Dejanira was running and throwing raspberry jam blasts where she could in order to help others get away from the monsters. She was ready to fight and do what she could to help as many as she could.
Lacille was running and throwing some of her book attacks, she didn't see any results so she supposed these things didn't read books. So she resorted to kicking them instead. She had to do what she could otherwise they were all toast and she had a dream to open her own bookshop. So dying wherever they weren't was just out of the question. This was a sucky situation and really confusing too. She grumbled as she ran from the creatures.
Acteae was up running and fighting, there always seemed to be one fight or another. She wasn't giving up so she kept going unsure if this would end well or if they were all doomed. She grumbled harshly and sent her reap what you sow at the monsters. Her ghost scythe went after their target. She was pleased but she didn't see any go down and she growled again and kept going. "What the hell is with this place??" She complained harshly. She didn't expect an answer and likely would have been annoyed if she got one.
His circumstances could have been better. They also could have been much worse. Lovely, being the pessimistic sort, chose to focus on the fact that his circumstances were less than pleasant, regardless of the direction they could have gone.
He dodged stampeding creatures, ignoring the pain of his wounds and the blood that streaked down his arms as well as he could. He wasn’t the only civilian stuck here; there was one giant brute of a man offering himself as a shield, which Lovely and his keen sense of self-preservation would have been more than willing to take advantage of if a screeching White Moon Senshi hadn’t immediately launched herself in the same direction, placing herself between the large man and the horde of creatures.
Lovely sneered. He thought there was something distantly familiar about the White Moon Senshi in question — not that he’d ever fought her, but… maybe that she’d been around when something significant happened. Something like death. Pink hair and death, to be more precise.
Not that he could do anything about it in his current unpowered state. It took every bit of skill and luck he had to avoid a majority of the creatures. He would have to put it out of his mind, save it for another day — if he even made it out of here alive.
A flash of light nearby alerted him to another familiar presence, this one an ally, though Lovely hated to admit the figure in question could ever elicit any measure of relief from him. He avoided another creature or two as he made his way over, and had just gotten within range when a surge of power split through the air — split through Lovely, almost, though it left no mark.
His head spun. His vision swam. He heaved through the pain, held himself up on his hands and knees while an invisible weight threatened to crush him. He crawled forward until he could push himself onto his feet again, but ended up crashing into the creature attacking Kamacite, which sent both Lovely and the creature to the ground.
Ymir determined that if he simply got out of the way, most of the creatures were too set on their destination to bother much with him. Unfortunately, the number of bodies moving about made it difficult to avoid all contact. He threw more magic at another, only the surge of his unstable magic was so strong, it knocked the creature to the ground and depleted Ymir’s limited resources.
He breathed through the fatigue, blinking the haze out of his vision, but soon realized his unpredictable magic was not entirely to blame. A dizzying surge of energy pulsed through the realm. It was all Ymir could do to keep himself standing.
A much larger tear seemed to be opening. The creatures ran for it, snapping and snarling at one another, or at Ymir, or at any of the others who happened to get in their way. Ymir faced the tear with some apprehension. What would happen if it grew, if this realm they’d all been brought to ripped itself apart?
Was this it? Death at last?
Why did Fate have to bring him all the way here for it?
The past week had been wild, from Destiny seemingly wilting to weird and cold holes popping up everywhere, he had been trying to avoid the whole nonsense. Of course Destiny city wasnt allowing that and so after years of only donning the uniform every so often to visit his wonder, he found he'd powered up more and more frequently. Tonight he barely managed to power up as a fissure popped up beside him and suck him in. He was dropped on his a**, in a cave, with people around and weird flying monster.
"Are you kidding me right now?"
He stood up staff in hand, ready to defend himself while he tried to figure out what was going on.
Rhea was patrolling when one of those weird thing, which she now figured was a portal appears and she found herself drawn into and suddenly standing in a dark glowing cave with monster. One roared and swooped at her and she fell over with a yelp.
"No, no, no, no, no," she shouted scrambling, "always with the monster."
