He's a bit of a social chameleon, around Starlet he's far more quiet and reserved, he doesn't usually speak unless he really has something to say. Not because he's afraid of Starlet or anything, that's just how they communicate in their house. He likes that he's close enough with his father that Starlet can anticipate his needs before he even has to voice them.
Around others he's much more vocal. While he's not the best at showing emotions, he does voice what he's thinking far more frequently. He's best at it with his best friend Alice, with others he's a little slow. This is mostly because he's testing the waters to see how much information they like having about his mental condition.
Much like his father, Aphelion is interested in science. He doesn't have a favor for Astronomy like Starlet has, but he does enjoy it if only to understand his father a little better. He also enjoys art, but isn't particularly sure how to go about exploring it, so it's a mostly untapped interest.
While Starlet is in university, he stays in the Academy dorms during the week with occasional mid-week visits to Starlet's dorm. On the weekends, Starlet sets aside everything to spend time with Aphelion alone. He likes that his father sets aside special time for him. He doesn't mind that he mostly lives in the dorms, it gives him more opportunity to make friends.
Starlet's mutations are something that he doesn't tend to think about much. He uses all four of his eyes to see, so he can switch between pairs if he wants. Often times he closes the bottom pair when meeting new people, just so they aren't startled. Aphelion is very observant, but he also has a strong intuition. He tends to figure things out very quickly after a few moments of watching. Though a lot of the time he has trouble putting words to what it is he's figured out.☆☆Affectionate
Believe it or not, he's a very affectionate person. Hand-holding, hugs, cuddling and verbal compliments are all things Aphelion highly prizes. Although, he doesn't really engage in physical displays of affection with people he's not close with.☆☆Dedicated

His family owned their own little orchard and spent most of their time working on it, away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. They were fairly traditional people, they don't really understand the bigger world and the way in which its changing. As a result, Tethys doesn't speak to them much.
Tethys himself was a bit of an accident. They had bought and imbued a stone in September, but ran into some financial troubles that made them reconsider awakening it right away. Over the next few weeks, the problem resolved, but it was then October and therefore unsafe to awaken the stone. Unfortunately, during a cleaning of the room, Tethys' mother tripped and fell, knocking right into it along with the other stone they had imbued.
The other infant was born with fatal mutations, they only lasted a few minutes in the world before succumbing and passing on. Tethys himself has a simple mutation- colored pupils that constantly glow. Overcome with grief, his mother was never really able to bond with him that well, and his father - despite his best efforts - usually saw him as an abomination. If asked, Tethys will say that he had a good childhood with good parents. To an extent, that's true. He was well provided for and had almost anything he wanted...
Except for actual attention from his parents. Tethys spent most of his time in the care of nannies or tutors, he was kept out of the public school system for fear of being bullied but also to save the face of the family. So, with little else to do, Tethys focused entirely on his studies. A natural talent for Magic ran in his family, and Tethys liked to use illusion magic best. He could make his eyes appear normal that way. Unable to handle his mutation, they figured it would be better to place him in the care of the orphanage rather than hold onto him. So, Leif grew up in the care of the orphanage caretakers, surrounded by other children his age, both mutated and "normal."
While Leif was never actively picked on, he did get the occasional double take or gasp from his peers and occasionally new caretakers. Leif knew he was different, but he didn't really understand why. He developed a habit of avoiding eye-contact to lessen the amount of strange looks, which helped in the end.
Leif is not particularly bad at speaking to people, he's just very shy. He has a small stammer that crops up every so often, so he tends to let others do most of the talking, even though he does like to socialize. It's something that, along with his eyes, he's self-conscious about.
At 9, Leif was adopted by Corben Datura, an Asphodel Academy teacher who frequently volunteered at the orphanage. He'd always liked Corben's weekly "outdoor adventures," and viewed him as a sort of "favorite volunteer," even though he'd never quite worked up the courage to talk to him at length. Corben's energy was quite overwhelming!
Now that he has a home of his own and is attending the academy, he's starting to have to try to reorient himself to the new social order of the academy. It's leaving him feeling a little lost and unsure, but he does like it so far. If he thinks someone is having a bad day (based off of observations) Leif does his absolute best to accommodate them in every way he can. On occasion, with people he knows, he'll reach out of them first to see if they're alright or if he can do anything for them.◉◉Optimistic

He was only recently sent to the Academy, partially because times were getting too hard for the family to maintain so many children, but also because they thought it would benefit him to acquire knowledge form more sources. He doesn't particularly like having been sent away, but he doesn't really talk about that, as it would be seen as disrespectful of his family's wishes. He fully plans to return home after his education is complete.
Despite having grown up completely surrounded but other Litches, far too north to have much interaction with Imps, Prometheus is quite skilled at emoting on the same level as other races. Though his reflexes are still dulled, he's developed a way of moving that makes it seem purposeful, rather than someone with an active mind struggling to control an uncooperative body.
Despite getting along fairly well with others, he tends to see himself as separate, only feeling remotely close to other litches. Pure litches, that is. The hybrids are touch and go, so many of them don't seem to fall within proper litch behavior. ♔♔♔♔Likes♔♔♔♔Dislikes

Prometheus is a very polite child. He always seems to be thinking of others first, especially what their wants and needs will be. He's very mature for his age, and shows it with his actions and words.

In the good sense. Prometheus analyzes the world around him to inform his actions and words. He rarely speaks without thinking first, and prefers to plan out his actions before committing to them.
◊◊Charming
He's aware that his politeness is a desired trait, and he uses it to the best of his ability. Some people cannot help but be drawn in by the natural charm he exudes. He's very emotive in a warm fashion for being a Litch, which contributes to the draw.
◊◊Self-Motivated
When he settles on what he wants to do, he's very motivated to accomplish it. He rarely needs pushing from others, although it is appreciated. Whatever goals he has, he will achieve them.

Although he appears to be very engaged with everyone around him, Prometheus actually holds the world at arm's length. Emotional attachments are a weakness to him.

Prometheus came to the Academy as a Freshling, straight from a small village that was largely isolated in Boreas. He did not choose to come- his parents decided that it was safer for him to be at the Academy, though they did not tell him why.
Feeling a little rejected, angry, and homesick, Prometheus primarily stuck to himself. He experienced immense culture shock from the difference between his village and Asphodel, not to mention had a rather hard time understanding everyone else at first as his village has their own dialect of a more Litch-centric language that they use.
After months of loneliness, he finally made several friends, most of which were also part Litch. Perigor, Histeol, Ustule and Parodia made up his small band of friends, though partway though his Freshling years at the Academy Parodia seemed to disappear. Still, he was happy to have the friends that he had, and eventually came to accept that he was not going to be able to return home any time soon.Stuff goes here
