The students of beacon all gather around the chasm's entry point. A large metallic platform with rappelling gear. Each student takes their turn being lowered carefully into the cave below where they await their team. It doesn't feel like they are just outside the walls of Vale, but much farther away now even though they can still see the looming shadow of the wall obstructing what little light that would have been there for them near the bottom. The stale air of the cavern was gritty with dust and had a foreboding aftertaste.
Before each student went down they were made to pass by a table manned by school personal who handed out survival packs designed to keep you alive for up to a whole week. It has everything from paracord, gas masks, to space blankets. Nobody expects them to be down there for that long, but its good policy to be well equipped when venturing into an unknown cave system.
Your team, once assembled, receives a text to their Scrolls stating a few ominous facts: 1. Reception is expected to quickly disappear as they venture into the cave. 2. Scrolls have already had a software update that will beep if any toxic fumes are sensed, and 3. Grimm activity has increased off in the distance.
Your team now ventures Into ƚhҽ Đαɾƙnҽss. At first you are unable to see anything beyond the shallow beam of light that pierces into the chasm from above. You hear small splashes of feet in puddles. The rocks are jagged and many small pools of water reflect the light from the flashlights you hold. The chasm is dark, damp, and all around dreadful. Your eyes slowly adjust to the chasm revealing its massive size. It was at least 100 meters in diameter if not more. A howling wind rushes through it, the only sound otherwise was the rhythmic pattern of water droplets from above. The wind was flowing into the cave which indicated that there must be another opening on the far side.
A green light shines from, flashing a few times then taking a short pause before it repeated. This was the signal that all teams are good to go. You set out with your teams across the grey shale floor careful not to trip on any of its jagged edges. It takes a long while before you notice anything truly strange. After about an hour you finally get to the split in cavern paths. Đαɾƙ ₳lphα is the larger of the two. It heads straight on into the darkness. Đαɾƙ Ømҽgα, however, is a smaller offshoot that heads towards the right.

Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team ROKA
Reikka had been quiet during the whole thing. With Nox, Auburn, Dee and her staying in a gathered and tight formation as they cautiously entered the cave after they had all equipped themselves before the descent, Rei felt like they were all feeling very awkward and timid about the whole situation. They were all still getting used to each other. She had been too busy listening intently to the surroundings, and allowed her bright cerulean eyes to scan the teams behind them as well as the road into the cave ahead. She had hopes that they would all try to keep a low profile since they would have no idea what they would find in the huge cavern. But she had a feeling that some of them wouldn’t be able to keep their noise to themselves. Plus a few convos erupted on the way. No matter. All they really needed was to stay in their designated team positions, and they’d be set to meet death with a smile. Rei’s team was at the front, for which she felt like it was just their luck to be vanguard. Reikka practically led the way into the cavern, with her teammates as well as the other teams, for which she felt like she wasn’t worthy to do so. Then again, it was more like a responsibility rather than a duty. And so she did so without complaint, and acted all complacent with the whole thing. She had always been like that, the type to go with the flow. She was always willing to get things done, even when it compromised her own opinions. And yet her temper for when things went to hell was also not to be contended with.
The cavern had been moist and dark. The smell of growing mold greeted her nose, while the pitch-black dark greeted her eyes. Her senses felt muted, even though she wasn’t alone. No noise came from the depths, except maybe the trickling sound of water somewhere. The distant squeak of bats could also be heard. The ground was rocky and gravelly, but their shoes were designed to keep everything out of the shoes, and at the same time withstanding the ground’s tough exterior. The sun from the entrance shone like a beacon, yet was cutoff by the darkness creeping inward from the cave. Reikka had kept her weapon together and sheathed well, while her cap kept her head warm despite the cool air coming from the other entrance and the stale, cold air from the cave. They obviously could not see beyond the light from their flashlights, only the imminent darkness that hung like a fog all around them. It was silent and a bad omen seemed to hang over them. Every once in a while they could whiff a bit of an airy breeze coming from the other side, only it was too deep and dark to glimpse the exit. Reikka never looked back, for she felt the hairs on her arms stand up the moment they entered, and was facing her fears of the darkness and what may be hiding in it.
There wasn’t a single fiber in her body that thought about protesting. She clearly knew this was something they needed to do. So she thought it useless to wimp out now of all times. She would have to answer to her team if she broke down now, and that simply would not do. With furrowed brows she advanced, and did her best to hide her slight Adrenalin rush. Her semblance would end soon, and she hoped she didn’t need it by then. She would perhaps ask for a break at some point, waiting for the sugar crash to end. It would be bad to break down physically, but it was the price for using her semblance to land safely on the ground. She thought she would take things as they come. She had thought about what Auburn said to Prince. Then remembered her slight mental relapse. That has not happened for a while. But when it did she did not expect it. It was a shame that part of her still feared Grimm, even though she had trained for something exactly like this. She hoped that whatever changes this mission would bring, it would not crush their spirit to the bone, but instead strengthened their ability as a team. But whatever the results may be from the mission, she just hoped that they would all get through this in one piece.