She stood calling out her attack and sending it towards the monster's, "Little Giggles."
She moves her arms in an arc outward from her center and causes a gust a of wind that rushes at the target blowing over them and causes the person to burst to giggles whenever they move for 30 seconds. It can only be used on one person at a time, but can be used 2 times per battle.
*The attack has a four foot radius in front of Rhea and can be easily dodged by simply jumping two feet to either side of her. The closer Rhea is to the target the harder it is to avoid.
Pharos had been sitting on the fence with Willie discussing the issue with their crops when she saw the thing open up beside her. She had seen them before, but not so close and it was pulling her. She looked at Willie with wide eyes and a decision to make before powering up right and front of him and feeling herself go through the cold portal and land in a dark, glow cave. She turned at the sound of a growl and just barely managed thwack the thing with her staff before it almost bit her.
She looked around trying to see if she could spot Willie, hoping he didn't get sucked in as well.
One minute Eliza was sitting beside him on the fence the next she was decked out in pink and green with a staff before she was gone. One of those weird thing appeared and took her away before he could even grab her. He stood there dumbfounded for a minute, his brain going a million miles per hour. the lived together all through college. They graduated, they were neighbors and neither of them ever knew their best friend was running around at night just as they were. He pulled out his henshin pen, not bothering to look around and powered up. It was a benefit to being in a pasture on your own farmland. No one else was likely to be around. He knew another one of those portals would pop up and he was going after his best friend.
It didnt take too long before Neckar found himself sucked into one of the whole and standing in a cave. "Tink," he called out, the nickname he had for Eliza, so as not to call out her real name, seeing others around. "Tink, where are you?"
He was attacked by one weird creatures that seemed to be attacking everyone. He smacked the thing with his arm, getting scratched for his efforts. "What did I just get myself in to?"
Fafnir clutched at his damaged arm, holding it tight to his side in some vain home that would help relieve some of the blinding pain. Any time he moved too suddenly, dodging monsters as they surged past them, or when one of them shouldered him aside, he saw stars flashing in his vision. The struggle to remain conscious was real… and he was pretty sure if he passed out, he was going to die here.
“C’mon…” He gasped out, throwing his chin towards the direction the things, and after a while the other people too, were moving. “I think we need to get moving that way…”
And then to his astonishment, all the creatures dropped to the ground, crawling along it over rocks and breaks. His confusion only lasted a moment before a great surge of electricity arched over them. Fafnir ducked as it tore through what passed for the sky here, feeling it zing through his body. He shuddered as he fought off the blackness at the edges of his vision, struggling to hold it together.
“Need to get… moving.” He finally managed, pushing himself to his feet once the… surge had passed. He knew he was moving on pure willpower, but god damn it, he did not want to die here.
Almost as soon as he'd arrived by Acubens side and she was leaving - and putting him in charge! he wanted to protest, was about to speak, but she was off running towards someone. He knew whoever she was rushing towards was a dark mirror senshi, of that he had no doubt, he knew her and her dedication towards the court. He wasn't surprised, he really couldn't be, but he didn't like being the only other eternal here...it meant he had to take charge. Letting Tegmine pull him into an embrace he nodded his head. "We weren't sure what was going on either, we lost track of time for certain." And had started to worry, a lot, about what was going to become of them. With no mirrors to help them escape they'd been stuck. It hadn't been much better than being trapped in a castle and nearly turned to crystal, that still was a horrfying thing which he didn't want to remember. Looking to his sister, who was being tucked behind another dark mirror, he shifted his gaze than to Morpheus and he nodded his head.
Stepping away from Tegmine he looked over the small group they were. "We heard Acubens...we need to head for the fissures...though I'm not so sure." He whispered looking at the others as more monsters filled the area and people continued to be moved about...some coming and others going and it was a mess. It was a lot to deal with and he could feel a bit pf panic starting up. It was before he could honestly panic, and fall apart, that he pulled a plushie out of pocket space and held onto it tightly, he needed something grounding and he didn't care who saw. "I think...I think we need to follow the monsters - see what they're heading towards. It has to be important." At least he assumed it was.
