon tamer with disgust and annoyance, and Vince flashed an equally angry and sharp look at the accusation. “Believe it or not, I don’t actually like being alone all the time. I simply do it because it is necessary.” Ducky folded his arms across his chest again, looking unconvinced. "Why is it necessary?" He demanded, and Vince gave a ragged sigh, running his hands through his hair. "It is necessary for a number of reasons. I’m sure it might be hard for a neutral Suanni like you to comprehend, as you easily mouth off about clans like it’s no big deal, but some clans, like mine, have enemies.” Vince spat. "Having enemies has never stopped our clans from having loved ones." Ducky argued. “I’m not saying I can’t love again, but I can’t love her.”
Ducky was aggravated, but at least he seemed to be inching closer to the root of all this mess. "Why not?" He urged. "Because! I’ve already endangered her enough by just traveling together. I’m not going to involve an outsider into this mess, knowing that she’d be defenseless if a rival clan attacked, or used her against me. Yes, I would love to try dating her. I'd love to have her and call her my own, but this isn’t some teenage romance novel. This won’t end in happily ever after. The real world is more complicated than that, and I don’t want to deal with the consequences of making a bad decision." Not again, anyways. He could feel it. One more fatal mistake, and that would be it for him. He'd snap. He couldn't bear the weight of another.
Vince was gripping the railing so tightly that his knuckles were quickly growing white. Ducky watched Vince quietly for a moment before speaking again, this time with his tone more gentle. "Can't you protect her...?" Vince relaxed a little with a sigh. “I would try, of course, but I can’t guarantee her safety, and I can't be with her every minute of every day. That’s why we always married fighters or other clan members, so that we knew they could protect themselves while we were apart.” Vince explained. "I don't know Vince, you shouldn't underestimate outsiders...." Ducky mumbled, but it was a weak argument that hinged only on possibilities and he knew it. "She's a civilian, Ducky, with no fighting experience." Little did he know how wrong he was. "Have you sparred with her? No? I didn't think so. .....I wouldn't know if she knew how to fight either, though..." Ducky admitted. “It doesn’t matter! She’s not going to survive an attack from a trained assassin!!!" Vince snapped. "She’s not part of the clans, she’s not a ninja from Fuchsia, she’s just a normal girl from Ecruteak.” A small voice in the back of his mind reminded him that this "normal girl from Ecruteak" was one that he loved, but Vince quickly smothered the thought.
Ducky was admittedly taken aback. "What the...?! Are you serious?! Assassins, Vince?! Just what kind of enemies does your clan have?!" Vince looked conflicted. He couldn't reveal who, lest Ducky try and start something. “I told you. Not all clans are neutral and buddy buddy with each other like Suanni. Some clans actually want to keep their identity a secret for valid reasons.” He reiterated instead of answering. Thankfully for Vince, Ducky didn't seem to notice. "I think my clan is too concerned about keeping neutrality... " Ducky grumbled. “No, it’s smart. Then you don’t have to constantly worry about getting a poison dagger to the back....” Vince sighed. He knew he'd been giving Ducky a rough time for his clan neutrality but.... It was mostly because he envied them. "But... It doesn't... feel right....." Ducky insisted.
A thick silence enveloped the two, and Ducky, desperate to find a solution, spoke up again. "A-anyways! If you can't guarantee her safety, let me!" He piped up, causing Vince to give Ducky an even look, narrowing his eyes. “What are you blathering about now...?” Vince asked lowly. "I'll guarantee her safety for you by traveling with her." Vince continued to watch Ducky carefully. He'd assumed Ducky was suggesting something like asking Olivia out himself, but thankfully he wasn't that stupid. Still, he seemed to be suggesting being their personal bodyguard, which was stupid. “.....I don’t see how you could protect her any more than I could. Furthermore I refuse to allow you to just follow us around.” Vince dismissed, but Ducky had that stupidly childish look on his face. "I wouldn't even bother you! I can tag along at a distance. You won't even know I'm there!" Vince looked exasperated. This was so stupid of a suggestion he didn't even know where to begin. "I will know you're there if you're telling me you're going to follow us everywhere." Ducky shrugged. "Well, you can just ignore me like usual." That stung Vince, and it showed, but he sidestepped the comment. “......Besides you’re being absolutely ridiculous.” He insisted, looking away. "I'm being ridiculous???" Ducky gave a sarcastic laugh. “Yes! You can’t just follow us around everywhere for the rest of your life!” Vince argued. "I can if that means you can be happy, and that she can be protected." Vince rubbed his face in exasperation. Ducky was so stubborn and idealistic that it hurt. “Olive is not the sole source of happiness in my life. Accept that this won’t work and move on. Why are you so obsessed with this?!" Vince demanded. "Because! She definitely means a lot to you! You've known her for much less time than you have known me and you are already so much closer to her!" Vince grimaced. “That’s--! It.... It doesn’t... Matter....” He insisted again, but it was clear Ducky didn't believe him. "I won't let you do this. As soon as we get our next badge in Kalos, I'm leaving her." Vince insisted resolutely. "So... you're just going to push her away like you did me, and everyone else who tries to get close to you...?" Vince didn't answer. He couldn't even look at Ducky.
