Name: Ashton Jack Carver. Please don't fullname her, it makes you sound like her grandfather, and nobody wants that.
Nickname: Ash. Jack. AJ. "Ashley", "Jackie", or "Jacquelyn", if you think you're funny (he doesn't think it's cute coming from strangers or acquaintances, at least). If not introducing herself as Ashton, tends to introduce himself as Ash when presenting femme and Jack when presenting more masc, but it's really a weird ambiguous line anyway. Has gone by Ash online for ages but occasionally uses Ajax online instead if she thinks she's being funny.
Gender & Pronouns: Bigender & genderfluid; she/her & he/him, will accept they/them but will never use it for herself.

Hobbies:
vulture culture: Ashton has no time for the down and dirty of full taxidermy, but he loves dead things; when he finds them, he'll go through the traditionals to make sure bugs eat all the flesh off the bones. He has skeletons in his closet, very literally; squirrel, bird, lizard - all the little things. Sometimes roadkill, too; raccoons, part of a deer, once. His room is full of little glass cases with skeletons delicately mounted in them.
reading: It's a good way to spend an evening, isn't it? Ashton likes medical texts, historical fiction, anything that gets bloody and descriptive while it does it. She likes it raw and explicitly gory. Anything that's a record of people, metaphorical or not; she likes photo albums, old diaries, war stories. Anything like that is her favorite reading material.
charity work: Ashton likes being praised. Doesn't everyone? Sometimes the easiest way to have people thank you is to do things out of the 'goodness of your heart', so even if there's an ulterior motive (networking, usually) it's a good way to spend an afternoon.
Virtues:
a sympathetic ear: It's easy, to listen to other's problems and offer advice if needed; or at least Ashton finds it that way. He's a shoulder to cry on whenever he's needed, and he always seems to be willing to make time for a friend in need.
pragmatic: Ashton won't curl up her lip in disgust - what needs to be done will be done, even if it's messy, even if she has to slog through the worst. She's willing to do the things others might not volunteer for. Her mind isn't often clouded with flights of fancy; her feet stay on the ground even through the storms.
industrious: There's a lot of things you can say about Ashton, but god willing you can't say he doesn't put in the work. Ash Carver has never met a shortcut (one at the cost of experience, anyway) that she's ever liked, and she's not sure she ever will; cheating has a time and place but if you want to know what you're doing you have to work for it. He's incredibly diligent when it comes to achieving a result -- even if he'd really rather not be doing whatever he's doing, he's still going to put in the work if the end result will be beneficial.
Flaws:
manipulative: It's not that other people don't matter, is the thing, it's just that Ashton ultimately cares more about what you can do for her than she cares about you. He likes to be in control of the situation, even though she doesn't want his control to be known; it might not be particularly scrupulous, but she wants to have control over where things are going. One word at a time, one wink at a time -- she'll get her way.
pragmatic: Ashton will get his hands dirty as much as he needs to. There is nothing he considers unthinkable, nothing that's too far, too disgusting -- he will play underhandedly to get what he wants. Other people might balk -- Ashton never will. What's wrong with being a little immoral if it gets the job done?
tempted: The more someone says no, the more Ashton wants, wants, wants. The more something is forbidden, the more she wants to get at it, wants to know how it ticks; in conversation she'll push the boundaries when you're clearly uncomfortable. Under her skin lies someone who just wants to know - and the more someone wants to prevent that knowledge, the more valuable it is, even if it's something as little as your childhood fears or something like religion. Always in the restricted section -- she was 'precocious', as a child, before she learned to hide the behavior. Now, though, it's just mean, really.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Bloodstone-hazel -- dark green, a ring of red towards the center.
Hair: Pale blonde, somewhat past shoulder-length, straight. Usually unstyled; occasionally thrown back in a casual updo.
Face: Think Stav Strashko. Androgynously narrow, mildly angular, leaning towards feminine.
Skin Tone: Moderately pale, generically white. Got lucky enough to pick up a genetic combination that means she freckles before she burns in the summer.
Body Type: Skinny, verging on underweight; long fingers.
Clothes: Trashy hipster, vaguely grunge, occasionally more goth. Lots of layering, primarily greys/dark blues/dark greens with some accenting of whites and reds. Wears a lot of slouch beanies and almost always has some sort of hat on in the winter, although newsboy caps show up on occasion. If at a loss, assume a flannel overshirt and jeans. Tragically he does not have the shoulders to pull off v-necks and he bemoans this every summer.

With a brush of Aschera's fingers across the opponent, the muscle and fat underneath that body segment begins to spasm abruptly and painfully; this does not prevent use of that body part, but use is fairly painful, and fine dexterity with the affected area is near impossible.
The affected individual will also hallucinate that the body part is mutating and changing, visually.
The effects of this attack last for 30 seconds, and Sailor Aschera can use it twice per battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Contort.
With a brush of Aschera's fingers across the opponent, the muscle and fat in that body segment begins to spasm abruptly and painfully; this induces considerable pain and strain, and effectively makes that segment of the body mostly unusable until the magic has worn off.
The affected individual will also hallucinate that the body part is mutating and changing, visually.
The effects of this attack last for 25 seconds, and Sailor Aschera can use it twice a battle.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Metastasis.
Sailor Aschera calls their attack, and for 45 seconds following this, all enemies within a ten-foot radius (with Aschera as the epicenter) will be overcome with a tactile and visual hallucination that the flesh on their body has begun to grow and mutate out of control, making their body react strangely to commands and inducing extreme pain. This attack lasts for 45 seconds and can be used once per battle, and once the time limit has worn off all hallucinatory effects of the magic will disappear immediately.
As Aschera was awakened at age 24 & outside of the normal Corrupted Senshi age range, as a basic Corrupted Senshi her magic suffers from odd fluctuations -- it often seems physically demanding and hurts Aschera to use, or the hallucinations it causes are bone and blood instead of flesh and muscle, or it's just -- odd.For what might be hours, you listen to the beating of your heart.
A kind of phantasmagoria comes upon you. Your body is a stranger to you.
