Temperance let out a heavy sigh as the woman went on to demand several other, unrealistic things. It was hard for her to figure out if it she was merely joking or serious. Whatever the case, there wasn't any time to respond before the woman vanished with the aid of an Abra. "Huh..." Temperance sighed. Looking down at the ball in her hand she tightened her grip on it. "Have I just made an enemy or an ally?" She muttered. Shaking her head, the blonde turned away, heading out of the factory.
It wasn't long before she finally made her way back to the Pokemon Center. She felt perhaps it wasn't in her best interest to go an approach that young girl and her mother, after what had just happened.... Though she still felt bad about taking the rainbow crystals and those two Tm's. The blonde was lost in thought, unaware she was in the direct path of another trainer who... was for the most part disoriented himself, though for entirely different reasons.

Gavyn wasn't paying much attention to where he was walking, still pondering about where exactly he was. Merlin said this was the same region he had started in and got Elizabeth. It was a very unfamiliar region to him, and it felt weird to not have traveled here by foot. The tall male stopped as he felt himself bump into someone, instinctively reaching out to steady them by their shoulders. "O-oh, pardon me, miss. I am sorry, I was not paying attention to where I was walking. Are you alright?" he apologized in a gentle tone.

Upon bumping into another person, Temperance readied herself for an apology, albeit it almost came out rather regal, if it hadn't of been for the male before her apologizing first. She had time to properly think of an actual response. "No problem." Short. Simple. Perfect. But... it felt... empty? She wasn't very good at this whole "Normal" thing. "Uhh, I wasn't really paying much attention to my foot path either." That was better? Noticing the Clefairy nearby, Temperance's eyes seemed to reflect the smile that was forming across her lips. "Have a good day now." With that she motioned her own Pokemon to follow her as she made her way towards the front counter of the Pokemon Center to heal up her team and reserve a room for the night.

The tall male retracted his arms, hands falling to his sides, fingers picking at his sleeves. "That is qui-quite alright. Um, h-have a pleasant day." he replied with a smile, albeit a slightly nervous one. He was still rather skittish around people, perhaps even more so now that he was away from his newly made friends, Darren and Sable. Gavyn stayed standing where he was awkwardly, as the woman had gone to the counter like he was headed. He didn't want to go up right after her, since he didn't want to seem like he was following her or anything. After a while - and a few people going ahead of him - he went to the counter to ask for a room. Once he got a key, he decided to take a bit of a rest from all the excitement in his given room, settling down on the bed with a light groan, taking off his shoes before laying back on the bed to stare at the ceiling.

Slipping into her room, Temperance quickly found herself on one of the beds. Tossing her bag to the other side of said bed. Sitting in the silence for a moment she looked around the room she was staying in. It was hardly what she'd expected. Growing up in a castle was certainly... extra, compared to this. One large bed, a stand beside the bed, A Television mounted on the wall over a large dresser. In the corner of the room rested a table with a couple chairs, one extra chair folded up and leaning against the wall, and finally a large window that looked out towards the city street. It was... "Quaint." Temperance muttered. Azalev and Daphnes sauntered up at her feet, looking diligently up at her, as if wondering what they were going to do next. Temperance looked down at her Pokemon, no doubt tired from the long day they'd had. "I think I'm going to take a bath." Temperance stated with a gentle smile. Standing she stretched out her body. She wasn't as sore as she'd thought she'd be.
Inside the bathroom, there was a toilet and a shower/bath combo. Not quite the giant 2o+ foot open air bath she was used to. It looked... far more western than her own bath. Still, it provided the privacy she so desired after a long day. No guards lurking near the entrance or exit, no attendants trying to scrub her back for her. Sitting at the edge of the bath, she started the water, got it to a decent temperature, then corked the tub to let it fill with water. On the vanity, a series of toiletries rested, tiny shampoo and conditioner, lotion... and.. "Are these incense sticks?" Temperance was no stranger to them. She found it odd they'd be here though. Holding it to her nose she smelt what had to be something like Lavender. "Oh, that smells nice. " Wrapping herself in towel quickly, she peeked out into the room, finding Daphnes and Azalev getting acquainted with the new addition to the team, Epona. "Daphnes, could you assist me?" Temperance called out. The Bagon looked back, then jumped down from the table and dashed over to Temperance, looking up curiously. "Could you light this? A tiny flame will do." She asked. The Bagon did just that, summoning what had to be... a burp of a flame. It was enough to ignite the incense stick.
Though... as soon as she did, the lights in their room began to flicker... the Tv turned on all by itself, flipping through static and random channels. "What in Arceus' name?" Temperance demanded, standing up fully. A chuckle then erupted into the room, and from the TV a Pokemon appeared!

