Viveka, though he enjoyed the chocolate eclair that he'd shared with Valerian, felt very much the same about the selection of snacks. He wasn't in the mood for something super sweet really, he actually wanted something with fish, like a fried fish sandwich. But, he didn't want to say that to Valerian, just in case he wasn't as fond of fish as he was. Not many children liked fishy foods as much as he did, so it was probably best that he didn't talk about it. Instead, he opted to grin as he was handed another plushie.
"You're right, thank you!" He chimed, before looking to the table and grabbing a plushie for Valerian in return. "I think your plushie needs a buddy, too, and this one has the same color that they do! They match!" (136 words)
After finding themselves each a new Nezubat pet to bring home, Siobhan and Tyrian decided to wander around the festival a bit more. There was a lot that they hadn't seen yet, of course, and they wouldn't see anything by just standing around. Siobhan was espescially anxious to find something else pretty to wear after seeing a few freshlings with heart shaped bracelets pass them by. If only this festival had signs to show where all the good booths were! It was so easy to get turned around in this place, augh!
"I'm starting to think that we're lost, Tyrian." She whimpered, looking to him rather pathetically. "Do you see the entrance from here?" (114 words)
PRIZES
(I'm pretending that Tyrian gives it to her, though)
Lost? Tyrian couldn't stop himself from scoffing. They couldn't get lost inside of the academy when there were so many people to ask for directions, that was incredibly silly. Sure, there weren't any signs and a lot of the booths looked similar, but there were differences if you looked close enough. He shook his head and took Siobhan's hand.
"No, I don't, but there's nothing to worry about." He said, sighing and tugging her toward a stand. "I think I see some of those bracelets you like over here! Why don't you get one and we can think about getting a snack? I'm kind of hungry." (106 words)
At long last, just when she thought she would have to turn around and go home in shame, Kiriko found a stand with bags of candy that had yet to be swiped! Hallelujah, she was saved! Or, really, she just got more candy to add to her stash. Whichever it was, at least the adults hadn't completely abandoned the sweet teeth of their academy students! All faith in adult kind worldwide had been swiftly restored, it was a Hunter's Jubilee miracle!
"Two down, I don't know how many left to go!" She cheered, giving her plushie a snuggle. "Onward, Mr. Blue, onward!" (102 words)
Allumin wandered down one of the crowded ways between booths. Sniffing the air, he let his nose lead him to a food vendor. "You hungry?" He asked the purple jackalope at his heels. His answer came in the form of a hop and scrabble, as Baron leapt up onto his new backpack, his back paws kicking at the side until he managed to achieve laying across the top of the backpack. Baron laid his head and front paws on Allumin's shoulder, and the nixie gave a small laugh. "Oh I can already tell your going to be a lazy little thing." He lightly joked.

