Transcended Eternal Scylla

Your life is yours, Caedus. No matter what anyone else thinks or wants. It was true, and as Scylla looked around the room, she reminded herself of that. His CHOICE was why she had fought Lyndin for his starseed- CHOICE was part of why she fought the Negaverse. If Caedus chose to allow himself to be reborn, after everything... It would hurt. But she would be at peace with it, knowing that the decision had been his to make. To rest, after a thousand years of pain.

The knight that had protected them rose, and Scylla brushed her cool fingers over Caedus' cheek, taking in the sight of others. Lepus, seeming well and healthy. Castor, whole and sassing her- he got a flat look as he passed by. She'd already kissed the man once without his consent. If it happened again it would NOT be on Elzo's suggestion. Pollux, she noted at last, unconscious on the floor, and she was moments from rising, worry for another man she cared for clear- until she saw Charybdis, nudging him in the side with a toe, and relaxed. If it had been REALLY bad the girl wouldn't be kicking him. Probably.

One of the aliens approached (Lixian), and Scylla shifted to allow the young man access to his King. Gave the alien a warm, hopeful smile. Held steady, in case Caedus chose to take the other's hand and lift himself, and needed support. Another (Vaylin) came rushing over and Scylla smiled at the worry clear in the other's face, and voice.

Hyperborea's magic flowed through them all, warm and gentle, and far-too-brief. As Scylla smiled at her, she thought, somewhere, she could hear the familiar voice of Skoll, and her head spun to look for her ally. She hadn't seen Puck or Megrez before or during the battle- she could only hope they were safe. (But where was Myrrha? Where- Where- had she sent her off to death? Or worse- corruption? And where was-

Nephthys approached next, and Scylla reached out as the Senshi of Vampires, her fellow Thorn, sank down next to her, hugging the other woman tightly with the arm that wasn't holding the hand of Beta Leporis. Relief flooded her to see Genevieve safe and sound. "We made it." she agreed with a shocked laugh. "Most of us." Those who had been corrupted. Lyndin, the other members of the Vanguard... Caedus wasn't ready to hear it, surely. He was still barely breathing, from what she could tell, still dealing with the pain of his re-entered starseed.

"I think we're going to be okay." she called back to Lourdes. And then she exhaled. Squeezed the hand of Beta Leporis. "And we're going to get your sister back." she nodded her head to Nephthys, and to Bellatrix as the other Transcended Eternal knelt next to her. "Bellatrix, Nephthys, this is the newest member of Team Thorn. Which feels very poorly named right now." They had NOT done as much plan-ruining as she hoped to see happen in the future once they were a bit more organized. Knew each other better, and all.

"Velencians," she spoke out to the other aliens (Aeleas, Neryn, Valnyr), who all seemed to be connecting with allies, and gestured down- "It's okay to come here if you're worried about Caedus. His eyes are open. I am sure he would want to see your faces, and know you're safe."

Not to mention if anyone got aggressive about their presence... it would be easier to protect them.

Sailor Minkowski

Someone was calling her name, a voice that sounded familiar, and Minkowski turned her head to find Anser next to her, seemingly relieved to find her awake. This surprised Minkowski, to know that someone cared enough about her well-being; she had expected Anser to leave her behind, to forget all about her, once she went down. A voice, of course, in the back of her mind, reminded her that this is what happened when you had friends (they cared about you), but the young woman couldn't help but still feel ashamed of herself, for the fact that she had been unable to do more to help out during the fight.

So, as Anser attempted to explain to her what had occurred between then and now, and where they might just happen to be, the senshi of butterflies looked away from Anser, turning her gaze to the floor. She might have seemed happy to see Minkowski awake now, but surely she was actually disappointed in the older senshi, and simply not voicing that thought out loud while others were gathered around, right?

"I'm sorry," Minkowski said quietly, "In the end, I wasn't able to do much. I must have let you down, right?"