TEAM: NTSS WEAPON/PROFILE: Stabby, Jabby, and Tabby~! Tabby is at this place!!!!: About to enter cavern! Tabby is with this person!!!!: Sternguard people! Tabby is doing this!!!!: Talking to Yuki and Widget~! Going into cave! Meeting new person in team! OOC: ////////////////////////////
The fun ascending into the cave would be so unforgettable!! Since taking the lead though had ended in a fail due to the heavy weight of a suit, and the lady with the wooshy retty tails had descended... The offer of a suit ride was an awesome way to replace the others ideas before. Widget was a nice lady!! She deserved many lovely nicknames for her kindness!!! The trouble there was she would constantly forget Widget was already a nickname. With a full agreement she hopped aboard the Widget train, descending into the cavern with sheer delight. "Righto Yuki Yuki!! No man left behind!!! That is mean!!!!" While hanging upon she had been trying to memorize the looks of their new member. To forget would be so rude!! The lower and further they had descended, there was a noticeable change on the signal of her scroll. With a small gasp, she had practically waved her phone to her teammates. "Oh no!! Phones going mean!! Is the cave eating our scrollymagigies!?" How could she remember at all now!?!? Waitaminute.... Deciding to keep hold now, remembering what was going on, the woman broke into giggles, clearly entertained by the ride down. Once Widget had made the final landing, she had finally fallen off the faunus by the impact, rolling along the dirt and debris rising near. After a small coughing fit she would gather her hat, practically smiling from ear to ear in full brightness. She would pick up her scroll that had fallen near her just out of a small water pool, before finally speaking. "Kyah!! Aahhahah!!!! Can we go again!? Can we can we can we~!?!?!?!?!? No one was giving her second riding chances!!! She wanted to go agaiiiin!!!!!! The scene of the cavern around them though had distracted her, her eyes marvelling at the patches of water very close. "EEE... So many water patches!! Do you think we may have to go swimming?? Oh noes we cannot have that. No one in suits for that!! Widgeywidge may get hurt!! Nooooo!!! Cannot let the water turn her into a cooked person! That is for fish to cook!"
A little off topic, but she was concerned a little in her own Tabitha way what was about to happen. This did not last to long as team PAWS were nearby with Auburn, one of the Sternguard members still out for the count. "Hi!!! Is fainty boy alight?" Talking to the group in a whole, it seemed they had him taken care of. With a sigh in relief she more paid attention now to scouring for their own fourth member. He had to be here somewhere!! The searching definitely had been for naught, seeing the male with a covered face, white hair, and red eyes observing from a respectable distance with his dog. Sadly for Chase Tabby was a major space invader, and a space invader she would be. "Yuki Yuki! Widgey!! Tabby found mystery boy! Hiii man and poochie!!" With a giggle she was quickly closing distance, wanting to hug Chase hello like she did to all her comrades and friends. Pouncing, she aimed straight for him. If she hit he would be enveloped in a giant hug. If she missed she would land in a pool of water near him head first. "Hugs!!!"

Turns away uncomfortably at the sudden loud female that dropped after him, her voice grating on his ears as she pretty much screams in a echoing cave. Swears run thought his head as he does nothing but wish for her to stop talking, happy when she goes off to mess with another member of the team. nervous tick of Dee starts to show as he check on his supply all over again, his fingers running over his inventory in quick subsection before doing it over and over again until he was satisfied. The sun beaming down on Dees back making him unconformable in his skin, his scars felt like they were slowly burning. Only walking out of the light and down into the cool darkness was Dee able to breath again properly. Dee's golden glisten brightly in the darkness as the room around him comes into focus, every detail flooded Dee at once as his body cooled. Reaching out to the wall to his right gently feeling the damp texture, moisture running down as his eyes lid. inquisitively looking over every inch of the cave, to the small stalactites hanging from the ceiling drooling its rhythmic water drops into the puddles below to the small insects roaming the floor. A number of stalagmites lined the floor from where he could see. With his back to everyone Dees mouth opens slightly slitting a long snake like tongue exit to taste the air around him, once and then again his natural instinct was together as much information that was available to him at the moment before making a move. Without missing a beat the snake holding Dee's hair up lifted its head and looked around before uncoiling itself and running down to his arm, a short his was exchanged between the two as Dee knelt down and let his snake friend lead the charge a head to scout out the area. Watching as his snake friend slithers away to what most likely would end in its death knowing the scent of blood in the air would alert him to the danger that may lie ahead. Dee steeled himself and turned his watchful eye over his shoulder to his team.
