Tyrian paused and stared, dumbfounded, at Siobhan as she hugged him. Okay, now he was convinced that she was a bit on the loony side! Her emotions were just so hard for him to track! ... But her hug did feel nice, even if her explanation didn't make much sense. Was her pack based on dominance? That sounded like a pretty weird place to live. He puckered his lips.
"It's okay Sio, really. I don't mind." He replied, looking away. "I just wanted to make sure that I didn't offend you or something. It is my first day here and my first festival... I wanted to make a friend, not an enemy."
He turned his attention from the ground to her again, before looking off to a stand.
"Hey, I think that stand has Nezubats for adoption!" He cheered, waving to the stand. "Let's uh... Pick a pair and they can be... Friends!" (153 words)
Okay, maybe the adults had run out of candy in the back where they usually kept stuff, because there still wasn't candy after five minutes of waiting about. She tried her best to look hopeless, maybe even a little helpless, as people passed her by. Maybe someone with a kind heart would spare her some candy if she batted her eyes enough? Held out her hands? Whined? There had to be someone who would cave and help her win the battle against her big brother!
... Wait, why did she want to battle against her brother anyway? He wasn't even here! The battle wasn't fair! She pursed her lips and slumped against a booth. She'd gotten carried away again! Why did she always do that? (125 words)
The four of them were sitting and eating some dinner, Candy noticing that Phyre and Larimar were looking at a booth game that they both seemed interested in ", You two are allowed to head over there. I'll keep an eye on you both so you can go over and play."
Phyre ( 13 )
Phyre turned and smiled gleefully, thanking Candy before taking a hold of Larimar's hand and taking him over to the booth. After a short wait in line, it was her turn to try at the game, winning yet another plushie.
Crystallize ( 17 )
"Looks like they are having fun," Crystallize told Candy, cuddling up to his mother. Sure he could head over and play with his siblings, but he just wanted to be with mommy at the moment.
Larimar ( 2 )
Larimar managed to get a prize as well, picking out a rose and smelling it some. It was a nice rose, and he enjoyed just looking at it to be honest.
Flowers were a nice gift right? So why were they being given out as prizes. Runai didn't know why, but at least they thought the rose was a really pretty one. When they got back it would go right by their bed on their nightstand!
Somansh ( 20 )
Finally! She had won herself another stone to add to her collection, a sugilite. Now she only had maybe two or three more to complete her collection? However, she was beginning to doubt she would manage to get all those stones she desired. Oh well, better to be happy with what you have.
Jacintha ( 15 )
The little imp was expecting to win some candy when she came to the little game booth that had caught her eye for having so much candy, finding herself instead being offered a familiar for doing so good at the game. A familiar? SO COOL! With familiar in pursuit, Jacintha started rushing to yet another stand to see what she could get.
Vivek ( 20 )
Well this was a bit weird of a prize. Vivek didn't expect so many flowers to be what he would win for this game. Even though they were all pretty and so many of them, none compared to that one single rose he had managed to get earlier from that stranger. He had to find that freshling someday. He just had to!
Raleka's reaction to Morginn's receipt of the plush could be described at no less than elation, regardless of if it showed on her face. She blushed like a tomato as the high-pitched squeal came out of him, and she bashfully accepted the side-hug. She was used to the solemn smile, or face lit up in anticipation, when she handed over a well-arranged funerary or romantic bouquet, but nothing to this caliber! The student began sewing together the pieces of Renge's plush, watching the skilled Fey's work out of the corner of her eye.
And when Morginn proudly placed her own plush in front of her, Raleka's eyes widened. It certainly wasn't what she had expected. And yet, there was something about it that was charmingly... her! The hybrid couldn't retain a toothy grin as she mimicked Morginn, hugging the plush to her chest. "This is so lovely!" she said, breathlessly. "Thank you so much!" She held it about a foot away from her face and admired all the thought that must have gone into matching up all these fabrics and making them look cohesive.
The plush was precariously placed on top of Raleka's expanding pile of plush. She said, "Give me another minute," before hunkering down to finish Renge's stuffed jackalope. She had chosen more muted colors for this piece, something she felt would match the other Fey's aesthetic. The hybrid hoped that Renge wasn't bored watching them sit here and make crafts, but she would certainly be getting gifts out of the deal, so maybe it wasn't so bad.
Stitch after precarious stitch was put into the plush, and even though Raleka was sure it would tear out here and there if it was well-loved, it was at least functional appearance-wise. A few stripes and a heart here with insta-dry fabric paint, and... voila! "This is for you, Renge," Raleka said sheepishly, handing it to the flirtatious Fey. She was rather proud that she had come out here tonight to sit on the sidelines, but she had ended up learning a new craft, and maybe even making a few friends.
"What are you up for next?" she asked Morginn, albeit a bit quietly. What if the Fey had decided he was ready to move on to a new group of people?