Sailor Primula

Primula had gone with Charybdis to assist in retrieving her downed brother, if only because her sister had gone that way too, and also because she felt that her magic would be of a help if they were to get attacked, as the spectral primroses seemed to cause people to feel that they should protect her from harm. Unsurprisingly, Eriphyla was unharmed, which Primula... really should have predicted, maybe, and her older sister even teased the younger girl a bit for being so worried over her.

(Primula might have teared up a little. Just a little. Still wasn't a crybaby, though.)

There hadn't been much time for reunions, though, as the center console had started to go off. The first blast knocked them back, and Primula could have sworn she heard her sister say something along the lines of 'Oh dear, that isn't good.'. The second blast seemed like it would be the end of them all, seeing as there was no escape, and Primula could only think about all the stray cats near their mom's shop that she had been caring for- who would care for them now?

Except, well, like. Any explosive demise she may have been anticipating didn't come, and there was a bright glow, and a sensation of floating. When the light faded, Primula blinked in confusion as she found herself in an unfamiliar place, together with the people she had previously been with.

Including her spacey older sister, of course.

Sailor Eriphyla

Eriphyla, as usual, seemed to be oblivious to the severity of the situation as usual, in spite of the fretting her baby sister seemed to be doing. Then again, it was Charice, so it was probably to be expected. When wasn't her head in the clouds? The only thing that usually ever seemed to really catch her attention was when plant life was being threatened, after all.

(It was a miracle she had even remembered how to power up when Primula had begged her to go with her earlier that night, even!)

While Primula seemed to still be getting her bearings, Eriphyla meanwhile glanced over at the chibi senshi her sister had been assisting, who seemed to be in the process of nudging the prone body of an unconscious senshi with her foot. "Oh dear, that doesn't look good," Eriphyla said to her sister, "Do you think he'll be alright?"

She didn't have any more of those weird ugly bones, so.

Viatrix

When it looked like the central console was about to actually blow, she threw her cat body in front of Ran's to shield him. She was certain it wouldn't do terribly much. She was a cat. He was a senshi about as tall as Encke's husband. She still felt responsible for Ran, still felt like she had to do her best to protect the senshi that she had awoken and brought into this fight--

It was fortunate that Viatrix's attempt to defend Ran wouldn't ever have to come to fruition.

She blinked, her form uncurling as she found herself on a cool floor instead of a field that was going to eminently explode. She looked around, spotting a few things -- one, Ran was still near her, two, that several of hers were in the room, three, that she should probably leave most of them alone, wrapped up in other conversation -- Ran became her first priority, and she turned herself back toward her adopted senshi of the day, her eyes dancing in encouragement.

"We lived!"

That in itself, though, was not terribly encouraging.

She bumped him in the arm with her head anyway.

"I'm sorry you had to see that. Feel that. No one thought that the Negaverse would show up quite like," she made a sound much like clicking the tongue on the top of her mouth, "well, that. Most we were told was a few at the last minute. Not enough to," nearly turn everyone-- "Anyway. We're on the moon now."

After everything they had been through that day, it would probably seem less weird than the alternative.

Promethei, Page of Mercury

Promethei thought they were assuredly about to die -- damn, what a life, who would tell Tobias and Elliot they had died from literally getting exploded by an alien space laser -- when a star brooch appeared on his chest and he and Imhotep were instead in an archaic-looking room in a royal-looking hallway. With some old machine that sounded like it hadn't been updated in perhaps a few years.

Centuries?

He heard people around him talking about the concept of being on the Moon, and whereas Imhotep always had kept his dismay to himself, Promethei hissed, "Are you <********> serious?" to Imhotep the moment he heard about Moon-anything. "The Moon. How the hell are we on the damn Moon?"

He paused.

"Well. I guess we were on ******** Mercury, which should be uninhabitable, period--"

He raked a hand through his hair.

"We explaining this bit to Toby?"