Starting with the girl that made the most impression on him; Red Hare who he decided he could call Auburn instead was the tallest of the females that carried a even larger blade, which could become a problem if the cavern closed in a bit. If that were to happen he would just have to give her one of his swords and hope he knew how to use it... without cutting herself. Next up was Wisp or Reikka who left much to be desired, just how much time did she have to boost herself, how long it would last, and if there were any drawbacks from it. Dee wanted to know more but shook his head and moved on thinking it would be best if she stood behind himself and Red Hare and in front of Nox. Lastly there was Nox the stand in, giving here ability See thought it would be best for her to stay in the back of the vanguard and let Wisp act as her protector. But in the end of the day this was all playing out in Dee's head and he left the choice up to his team leader to make the choice of what to do next. grabbing a band out of his pocket he starts to put his hair back up. Thinking to himself if he should start addressing people by their names only to quickly dismiss it as soon as the idea rises up
Widget sighed slightly as Tabby went ballistic with excitement. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her scroll. Due to her tinkering, she still had some signal and she quickly looked over the various messages. Widget looked up to see the boy from earlier. Several others also seemed to be examining things, meaning there was a ton of flashlights. Looked like she wouldn't get to remove her goggles after all. Just as Tabby started freaking out about her scroll, Widget held up hers, pointing to the signal indicator. "You probably lost signal. They sent out a group message saying it would probably happen. And our scrolls were updated to detect toxins in the air."Tabby then started going off about swimming. From the sound of it, Tabby was afraid Widget would be electrocuted in her suit...or...so she thought. "Actually, all the electrical components are sealed. It won't short out...but...it does not float...and I can't swim... Of course, Tabby's attention zipped around and, unfortunately, she saw their fourth member before they could approach politely as a group, instead, opting to bullrush him for a hug with no introduction. Widget sighed and began walking over, finding just enough space to squeeze past the group in the middle of the entry, her suit anything but quiet."Tabby. Manners. We've been over this."

__They rate me at ( 44 ) Level 0. ______My aura is.. active, and my semblance is.. down. ______I fight with teamDECO. ________My status is.. calm ___I am at.. Alpha Cave_______Currently I'm in the company of.. Mission Party
___ Having finished her conversation with Sakura Nox watched as things went from bad to worse with the leader of PAWS. Auburn was being anything but gentle with the poor guy. Luckily others picked up his the slack he created that was made worse by her lugging him off like a sack of potatoes. Nox frowned at the edge of the cliff for a few seconds after Auburn took Prince down after the healer boy with the dog. It seemed that Reikka was moving on as well. Accompanied of course by those that collected Princes gear and chased after him to help him out. Nox started to move after the 'show' was over. Headed the the gear station to collect her pack from the teachers there. Then on to the repelling station. Once her harness was all set and the ropes hooked up she climbed over the edge. Letting out line slowly as she got herself into position. Then once set she took her first jump and let herself down.
___ Nox only made it about halfway down the cliff face before she stopped. She couldn't help it really. This was just beautiful. At least to her unique outlook it was. She literally felt a little bit of a pang of pity that none of the others could see this cliff as she does. For her this cliff shimmered in light that streamed down upon it from the surface like the entire wall they were descending was made of crystal the color of amethyst. The rich purple didn't just cling to the stone. It floated and swirled through the air as it fell to the ground below just like clouds of dust caught in rays of sunlight. For it was dust. Purple dust, the catalyst tied to the element of gravity when working dust. She looked around at it all. Nox had a secret place she liked to mediate in, and collect dust with her semblance from time to time. I nice little clearing in the forest trees near the academy grounds. The clearing was nestled up against a rock face like this, though much smaller in height, and mostly dominated by a small waterfall that came from the outlet of an underground stream. The pool that water made was what makes the clearing in the trees. He mind wanders for a moment to think of sun bathing in the light that can be found there. She focuses back on the task at hand rather quickly and looks around at all the natural dust surrounding her. It's a shame she couldn't collect some. Finding places that were this rich in purple dust was hard, it was the rarest of the naturally occurring dust if she didn't count yellow as rare just because it was only found during thunderstorms.
___ Nox looked down and started to make large leaps. Descending down the rock face with a handful of those big jumps to make up for the time she lost while admiring the view only she could appreciate. It really was a shame she couldn't show it to others. Once on the ground she got out of the harness and made her way over to the others in team ROKA. Once everyone was awake again and gathered the party moved forward. Reikka lead team ROKA at the very forefront of the vanguard. Nox naturally found herself in a pocket slot position near the back of ROKA and close by to SLAR. A place that was perfect for an area control and support fighter like herself.
___ Nox looked ahead as they reached a fork in the road. She stopped walking for a moment. Auburn and Dee had taken places near the front and Reikka was in between the two. Nox got the impression that Dee was trying to get her into a more protected spot in the rear of the teams group. The information on their scrolls said their objective was through the larger of the two paths. The air was much more stale here than near the entrance but it seemed to her that the air flow was still better down the larger path, or path Alpha. "Well the first part is over with. The larger path is where our group as a whole is supposed to head." Nox glanced down the side path. If this was a game that way would lead to loot and goodies while the straight on path they were supposed to follow likely lead to the objective and maybe some boss. Hopefully this wasn't like a game and had a boss down the big path. Before they started moving again Nox started to use her thermal sight again. Riekka, Dee, and Auburn all took on a orange-red glow in her fore vision as she looked around in the darkness ahead of them for any sign of heat sources not coming from the others in the vanguard.