Looking to Morpheus he tilted his head a bit. "I don't know what your magic does." They might need to know who could do what and make a plan, as they ran, because a plan would be a good thing to have - right? Plans were a good thing. And he did start running with the group, they had to run, because there was nothing else to do and they couldn't just stand here and take whatever was to come. When the monsters dropped to the ground he felt himself jump in surprise, only to cry out loudly in pain as a surge of power seemed to race through him, sending bolts of pain through his body. "s**t!" What the hell was happening? His vision went for a moment, before returning but blurry around the edges, he was shaking and felt weak...like he was swaying perhaps.
"We need to move." He called out, trying to move his head, and instantly regretting the actions, as he sought to find Acubend and whoever she had gone after. They needed to stick together now more tha never! Whatever was uphead was letting out bolts of electricity and the monsters were heading for it. Something big was there, was behind this all. "Is everyone ok?" He called out to the group, taking a moment to seek out Kai in this mess.
Proto managed to dodge yet another one of the weird gargoyles, stiffening when she felt a power signature coming straight to her at a breakneck speed. This momentary pause allowed one of the creatures to give her a pretty good scratch on her upper arm while another swipped at her leg. The poor senshi squeaked in pain, throwing another one of her bubbles at the offending creatures.
Well, that wasnt very nice, and now she was bleeding...
"Ooooooooowwwwww!" She sniffled, and started to limp away from the bubble, almost running into the senshi that was coming right for her. She had to keep moving, but maybe this senshi can help her? "H-hello....! Ummmn....Help?" admittedly the scratches werent so bad, they just hurt like hell.
Sailor Scout: This attack comes in the form of a small bubble that can trap up to two people, causing them to freeze in place, whether they were running or jumping in the air. Her opponents can take damage while in this bubble, but only if the attacker is someone stronger than Protogeneia herself. So a super senshi or captain can damage anyone inside of the bubble and cause it to dissipate the moment contact was made. Her powers cannot tell the difference between friend or foe so either side could manage to accomplish this. Anyone inside of the bubble cannot attack though and won't receive damage if a lower level ally or enemy decides to hit them. This can also work on allies as well. For instance, if an ally was about to come into harm, Protogeneia can throw a bubble at them to stop the harm from coming. If an enemy was trapped inside, then an ally could potentially tackle them out of the bubble so long as there is a second person in there as well. If there was only one person, then the ally would be stuck inside of the bubble until it disappears. This attack can be done twice and only lasts for about 15 seconds.
Once the creature was a bunch of goop, Mu Arae pushed forward, spotting a familiar color of pink and yellow. "Oh no...." She made her way over to her younger cousin, barely managing to avoid her attack. "What the hell?! How?! Geezus woman, I thought you were at home?!" Maybe she should ask if she wants to watch the boys at some point? Just to keep her out of danger?
Another monster tried to come at them again, Mu brought her fist back and slammed it into the creatures face, looking disgusted at the sight of the goo. "Ugggghhhhhhhhhhh!" She looked around and spotted a familiar head of red hair. "Alight Rhea..." She grabbed her hand, quickly leading her in the direction of Shang. "We're going to catch up to my boss, and figure out how to get the hell out of here."
The monsters were appearing more and more frequently as the rifts flashed opened and closed. They rushed at her, forcing her to dodge, and then past her.
Ida darted side to side to keep out of the reach of teeth and claws, but with no end in sight, her mind spun as she tried to figure out what to do. Those monsters were intent on getting somewhere… maybe that’s where they needed to go too? Maybe that was the way out? Standing around here really wasn’t getting her anywhere.
Ida-nee! Ida knew that voice and she spun, looking for the young Senshi girl in the yellow kimono dress. “Tachibana!” She called, waving. A monster snapped at her and the eternal jumped out of the way, dodging another as she did so.
“I don’t know what’s going on!” She yelled over the racket of monsters and people. “I think we need to go that….”