Abzu, Page of Neptune

Great. Teach him to ever listen to floating messages again. He really had no interest in dying here.

And yet, there he was, dying.

Was that the explosion of an asteroid above them? It really had no rights being so visually appealing, considering, although maybe he should stop looking at it. No need to stare at the fire as it came for him and burned them all to a crisp.

He closed his eyes tight to blind himself to the impending explosion, but the sound that he expected and the total whiteout that he also expected never happened. Slowly, Abzu uncurled himself, blinking his eyes as he adjusted to the new world of not dying. The ... quite literal new world. Where the hell were they?

... Did someone say the moon?

... The moon. They were actually in space.

Abzu turned to the businessman who apparently had walked through a shredder next to him and asked, pleadingly, "Please tell me I smoked too much today."

================

Super Sailor Hydor

Hydor blinked at getting addressed, turning toward the Neptune ... page next to him. Definitely a page. Energy signature was right, and also he was asking that question in way too stunned of a fashion to be anything else.

"No. Everything that is happening around you is definitely real."

As he watched the Neptunian page groan and bury his head in his hands, Hydor turned his attention outward. He did recognize the architecture around him, and the occasional murmurs about being on the moon only backed up what he suspected. Whatever had saved them from their imminent doom had been obvious; he looked down to the star brooch that formed over his own and determined that, naturally, it was Cosmos. She was a mysterious figure he hadn't exactly met in person, but--

Well. Been around long enough and done enough research to know who she was.

Hydor still felt vaguely woozy, but between listening to Pendour's music, Aogashima's song, and the boost that he was getting from just being on the Moon, he didn't feel particularly faint anymore. It was easier to think, easier to push beyond the vestiges of the panic attack, and he found himself waiting patiently for the apparent meeting with a queen who didn't know how to keep her appointments.

Did someone say she was a ghost? Somehow not the most surprising thing he heard that day.

Transcendent Super Anser

Minkowski's quiet question caused Anser's brows to rise. Let down? She shifted where she sat, shaking her head in reassurance.

"Oh, not at all." Her grin was as bright as could be, the anger at the Negaverse easily easing back in the presence of allies and people who weren't attempting to kill them all-- "Healers are important, yeah? I think you let me get another hit in before we got overwhelmed."

And of course, to show off, Anser flexed just a bit.

Look, she knew she was strong, and she wasn't afraid to show that--

"And every hit on those generators counted for us getting them down. More heals, more hits. So!" Without asking, Anser clapped her hand on Minkowski's shoulder. "You did good!"

She wasn't really sure she could call anything that had transpired a win, but they were alive, and neither of them were corrupted, and that had to count for something, right? As a bonus, her brother and his husband looked alright toward the center of the room there--

Super Sailor Asmodeus

Seeing Seraphinite had been a thousand shocks to Asmodeus's system, over and over, when she was already half-mired in memories of a future that could never come. A future she had first remembered before she was even a Senshi--a future that had driven her, with desperation, to seek out Remarque and become a Dark Mirror Senshi, as she'd been in her dreams.

And then she had realized that even in the present, the Dark Mirror operated on a knife's edge. Balanced between the Negaverse and Order, unwilling to take a stand either way. Unwilling to condemn the Negaverse's brutality. The realization had been crushing, and had eventually sent her out, to Order, and here she was. With her battle-sister and her boyfriend. Better. Freer.

But not entirely free. She had known that from the moment she started to see that dark future in the pulsing generators. And while her arms bled sluggishly, and she turned to stare, despairing, at the center console as it prepared to blow, part of Asmodeus was glad. If this was the Negaverse's great victory, at least in this version, she wouldn't live to witness it.

But there was warmth. A star brooch blooming on her chest. And her heart skipped.

It was a familiar five-pointed star that belonged to someone Asmodeus knew. Cosmos, the woman who had purified her, freed her from Chaos. She recognized it from Cosmos's uniform, and she would never forget the beautiful, ethereal white-haired Princess that had set her free.