The wolf faunus sighed at how cute Tabby was. "Oh, geez. Quite the character we have here." Yuki walked by the table and grabbed her provisions. Positive her team grabbed theirs she walked away from the table. She stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder back to the table. She let out a soft breath and as she returned tot he table to grab another. "Tabby." is all she said before walking towards the rappels. She connected and lowered herself to the entrance of the cave. As she descended, her phone notified her that she is losing signal, but not before she received a few messages stating that losing signal is completely expected, scrolls can detect toxicity in the air and there has been increased Grimm activity. "Well, at least we've gotten some type of warning so nothing will be a complete surprise...until it's a complete surprise." he stated to herself.
As she released herself from the device, she looked at the cave in a bit of awe. "Wow. This is...more than I expected." she said looking at the diameter of the cave entrance alone. She could only imagine just how far the cave went on itself. Yuki giggled at energy incarnate known as Tabby as she wanted to 'go again' obviously referring to how she and Widget got down. "I won't lie. It does seem like fun." she admitted quietly to herself. As a Faunus her eyes immediately started there natural function. Night vision. Such a useful trait the faunus were blessed to have. If only humans could have some type of advantage like this, but if it were Adam she would be his eyes for him. She felt her heart pick up the pace and took a few breaths to calm down. "I want to see you soon Adam. Oh, Oum, I love you so much!" she thought clutching her chest. "I wonder if you'll be proud that I'm a team leader?" she questioned. She approached her team as she responded to Tabby. "We'll swim if we have to, Tabby. We have a mission to complete, right?" she asked her. Tabby, being who she was, didn't stay on the topic too long as she checked on another team.
Yuki saw that the man in question seemed to be ok. Maybe. She looked around to see if anything is out of what the ordinary would be. This is a mission after all and it's possible that the school and the associated government aren't the only ones here. So she kept her senses sharp. Her attention was grabbed by Tabby shouting she found the fourth member of their squad. She made a dash for the man and Yuki trailed after her quickly. She quickly grabbed her by her collar and held her up by one arm. "Tabby. Respect people's space. How do you know he wants a hug, huh?" she asked. Yuki looked to Auburn as she spoke about manners and nodded to her in agreement. She looked to Chase and couldn't remember if they were properly introduced. Probably because her mind was on other things. Like her future husband. "Hello, I'm Yuki. Team Leader of NTSS. I'm not sure we've been introduced so forgive me." she smiled. Post Count: 14

Ren managed to land onto his feet as he looked around at the base of the cave, seeing it descend as his eyes had a little green glow to them. He could see the shapes that most humans couldn't see as he looked to the rest of his team. He smiled at them, giving a thumbs up to them as he spoke through the small mask as his steel feet touched the puddle ground beneath him. He began to walk forward, his ears flickering back and forth as he was actively looking for threats, the jagged rocks he could see before he the wind began to flow through, brushing the fur of his ears as he shook his head and looked back to Sakura and Yui as he soon said. "The water is dropping in a weird pattern..... and it sounds like the others have dropped in along with us." He told them as he flicked his ears back before he soon said. "We should stay on guard." He told them as he seemed to have gotten a bit focused, thanks to the tingling feeling of alcoholism in his stomach. Boy did that feel good as he pounded the rest of his can till he sets the can against the wall. It was a small marker just incase something happened as he waited for the others.
Once Rockfall had landed, hehe, he could see the others landing and preparing themselves as he made sure to leave space for them to be comfortable. Team Solar and Rockfall had to get along and work together to function as a Vanguard, so he swallowed hard and took point for the moment. "Shall we?" He asked rhetorically before he could hear the shouting of one member from the Sternguard... a being named Tabby as he remembered from overhearing conversations with his bunny ears. He shook his head and chuckled before his steel boots silently clicked and splashed through the puddle and the hard rock. Company: So many people! Chase was glad he had his facial covering in this chasm. The air was unpleasant and full of dust, as if the air had been locked away here for a long time. Which, given its depth, made him wonder if that was why the air flow was to a minimum or if perhaps there was some other reason for it. Regardless, the air made Chase more uneasy than he already was with it. Air like this he associated with a tomb, and buried as it was here with its size... He wondered what would warrant such a thing. The thought was both terrifying and thrilling to the boy. One the one hand, he wondered what ancient horror could lay in wait. On the other, he wondered if he would have a chance to kill it. The more likely outcome, at least from his logical mind's assessment, is that little would be found save Grimm. That was one of the reasons they were sent here; aside from a possible way to Atlas, which Chase knew not how they could tell such things if they were the exploration team. He wondered how far the military may have ventured on its own before allowing the academy to step in. 'Too many questions and too little answers.' He thought to himself. The only way to even answer all those questions was to move forward, to which he would await his new team for.
