Crocus had honestly hoped they might be able to force the Queen's hand a bit, get her to answer them for once. He hadn't expected his Court members to attack her first, not that he blamed them. Most of them were starving and sleep deprived. All of them were looking for a way out of this mess and according to Taran the answer to that was defeating Altea.
Sadly, their initial attacks didn't seem to phase her much. He had stepped out from behind Avior a bit, curious to see his Court members in action. Before now, he had only been in a few scuffles of his own, thankfully knowing he couldn't get away from by himself. This was on a totally different level though. Even when her aura changed, erupting with chaos, he had to believe that his Court could take her down. They could do this if they work together. They might have been up against a Queen, but they had their own Royalty as well.
The Queen certainly was firing off her own attacks though, Crocus had to dodge one of her larger attacks, but a small shard of crystal grazed across his left cheek in the process. It stung a bit, but wasn't anything he needed to worry about at this moment. Because at this moment, Kiuchi was rushing in. What kind of big brother would he be if he let him go in alone?
He had only a moment to look up at Avior, "We'll be okay. We've got each other." He had been hurt a big from those daggers, protecting both Kiuchi and himself. He couldn't just let Avior handle everything on his own. As Crocus dashed around the Eternal to catch up with Kiuchi, he let his hand trace his friend's arm, before giving his hand one little squeeze.
His magic didn't require him to touch Altea, but he did need to get a bit closer. He caught up to Kiuchi and once he was just close enough for the magic to take effect, he called out to her. "It's time you experienced what it's like to go hungry. Saffron Hungry Call!" HIs magic burst out from him in a sweet smell, he knew it wouldn't harm his Court. Which was a good thing. None of them needed to be hungrier than they already were The Queen however? The irony of it all wasn't lost on him one bit.
The Space Cauldron
Crocus creates a sweet smell that lingers around himself, which can cause enemies to become confused in such a way that they're wondering what's caused that smell. It's a very sweet, somewhat spicy smell and makes any in the target area feel hungry. Last for 30 seconds! 6 foot radius around Crocus. *Does not affect anyone Crocus considers an ally*

Kibirev watched in utter horror as Miss Lesath attacked Altea. Miss Lesath…attacked Altea…
Miss Lesath attacked Altea.
It was like the whole world shattered. Her mentor, the one that got her into this whole mess in the first place…attacked one of the best things that had happened to her since she had been here. She hardly even heard the words that Lovejoy spoke, though when the queen seemed to lose her s**t as well, Kibirev flung herself in front of her friend. LJ didn’t need this. LJ was tired, and hungry and unhappy…and it was up to Kibirev to protect her.
She felt pain on her cheek as one of the shards sliced against it, and one side of her head…felt off.
Realization didn’t quite hit as to what happened until she saw something falling to the ground, and that something was one of her long, silky pigtails. For a long moment, the senshi just stared at it, open mouthed and slightly horrified. Then, finally she shook her head. “You’re all monsters! Altea did nothing to deserve this! I hate all of you!” The words were loud, and growing less coherent as they went on, and she looked over at the brown haired senshi who had called the grasses.“Soothing Foxglove!” The attack was shot at her. They had to calm down. All of them did. But…she could only do so much…
She shot the attack at the senshi making the fire as well, tears streaming down her face at both the loss of her pigtail and the unjustness of everyone hurting her Queen.
This was madness.

A glowing foxglove flower appears in Kibirev's hand and she blows it towards an ally or an opponent. When the attack makes contact, a feeling of calm overtakes them, steadying them and relaxing them. This feeling lasts for thirty seconds. The attack can reach as far as five feet and effects one person. The attack can be used twice per battle.

Lovejoy
Dark eyes blinked and the wind was knocked clean out of her lungs when Kibirev suddenly shoved her aside. Crystal shards pierced the skin of the pretty senshi - her best friend - and Lovejoy saw blood. Not her blood but Kelly's blood.
"Kibby!"
She'd been torn on what to do - follow her friend or her mentor in their attacks - seeing Kibirev attacked made LJ's decision easier. Much, much easier.
Spinning one finger in the air, she stepped forward and hollered "Confusion!" before pointing her finger in the direction of the Queen.
LJ knew in her heart that Kibs would be mad at her, but there was no way she was going to let this madwoman continue on with this spree, not if it could potentially kill the one person she cared about in this castle.

