Let me tell you a little bit about my past. I was born June 25th in the small town of Verdanturf where the air was clean and the grass was green. That’s right! I’m from the Hoenn Region! I always loved Beautiful Scenes and Sparkling Things, and often as a child I would stop and stare for hours on end. My older brother Zack would always poke fun at my Small Attention Span, and one day told me; “Take a picture Nikki, it’ll last longer.” He was teasing me of course, but at the time, I thought it was a brilliant idea, so I bought a camera and I haven’t stopped Taking Pictures ever since! How I dreamed of Traveling Around The World and Taking Pictures Of My Journey, however in order to travel on my own, I needed a Pokemon Team to take me there, so I had to attend a Trainer’s School. At the time, I didn’t understand that the world was a dangerous place without pokemon to protect me, so when I took the class I was reluctant at first. But, as I began to battle, study, and learn more about pokemon, I fell in love with the Beauty Of A Battle. Much like drawing, singing, cooking, and dancing, I discovered that Pokemon Battles were an art too! I went out and traveled to different tournaments and contests, always at the front lines and taking amazing shots. My pictures got so famous that I got a job as a Professional Photographer under a well renowned magazine called Coordinator Culture. I’m the one who takes the pictures that go along with the different articles!
However, I had forgotten the main reason why I took the trainer classes in the first place. My fascination for pokemon, and the beautiful art they create in both contests and battles, got me sidetracked, and eventually my lack of pokemon would pay a price. Instead of taking the bus, I stupidly traveled on foot along Route 113 to my next destination; a contest being held in Fallarbor Town. The ash in the air obscured my vision, and I was unknowingly heading towards a Skarmory Nest. I soon learned how grave my mistake would be. Angry, territorial, and protective, the mother Skarmory Attacked without warning. I was stuck at first, confused and unsure of what was happening as the steel blades of its wings slashed seemingly from every direction, but I eventually managed to break away, seeking cover in a glass blower’s house nearby before passing out. I woke up the next day resting in my bed back at Verdanturf, battered, bruised, and completely scraped up, but alive. I learned my lesson the hard way, and promised my worried family and coworkers to start training my own team as soon as I recovered. Back on the track I had started all those years ago, I went on my way to get a Starter Pokemon from Professor Birch.
Personality-wise, I would describe myself as Bright and Bubbly. I like to keep a Positive Outlook on things, even if deep down I know my odds aren’t so good. I’d like to think that I’m a Social Butterfree, bonding with people and pokemon alike with ease. I’ve developed a love for certain Aesthetics in a picture, and tend to take a Quick Snapshot whenever I get the chance. You’ll never catch me without a Camera around my neck! I guess I can be Stubborn sometimes because I Stand Up For What I Believe In, even in the face of danger.