"It won't work, and you are not dedicating the rest of your life to being our bodyguard." Vince insisted with finality. "Isn't that what Suanni are meant to do?" Vince rolled his eyes. “As an occupation, yes, but typically those jobs are temporary. Unless, like in your case, the guard is psychotic.” Ducky frowned. "Oh, okay, so now i'm psychotic for wanting to protect my friend and his happiness." Vince sighed. "Wanting to protect your friends and their happiness is fine, but trying to ensure that through a lifetime of servitude is something else entirely. I know you're devoted, but please just use your head a little." Vince insisted. "If that's what it takes, I have no problem with it. It's not like my life is going anywhere otherwise..." Vince rubbed his head and sighed. “And therein lies the problem. Find meaning in your life for yourself, rather than vicariously through the happiness of others, please.”
Ducky ignored Vince's request, sidestepping it just as Vince had for the topics he didn't want to talk about. "Alright. So I'm psychotic, but what does that make you? You're willing to self-sacrifice and not even try for happiness." Vince gave Ducky's question some measurable thought. “I’m..... Pandora’s box.” Vince said finally, earning an eye roll from Ducky at his dramatic comparison. Vince chuckled a little at Ducky's annoyance, desperate to find some shred of humor in all of this messy and emotional business. "Oh come on, you have to admit that's pretty good." Vince insisted, giving Ducky a bit of a nudge. "Right. Next you'll say Olive is Pandora and she's going to open you up or something, and that's the real reason you don't pursue her." Vince shrugged. "Something like that.""OH MY GOD." Ducky smacked Vince's shoulder in annoyance. Vince couldn't stop laughing though. "Calm down, it’s just a metaphor. An accurate one, but a metaphor nonetheless.” After huffing and relaxing again from Vince's terrible and cheesy references, Ducky sighed. "....What makes you think leaving her would keep her safe, anyways?" Vince's smile slowly fell again at the thought. “Because... The less I interact with her, the less valuable she seems as a target, a hostage.... the better.” He explained. After that, things between the boys were quiet once again, and soon, a voice entered Vince's head. The ball is coming to a close. Are you ready to return to Hoenn? Vince silently consented, glancing to Ducky. "Thank you. I guess.... I'll see you around..." It wasn't the most satisfying conversation, he still felt knots in his stomach over all of his conflicting emotions and thoughts, but... He supposed it did feel nice to confess them and get them off his chest, even if they remained largely unresolved. With that, Vince disappeared as he was teleported back to Hoenn.

Leona's cheeks flushed a bit with embarrassment as Nick agreed to get her an Xtransceiver when they returned from the ball. Was that what the device was called? If so, she had really bungled up the name, and Nick had either somehow not noticed or was kind enough to subtly correct her.
Then, as Temperance returned to introduce herself, she also inquired what relationship Leona and Nick had, guessing that they were courting before admitting it'd been a joke. "Ah, I see. Well I daresay say Nikolaus' reaction was worth it." She chuckled. After apologizing for making Nick spit his champagne and offering him napkins, Temp left some parting words, and Leona took her suggestion into consideration. White Forest.... It didn't sound familiar but she had always had a better memory with images than names. "I shall verily do so. Thou hast mine thanks." Leona nodded appreciatively.
It was probably good that Temp left when she did, since Nick quickly handed Leona his drink which was now full again. Once was a coincidence, but twice was suspicious. "Nikolaus... Hast thee been refilling thy chalice whilst I conversed with lady Stonewall?" She asked seriously. He had insisted that one drink would not hurt him and she'd believed him, but if that was the case and he hadn't been refilling his glass, he wouldn't have been handing over his mostly full glass looking as dazed and flushed as he did now. Regardless, Nick slurred something in German and was trying to loosen his tie. "Nikolaus! I beseech you!" Leona felt irritated, stopping the author from continuing to try and take more clothing off. "Come, sit. I shall fetch thee some water." Leona waved a waiter over and made her request, which was soon rewarded with some cold refreshing ice water which she forced Nick to take and encouraged him to drink, cursing herself for letting him slip a few drinks past her.
Zero couldn't help but chuckle at Isis' response to a little smudge on the camera, and with a touch less stiffness he squeezed in for one more photo. Nova certainly seemed happy to hear it wasn't a blunder on her part that ruined the photo, and happily went to work taking a second one. Yet, even with this, Isis still found herself spooked, and unaware of the ball of flame hovering over his shoulder the young man tried to approach and see the photo with a woman peeking over between them. "What is it this time, Isis?"
Fortunately for the blonde, though, her silver haired friend didn't get too close with his little stowaway before she announced herself.

The words reverberated in Zero's ears and down his spine, drawing his gaze to the source. The ethereal ball of flame hovered over his shoulder for a few seconds before finally giving way to a familiar image, the snow-haired form taken by the ghost that took refuge within him. To him, he could see and feel her quite clearly, even when the nature of her manifestation left her no taller than a doll perched on him. But to others, she simply appeared as a typical wisp from a far, and her true, transparent form only came into view when in close proximity.