Sorry Kib, your confusion senshi is a little confused
The Space Cauldron
Sailor Scout Attack: Confusion! Spinning her finger in a circular motion, Lovejoy's attack strikes once her finger stops and points in her opposition's direction, shooting out into a swirly (yet directionally straight) line that goes out to a maximum of 10ft. If the attack is successful in its strike, it forces them under a momentary wave of confusion as to the current situation. This lasts for the duration of 1 RP post, the power waning and possibly still leaving the opponent disoriented for the 2nd RP post. Attack can pertain to however the opposing player wills it - confused as to where they are, why they are fighting, who they are, etc. This attack only affects 1 individual. x3 usage.

Acubens nearly puked when the queen dropped all semblance of control. It wasn't just the sudden barrage of her deeply deeply chaotic aura. It was the fact that... despite all of her hoping... all of her worrying... she had been right. And now they were trapped, here, in this world, how far from home, fighting something. It felt chaotic, but if it was able to hide her aura for so long... who knew what it really was.
Acubens cursed out loud, whirling around in time to see Kiuchi be pulled away from her. Panic rose until she saw a friendly face attached to the hand that took him. And then more. He was safe. Crocus was safe. More than that, they were fighting. There was no time to bask in her pride. Chaos was literally breaking lose and reigning terror. The attacks flew from her side in rapid succession; in one moment there were moths and in the next there was grassy cover. Somewhere in the back of her mind, Acubens recognized who had shot out what attack, but it didn't matter. Because everything was happening around her and it took Acubens a solid minute to realize what had happened. War had broken out in this tiny room.
And she had left Chione's ******** again.
Acubens cursed again, louder this time, and broke into a mad dash towards Chione and Elsa just as the crystals began to fly. One sliced open her thigh, blood soaking through her tights and making her leg sticky down to her knee. Another stuck in her bicep. Another nicked her under her left eye. She didn't care. She didn't even really feel it. All she cared about was that she had gone against her word and left Chione in the middle of chaos again. It didn't matter that she thought, at the time, that it had been for a good reason. Kiuchi could fend for himself now. He didn't need her. Chione did. When she finally came upon Elsa and Chione, she nearly slammed herself into the woman. Thank god they hadn't moved.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Chione. I promised you but I didn't I'm so sorry -- " as she spoke, blood trickled from her cheek into her mouth, filling it with the coppery taste of her injury. She. Didn't. Care. Acubens ignored the pain in her shoulder and held on to Chione tigher than she had ever held on.
"Elsa," she rasped, fear finally gripping her throat, "We have to get out of here. We can't fight this b***h in close quarters. We need to ambush her. Take her by surprise."

Basic Senshi Mithra
All at once it seemed that everything erupted into chaos when someone, she thought it may have been Lesath, sent out the first attack and at that point it was a free-for-all on Altea. She had been hidden by Leto's "attack" and for a moment hesitated as to whether or not she should actually go and try to punch the woman. After all, it didn't seem like this attack was all that well coordinated and they were just rushing Altea.
But... Mithra felt as though she had to do something, and so she rushed towards the queen, yelling out "Shrimp Punch!"
Mtihra puts out one of her fists as if she were to punch someone. This creates an air attack that, if it hits, makes the target feel as though they have been punched. She can throw out 2 punches per 10 seconds and lasts 10 seconds (she can only get 2 punches in pretty much).
They are non-lethal and non-maiming though they hurt quite a bit and can knock them back 5 feet at most. Opponents must also be within 1 foot of her hand, otherwise the spell does not effect them. Can only hit one opponent at a time.
She cannot block opponents attacks while doing this. She can however turn in a circle slowly to change direction.
So much for having an aura that wasn't of chaos or order. All caution seemed to have been thrown out the window as a few of their number - and some of the more powerful ones at that - began to attack Queen Altea. The rage she flew into seemed to cause her to attack indiscriminately. Well, if she wasn't going to be rational or reasonable about this, Sinope didn't see any reason to play nice and indulge her any longer. He didn't generally like to make enemies of people, but if she was going to attack them regardless, he figured he might as well have joined in the fight to defend themselves against her. With an aura as powerful as hers, it seemed like they would need every little bit of help they could get if they were even going to have a chance of overcoming her.
What to do, what to do...? Should he use his magic? If he really was a super senshi now, would it have improved since he'd been a basic senshi? At the very least, it could have drawn attention away from others and toward himself. Normally Sinope would have considered this counterintuitive for his own well-being, but if he couldn't really help in actual combat and others could, wasn't it better to let them be the ones to have the upper hand? If he bought them some time, they might have been able to do some actual damage to the crazed queen.