So she was already reassured, when she looked around and saw that they were no longer on the field of battle. No longer in the way of a massive blast that would easily have killed them all.

"Skoll!" She moved to the other Senshi, and wished she had been just a little faster, to maybe keep her from falling over. "I'm here. I'm alive. Hati?" She called, searching for him. He shouldn't be far, she hoped. They'd all been together before, at least.

Saturn Transcendent Knight Erebus

The punch in the face from the corrupt had given him had sent Erebus back a good few steps and he had brought his unoccupied hand up to cover what he suspected was going to be a black eye later. The Knight didn't even get the chance to react farther when the situation got worse with added explosions and then better with broach teleports to the moon with a console saying they had an appointment with a queen.

Once their new surroundings registered, Erebus dismissed his oar and looked around the others, hoping to spot Metis. When he had last seen her she had said that she was going to head off to help destroy more generators and even though he knew she could take care of herself, visual confirmation would be nice at least.

While he didn't see his cousin right away, he did spot Ganymede and Valhalla, with the princess looking rather shaky. Now he never really interacted with them often, beyond maybe a few greetings here and there at meetings if Venice was by his side, but Ganymede was his husbands princess and she had done quite a few purification in a very short while so he didn't hesitate to make a beeline over to them. When he was close enough to them to have a polite conversation he gave the duo a small smile. "Sorry if this seems rather forward of me, but I don't know what path Valhalla follows and you spent a lot of energy." he gave a nod to Ganymede as he said this. "Would you like some help? I still have a lot of energy to share." The Knight offered his hand out in case she did take him up on his offer but certainly wouldn't hold it against her if she turned said offer down.

Mauvian Hania

Hania had barely been paying attention to the rest of the generators and the console threatening to blow up, barely acknowledged that the Archideus had explored in a morbidly beautiful light show. No, his attention had been on Guinevere, his eyes locked on to her as the purple haze surrounded all that were affiliated with chaos, his heart shattered when the young woman was teleported away with the rest.

It was only when a broach appeared in front of his face that he snapped out of it and he only had a moment to look around for Morgan and Arthuradel before everyone on the order side was teleported out as well. The floating feeling that came in that instant made him just want to curl up on himself but it was lucky he hadn't given in as they were left in a room and he was once again standing on shaking legs.

He took a few deep breaths to try and calm himself, to pack his emotions for later, so he could see if he could be of use now. Once he had done the best he could he raised his eyes from the floor and started to look around for Morgan and Arthur, pushing down the panic he felt when he didn't see them right away.

Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn

Aokigagara had never felt so utterly helpless as when that damned Captain had seemed to appear out of nowhere to strike Yomi. He was too tired, too weighed down, to move and even attempt to defend his brother, and in that moment, he feared, briefly, that they would both die on her spear because he was too weak to fight and because the very air around them was so charged with Chaos that she was likely far, far stronger than a Captain ought to be--whereas they had both been fighting, trying to stop the Negaverse's plans.

There was nothing he could do, save for attempt to interpose himself between Yomi and the Captain--but he could barely make himself do that.

It was then, perhaps, to their benefit when the generator in the center started to pulse.

Lights in the sky, a thousand shards of color, drew his eyes, briefly.

The comet. Archideus. Velenia's lost, broken moon. Clearly, the generator had connected with it as promised, and blown it apart, as promised. No other part of this plan had been as promised.

Aokigahara wondered how much Lyndin had lied to them. How much Lyndin himself had been lied to. The Negaverse, after all, was not exactly known for honesty and forthrightness. This Captain had chosen to attack two Squires, one of whom was barely alive and bleeding out.

(Aokigahara did not like to admit that he was bleeding out, and that whether or not they left this battlefield, he might not make it.)

Magic pulled the Negaverse away, and Aokigahara exhaled.

But the generator was still pulsing. And it looked about to blow.