Allumin slid the gemstone into his pocket, then tucked the rose he was carrying into a belt loop. With baron now deciding to walk at his heels, Allumin gave a sigh and pointed to a tent set up at a junction in the fair. "Baron look. I think I see some nice backpacks in there." The jackalope's beady eyes fixed on the tent. Of course Allumin received no answer, but when he started towards the tent, Baron kept close to his heel. Allumin was still trying to puzzle out where the jackalope had come from while he browsed the vendors goods. He found a nice leather backpack with some toolwork that sort of looked like a snowflake. He found that to be as close to a sign of 'buy me' as he was ever going to find. Taking the backpack to the vendor, Allumin winced at the price of the bag, but was mildly pleased when he found out it came with a free plushie. it looked like a fox of some sort. He knew what familiar this was, but for the life of him he couldn't recall it right that moment. With a smile Allumin tucked his other three plushies into the bag, slung it over his shoulder, and sighed with relief. "Now that my hands are free maybe I can use them for something else. Like eating something!"
Kyleigh was feeling much, much better now that she had managed to make up for losing her very first game. She cuddled her purple jackalope against her chest and thought about giving another game a try. This one was a guessing game, plastic hearts set in a large bowl of water. Each heart had a prize written on the underside. She leaned over the bowl, looking for a moment before hovering her hand over the hearts much as she had done with her stone. When she felt the moment was right, she plucked a heart from the water, pleased to see that she had won another plushie.

Once again, Taegan leaned against the wall to watch nightmares and daydreams as they walked by. They were beginning to make the litch feel lonely, and their heart began to ache for the woman they cared for. They sighed softly and walked around a little more, wondering when they would be able to see Vera again. They tried to get their mind off of her, since thinking about her was only sending them into a lonely spiral of missing her. They took a peek at some of the tables selling jewelry and other trinkets. Maybe they would be able to find something to eat soon.
When she finished her chocolate, Lestari sighed and leaned back against the wall. She didn't really want to keep the whole box, but the ribbon was cute. She found a trash can and threw away the box, but the ribbon she kept and tied around her hair, pulling it off her neck a little bit. From there, she found the jewelry tables. She saw the little rings with the cut out hearts, but she didn't really want to buy one of those for herself. With another sigh, she looked over the bracelets instead and bought a purple one to go with her hair.

As the lunar fey watched others play games, he let his hand dangle, the bag of sweethearts tapping against his leg. He didn't think anything of this until he felt something begin to coil around his leg loosely. He froze, wings stilling against his shoulder blades as he looked down to see what in the names of the gods was encircling his leg. It was blue, he found, and a triangular shaped head was nosing at the bag of sweets. Drayden relaxed when he realized it was a Coatl and chuckled, carefully kneeling on his other knee, before offering a sweetheart to the Coatl.
After tucking her book into her bag, Delilah noticed some jawbreakers. Her eyes lit up, and she snagged a bag of those, for LATER. She loved having a nice hard candy to suck on while she was doing homework, or sitting somewhere sketching for a few hours.
"Let's sit down and have some, yeah?" Niamh said to the Fluffbug, finding a small bench to sit at. She opened the brownies and pulled one out to share with her little companion, as she watched everyone.

Oz's brows furrowed when Howard went silent. What was going on? Was his boyfriend broken? He pursed his lips and blew into the shell of the chimera's scaly ear, chuckling when Howard looked up from the first thing that had startled him to scowl at the second.
"There's my grump," he teased. "You know you don't have to pretend you like it here. We can leave whenever you want."
It was too much to handle for a moment, the vespercat circling his ankles, his stupid, adorable Oz blowing into his ear, and this whole party... thing... Howard very nearly snapped. He concentrated on the baphomet's smile, his little harmless blunted teeth, and slowly he smiled too.
"No, it's fine. And I'm not pretending I like it here anyway," he corrected. He was perfectly capable of remaining in a place he didn't enjoy without complaining incessantly about it. "It would help if that wasn't so insistent, however." He gestured at the animal at his feet.
Well, figuring that he had restrained himself from eating all the chocolates from before, Laurel allowed himself to finish off the entire bag of brownies. He felt a little selfish, but ultimately lonesome, because he had no one to share them with. The pink Demon pouted and sighed. He wished Emma wasn't sick with a cold, otherwise he'd be having a blast running around with them right now! It just wasn't fair!
"Oh, wait! I know!" He exclaimed, rushing toward a booth close by. "If they can't be here and eat chocolates with me, I'll bring them back a mountain of plushies! That'll make them feel better! Plushies make everything better!" (111 words)
Well, after picking a pair of plushies for themselves from one stand, Valerian and Viveka took their time getting to the next plushie booth. They'd stopped for a hot drink and a snack on the way over, each sharing half of what they'd bought, and continued to hold hands after they were done. However, Valerian wished there had been something more than just sweets at the festival. He kind of wanted a sandwich, like the ones his daddy made on weekends at home. Grilled cheese and ham sounded so good right about now...
"Yay, they have a purple one!" He exclaimed, plucking the plush off of the table and handing it to Viveka. "I think your blue one needs a buddy, don't they? They look really cute together!" (129 words)