"Clover's Luck!"
"Huh?"
He glanced back at Sadalsuud as he heard her voice, but before he knew what was happening, she pressed a clover - her special, glowing clover that was somehow tied to her magic - into his hand. "Sadalsuud?" What if she needed it for herself, though? Why was she giving it to him?
There was no time to ponder that now. "Thank you," he told her, maneuvering to place himself before his friend and their new threat. He had never been one to play the hero or defender, but if she was going to place her trust in him and possibly offer him some sort of assistance that she might have otherwise been able to use for herself or someone else, he felt he owed it to her to at least try. If he had deprived her of something that could have helped protect her, he would just have to do his best to protect her with its power, whatever that power was.
Speaking of powers, now seemed as good a time as any to test his super one, especially if Sadal's magic was like Ptolemy's in that it had to work in conjunction with another senshi's to realize its true potential. Holding his ally's clover firmly but not so tightly as to crush it, he closed his eyes and tried to focus on how to activate his newest attack.
In an instant, his eyes shot open and he grinned, feeling a bit silly about his technique. With a cheeky wink at first Altea and then - for good measure, Taran on the ground, Sinope began to snicker. Wonder what this might do... If Altea was already too far in a rage to be bothered, then he doubted it would matter, but it was still amusing to think of how she might have reacted otherwise. Shame he hadn't allowed himself to use it on her when they'd first met the woman, but if she was this powerful, it might not have worked then, either.
"Dunno what good my magic will do, but I guess it's worth a shot," he chuckled softly to Sadalsuud, attempting to keep their spirits up despite the danger and havoc all around them. "We should probably keep back and let the more effective fighters handle the offense though, just in case it doesn't work."
- Seeing Sinope's wink causes the targets to be seized by the unshakable feeling that Sinope knows something about them they really don't want him to know (whether or not he actually knows it) - Hearing Sinope's snicker causes the targets affected by the primary effect to believe that Sinope somehow has the ability to act upon the information the target believes Sinope knows due to the primary effect and that nothing they do to him will be able to stop him
The player of the target can interpret as they see fit what their character thinks Sinope knows and how he might act on the knowledge. Sinope does not necessarily know whatever it is, nor will he necessarily act on it, but his attack causes his target to think he does know and can act on it while nothing done to him will be able to stop him, which serves as an unnerving distraction during battle.
The fight that began was unlike nothing Kissling had ever been in before. He hadn't the faintest idea of what to do. The senshi with the cracked arm that he had been talking to earlier got his cheek sliced open and his hair cut. Oh no! Was he going to be okay? What if he bled to death?
When the young man summoned a sea monster from his palm, however, Kissling fell back instinctively, alarmed. He had forgotten the fact that they could use magic. He'd forgotten he could use it, too, though his was nowhere near as threatening. Was there something he could use it for nonetheless?
The man called Taran...he was on the floor and defenseless. A senshi covered in snake symbols (Kiuchi) was saying they needed to keep him safe. After all Taran had been through, and if Altea really intended to kill him, Kissling agreed. However, the snake-symbol sailor scout and had already enlisted the help of a peer (Crocus) and two protective eternals (Avior & Acubens) so they seemed to have been covered.
Elsewhere, though, there was more trouble. A pastel-colored senshi (Kibirev) was shouting in outrage about how Altea had done nothing to deserve this. She, like the sea monster senshi (Hydrus) had both gotten unintentional hair cuts, but her rage seemed to be directed at her fellow court members for a different reason. Kissling admired her for standing up to all the others...and agreed with her on a certain level, too. Altea may have kept things from them, but he didn't necessarily believe she was irredeemably evil. The others had attacked first, too. Was there some way to stop the fighting or at least slow it?
As he watched, the pastel-colored senshi's magic seemed to spread and calm her targets. What an ideal power for putting a damper on the battle! If only he could do something like that. His own power, if he remembered right, could make people stop wanting to combat him, but what about the others? Would the fighting still go on around him? If he tried to use his magic on Altea, though, maybe he could get her to listen to them and see that not all of them - not the pastel senshi girl and himself at least - were against her. Maybe she could return to her senses instead of adding fuel to the fire and giving them more of a reason to want to attack her.