Liatris was more excited now, when he noticed a guessing game with hearts floating in water. Those kinds of games were always pretty easy, and almost all of the hearts would give some sort of a prize.
Maybe he could win another plushie, or even a familiar. He had noticed a few of the booths giving them out.
He picked up a heart, and matched the number with the prizes. Just a bracelet, but Liatris picked one out in his favorite color and slipped it onto his wrist.
Plenty prepared, and ready to stare the woman down with the eerie and unnerving flatness his face had taken on, the fey only budged when Sae urged him, and took his hand. Suddenly, he was perked back up, antenna bouncing lightly as he trotted alongside her blissfully. The woman being left in their wake shivered lightly with discomfort from how piercing the little winged freshlings staredown had been.
Blinking at the indicated activity, his wings twitched along with his coiled antenna, "Oh! Yes, let us play it!" he chimed in agreement, prancing a little faster to see it in action. Someone was already spinning it, a few crowded around to see what would come of the spin.... But Husk had different plans. Watching it for a few seconds, as it began to slow down, he reached out, and placed his hand on it to stop it short without warning. There were gasps of surprise, and arched brows as the taller Nightmares and Daydreams stared at him in disbelief, but the fey didn't even show any sign of noticing.
Turning to beam at Sae, he sweetly held his hand up to gesture to the wheel, "Go ahead and try first~!"
nepsah
Lip wibbling lightly with all the confusion being tossed around, he went back to hiding his face behind the skinny body of the coatl he'd obtained. So many difficult questions being asked, and he was getting so overwhelmed! And by the looks of it, only making the other freshling angry!
With the retort on the protruding bumps atop Eli's head, Farid flinched and recoiled his hand when he was scolded, ears drooping on either side of his head. They... weren't bumps..? horns? what... would he have horns for...? nothing made sense... and everything just managed to further enrage the demon, causing the serpant tail to coil tightly around Farid's shrinking form. "b-b-b-u-but... o-.....oh..." his voice blubbered and trailed off. He wanted to go home now...
Prepared for another onslaught of tears to hurry down his rosied cheeks, the little foreign hybrid blinked curiously at the vespercat that appeared. Suddenly, his eyes began to SPARKLE, adoration etched all over his face. A vespercat! Having a strong love for the creatures held so dearly to his people, he was shocked by the reaction it earned from Eli. Oh dear! Moving hurriedly, he opened his arms to accept the vespercat, hugging it to him, and purring faintly to it as he nuzzled against it. "So... soft...~<3" he chimed, as the vespercat purred back to him. A giggle bubbled up from him, and he peeked back at the irritated demon, managing a smile, "Thank you, that's so kind of you to let me have it." the sparkle returned to his eyes, gazing at Eli, "I-I'm Farid, by the way. What's your name?" maybe with this gift that meant... they were going to be friends now?
As Larimar was still playing the game on his own, Phyre came back over to Candy just as someone started to hand out rings to everyone. Candy received a yellow ring, it reminding her of Phyre.
Phyre ( 18 )
As soon as she came over from the game, Phyre was handed a ring that reminded her of Larimar. Surely her little brother would of liked to have a ring as well, but he was too much with his game at the moment. Oh well.
Crystallize ( 12 )
Free rings? Crystallize was in! His looked like it matched him perfectly, which he was fine with. It was light blue which was his favorite color.
Larimar ( 5 )
After finishing his round on the game, Larimar was stopped by a nezubat that was flying right in front of his face, finding it quickly landing on his shoulder and refusing to leave. Seemed like it wanted to be his friend. Surely mommy would be okay with another one right?

Kyleigh hummed to herself as she walked around the festival. There was so much going on, and she wasn't sure what she wanted to do next. Did she want some kind of sweet treat? The chocolate looked delicious, and she had always been fond of those sweethearts with the sayings on them. Or did she want to peruse more jewelry? It all looked beautiful, though she wasn't sure she would wear any of it on a daily basis. Or did she want to play more games? She supposed she could do all three before she left for the night. But what next?
Taegan stopped by a table selling bags of candies. They took a peek at the jawkbreakers, but were not fond of such hard treats. They much preferred the kind that would melt on their tongue, that could be savored while they worked on homework or whatever project had their focus. So that left the milk chocolates, and the raspberry flavored chocolates. They stared at the two for a very long time before finally choosing the raspberry flavored ones. They liked the color of the bow that tied it closed, and thought the fruit flavor would make a nice contrast to the chocolate.

Lestari was rattling her new bracelet around her wrist and fiddling with the bow in her hair. And then she grumped at herself for undoing it accidentally. With a sigh, she tied the ribbon loosely around her neck before pulling her hair over one shoulder to braid it. She probably should have done this before she came, but well. She liked wearing it loose. She paused at a table with several different stones on it. There was one that had two colors on it and they actually kind of worked together. She picked it up and bought it, wondering if she could base an outfit off of it.
Drayden had just finished feeding his new Coatl friend a sweetheart when a second wound around his free arm. He jumped a bit at that and laughed softly. "Well, hello. Looks like I have two new friends," he murmured softly as he fed sweethearts to the second Coatl as well. They made quite a pair, one blue and the other purple. He stood carefully and uncoiled the blue one from his leg, enticing it up to his shoulder instead. The blue snake coiled around his neck loosely and seem quite content to stay there. Meanwhile the purple Coatl coiled around his upper arm.
Raleka spotted a crudely drawn map of the festivities on the edge of the table as she stood up, and walked over to investigate. It was weighed down by several of those free stones she had seen earlier, and it had somewhat scribbly labels involving various activities. She slipped another stone into her pocket before studying the map. "I wouldn't mind going to play some games," she offered with a smile.
Maybe she'd win her luck at more plushies, or perhaps at a familiar! She'd never had a pet, but it would be nice to have an animal friend around to assist with her plants. "I'd be okay with one of those toss-the-ring-games, or something." The hybird had almost never felt this excited about hanging out with a pair of people at a party.

tbh I'm just trying to collect as many trinkets as possible, no pressure at all!
Niamh sighed, happily. There were so many people, it was just exciting to be here! And she'd made friends with her first familiar! Even if nothing else happened, this was the BEST DAY EVER.
