Blarney, Squire of Earth
HP: 66/75
Location: E4->C4
Action: Attacking skellies w shillelagh
Interaction Roll: 1d10 (2nd level physical damage)
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 1d10 = 7

Blarney beamed as he watched the pillar light up - he wasn't even a little bit surprised, because his sister was basically the smartest person in the whole wide world. She'd always been the brains between the two of them, and he wasn't the least bit shocked that her knowledge extended to alien pillars and their activation.

"Way to go!" Blarney said as Edam joined him, looking determinedly toward the last pillar that stood between them and, hopefully, all of the skeletons' permanent destruction. His wall, cool though he thought it was, wasn't really much good here, given that the skeletons just kept reforming, so he went for a more straightforward approach:

He hit them really hard on the head with a stick.

He cleared the way for his sister behind him to, hopefully, be able to work her magic (maybe literally? what did he know about Cybele Knights' abilities?) on the last pillar.

Edam, Page of Cybele
HP: 38/50
Location: F4->D4
Action: Skellies
Interaction Roll: 1d8 physical attack
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 8

Edam's rush of victory was somewhat shortlived, hampered by the fact that the skeletons kept reforming, like some sort of demented Scooby-Doo cartoon where there were magnets or string in all the pieces to put them together again. She couldn't make it through the gaggle of fighting, not even with Blarney leading the way and trying to clear a path for her, but that last pillar still wasn't lit, so Edam sighed to herself.

If you want something done right... she thought, darting after her brother. On her way, she leaned down and snatched up what she thought was a patella bone from one of the skeletons Blarney had knocked to pieces, hooked it into her slingshot, took aim as best she could at a skeleton that was lurching toward Blarney, and let it fly, hoping that even if she missed the skeleton, she wouldn't accidentally hit her brother instead...

Edam let out a mad-sounding cackle when the patella bone found its mark truly, breaking through the skeleton's skull and causing the whole thing to tumble apart. Blarney looked over his shoulder in surprise, and Edam grinned widely at him, feeling exhilarated in spite of herself.

"I couldn't let you have all the fun, little brother!"

Character Name and journal link Cernunnos of Freedom
HP: 44 - 6 = 38
Location: F4
Action: Getting attacked, trying to do some damage to the skellies
Interaction Roll: -
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 4 damage

"Just... wonderful!" Cernunnos called back to the stranger, wishing whatever magic he'd been doing had been a little more successful at blocking the monsters. Not that he was going to complain about someone trying to help, at least out loud.

Someone had gotten the pillar to do whatever pillar things it was supposed to do and that left him with nothing to really do other than flail at the bone things and hope he could fend them off. Despite how long he'd been on Earth, Cernunnos was still not a great fighter... he didn't like to do it, and that dislike meant he avoided it whenever possible.

"Ow!" He yelped as something clubbed in the shoulder, knocking him into another monster that batted him back the other way. Sore, bruised, he struck out at them with his fists, feeling them connect with brittle bone.

Kiringul of Cosmos
HP: 63/75
Location: B4
Action: Trading blows with the zombies
Interaction Roll: N/A
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 8 phys dmg

Kiringul's plan of action after showing up and getting ported off to a planet after a brief explanation (after which he decided he did want to help, which was why he stayed long enough to get teleported along with the group) was also to stick to familiar faces. You know. As soon as he spotted one, which he eventually did, particularly because his motif was quite a bit like his own. Doing his best to keep his bright pink eyes on Yetzirah, Kiringul ducked and dodged his way through the zombies. It was probably a good thing that he was so used to getting roughed up on his knightly patrols, because the scratching and clawing didn't do too much to deter him. It hurt, sure, but he retaliated with a few solid kicks and punches of his own.

"We aren't gonna turn if these things manage to bite us or something, right?" he asked as he joined the group by one of the pillars, moving to kick a zombie swiping at him. The question was more directed at Yetzirah, because he actually knew him and could apparently spot him in a crowd in the middle of something as chaotic as a zombie hoard, though he gave a brief nod to the others there, too.

Urda of Blackthorn
HP: 63/75
Location: C3
Action: Fighting skellies
Interaction Roll: N/A
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 5 phys dmg

Even with the warning about skeletons being puppeted, actually seeing the things in action still had a shock factor to it. Urda, for one, froze when he spotted one coming straight at him, and it was probably good luck that he slipped on the first step of him trying to get the hell out of its way because, while falling to the rocky ground of the beach wasn't the most pleasant, he had a feeling he was better off dealing with that pain than a bony fist in his face or teeth sunk into his skin.

The senshi rolled along the ground a bit before scrambling back onto his feet as quickly as he could, narrowly dodging another zombie but slamming right into another one along the way. If his face didn't hurt so much he might have found the domino effect a bit more amusing, but rather than smile he scowled at the sight and sidestepped the pile of bones to try and get at two more that managed to cling on to a senshi not too far from him.

Before he could make it there to even try and help, though, the skeletons decided to collapse right at said senshi's feet. Urda blinked at the sight, then moved to try and start kicking them away.

"Damn," he said, glancing toward the senshi, "was that you?"

Haik of Currents
HP: 63/75
Location: B4
Action: Traying to solve Pillar 1
Interaction Roll:
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A

Haik had stared longingly at the beach as soon as they arrived, though he didn't exactly have the time to properly appreciate it. A zombie leapt at him not long after their arrival, and after dodging safely out of its way the senshi turned and made a break toward one of the pillars. He'd only ever seen moving skeletons on TV but he was pretty well convinced from just that exposure that they were bad and would try to kill you if you weren't careful. Not that he thought he would ever run into such things, but then again he also thought he'd be trapped in the depths of his homeworld for the rest of his life and here he was, so.

Maybe he should have expected to run into dangerous "living" skeletons at some point in his life post-escape from his planet.

He suffered a few scratches and bruises as he went but he eventually came to a skidding stop by the pillar. He quickly tried his hand at solving it to no avail, and he got a few more scratches for his trouble. At least he wasn't the only one trying, he thought as he glanced at the others there with him. What was the saying?

The more heads, the better?

He looked thoughtful at that, head tilting slightly. It...didn't sound right.

Creedence of Clearwater (cat form)
HP: (6 auto damage) 44/50
Location: B4
Action: Still Puzzling at Pillar 1

"Well of course I knew they make laser beams," Creedence huffily reassured the area, where nobody had asked. Seeing Alekto pawing at the pillar, she moved back to keep on batting at the thing.

"No...no! like this!"

It was not, in fact, like that.

Grieve of the Collapse
HP: (6 auto damage) 69/75
Location: E3
Action: FIGHT
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: (1d10 for punch, 10 + 1d6 basic magic, 10 + 2d6 super magic)

"Babe, you are so good at making this s**t look lazy," Grieve said in way of compliment. It wasn't her own style of fighting, but it was a style she could respect. The ******** kept reforming, but dumping s**t into the pit looked solution-shaped enough that she kicked the remain of one down into it, then hurled the spine she been swinging about after.

Looking down at the limbs and bits trying to get back out, she wondered aloud, "Hey, what if they all combine into one ******** huge one?"

HP: (6 auto damage) 88/100
Location: E3 > E2
Action: FIGHT
Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 17

"Well don't give them ideas," she said hastily. "What if you're just tossing them into the big old blender?"

As if to counteract this, she intentionally made sure to try and fell the next approaching skeleton away from the basin.