Doing his best to avoid the varied magic along with the crystal shards flying back and forth, Kissling slowly but surely made his way toward Altea. Though the lines between his steepled brows betrayed his distress, he tried to smile regardless. "Queen Altea...please calm down," he pleaded, though his pleas were likely drowned out by the sounds of everything else and her attention probably wasn't even on him. Actions spoke louder than words, though. "Kiss and Make Up!"
The magenta-haired senshi with the flame motif incorporated into her outfit had created a circle of fire around Altea with a three foot radius, so he couldn't get very close. Kissling was forced to keep at least a foot away from the flames themselves in order to avoid catching fire. He might not have been able to kiss her directly, but he could get as close as possible blow her one from his range, at least.
The Space Cauldron
Sailor Scout Attack:Kiss and Make Up! Kissling, at minimum, blows a kiss at his target, but may also kiss them directly. If the kiss is blown, the magic takes the shape of a pair of pink lips that float toward the target until they make contact with skin. Upon contact (whether a blown or direct kiss), pink sparkles appear. The sparkles soon fade, but then the target is distinguished by a kiss mark where they were kissed until the magic fades.
This magic causes the target to feel deterred from being physically violent toward Kissling. At minimum, the attack is a blown kiss, but the closer to a person the kiss is given and longer the contact with skin or more intense the kiss, the more potent the magic and the less the target feels like being physically violent.

Eternal Sailor Avior
A loud hiss escaped his lips as Avior was suddenly stuck with atleast a dozen small shards of crystal from his hip to his shoulder on his left side as he turned to try to protect the two men behind him. It hurt, gods did it hurt! But they were atleast slightly protected from the queen's rampage, and for that, he smiled weakly. It stunned him for a moment, sure, but soon enough, he was standing up straight again, ready to defend against the queen should they need it. But the two basic senshi weren't' going to listen to him. No tthis time.
Despite his warnings, Crocus and Kiuchi both darted away, hearing that call to fight much louder than his own pleads and fears... And he could not blame them. Just as he was, they were warriors before anything else at this very moment, so he nodded at Kiuchi, heading towards Taran and giving Crocus a nod of his own and that gentle squeeze. He was strong, they all were, and they could get through this. And yet his heart still ached.
"We have each other, and we have the rest of our team... We'll be fien! Do what you must, Crocus, Kiuchi! I am here!" Before the next series of shards came up, or whatever attack would arise from it, He punched the ground after checking that no one was in the line of raising of his attack, taking only half step infront of Kiuchi before letting his walls rise.
"Build That Wall!" In an instant, the wall raised between them and the other senshi, hopefully with enough room that they could come behind it if need be. Taran was behind him in this case as well, shielded by the wall... But this was a *queen*. One with powers and chaos that nearly made him wretch. Who knew how easily she could crush his shield.
"I'm here if you need me!" He called out to the others, anyone who would listen if they needed his protection. For he was a shield more than anything else. His walls and hard skin made sure of that.
The Space Cauldron
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Build that City! The wall from his first attack has increased in size to 15 feet wide that lasts for 20 seconds. It forms up thicker as well, and those who are 2nd level or lower cannot break through it. Sailor Logos
She had expected a counterattack. It was only logical. What Logos didn't anticipate were projectiles - crystalline little shard flaring out from Altea's hands in a sweeping motion, spraying out wildly. Logos knew she would get hit, she had to. She was within melee range.
The shards pierced her upper arms not covered by her uniform and grazed her chest and part of her face. It was unlikely to bother her at all if they scarred - Logos was mauled by a dog as a child. Her body bore the scars of it. The bleeding would cease and her body would heal. But for now, Logos had to put some distance between herself and the problem - Altea.
Diving for cover, Logos made her way near Leto. Keeping low to the ground, Logos tried to make herself a smaller target. She could treat her wounds later - they needed to escape.
Suddenly everything broke down and mayhem ensued. Ptolemy was reluctant to take sides, but it seemed to be getting more and more out of hand. Queen Altea seemed to overreact and had begun to act like a tantrum-throwing child. What appeared to be the ultimate confirmation of Taran's words was the shockwave that revealed Altea's energy signature as pure chaos. Did that mean she was with the Negaverse or perhaps being controlled by them...?
One person continued to defend her tooth and nail, however, even against her own court. The Senshi of Change did his best to make his way to her. He understood where she was coming from in how Altea had been treated, but now that she seemed to be a very real threat, he didn't want the pig-tailed senshi to suffer defending someone who might have been contriving to make her a slave.