His shoulders sagged, and he sighed. Perhaps none of them would make it out of here; perhaps that was the Negaverse's great victory. Slaughter all of them in a single, fell sweep of death and destruction.

But before he had long enough to truly accept that death was coming, there was...a gentleness. A warmth. And suddenly, they were no longer on the field of battle. They were somewhere else--somewhere unfamiliar and yet known. It had been a very long time since Aokigahara had been on the moon, but he remembered it; recognized the architecture and the beauty.

And apparently, someone had an appointment with the Queen. How utterly, comedically absurd.

He looked for Yomi, and spotted him, and let out a tired little laugh of delight. His wound no longer seemed quite so dire, and death no longer felt as if it loomed quite so assuredly, and the sound was less of mirth and more of pure, exhausted relief.

He reached for his brother, grinning in a way that wasn't quite mad or manic, but was certainly on the edge of those, and full of relief.

"We made it," he said. "Despite all the Negaverse's best efforts. Here we are, still alive."

And wasn't that just the mantra of Order. Every battle, every step of the way, every time they stood up and resisted, every time they struggled.

Here we are, still alive.

Page Kitezh of Cosmos

For her first day 'on the job', Kitezh hadn't exactly anticipated that this may be her last. It had only been a few hours- not even a full day- and she was already facing down potential death? She might have considered it a world record, if she didn't suspect that this probably happened often.

Probably.

Well, it wasn't as if there had been time for explanations, given that Hirundo was as clueless as she was, and had only known the basics. So, maybe, it was forgivable that she had largely been improvising a plan on the fly, following whatever Hirundo was doing. Kitezh wasn't sure what this place they had ended up was, but it looked like it once was a very impressive room of importance. The computer spoke of an appointment with the Queen, but she didn't know what Queen that was. A star-shaped brooch on her uniform resembled the stars on her uniform, which she understood somehow to be a symbol of Cosmos... whoever that was.

A door leading out of the room led to a hallway; curious, Kitezh decided to follow it to wherever it led to.

Super Sailor Myrrha

At first - one wouldn't blame Myrrha for thinking that she had died and thus the floating sensation that she awoke to was that of being apart from her own body. It was only when the young woman realized that there was still an earthly weight associated with the strange sensation did she begin to believe that maybe once again the side of Order had either prevailed, or at least been rescued in a timely fashion. Finding herself deposited in what she surmised was a giant room that resembled a planetarium amphitheater had the super senshi rub at her eyes frantically. Last time she had checked she had been falling to hit the ground unconscious at the battlefield.

What was it that had roused her to consciousness? Myrrha sat up carefully to assess her own injuries and made a sound that would have been labelled as confusion to even begin to note that the many places that she had been struck earlier seemed to not pain her anymore. Pleased with the simple fact Myrrha rolled her shoulders, stretched her arms and managed to rise to her feet. She wobbled for a moment before hearing her name from someone across the room. Moments passed before Myrrha would seemingly have materlized near Scylla's location as she fought of the residual confusion at hearing a console chirp that an appointed meeting would occur shortly. A quirked eyebrow was given to the console before she groaned softly. So - still not one-hundred percent but at least she was able to be on her feet and walking around unaided.

"Scylla, what's going on? Last thing I remember was hitting the ground after trying to take out one of those generator things."

Her gaze took in the downed form of Caedus - who seemed alive but totally out of it. Just what had happened?

Sailor Hati

Hati was utterly exhausted by everything that had happened. He wanted nothing more than to slump to the floor and sleep. They'd barely been saved by Cosmos, and honestly, he was angry that she hadn't shown up sooner. They'd suffered so much loss, and for what?

His eyes raked over their new surroundings, noting that they were in the Moon Kingdom. Well, that was something, at least. At least they were all safe and not in any danger of the Negaverse coming in to finish off what the explosion hadn't done.

Still, as much as he wanted to sleep... He had other things to tend to first.

"Skoll! Asmo!" he shouted in relief as they came together, looking for him.