Electricity sizzled and crackled as it surged. All the monsters dropped to the ground, but before Ida fully understood what that meant, she felt the surge hit her, making her gasp and drop to her knees. What the heck was that? She wondered as she panted, searching about for Tachibana again.
"As soon as we can stop moving," Aschera said, and tried not to snap, "I'm taking a closer look at you," because a medical professional she was not, but, also, a safe environment this was not. Should she relocate his shoulder? On second thought, also probably not; ideally they would all get out of here within an hour, and at that point, a hospital would be a better use of his time than back-alley doctoring. Too much risk of getting things wrong in this light. Binding the gashes -- that was manageable and probably a priority, but they still needed to stop moving, first.
The burst of power was - it was dizzying, yes, but it wasn't completely unlike how her power felt when it decided it was going to misfire, so Aschera clenched her teeth and dug her nails into her palms and kept standing. She leaned down and pulled his uninjured arm over her shoulders, trying to take on some of his weight. "Put your weight on me if you must. And don't fall."
Ciel had settled into her sofa for a quiet evening. She had chosen to take the night off from patrols, after all it was festival, she had treated herself to a long soak in the tub and had donned her favorite silk robe and nightie. She had just picked up her book, the latest in a fantasy series she loved, when suddenly she felt the furniture beneath her disappear. She tumbled through the rift in space that had formed beneath her as she landed in a dark area full of other people.
Looking around it was pandemonium there were powered individuals of all persuasions, order, chaos, even some of the Vanguard, and worst of all civilians. Then there was the monsters, strange horrible beasts attacking the group as if they were savagely trying to force their way through the assembled mob for some reason. The young heiress didn't have long to ponder the situation she had found herself in however as one of the fiends came at her.
Claws slashed through her robes just missing her skin, thankfully years of fighting had instilled good fighting instincts into the young woman as she immediately reacted by reaching up to the special necklace she always wore for just such an emergency. She grabbed the white round pendant on a fine silver chain and pulled it off throwing it at the monster's feet. The pendant shatter and immediately ice crept up the monsters body entombing it in a freezing restraint. The ice stopped just bellow the creatures head. It tried to thrash against its cold bondage but the ice held strong.
She was safe from the immediate danger but far from being out of the wood-work there was still many monsters around her and the rest of the group thankfully other powered individuals were engaging the creatures in combat. Then what seemed to be a pulse of electricity went off. It sliced through her body leaving great pain in its wake but did not seem to do any physical harm. She grimace through the pain and tried to reach out to summon her staff. At least as Hyperborea she'd have a fighting chance her but the staff didn't appear. She cursed under her breath, she couldn't access her powers here.
She tried to figure out where to go when she saw in the direction the monsters were trying to get to a huge rift opening. She figured that was probably the best place to go right now if the monsters wanted to get there so badly.
Snowball Pendant
A round, white gemstone that resembles a perfect snowball and glistens in the slightest light. The snowball pendant hangs from a glistening silver chain. You can easily detach it and hurl it at something or someone to encase them in a thick layer of ice for up to three minutes. The ice is chilly to the touch but isn't cold enough to do any damage, and if used on a human or living target will only encase them from the neck down. This can only be used while in civilian form and cannot be used while the wearer is powered up but it can be used against any opponent your civilian is facing. Once the five minutes is up, the ice melts and disappears in a magical breeze, only for the pendant to return to the chain. It is still beautiful, however no longer has any magical properties and will function as a normal crystal pendant if thrown again. It might not have any magic, but it's a nice memento!
Aliez whipped around when he heard Andreiya’s voice. “Andreiy--”
He tried calling back, but one of the strange creatures lunged at him, just as another had lunged for Andreiya.
Thankfully, Andreiya had his blaster, and managed to shoot at one of them. Which meant Aliez could hold out his arm and create a shield over the two of them. With his free arm he tried reaching for Andreiya to keep him close.
Two of the creatures jumped at them from outside the shield.
The third time it was attacked, a pulse of energy shot back at the creature, causing it to yowl and shake its head from being dazed.