Temperance held a hand to her chest, realizing a moment later the incense stick she still held. "Did this thing..?" No, that was preposterous. How or why would a simple incense summon a random Rotom? As the noise within the room settled, the sound of the running water gained Temperance's attention. Quickly she turned and upon seeing the half-full tub she stuck the incense inside it. A bit of ash and smoke rose as the flame on the incense was extinguished, but as she lifted it from the water, she found the end... still burning. "How in the world?" Sticking it in once more, this time she was met with resistance... as if something was keeping her from submerging the stick in to the water a second time.
A tentacle as it seemed to be appeared from the water, wrapping itself around Temperance's wrist. She felt a sudden weakness envelop her and before long she fell back clutching the towel with her other hand to keep it wrapped around her. The tentacle released her wrist as the rest of its body appeared. The owner of said appendage was a Frillish, a nasty jellyfish-like ghost that dwelled usually in the ocean. "W-what are you doing in my bath water?" Temperance asked, though her words were wavered and hushed. Daphnes burst into the bathroom, giving the Frillish no time to react. A quick Bite to its tentacle and the ghost reeled in pain, vanishing back into the water.

Staring at the tub of water in utter disbelief, the blonde's gaze was drawn down to the incense stick once more when a strong waft of the scent passed her nose. "If I can't douse it..." She muttered. Sitting up, she submurged her hand into the water, quickly pulling it back up, then, with her thumb and forefinger she pinched the end of the stick. She could only hold on for a few seconds before the pain of her burning flesh was to much. With a frustrated bite of her tongue, the blonde then attempted to snap the incense in half, met once more with resistance... This time she was knocked back, her back hitting the toilet. The incense floated up into the air, a Misdreavus revealing herself with a grin on her face. Behind her a Gastly and Phantump appeared. An odd trio, but Daphnes wasn't phased. Seeing the ghosts he quickly lashed out, leaping off the wall to grab the Misdreavus in his jaws. A strong bite down and he ended the fem ghoul, He then stood before Temperance, baring his teeth. "If I can't douse it, suffocate it or break it... there is only one thing left to do. Out last it." Temperance stated. Pulling herself back up into a standing position, she tugged on her pants and hoodie. She couldn't very well continue to battle wearing nothing but a towel could she?

Tugging on her jacket next, Temperance looked to her team, then up to the window. It was magic hour. People were likely settling down and getting ready to sleep, she couldn't very well continue this in the middle of the Pokemon Center could she? It was far to noisy she assumed, which meant she'd have to go someplace more secluded. Perhaps that abandoned factory she'd been at previously? Was that girl still there? Well, she'd deal with that if she was was. For now, they had to move out. "Let's go someplace less crowded to deal with these ghosts." Temperance instructed.
Leaving their room, a wall monitor suddenly began to spaz, signaling the arrival of another Rotom. The ghost appeared with a smile, quickly blocking Temperances' path. Daphnes quickly dealt with this one as it'd done the other Rotom, opening the path once more for them to continue moving. All the while, Azalev was feeling... neglected? No, useless was a better word. Daphnes had type advantage while Azalev had nothing to help with these ghosts. It a bird could pout he certainly was. But then a scent caught his nose... something familiar that he'd smelt before back at the lab. Yes.. this was a special concoction that only a few of the Pokemon received, and in turn.... they came out stronger after eating it. Perhaps? With this thought in mind and a scent to follow, Azalev took off. Temperance noticed the running blue blur. "Azalev!?" She called after the bird... but he was gone. What in the world made him run off like that? Surly a second Rotom and their fourth ghost so far hadn't scared him that badly?

