While she waited for Chessy to reply, Delilah noticed some books on the table, with a sign that said 'Free', so she picked up a copy of one that was dark blue, like her, that said 'The Long Winter' on it.
"OH LOOK!" She pointed at a table with lots of snacks on it. She carried her new Fluffbug friend over to the table, and looked at them, before picking up a bag of brownies. "These look REALLY yummy! Let's have these!" She said to it, happily.

Feeling a little better with her stone in hand, fingers smoothing over and over the surface, Kyleigh decided to try her hand at another game. This game seemed a little easier than the first one she tried, and the point was to toss ping pong balls into glasses of water. Get two out of three in the same color glass and win a prize! The purple fallen gathered the ping pong balls in one hand and gave them a toss into the small field of glasses. She managed to get two out of three and picked out a lovely purple jackalope for her collection.
Taegan smiled a bit as they found a game to play. It seemed pretty simple; get a paper airplane into the target area which was a sticky heart shape. It was cute, they thought, and they grabbed a set of planes and managed to win a plushie. They picked up one of those new plushie types, the kind that looked like those new familiars. The bug looking ones. They were cute. They picked up one in red, white, and blue. They thought Vera might like it. Tucking it under their arm, Taegan walked around a little more. They didn't think they would be here much longer.

While Lestari was almost always worrying about gaining weight, she just couldn't resist the heart shaped boxes of chocolate. She bought one for herself and took up a chair by the wall. One leg crossed over the other, her foot bounced as she nibbled her way through every chocolate in the box. She made a face at the ones she didn't like and put them back, but when she found one she liked, she popped the whole thing in her mouth. She sat there and savored a caramel filled chocolate, sighing happily as the treat melted on her tongue practically on contact.
Drayden tried his hand at a game, but unfortunately he was not lucky enough to win anything this time. He walked around a little more, nibbling on a couple of the sweethearts he'd picked up before. His stomach rumbled a bit and he rubbed at it. Maybe he should try and find some real food soon. If he couldn't find anything here, he would just have to wait until he got home to make something to eat. As he came to a group of games, he stood to one side and watched as other nightmares played, wondering which one he should try next.
Once again the mother watched her little ones play a game to win prizes, seeing that each one was having fun with this one. It sure made her smile when she saw the three of them playing together and enjoying themselves. If only it could always remain that way, then she would be the luckiest mother ever.
Phyre ( 6 )
This game you tried to pop balloons with darts, each one of the children being told to be careful since it was sharp. There was no be no running around with it, and all three obeyed. Phyre new running with sharp objects was bad. Her mommy taught her that!
Popping 3 balloons with the 5 darts she had, Phyre was given a small plushie, it looking exactly like her new familiar!
Crystallize ( 5 )
No running with the darts? Crystallize new that! Both mommy and school had taught him that fact. Not only that, but it would seem that the freshling was a natural at this game, getting 5 balloons with all his darts. He had won a familiar!
Snake-like Familiar in the Spoiler
Larimar ( 16 )
Now it was Larimar's turn to try and pop the balloons. He wasn't sure he would do too well, ending up popping three balloons like his older sister. He too was getting a plushie to call his own!
Coming to a game stand, Runai decided to play the duck pond. Taking the scoop, they went for a red duck and got a winning duck, getting a plush toy. It was a cute one too!
Somansh ( 19 )
Once again, she had won a plushie, causing her to sigh in defeat. Sure she liked it, but she wanted to get a few more stones to add to her collection. Why wasn't she able to get anymore right now? It was truly weird. She had even tried less to win, and she still managed to get a plushie.
Jacintha ( 14 )
Candy! She had finally managed to win more candy! Oh boy was she excited! Almost right way she began to dig into it, eating them and getting on a sugar rush. This would be interesting for those around her.
Vivek ( 2 )
A dart game? Hmm, this could be fun perhaps. It was hard, but he did manage to get two balloons, winning a box to chocolate.
On second thought, the young fey grabbed a second bag of jawbreakers before walking off into the crowd. There was more than enough candy for everyone, even if he took all of the bags of jawbreakers. Not that he was going too or anything. That wouldn't be very nice.

Morginn paused in building piecing together the plushie to accept the adorable little winged jackalope from Raleka. He made a sound that could literally be considered a squee. "It's so cute!" He gave the plushie a good, squeezing hug, then leaned over and gave Raleka a brief one-armed hug. He put the plushie in a place of honor in his little work spot, then continued sewing together Raleka's plushie with renewed enthusiasm.
It didn't take him too long to get all the pieces put together. This was his fourth plushie today, so he had a lot of practice. "Here's yours," he beamed, holding out the multi-fabric plushie and hoping Raleka would like it.

Freddy blushed a bit from the hug, though he still grinned and patted Nef on the back. "Aw, I'm not that great. It's just what friends do, ya know?" It was interesting to learn that Bakenekos could purr. Well it was his first time meeting Bakenekos and he didn't know what he had been expecting, if anything at all, since he hadn't really thought about it. It felt kind of tickle-y when Nef clung to him while purring though.
"We could always give it a shot," he said in reference to the plushie building. "There's adults there who are supposed to be able to help you out. And if we look at it and think it's too hard, maybe we could find something else interesting to do. It's inside, so we could also go up to our dorms to drop off our goodies." Freddy was in the same boat as Nef with available arm space.
Seeing as his booth had stayed pretty much the same as he'd left it three minutes before, Laurel returned to peering around the festival. He'd seen some really good looking brownies before at the chocolate booth and had a little bit of trouble remembering where that booth was, but eventually found it right where he thought it was the fifth time around. Luckily, they hadn't run out of the brownies yet!
"Thank you, they're really good!" He exclaimed, taking a decent nibble out of one of them. "I should have asked them for the recipie! ... But wait, I don't know how to bake."
He paused and pouted, before taking another bite of the brownie. Well, he'd just have to learn! (121 words)
There was still a lot left to see, but Valerian and Viveka were taking their time. Neither of them saw any reason to rush or let anyone rush them, even if they were standing in line for something. They wanted to see what the festival had to offer from top to bottom and side to side. No food uneaten, no plushie unsnuggled, no rock unpocketed. It would all be done in their own time.
"Aw, I think these are the brand new plushies from Above!" Valerian said, picking up a pair of plushies and snuggling them. "... Do you mind blue, Viveka? I don't see any purple ones on this table." (111 words)
Viveka was relieved to find that he could walk at Valerian's pace with ease and didn't need to feel like he had to hurry somewhere. They were happy to take their time and make sure they got to everything within their own terms, something Viveka wasn't used to, but had a great amount of appreciation for. Even holding onto Valerian's hand without being nervous was getting easier as they cruised along quietly, just admiring the scenery and taking in all of the sounds, smells, and people. It was like a breath of fresh air.
"No, I don't mind blue! It's one step above purple." He laughed, taking the blue Fluffbug plushie. "I really like these new plushies, you know. They're just the right size and perfect for snuggling." (128 words)
Okay, now Siobhan was starting to feel bad. She watched the boy from the side as he held the flowers she'd refused and felt her lips twist. He looked so sad! Maybe he was really being earnest and kind and she was the one being mean! She leaned away, took a breath, and wrapped him in a hug.
"I'm sorry, Tyrian. I'm not mad!" She exclaimed, before letting him go. "I'm just used to being the leader of my siblings... Well, at least the leader over my sister, but that's not the point. I'm just not used to being with someone more... Dominate than I am that's not one of my brothers."
She rubbed at her sleeve and looked to the ground. Hopefully he wasn't too upset with her? (130 words)