I’m pretty Physically Fit; gotta Exercise, Stay Healthy, and keep a solid Daily Routine if I'm going to beat the crowds at events! Sometimes to take a great picture you have to climb a mountain, both literally and figuratively, so it’s best if I have the stamina to do it. I love to take Morning Jogs at dawn. I’m hard to keep up with if you aren’t an Early Bird like me!
I love Art of all kinds and natures, including the art of Pokemon Battling. If I ever get caught in the Rain I’ll never be upset~ My cameras are usually of the waterproof variety so I can take pictures in the rain, should the Aesthetics be up to my standards. I really like food in general, there's nothing that I won't eat. I'm Not Picky at all! However because of this, my tastes tend to be a little on the Eccentric side. I love the thrill of Adventure, the thought of Traveling Around the World gets my blood pumping! Just think of all the pictures out there yet to be taken! However, adventures can be quite dangerous. I hate any Unnecessary Violence and Bullies, and I’m afraid of Death, but isn’t everyone?
My favorite type of Pokemon? You can’t ask me that! I love all types~ Though I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be Dragon type. They’re so majestic! And my least favorite type would probably be Ghost Type. Ghosts are way too creepy and scary for me to really want around. I've never liked Horror or Gore, I can never walk through things like Haunted Houses, it's just so scary! I don't understand the appeal.
If I had to pick a song that best represented me, it would probably be Born To Fly. However, as confident and optimistic as I seem to others, I actually have a fairly poor Self Image. I love looking at the world around me and learning about other people. It all seems so much more Interesting and Beautiful than little old me.
Beginning her journey meant a whirlwind right from the start. From the moment she got her first two pokemon, Isis has made new friends and found lifelong partners for pokemon. However, what really kickstarted her journey was a race around the pokemon world and a challenge with her friends to see who would get the furthest. Isis being the slightly competitive person she was, took the challenge seriously, and trained hard, taking her first six gym battles by a storm to earn the HM fly and really start racing. With the ability to fly at hand, Isis rose quickly through the ranks with the help of her pokemon as an unexpected dark horse, and ended up winning the race. With some amazing pictures of her journey, she planned to write an article of her experience for Coordinator Couture once she was back on the job.
Little did she know that winning that race would turn her life around. The grand prize was a gold and silver plated pokeball, called a GS ball, however, try as she might, Isis couldn't get it to open, so she went to an old poke ball maker named Kurt to see what advice and information he could give. As it turned out, Kurt was the one who made the ball, fusing the gold and silver plating with Ho-oh and Lugia feathers. According to Kurt, there was a legend that if someone brought Ho-oh and Lugia feathers to the Ilex forest shrine, the forest guardian would bless them. She also found out that there was a pokemon inside of the GS ball, but it was still sealed shut, so Kurt suggested that Isis test out the legend and see if the forest guardian would unseal the poke ball if Isis used the imbued feathers as an offering. Figuring she had little to lose by trying, Isis made her way to the shrine.
It took her a moment to figure out exactly how to make the offering properly, but it was obvious when it worked. The ball hovered and glowed and opened to reveal a Celebi with a little bell around it's neck, and suddenly Isis was enveloped in a warm light, sending her back into the past with a challenge to face. The GS ball had changed in time, reverting back to the silver and gold colored feathers within it. A new Celebi without a bell scattered the feathers, leaving without a trace, and Isis was forced to head back into Azalea to try and figure out what happened. She discovered by conversing with a much younger Kurt that she had traveled back it time about 60 years. She was going to have to connect all the dots, bringing Kurt the scattered feathers back from Ilex so Kurt could make the GS ball and Isis could catch Celebi with it. This way, Isis could travel back to her own timeline and close the loop.
Once she succeeded in doing this, Isis knew she had to be careful with how she used Celebi's time traveling powers. One wrong move and history would be rewritten. Her time traveling this go around had already come at a strange price, her right eye had was now a shade of silver, rather than it's natural golden hue. According to Kurt, time anomalies were apparently not uncommon. However, with Celebi under her control now, Isis was no longer in danger of these anomalies without outside interference. Still, Isis protects her secret carefully, and chooses to use time travel sparingly.
Isis recuperated in Azalea for a while, taking her time to relax for a change after the rush of the race, but she couldn't stay in Azalea forever, there were badges to be won and adventures that awaited her, so Isis left Kurt and the townspeople behind to return to her home region. Shortly after, she reconnected with some old familiar faces, her friends Shayna, Zero, and Alice. They exchanged stories over their Xtransciever and made plans to meet up again some time, though Isis particularly needed to meet with Zero again. Long ago one of his closer friends had up and vanished, and now Isis had a means of figuring out what had happened. In secret, Isis had Zero tell her more about the mysterious disappearance of his friend Alex before traveling to Mossdeep City–Alex's last seen location–and going back in time to find out what happened. She met with Zero to reveal the information, but with her new case of heterochromia and super sleuthing skills, Zero grew suspicious, and Isis was forced to reveal what she'd been hiding; he Celebi. Zero swore to secrecy, and together they began to travel and find more clues. Zero was determined to collect more badges, living Alex's dream for her, and Isis was more than happy to accompany him. She spent her travels writing an article for Coordinator Culture on her travels during the race. Time passed, and word spread that the Chingling Brothers Fair had come back into town. Isis was interested in going, but Zero had to stay behind, wanting to defeat Norman before joining her.
Reluctantly, Isis left Zero to his battle and made her way to the Fair, meeting up with Shayna and her new friend David, and together they all played games and rode rides at the fair, battling with other trainers and leaving their pokemon to play with each other. Eventually Zero came to join them, flashing his newly acquired badge, and to celebrate the group continued to enjoy the fair the rest of the day, and Isis treated him to some congratulatory cheesecake before they all had to go home. Months passed, Summer turned into Autumn, and soon Halloween was on the rise. With it came mysterious invitations to Isis and Zero to a grand ball, and after getting their costumes, they were transported to a beautiful mansion. However, the ball was not at all what they'd expected. What started out as a nice event turned into a chaotic whirlwind of zombies and mind games, things that Isis can never unsee. To make matters worse, one of Isis' pokemon, Ebony, died protecting her, because Isis couldn't get her to the Pokemon Center in time after she escaped the mansion. The fact that she was unable to protect Ebony haunts her to this day, and has crippled her confidence as a pokemon trainer. With one badge left to go in the league, this was a difficult blow. Isis had to spend a lot of time recovering and mourning her loss, which included fighting with herself and her friends over the idea of using her Celebi to go back in time to try and save Ebony.
I've seen her before once or twice! She traded pokemon with Zero, and I saw her again at the Halloween ball. She seems nice, but I don't know her all that well.

Ah yes, the fiery tactician. Can't say I know her well, but it was nice of her to come check on me when I was still overcoming my panic attack at the Halloween Ball. I saw her again recently when trying to talk things out with Zero on Mt Pyre, and though she understandable wasn't exactly enthusiastic about it, she and her gardevoir gave some solid advice to me on how to cope with Zero's recent behavior.