Should he use his magic? From what he could see of hers, it appeared to be pretty peaceful and she wasn't aiming it at him. If he tried to use his own magic on it, it might have become more dangerous to either her or those she was using it to attack and that was the last thing he wanted. Best to refrain for now with how unpredictable his sphere made things. Her attack was probably for the better, anyway, if it wasn't harmful to anyone.
"Hey," the older teen called, holding up his palms up defensively as he slowly made his way over to her. "Sweetheart, I know everyone needs to calm down some, but that includes you. You're going to get hurt," he warned, his voice as gentle as he could make it and thick with concern.

The attacks were relentless, but despite the wave of power radiating from Altea, she recoiled with each attack used against her. By the time Kissling had reached her, she had already suffered from the bites of Hydrus’ leviathan, from Asmodeus' flames, illness from Kiuchi’s magic, and confusion from Crocus’ and Lovejoy’s magic.
She barely registered Kissling standing before her, or Kibirev’s words. Her eyes lingered on the Senshi who attacked her own for a moment, but even as Altea watched the group, her stability seemed to be fading.
What consciousness she wielded fell, fast, and Sinope’s magic did little to give her any mental reassurance.
Altea reached her hands up to her face; she shrieked and stumbled backwards; crystal shards clattered to the floor and echoed.
She stomped her foot once more, tearing away all the magic that seemed to have whittled away at her. Avior’s walls crumbled, Asmodeus’ fire died away, and what remained of Leto’s camouflage all disappeared.
When the wind stilled, Altea’s condition was obvious.
She showed no visible injuries—no cuts, no blood, and yet her chest was heaving and she looked disheveled. She clutched at her chest and panted, slowly backing up towards the door. “I didn’t work so hard just so a bunch of fledgelings could get in my way,” she hissed.
“You’ll regret this. I could have made you great. Instead, you would attack me—try to destroy me? You’d join him? You are all fools.”
Her voice was strange and hollow; it echoed like metal on metal. She seemed almost feral.
She was afraid.
She was in a position where they could destroy her, and she knew it.
Altea took a careful step backwards. “You have sealed your fate. You won’t live long enough to regret your decision.”
With one last screech, she slashed her hand through the air; a gust of wind blew through the group. Tiny little glass shards carried by the wind stung like miniature bullets, slicing into skin and clothes. What didn’t hit the Senshi clattered in the wall behind them.
Altea ran; it took only seconds before she had spun. She clutched her dress and heaved it up as she bolted up the stairs. She was fast and, while the group was delayed with her magic, she managed to escape.
The sound of the door scratching against the ground echoed down to the group. She may not have had a key to lock it, but a thin layer of crystals had already begun to grow over it—as impenetrable as the other crystal doors in the castle. The door seemed stuck in the frame—and the crystals were still growing.
They would not be leaving this room the way they came.
The Dark Mirror Senshi was left alone with Taran who lingered on the floor. He seemed alive and only in slightly worse condition than when they’d found him. In addition to the Senshi who defended him, the crystals that encased him seemed to have protected him from most of her projectiles. He had a few thin traces of blood on his face, but he seemed ultimately unharmed.
Frustrated, he grunted and kicked his free foot against the ground. He swore under his breath, something muffled and unintelligible, and then spoke to the group. “I’m sorry,” he said, but his anger seemed to outweigh his remorse. “But it’s better she show her true colors now while you still have a chance. She’s not going to take long to try and destroy you, though.”
He didn’t seem to think this was a very real effort—and that should have clearly indicated that he suspected this wasn’t going to get any easier before it ended.
He was tired, and it showed. He had worn himself out trying to free himself, but he seemed keenly aware of the fact that, more than that, his time was running out. His eyes, half lidded, weren’t focused on anything in particular.
“I know the layout of this castle,” he said, to none of them in particular. “If I could get out, I could take you where you needed to go. You could ambush her.”
But the crystals hadn’t budged. They had dented or chipped. He wasn’t delusional; he knew what to expect.
“…But if I can’t get out, you’ll still have to do something. You can’t let her continue. Please.”
He drew in a breath. “She isn’t going to be back. Stay here, and catch your breath. I’ll tell you everything I can, but you have to promise me that when the time comes, you will stop her. She will not stop until she is destroyed. Promise me that you will do all you can, and I will give you every bit of information, every resource I have, to help you.”