His mind briefly cataloged his current equipment, more specifically what had been given to him in his pack. It had a paracord, gas mask, space blanket, rope, and some rations in case the venture took some time. No one knew how far these caverns truly stretched after all. That also meant he was alerted to messages on his scroll. He briefly read it over as of the three points only one was new information. Toxic fumes. 'So they have been down here and explored on their own.' Chase thought to himself. While it may be standard procedures to some, Chase was unaware of such things. So his mind, paranoid as it was, went to the next logical reason for why they would do such things. And that was because they encountered it. Which again begged the question of how far they got, and why let the academy be involved. But those were questions for after this was all said and done. Looking at the other two points was something he had been expecting. If they had signal in a cavern like this in the first place it would have been a miracle, and they were already warned about Grimm. Them poking around an ancient tomb, and so many people at that beyond the walls, was an obvious Grimm magnet. But they at least had the military up above; any Grimm that came from behind would have been in this cavern.
These were all things the cloaked Chase would have done before the raucous entry of his team, though he had no clue it was them in the first place. However, that ignorance was soon to be lifted. His ears pricked at the mention of poochie by one of the more vocal people that had descended, and his eyes calmly turned to the source in curiosity. He was mostly certain he was the only one with a dog, but he may have missed it in his haste to get down here. However... his calm soon turned to a fearful shock as he saw the source. While there were many particular and unique features to the girl, Chase only had time to process a few due to her charging him with a giggle. Evoking flash backs to a certain butterfly on the extra credit day. His mind would note she was not particularly tall, had orange hair and yellow eyes. She seemed particularly catlike, and at the moment Chase felt very much like a mouse about to be toyed with. 'Is she trying to kill me or hug me...!?' Chase wondered, as every female he met seemed intent to erase all semblance of personal space for the poor boy. His hound growled at the girl, but Chase gave him a quick command with his hand to hold. He needed to know the girls intention first before he would attack. Thankfully, she had telegraphed her intention very early as Chase turned a bit to face her charge and prepared. He saw the mech girl begin to near them, but could not hear her words over the sound of the yellow-eyed girl running to him. He saw another girl, who he could take into little detail save that she had a blue and yellow eye, attempt to stop the one charging him. It almost seemed like she was able to as she grabbed some part of the girl for a moment... She would begin to introduce herself, hearing her name was Yuki and that she was leader of NTSS, but Chase quickly lost focus on it as the girl apparently named Tabby slipped free and resumed her charge. Her last words as she pounced towards him was hugs, revealing her intention and alerting Chase that she wouldn't kill him... but still something Chase wanted to avoid. Chase quite literally collapsed his legs beneath him so the girl barely missed him as she flew over him and... he heard a loud splash as she apparently landed in a puddle.
Standing up quickly, Chase would spin to face his would be hugger... as strange as it was to identify her as that. Though... what was once a terrifying sight to him, quickly became much less so. The girl was flailing around in the water after her miss and did not sound the least aggressive. 'Why does everyone want to hug on the first meeting...' Chase thought with an internal sigh. He liked his personal space, and the girl seemed to not have had bad intent for him... But surprise hugs were a no. He briefly looked back to Yuki who claimed to be leader in confusion before looking back at Tabby. Looking her over he did feel slightly bad she got all wet trying to hug him. While he didn't want to be hugged, he also didn't wish anything bad would happen to her. Pausing for a brief moment, he would sigh and relax his tense body. His hound was staring at the girl, still besides Chase, but was also trying to take in the scent of this strange girl. Chase would then walk to be in front of her, hound padding behind him, and outstretched his hand to her. He didn't want her remaining in the pool of water in this cavern, even if she shouldn't have tried pouncing him in the first place. They both would have fallen back at that point. Even with his almost crippling anxiety of others, along with the girls bad first impression, he would rather not see her like that when her intention was good... if misguided. 'Well, this is proving interesting in a way I had not expected.' Chase thought to himself. He would say nothing to her for the moment though, not really desiring to talk or feeling the need to currently. Even forgetting for the moment he probably should have attempted to introduce himself to the leader, unaware the mech was on his team due to Tabby's excitement.

Hmmm? What is she going on about? How long was I out? He questions as he would look over who all wass there. The pain to his forehead was annoying, but it wasn't something that he couldn't handle. Hearing that he had disarmed himself, he would look over trying to find his weapons. Finding the weapons on the ground, Usien quickly rearmed himself and let out a sigh of relief. Hearing his name, he would look over to Auburn as he started to get up. She was monologuing which was something he was use to from home. He hated the long speeches. People always came with the same thing and he was trying his best, but it wasn't like he had much time to work on the leadership thing. THis was PAWS first mission. He wasn't worried too much about her words, as he never allowed for them get to him if he could help it but there was a certain part of her speech that changed his whole attitude.