A near and dear friend of mine. He likes making masks, I have one as a token of our friendship, and he used to be a big shot coordinator, but he's given that up now. I think it's because of Alex... We've traveled all over together, collecting badges and training our pokemon. He has a thing for ghosts and spirits, which I don't understand at all, but I'll still go to places like Mt. Pyre with him to train, and knowing me, that's quite an accomplishment. I'm helping him try and locate his long lost friend Alex, who disappeared mysteriously one day. Having the help of my Celebi has sped up his search, but we're still looking for answers. I hope she's alright, I know it would crush Zero's heart if something happened to her.

Shayna is such a sweet girl. I met her along with Zero in Petalburg woods a while back and we've practically been friends ever since. She picked a Torchic as her starter too, both of our starters have been pretty great friends. They certainly like training together! Shayna, Zero and I also traveled around together for a bit too, and we toured around this awesome carnival while it was in town, playing lots of games and going on all sorts of rides. I haven't talked to her in a while though, I saw her briefly at the Halloween Ball too. I hope she's doing okay....

Natalia.... For the longest time I thought she was dead, or worse. We used to be great friends when we were just kids in Trainer School, but as time went by, she began to change, and push me away, until we finally stopped talking. I thought maybe it was something I had done somehow to make her mad at me, until I heard on the news that her house was ransacked and her mother was found dead, with Natalia and her father both reported missing. Then I saw her in Azalea, but she ran away from me, and I just don't understand why.... She just blew me off and pretended like she didn't know what I was talking about, but she turned pale as a ghost when I saw her before she took off running, so clearly she remembers something.

A nice boy I met at the Tanabata, though he prefers to be referred to as a girl, so I'll do that. She's a sweetie, like a little sister, and my contest protege. She's very talkative and funny, she likes fairy types too, which is cool! It takes dedication to only train one type of pokemon, and Du is definitely the hard working type. She's very interested in contests, so I've been telling her all about them, and I'm gonna get her together with Machina so that they can make costumes together! I know she'll have a good time with that. I can tell that she likes to push Leon and I together, it's a bit embarrassing, but I guess I don't mind too much. We are a couple after all, so it's not awkward or anything. I'll be rooting for her in her future contests~

He is probably a bit young for me, but he's an old soul, and he's endured a lot in his life. I really can't help a part of me growing to love him after all we've been through and all the time we've spent traveling together. He's always there for me when I need him, he's been my shoulder to cry on, and I feel like we really understand each other. I'll admit that at times I get really snippy at him when he does stupid things like hide his flipping heart attacks like it's no big deal, but it's only because I worry for him. I'm officially in a relationship with Leon now though, and of course as soon as that started, I find out Zero had feelings for me too. Ugh this whole thing is just a mess. What am I supposed to tell him? I'm dating Leon now, so I can't really be in that kind of a relationship with him now. It's not like I didn't have feelings for him.... I just hope that we can work thinks out and still be friends....

It seems I probably misjudged Leon at first glance... Well no, that's not quite right. I did, misjudge him. There's no "probably" about it. Leon's a wonderful guy, charming, sweet, funny, a bit dorky even. It's cute~ And well, I have started dating him now because of that. He honestly wanted to be in a relationship with me, and how could I refuse? I think his flirting towards me at first made me bitter because of my past experiences, but now that I've gotten to know him on a more personal level, I know that Leon's feelings for me are genuine. I like spending time with him, even if it's just doing mundane things like cuddling on the couch, and I can't wait to see him again~ Though I'm sure he'll keep texting me while I'm away. Hehee >w<

It might seem harsh, but I'm not particularly fond of my big brother. He's only 5 years older than me, and yet he's pretty full of himself as an established ace trainer, though he was pretty cocky even before that. He always had to be better at everything he did, he would always tease me for anything I liked to do if he didn't approve, and in my opinion, is an all around a**. However, he's still family. He has protected me from danger time to time, even if he wasn't nice about it. I think there's a sort of mutual understanding between us that we're there when it counts, even though we have our disputes.

Now that they're trainers, I'm excited to see what they'll be able to accomplish.

I respect her a lot, even though I'm closer to the twins than I am her, but that's because I grew up raising the twins for her while she dealt with her mess of a life. Again, not that she's to blame for that. I do love her dearly though, and we have a pretty relaxed relationship now that she's settled down again.

My mom is a wonderful woman, an ex coordinator who took me to all kinds of contests when I was little so I could take lots of pictures. She fed my desire to become a contest photographer, and helped me practice. I think she enjoyed the contests anyways, so helping me was just a bonus and an excuse to go see them. Now that she's retired from the contest scene though, she's more of a stay at home mom type, tending to the house and her pokemon. She does however occasionally work as a pokemon groomer if she's requested specifically. I think she really enjoys it.

He's always been traveling across all corners of the world to battle and learn about different regions, their culture, and more.