Chasing after Azalev eventually brought Temperance to what appeared to be the Cafeteria area of the Pokemon Center. For a short little stubby bird, he sure ran fast... perhaps he was fueled by food? "Perhaps Azalev was a closet glutton?" Temperance attempted to joke. Continuing onward she asked a few people if they'd noticed a Piplup run through, some gave her vague answers, but a handful were actually helpful. Eventually she found herself standing at two large silver doors. Pushing them open she peeked inside finding a eagerly eating Piplup on an island, a Blissey nearby chuckling at the bird's appetite. "If you were this hungry you could of warned me." Temperance stated, stepping into the kitchen. The Blissey chuckled once more and came over with a plate for Daphnes as well. "Oh, thank you." Temperance smiled, giving a gentle bow to the Blissey. She'd heard food was free for trainers... even still she did feel a bit odd accepting these two meals.
Though, before much else could continue one ward, a clattering came from another room. Azalev looked up, mouth full of whatever it was he was eating... it looked like stir fry? Swallowing what he had in his mouth, he stood up tall, then from some adjacent doors, a Golett appeared rather suddenly, using Astonish as if to startle everyone in the room, Azalev.. was startled, but from this startling incident, he unleashed the food... and much more from his mouth. "Woah!" Temperance ducked back, holding up her arms. That was a Hydro Pump!

Food in their bellies, it was quite apparent the duo were very happy with the meal they'd received. Temperance once more thanked the Blissey, and apologized for the appearance of the Golett that suddenly appeared. "Come now, We must leave everyone in peace." Temperance stated, beckoning her Pokemon to follow her. They obliged, with full bellies it seemed they were eager to work off the meal with some battling.
Leading the group to the entrance of the Pokemon center, their path was blocked just before leaving the doors. Before them stood another Golett. Azalev stepped up, ready to use his new attack on more. The ghost seemed barely intimidated. It moved forward, at a pace that Temperance wasn't entirely expecting, pounding into Azalev with enough force to send the penguin into a nearby chair. Azalev recovered quickly, and with deep breath in, his chest puffed up nearly twice it's previous size, and with his exhale came a strong torrent of water. The Golett stood no chance, fainting on the spot. Behind the Golett, a man stood in what appeared to be a butler uniform. At his side floated an Abra. He held forward a piece of paper folded neatly in half. In his other arm he held what appeared to be several more. "For... me?" Temperance asked. Accepting the invitation, she read the words written upon it. "Winter Gala... Oh" She looked down. Could she accept something like this?
In her mind.. two things popped into view. Team Royale, but also.. dapper dressed individuals that possibly held strong Pokemon. Surely Team Royale would not try anything while she was there. Besides, something being held at a 'Palace' seemed a reasonable thing for a Princess to be at. "Oh, but I don't have anything to wear at such an occasion." Temperance mentioned. The man waved his hand, motioning again to the invitation. "Dress and suit rentals with Teleportation?" Well.... She looked down, finding Azalev had recovered well from his fight, Daphnes at his side. "Would you two like to go?" The looked at one another... rather confused. Azalev shrugged, and Daphnes looked back at Temperance blankly. "It may be fun. And besides, it might keep these ghosts away for a little while." How wrong she was on that front. But, there was no time to linger more on the subject. The Abra took that as a yes, and with a simple whisk of it's psychic powers, the group were teleported away.

Gavyn had fallen asleep, leaving Merlin to pace around on his own. The Clefairy was a lot more energetic at this time than his partner, so he was hoping to get out and do something. Weighing the pros and cons in his head before deciding, the fairy came up with an idea. He should be able to handle himself well enough for a little walk around this new town while Gavyn slept, right? Merlin quietly left the room to go on his secret little adventure.
He managed to go unnoticed for the most part, looking around the town and noting to himself the whereabouts of the gym, so that he could show Gavy later. It was a quiet little town, and there wasn't much going on at the time. It wasn't until he reached the edge of town by the forest that he found something of interest.
"Have you come to hear your demise?" a rather cheery voice called to him from between the trees. Merlin tilted his head, going over to investigate the voice. Now looming over him was a pokemon of which he had never seen. It was like an owl with a hood. Her voice certainly didn't match up with the topic of which she was speaking, though, which was a bit creepy. "I wasn't really looking for that. Say, what kind of pokemon are you anyways?" Merlin replied cautiously. She tilted her head and laughed. "Fufufufufu~ I am a Decidueye, Merlin. I am called Juniper, the wandering gypsy." she replied with a slight bow. Merlin felt like an ice cube ran down his back as she addressed him by name, without him even introducing himself. That was... weird!