Sitting there, Auburn may have offered to lift him up and help him to his feet, but she made a mistake that probably was going to make this mission a lot harder. Words were fine, but there are certain things you either shouldn't say or know how to phrase without giving off a certain atmosphere or expression around you. He ended up getting defensive and would scurry to his feet and take a step or two back to draw his gun at Auburn. A serious look on his face as a totally different side of Usien was being shown. His finger was on the trigger with pressure already starting to be applied. 2 shots were fired directly at Aurburn's chest. He was a frightened spider and when a spider is frightened, they do the only thing they know to do. Bite!. The two bangs in the cave most likely could easily be heard by the other groups who were starting to go in as the sound undoubtly would echo from its natural walls.
"You may have some points but one thing I not going to allow you to do is take me out. Whether I am dead weight or not, I don't give a hog's a** about your past. You may been the one that had to kill them in the past but I will put one between the eye before I stand here and allow for any type of possibility for you take me out like. " He stated as he would not move from his position. There were many things that got Usien out of his shyness. A threat to his life usually worked besides coffee. Some may not see it threatening but he saw in between the lies. She was calling him useless and she was bragging about how she had to be the one to kill the dead weight. Taking those two statements and since it was insinuated he was dead weight AND that his fate would be similar to those she spoke of. If that wasn't what she meant, then she probably needed to get better at using his words. Either way, he would not dare go out like that no matter how shy he was. When it comes to a threat that he could recognize strongly like this, his fight of flight mode threw it all out the window.

Auburn watched as, instead of taking her hand, he scrambled back. She could see the fear there and rage. Even before he drew his guns, she was ducking to the side. She knew how to read that particular reaction well. No sooner had she moved, he fired twice. He then decided he was going to rebuff her instead of pulling the trigger more and she burst out laughing."You do have a pair then. Not much sense though."As she spoke, she kept moving a bit, her eyes locked on him and stayed ready to move should he prove to be that foolish.
If you listened to what was said rather than how it was said kid, you'd be doing better. I ain't subtle. I say exactly what I mean. And, what I said was your inability to lead could cause harm to those who follow you. And yes, I have killed people, but, not once did I threaten you. I hated it. But, it was either someone died, or everyone was beaten until nearly dead just to do it all over again. If I enjoyed it, do you honestly think I'd place myself where an entire military force could stop me in minutes? I'm not stupid. Now, You can put your toys away. Don't draw them unless you will go all out. I won't give you the option next time you decide to aim them at me. Since you were looking for a threat and all."She kept her eyes on him, her hand on her sword and ready should he decide to not listen to reason.
Weapon(s): Judgement is a massive sword that is 77" long, 14" wide and weighs 54 lbs, but, has no unique properties other than that. Auburn is able to wield this beast of a blade, even one-handed, because of her Semblance.
However, her boots and gauntlets are equipped with mini cannon-like guns that fire off dust rounds. (See Mission for image of gauntlets and boots)

She froze though as Auburn seemed to admit to murdering people. She looked her over warily. Others were joining them, a loud crash announcing the mech girl and Tabby, who launched herself at some guy. Suddenly, she jolted as gunshots rang out and took to the air, leveling her rifle at the source. It turned out to be Prince. She listened as he rebuffed Auburn and cocked her brow. How had he gotten a threat out of that? She'd been forced into it.
Auburn was quick to react too thankfully, and had managed to not be hit. How in the hell were they going to work like this? A few who tried to distance themselves, a few she suspected might be insane, a total spaz, a beast of a woman with a chip on her shoulder who seemed to fully expect the world to shun her, and a boy who seemed to hear threats where there were none? She lowered her rifle and opened her wings before flapping them hard and a strong wind picked up, pushing towards the group. It wouldn't send anyone flying, but, it'd definitely be noticed and make moving more difficult.”Stop it! Ain't no threat here but people flyin off their hinges an the Grimm. Ain't they supposed ta be drawn to negativity? Iffi'n that's the case, y'all just went an' told 'em we was here. We ain't gonna be able ta fight them if we fightin' each other. And, no offense Ms, But, Prince right? Ya know, she were complainin bout you bein dead weight back at the top too. If she were gonna get rid of ya fer it, her best chance already come an' gone. She didn't hook ya up or nothin when she came down. She were just carryin ya free handed. All she had ta do were drop ya. Ain't none of us save that boy an' dog down here when she did it neither, so, she coulda tried an' lied bout it too if she'd had dropped ya. Instead, she offered ya her hand an' ya shot at her. Yeah, she ain't no lady, but, you ain't rightly bein a gentleman yerself."As she chastised them, she flew down so that she was between them. They really did not need to be fighting each other. ☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█Team:SLAR█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁█☀█☁

Ooookay... Maybe the dashing hug attack was a no no afterall~! Falling into the water with a good splash, Tabitha was at first dumbstruck it had happened. That was before the flailing in the pool had distracted her. Why not? It was fresh, cooling cave water! She once heard it was supposed to be one of the best ways to receive fresh, untouched water. Of course the water she was in was no longer very good with her splashing about in it. The plus side at least, was the pool water wiping all the dirt and dust from her free falling moment earlier on. There was a complete silver lining to this after all! Messing in this puddle though had made her miss on a few things. One being Dee's action of scouting ahead with his tactic. Another being Prince awakening to Auburn and him disputing. That was only the beginning of it all. Deafened from hearing her teammates, the sounds of gunfire had to commence so suddenly. WOWZA! Things were getting intense sooooo awesomely quick! "Yukiiii!!!!!! Can Tabby join in with them!? Tabby wants some action to!!! That would be super duper luperous!!!" She didn't have no bullets but there was no reason she couldn't hit anybody with the blunt end!! Right!? Right~?!!?!?!!