“Yes, I am okay I think. Are you okay?” he asked now that he had a chance to breathe and look his friend over.
At least until the shield flickered out and they had to rely on Andreiya’s marksmanship until it recharged.

Kamacite grit his teeth, prepared for another of those creatures to jump at him--
When suddenly a civilian crashed into the creature, whether on purpose or by accident, Kamacite wasn’t sure. It exploded into a disgusting tar, and for a moment Kamacite hesitated because gross.
Not that he wasn’t already covered in goop and whatever else was in that strange void.
He crouched down by the young man with blond hair. It looked like he’d already been injured pretty badly by the creatures.
“This should protect you some,” he said as he shrugged off his robe and put it around the young man’s shoulders. The inside was clean at least. It just meant Kamacite needed to be more careful about not being bitten.
“Can you stand?” he asked, offering his hand to help him up. It was the least he could do.
Reidite made a horrified face when Cymophane attacked the creature and it exploded. A string of Russian cursing was muttered under his breath as he tried to decide what to do about his tar covered uniform, before he figured ignoring it was for the best. He did not want that stuff on his hands.
“Be careful,” he growled, annoyed that there were so many creatures trying to attack, and annoyed more that his ‘weapon’ was useless.
He too caught sight of the bright flash of light, but there were also annoying and potentially very dangerous electrical currents surging through the air. He growled at them, as if that would do anything, even as the energy itself was dizzying.
“Maybe your friend has a better idea,” he grunted. At least they would be in a group, or something. Easier to defend Cymophan-- each other.
It was completely impossible to not notice the disturbance going on. The mix of aura’s was what perked the corrupts interest, but the scene was what pulled him fully in. “What the hell?” He remarked as he watched the proceedings. Creatures he’d never seen before were moving and attacking anyone they came close to. And odd electricity raked around the battlefield, and it was complete chaos.
Both order and chaos fought. He couldn’t say it was side-by-side, but they all had one common foe in this situation. It was odd to see, but Heliodor wasn’t going to ask questions right now.
One of the creatures mad a beeline for him. Apparently he was about to be dragged into the fray. Not going to back down from the fight, the corrupt slid out of the way of the initial attack, stepping in to kick at the monster’s back, sending it stumbling. “So, having fun here in the city?” He remarked. The creature turned, growling. “What, not going to tell me why you’re causing so much trouble?” Another growl and a lunge.
“Guess you guys aren’t much for talking.” Helio dodged again, this time kicking the things side to send it staggering away from him.
Alexander stood still as he could, noticing as some darted behind him, taking the offer of protection. Whatever was going on, he was at least glad he was useful there. Given some of the.... whatever other people were doing, he was starting to feel like body blocking might be about the best he can offer. Someone had brought some sort of super flashlight or something apparently, according to the spots before his eyes now.
Someone was in front of him now, and she was yelling at him even! Did he know her? His eyes narrowed in for a moment but nothing came to his mind, purely blank. He didn't know her.
"I don't know what I'm doing here! Do you?!"
She was at least larger too, and with this weird pack of somethings he couldn't turn down more people. The monsters had mostly kept aside of them, seeing as he was doing his best to keep his pool of people back and away from the path; the creatures seemed to attack people between them and wherever they were going.
The lightning he couldn't do anything about. A loud rumble of pain ran from his mouth as he felt the lightning slice through him, drawing his gaze to the end. There was another tear, and.... something there? Something better than here, surely. Looking back towards the pack, one of the creatures leaped at him; he was in the way now.
Alexander wasn't awakened, and to all the world he was just a mortal here, but six-and-a-half foot of muscle didn't account for nothing. Claws ripped against his shoulder as his arms shoved forward, throwing all his weight behind him to strike the whatever it was in the chest. It did.... Less than he had hoped, but it did at least stop the creature in its tracks, even if it kept trying to come at him! It should've done more, he knew that somehow...
"We need to get to the rift!" He shouted over the clamor, straining to push the creature back. "Beat them to the rift, get out of here!"