Crocus stood his ground with Kiuchi beside him watching attack after attack get thrown at the Queen. When the wall sprung up in front of him, he glanced up at Avior, glad to see him by their side. He was quite thankful for the shield, at least he was for the brief moment that it lasted. It had looked like they were finally making some progress, but the sound of the Queen's screams and a few stomps of her feet and all of the magic disappeared around them, including Avior's wall that was protecting them.
As distraught as she looked and maybe a little out of breathe, she didn't appear to actually be injured. They were getting somewhere though, given enough time they could probably win this! At least he thought that, for a brief moment, before she flung out her arm again. The wind was fierce and brought with it even more of glass cut into him, there wasn't any way to avoid her attack. He had enough sense to close his eyes at least, but when he opened them again she was gone.
He bolted for the stairs, but by the time he got there and looked up, he could tell it was too late. Crystals were already forming over their only escape. "Well, we're not getting out that way." He could hear Taran speaking in the back, telling them to catch their breathe. That was a good enough idea, but with the adrenaline out of his system now he was more aware of the various cuts all across his body. Ow, thanks Queenie. At least his boots held up well, he couldn't say the same for the transparent fabric around his shoulders or the crown of flowers on his head.
He took out some of his frustration back kicking the bottom stair, not hard, but he just felt like he needed to let loose a little bit. He made his way back toward the group then, they needed to find some other way out of here and get some answers from Taran. He doubted the Queen would come back down here, she probably hoped they would all just rot away in this dungeon.
He made his way over to Avior and Kiuchi first and inspected them both. "You're not hurt are you....and by that I mean you're not seriously hurt..." It was a silly question, no one would escape some damages from that last attack. His own face was cut up in various place, with one long scratch along his right cheek from her first attack. A few cuts along his arms as well, but his uniform had taken the brunt of the attack for him, he was thankful that wind had only carried small shards and not the daggers she had thrown at them preciously.

Eternal Sailor Avior
Just as he had expected, Altea didn't need much strength to make his walls shatter. But if anything, he hoped that it was enough to slow her down, to keep her away from Taran and the other senshi that had somehow ended up around him. The final blast of Altea's shards hit him hard, piercing and lodging themselves into Avior's chest, and he gasped in pain, feeling blood starting to well up and stain his uniform. They were in there deep, and it HURT like hell, but he wouldn't think about it. Not right now.
Just as quickly as the fighting started, it ended, and he was left confused and slightly dazed.... It made sense, though, that the queen would flee. Given how relentless everyone came at her. His team's magic was surprisingly vicious, and he found a small bit of entertainment at the idea. Even if there was infighting at times, when the time for blood to be spilt upon them, there was little hesitation, even if half of it was fear and instinct alone.
Altea seemed so afraid, like a cornered animal, and for the briefest of moment, he sympathized with her. She must have felt so alone in that instant, and he was no stranger to loneliness in the least. But even in his darkest and most painful moments he did not have the strength to turn to cruelty and to force anyone to do anything. Maybe that's the point where Altea lost her humanity and became this.... This thing.
Only a moment was taken to breathe, a heavy sigh taken as he surveyed his court. Maybe a little battered, but none worse for the wear. That one poor senshi seemed to have lost an entire pigtail (Kibirev), and he felt bad for her, but it was far better than losing her life. And... Wasn't she the same one screaming her hatred for everyone after they had attacked the queen...? She seemed a little volatile at the moment, so once she calmed down through the comfort of her own close ones, he'd talk to her, maybe try to explain why they needed to do what they did.
He was incredibly grateful for when Crocus returned to his side after chasing down the queen, and the other Senshi's hand, raising it up to inspect the cuts in his arms... Nothing bad... He looked a little scratched, but nothing worse for wear, and he let out a sigh and a smile.
"I'm fine... I can still walk, I can still fight. Some pieces are stuck but... Once she's gone, I'm sure they will be easy to taken out, either by them just melting away or going to the hospital for extraction... Ahaha...." His smile was forced, but he refused to show just how worried he had been. To succumb to his worries right now would be his end. Instead he turned to Kiuchi, letting Crocus' hand go after a slight squeeze, and gently guiding the other towards Kiuchi. "I truly am glad you two are alright... And you fought bravely, It was a great job. We'll get her yet, I'm sure. Home is in site... But rest now... There's more fighting to come, I know it."