Before she could truly commence into anything else, she had to get out of that first. If the puddles were like this one, no one had to fear drowning! Tabitha loved to swim, so that would have been a complete shame. Widget was safe! Yuki was safe! Even Chase's hound pup was safe as a shield!! Speaking of Chase.... Turning her attention away from the gunfire and the females on her team, she was surprised to see a had by the silent man brought her direction. How kind! Such a gesture brought a giant beaming smile, much bigger then her usual amount. "Ooooh!! Thank you thank you!! So kind mister be!!" Taking his hand, she would assist on the help of herself out of the waters. Sure, she was dripping from head to toe, but she didn't mind one bit. Instead of fretting she shook herself like an animal would to try off, splashing stuff with a lot of tiny drops. Afterwards she wrung out her braids, laughing at the amount sprawling along the cavern floor. "Wow!!! Hair like a super towel!!! Thank you for helping Tabby out!! Waitaminute... You new teammate! Yes yes... Friends be right! Must use manners!! Since you helped Tabby out, Tabby will behave!! Hello new friend!! You and poochie will have fun!! Be sure of it!! So awesome grawsome there are four now!! Er... Five!! Yes five! Does the puppy do tricks!? Can we feed him treats!? What kind! Want to spoil puppo with many things!! That's okay right??? Right!?!? Yukiki!!! Widgey!!!"
About to hop towards them, her mind backtracked towards the gun fight once more. How much energy they were causing at that. Tabitha would begin a boxers stance, playfully punching the air, completely mesmerized by this fighting. Someone was going to get hurt though!!! To her, that was sort of fine, depending on injury. A battle scar it would be! "Weapon weapon!! Swing!! Throw!!! Pew pew!!! Wait though!! Waaaiiiit coffee boyo!! Horsey long tail! We are on a mission!!! Teammates shouldn't fight like this!! It's a big no no!!! Be like Mr. Poochie here~!!" She pointed to Chase's dog. "Behaved!! Let's go Mr. Poochie and team!! Yuuuki!? Can we go on ahead!? Tabby wants to go stab things!! Pretty please!? Pretty pleeeease!?" Tabitha had no idea she was going all over the place. The most to keep her behaved by then, was staring at Chase's hat. She wanted to wear one too!! Maybe they could trade while in the cave! People could pretend she was him!!! That would involve a lot of silence though, something he clearly was. Since that couldn't work, Tabby just began slow skipping ahead of them all further into the cave. She wanted to scout with the creature Dee had released into the cavern!! The rest of the people, like the snake lady, and the one lady with white hair knew what they were doing. The bun bun bunny boy though... She wanted to bearhug him with lovings and pert his ears, as well as the girl with the cotton candy hair!!! Oooooh..... That gave her that fangirl look in her eyes!!!

XXXSnap once, snap twice. Yui's gloved fingers to continued the sharp sound. Occasionally her silver rings would clang together, giving the flick of her fingers a metallic ting to it. Each click of her fingers had a rhythm to it as if trying to coax the unconscious boy towards her presence. In the midst of her attempting to wake him up, it was the other avian faunus who ducked down next to her. Her rhythm ceased for just a moment, leaning her ear towards the girl's whispered tones. Pale blue hues would widen softly, however, her face remained straight and pale. "I.. I see. Thank you for your honesty, as I was none the wiser. He was still quite jostled, and I want to ensure he comes too in good condition... Perhaps we'll cross the topic of stern watching once he's conscious." Her words were soft, as if whispering back. At the end, however, a sigh would escape her lips. What was she supposed to do with such perverted individuals surrounding her? The news that both the Prince and Franscheska were gawking at them certainly came as a surprise to her, as she was none the wiser. Yui was never raised in the social implications of perversion or what to do in such a situation, or how exactly she was supposed to feel in such a circumstance. Was she supposed to feel uneasy or violated? Where even was the importance of staring at such physical attributes? Yui knew that such behavior was frowned upon, and that alone was enough to raise her wariness of these two. That being said, she wouldn't let that interfere with her tending to the Prince's condition. While he may have passed out from overstimulation, he was still handled very poorly and received minor injuries as a result. That simply would not stand in her eyes.