"Nein! Ich habe nicht! I did not!" Nikolaus insisted honestly in response to Leona asking if he had been refilling his glass. He knew he didn't refill his glass, nor did he intend on drinking more than what he had started with. If he wasn't already dazed from the champagne, he might have been able to realize that his glass had been refilled by a waiter when he wasn't looking. It felt uncomfortably hot in here for him, so he started to loosen his tie. Leona stopped him, but he didn't feel angry at all. "Ahaha~ Fraulein, no need zum zhat grumpy gesicht~" he chuckled, managing to unbutton his shirt more before his companion insisted he sit down and drink some water.
Instead of sitting down however, Nikolaus had threw an arm around Leona, invading her personal space and sort of hanging on her. "Danke für das vasser, Schatz~" he smiled, accepting the glass and sipping it. After a few gulps, he set the glass down before returning his attention to Leona. "Shall ve dance more, my lady?" the drunken author asked, already moving his body to some music that wasn't playing.

Leona squinted suspiciously at Nick as he energetically insisted that he hadn't gotten more than his one drink."Then why dost thou reek of it?" She demanded, arching a brow. Instead of directly answering her, Nick merrily commented about her being grumpy, or at least that was what little Leona could pick up on as he slurred between English and German. His accent was so thick now that even when he spoke English, it was hard for Leona to tell.
Nevertheless, keeping Nick from stripping was proving about as difficult as plugging leaks. The moment she stopped him from undoing his tie, he managed to unbutton more of his shirt. Leona didn't really have a problem with seeing skin, it didn't really affect her, but she knew that undressing publicly wasn't a good idea. She hurriedly got Nick a glass of water, urging him to sit, but instead he hung on her shoulders in a rather unflattering manner. People were beginning to stare and take pictures again, but this time unlike their dance, Leona really did not want the attention. Entering the near empty banquet hall, Olivia frowned when she didn't immediately see Vince still sitting at the bar. A look around the room revealed that he wasn't even in the area. Figuring she might get answers from the last person she knew had seen him, she approached the bar. "Excuse me. Would you happen to know where my friend went?" she inquired of the bartender, who was dutifully cleaning out glasses. He glanced up from his work, "oh, him? He stormed up to the balcony soon after you left. Your other friend, Mr. Cheery, followed him up there." Unable to hide her frown, she thanked the man then went upstairs to the balcony. What she found there was an area devoid of people, but with a lovely view of the gardens from down below. She tensed momentarily at this discovery, Vince hadn't seen her down there, had he? The pinkette instinctively pulled out her communicator, to see if she'd somehow managed to miss any texts from her friend, but found that it was free of any texts or calls. From anyone.
She frowned again, but didn't linger and headed back down into the banquet hall. Taking a seat at the stool, the bartender looked up once more. "Back so soon? I guess your friend wasn't up there." Olivia nodded, though her gaze was settled onto the wall behind him rather than the man himself. "Well. I didn't see him come back down, so if he isn't up there my guess is he got a ride home." Olivia nodded, slower this time, "That's what I was thinking." She turned around in her stool, back to the bar, and gazed out at the banquet hall. With how many people had been in it before, it suddenly felt... lonely. "...We're about to shut down for the night. But, can I interest you in a drink?" She turned her head slightly, just enough to catch the bartender in her gaze, before she offered him a soft smile. "No thank you. I'd rather the end the night on a dry note, you know?" The man, smiling back, shrugged gently. "Can't say I do, but... that might be because of my occupation," he joked.
Olivia laughed before she turned back around, her gaze fixating on the ground just outside the window. She knew she had to go, or else be kicked out, but... there was something about the finality of 'closing time' that filled her with a sense of peace. She swung her legs out, and resisted the urge to take her shoes off -- only to immediately decide that, castle or not, she was alone, and had done enough walking for one night, in a pair of uncomfortable high heels, to deserve a bit of shoe reprieve. Minutes passed by, with the pinkette simply just staring out, before a voice inside of her head told her to go. Or well, two voices: her own, and Elgyem, "I've retrieved the keycard. Leave now. I will reunite with you in Slateport." Olivia sighed, grabbed both shoes in one hand, then turned to the bartender. "Have a good night~" she remarked, cheerfully but tiredly. "You do the same."
The tiled floor was cool underneath the soles of her feet, and Olivia took her time trying to find a butler to teleport her back. She refused to think about the results of her 'mission', success or not, and what that meant going forward, or whether or not she should have been worried or irritated -- maybe a bit of both -- that Vince had left her, without notice. Instead, she took comfort in watching the waitstaff and pokemon join together to begin cleaning up, and the cool sensation underfoot. Upon finding a butler, capable of taking her home, it was as easy as giving him her previous location and closing her eyes, in anticipation of the rush to come. When it did come she was unprepared, just like before, and was left with a sense of nausea that, while disorientating, was at least familiar. And she could understand that.