He raced over and wrapped the two of them in a bear hug. Hopefully this would be over soon, and they would all have a nice long sleep.

"We should've trusted him more than we did," he disagreed, shaking his head and looking disappointed in himself. "I'm not saying Caedus deserved any of what happened because of Lyndin, or anyone else, but I can understand the choice he had to make. Let the extinction of their entire race pass before him, or ask one person to die so that their starseed can be reborn and fix everything?"

He shook his head again. "I don't agree with how he went about it, or how it all came out, but... That kind of decision is something I can't blame him anything for. Did you see how much it hurt him, or any of that?"

He'd looked up to Hyperborea before this, but now he wasn't sure he'd ever see her in the same light again. To him, she'd let her righteous anger blind her and come before anything else.

Illyria - Mauvian

The feeling of a larger body curling itself around her in an an effort to protect was profoundly appreciated by the young Guardian cat even if she wished to be bigger in order to be protecting the senshi that had come to mean so much to Illyria. How strange was this feeling of contentment that washed over her small frame, that even in what could be her final moments did she feel like a young kit, safe and warm as she nestled into her mother's side. A thundering purr was her only response to Ida's command to stay down. A frisson of fear wracked her tiny frame as she heard the explosion that heralded the central console's dying moments - physically pushing Ida back - before peeking with uncertainty at Ida's face. What would happen with the next blast? Would anyone survive? Would she, would Ida?

As a subsequent blast sounded in her ears Illyria closed her eyes tightly, scrunched up in preparation for what would seem like instant evaporation and yet the sensation she was dreading never materialized. Instead a warmth filled her veins. She felt herself still in Ida's protective grasp but the pair moved in a lazily winding river of pleasant energy before she shook off the dream-like stasis that she had been held in. A gentle headbutt to Ida's arms and a small but growing louder purr would be indications that she'd been well shielded and she glanced to Ida with a curious tilt to her head.

She didn't recognize this place but something about it felt like safety had been achieved. A chirping sound and an electronic sounding voice confirmed an appointment being made but the guardian cat merely began to lick at a paw before swiping it across her face. Her voice was hushed as she queried Ida, "Where are we? Do you know?"

Cadet Valnyr

Grasped by the arm, Valnyr would have to grow accustomed to the sudden contact that had become more common in her life in recent weeks. However the voice that came with it was familiar and she turned to look at the cadet. It was Neryn, Neryn who had made a choice that Valnyr understood no ill will to, so why was it that they seemed to find a need to apologise?

"Why are you apologising?" she asked and shook her head. "There is no need," she pointed out with a wry smile. Perhaps others might have thought differently, perhaps firing upon a comrade would have been considered a cardinal sin; but when everything had started to deteriorate and each of them had needed to decide wha tthe best course of action was for them... It had been Valnyr who stepped out of line first.

Not Neryn.

Not any of them.

To be fired upon by an individual who had chosen to follow orders was entirely reasonable and quite frankly, she would have expected it. In the end, she would never place blame on her fellow cadets for that.

She did at least remember her manners though and motioned to Aogashima with considerable warmth. The squire had already begun to explain where they were (sort of), and by extension, had begun to provide the alien with at least a measure of understanding of where she might be. Valnyr couldn't say she understood all of it, but by the good grace of someone, they weren't all dead.

"This is Aogashima," she offered the Squire's name. "A friend," she added and cleared her throat.

"She says we are on the Moon?" she glanced at Aogashima for reassurance. "Their moon that is, the one that shone in their sky," she continued.

A pause followed.

"Though it would seem that no one quite understands why we are all here," she admitted and shook her head slowly. "Beyond a moment of respite, perhaps a choice made to ensure we did not all succumb to our final moments." She finished.

Either that or they really all were in the After Life's waiting room and were collectively oblivious to it all, she would have to wait for this 'appointment' to determine if this was the case... But she had had enough speculation for one day and had no interest in pondering that.