Kneeling down before Taran, Avior reached out helping the man to sit up in a more proper position rather laying on the ground, his hands looking at the crystals with sympathy.
"Do you think there is any way to free you from your bonds...? Do the crystals have any sort of weakness to them, heat, cold, anything? Hells, if need be, we'll carry you out of here to witness what happens next. We have more than a few here who's strength should help you in a way. I know if my beloved had gone in such a way, I'd want to see this to the end. It's the very least you deserve, I think.."

Eternal Sailor Acubens
They were winning
Against all odds and logic, her court was winning. When all hope seemed lost, when Altea proved herself to be a creature of complete ruin, when the chips were down, and when they needed to most, The Dark Mirror Court came together to create a force of <******** nature and they were winning. People that she hadn't even expected to fight were grappling tooth and nail with this crystal b***h. Acubens swelled with fierce pride in the court as a whole, and nearly exploded with it when she saw senshi like Kiuchi stepping up and doing what they had to. It was enough to almost cause her to call her magic to her tongue, sweet like honey, and join the fray. It was only Chione by her side that caused her to pause. Like an anchor in reality, keeping the battle-fueled mania from Acubens' mind, Chione stood, keeping Acubens' head clear with the simple blessing of her existence. And while Acubens didn't dismiss her magic, she calmed it, leaving a trail of sweetness over her nerves.
And then the tantrum. Dear god was that what she looked like when that happened? It was, in a word, humiliating. Fremdschämen was the word for it, Acubens thought. Suffering second handedly from the embarrassment of another... maybe? Altea stomped and wailed and gasped and Acubens smiled wickedly.
Until she left.
And the crystals began to creep over the door.
Her face rapidly fell into a deep, dark scowl at yet another cage that she had become trapped in. Fabulous. They should have gotten out when they had the chance... did they ever have a chance? Acubens drew closer to Elsa and Chione, finally yanking the crystal from her shoulder and letting it clatter to the floor with a look of disgust. Stiches. She was going to need stitches. Again. And she just paid off her last medical bill. Acubens cussed out loud, wiping the blood on the gauze layer of her fuku. Thank god for magical cleaning, right?
At Avior's suggestion of heat or cold, Acubens perked up. It sparked a memory of her father putting a dish from the oven into a sink of cold water one day to teach her and her brother about thermodynamics. It had exploded. She piped up.
"Acutally, that's a really good idea. Assuming the crystals react to thermodynamics here the way same they do on earth, if we heat them and then cool them off in rapid succession, they might become brittle. The trick would be, of course, doing so without hurting Taran. Any more than he is hurt, anyway." She thought for a moment and continued. "Perhaps short bursts of fire and cold to weaken the base crystals?" If all else failed, she was wearing literal ice picks of her feet so... they had that.
Sadalsuud hadn't thought anything of giving the clover formed by her magic toSinope, because the taller senshi was her friend - at least on her part she considered him a friend.
But it was hard to tell if her magic had done anything to help as the glowing clover in his hand disappeared as he used his own magic, because it didn't look like it was acting any differently–
Although granted, it wasn't as she had the luxury of focusing on it - not with magic attacks and crystal shards from the Queen flying all around as they were.
But Sadalsuud hoped , she hoped so very much - because what good was having magic, even pretty magic, if she couldn't help her friends with it?
At Sinope's chuckle she managed a small, if shaky smile as she started to nod in agreement at his words, because Sadalsuud knew that she wasn't a fighter - knew that she would only get in the way "Okay..."
The rest of the sentence trailed off unsaid at another shriek from Queen Altea's direction, crystal shards clattering and echoing almost in counterpoint as they fell to the ground.
Sadalsuud's green eyes shifted towards her, was in time to catch the magic die as Altea once again stamped her foot, before widening slightly at lack of injury - at least visibly.
But the Queen was clutching at her chest as she backed up towards the door and her voice when she spoke was strange and hollow.
And then with a final screech and slash of her hand she was sending yet more crystal shards at them.
Some of them struck at the arms that Sadalsuud brought up in an almost instinctive attempt to try and protect her face as they shredded through cloth and sliced across skin in shallow but painful cuts–
And maybe someone braver, someone stronger would have borne it in silence but Sadalsuud was neither, a pained cry escaping her lips as tears pooled in her eyes and when it finally stopped Queen Altea was gone.
It hadn't quite sunk in that the Queen had left them locked in with Taran.