The unfamiliar and sickening feeling of being teleported once more took over Temperance as she appeared back at the main lobby of the Pokemon Center. Taking a seat right away, the blonde quickly noticed she was now back in her own clothes. A thought popped into her head. Grabbing her bag she found nothing new, it was her back pocket that held the note with Austin's number. Her back pocket. Her gaze ventured to the man and his Abra... it likely wasn't that Abra. Well, whatever she was back, that was all that mattered. A flipper landed on her knee pulling her back to her own area. "Azalev." Temperance smiled, resting a hand on his head. "Let's get a room and deal with the rest of those ghosts, then we can get some sleep and head to the gym tomorrow." She had a lot on her mind now, with Austin, Leona, and the various other people she'd met. "Oh, but first.. I need to contact Umbra." Azalev nodded.
Heading to the counter, Temperance asked Nurse Joy to check over Din, Azalev, Epona and Daphnes while she made her phone call. Once they were settled, she moved over to the phones and quickly made a call, leaning in close as to block anyone else from seeing her conversation. Within a few rings, a fuzzy image appeared, a dark-skinned woman with gold and silver beading all through her hair smiled back at Temperance. "Tamara?" She cooed, making light of Temperance's nickname. "Hello, Amber." Temperance replied with her own grin. "I have to make this quick sadly. I'd like for you to look up some information on a knight for me." Umbra tilted her head, rather curious as to what Temperance meant. "Her name is Leona Cardonell. Any information on her would be appreciated." "Understood. What about you? How are you doing?" Temperance gave a nod. "I'm fine. I've made some contacts, I enjoyed a bit of home in the form of a gala." "A gala huh? Some fine dinning, drink, people? I would of loved to see that." Umbra grinned. "Yea.. save the dress they put me in. Very uncomfortable." Temperance replied.
From behind the signal for Pokemon being fully healed went off, which reminded Temperance she had to keep this short. "I have to go, Amber. It was nice seeing you again." She smiled. "Keep Aunty safe." With that, the two broke the communication. Temperance stood up and quickly returned to the lobby counter, retrieving her Pokemon. It wasn't long after that they were resting in the room, watching Azalev and Daphnes take on some ghost-type Pokemon. Epona had calmed down, but was for the most part keeping her distance from Temperance. Din.. though fully healed seemed to favor sleeping above all.

And, with the look of all the miners heading to work, that wasn't much of an understatement. Now, none of this really mattered to Dallas, as he could only look up at the big imposing mountain that loomed in the background. "So, that's Mt. Coronet, huh?" ✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Dallas decided to take the team up to the Pokemon Center for the time being, to see if his Pokemon were prepared for the trek. "Honestly guys, this gonna be a real pain in the a**," he coached his team, all of which lounged around the thug as he thought over their next step. He has some items he hadn't gotten around to using to help out his team, so it was a good time to work on that. "Okay, here, Buns, hold onto this." He handed a special stone to the bunny pokemon, who fumbled it for a moment before getting a firm hold. "I don't know what it does, but it'll probably come in handy." He also found a good use of an Expert Belt, that he carefully tied to the end of Riptide's tail.
Dallas, Oh Dallas, I have a question for you! If ya take a listen, then you won't be missin'- Meloetta had been singing her question to her trainer, but as she tried to spin, she ended up tripping herself up. "You know, I always figured you'd be a little more coordinated for a legendary Pokemon," Dallas noted. Meloetta sulked a little. I know, and that's how I feel, too. It's like I don't remember something I used to do so often! Dallas furrowed his brow at the pokemon's response, but quickly came up with a plan. With a quick rummaging through his bag, he found a mushroom. "Here, eat this. They're supposed to make you remember something you forgot." Meloetta accepted the mushroom with a smile. "So, you remember anything, Melo?" he asked the Melody Pokemon. I think I do, she replied, I think it's a song of some sort. A very, very old one... Meloetta rubbed her head as she stepped with her trainer, though he steps were getting much more graceful. "Well hey, looks like something shook loose! You know, we should get you in a contest sometime." Meloetta blushed, and her eyes shimmered. Really!? Honest and true, like the sky and sea of blue?! A dooby dooby doo?!
"Yeah, yes, honest and true, you little spaz. Once we're done training, we'll give it a shot." Meloetta cheered, and began dancing around joyfully as the two of them headed for the mountain.