It was perhaps Francheska's arrival that left Yui more uncertain how to feel than the news of stern watching. The pinkette had leaned down beside her as well, drawing her blue hues to meet that of crimson who seemed to fumble on her name. Had she not been present when Yui introduced herself? That was entirely her bad, especially as she already knew her name. Francheska proceeded to call her a series of different nicknames, such as Lady Aqua and Freya. It was the last name however that took her by surprise, nearly breaking her perfect pale complexion with a crimson hue. Yui managed to keep her bearings, however, as her complexion had yet to betray her. Pale orbs had widened in surprise, though, showing that her names had gotten to her. While she was oblivious to many acts of perversion, she understood the applications of marriage very clearly as the heir of a noble family. "You speak of courtship so soon? An act of flattery, for certain." It was odd to respond to, as the girl in the past would have likely discarded such words with silence. "My name is Yui, though you may call me whatever you like." One thing that the avian had gotten used to since her arrival at Beacon is that no one seemed keen on calling her by her name. Dove, Pheonix, Blue Bird. It seemed that everyone had a different name for her, disregarding her Lioncourt heritage like dust in the wind. Which... Was that truly a bad thing? Her head would bob softly as she nodded, though the real question was where was she suppose to get coffee in the depths of a cave? Perhaps if she flew back up one of the military personals would have something to aid. It was a thought, but an unneeded one, as the sleeping prince began to stir from his slumber. Spider limbs would curl around his torso, perhaps one of the most unique faunus traits she had seen in her time. Once the boy was sitting up and spoke, Yui couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. He was okay, for the most part. "One could say that, Prince. You were jostled during your slumber. ... How are you feeling? How is your head? I'm certain this kit has a cooling pack, if necessary." Yui would voice her concern, then tug one of the spare survival packs she had brought to place next to them.
The Heir could often disassociate herself with unpleasant thoughts of others, finding that it was better to keep a clear slate and think better of those around her. That being said, Auburn was making that quite difficult. The horse Faunus was relentless as she continued to insult and degrade Prince for all those faults in the moment as if it was some means to justify her actions prior. "Generally when striking someone that's unconscious it will only make matters worse. Just as moving them unnecessarily can. It isn't as simple as trying to shake them awake..." Even if someone didn't have the medical knowledge to discern why someone lost consciousness, they should at least have the audacity to not make them their personal punching bag. Before she could further begin to reprimand or oppose Auburn's continued verbal assault on Prince, the situation took a dive soon after Auburn stretched her hand out to pull Prince to his feet.
That's when a gun was drawn. It wasn't by who they'd expect either. Instead of the aggressive Auburn, it was by the spider Faunus who rejected the hand to pull him up. One might think it was only Yui that saw it coming with the motions. "Don't--" She had tried to interject, ready to release a volley of embers. He had scrambled to his feet only to draw his gun and fire two shots in rapid succession. Gunshots that drowned out Yui's own voice. Yui was just a second too slow on her own draw, ready to manifest a shield of embers to take the hit so that Prince wouldn't do something he'd regret at the start of his career. Fortunately for all of them, however, Auburn had been quicker than her mass would indicate and dodged the bullets as they were fired. Perhaps if the spider Faunus hadn't been quite as frazzled he would have hit his intended targets. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Then came the banter back and forth, both attempting to defend their actions while degrading that of the other. Prince had shown some of his true colors in that he wasn't about to be pushed around any further, and that any threats to his life would be met with actions instead of words. Auburn, however, came to her own defense of declaring that she hadn't threatened anyone yet. She admitted she's killed, she murdered but hadn't intended to threaten anyone. Though the little anecdotes she continued to spout about her life hadn't helped any causes. In fact, Yui was certain it was those shared moments that made Auburn's words seem more dangerous than they actually were. It didn't end there, however, as Skylar with her rifle now lowered also chose to interject. First acting as the voice of reason against the threat of grimm that loomed just further in the cavern. While Skylar's words were meant to diffuse, it didn't seem that she quite understood the Prince's side in it either. There were no threats? That itself was a bold statement. Perhaps it was the way she spoke, but Yui could see the connecting dots to perceive a threat, though it didn't begin to justify his own actions. It then seemed that both Skylar and Yui had the same idea in mind, as both avian faunus had moved between Auburn and Prince. Yui's wings were spread, creating a feathery wall between the two. "Both parties are guilty in this clash. Auburn, perhaps though it was unintended, I have to defend Prince in the factor of a present threat. After continuously claiming he's nothing more than useless or dead weight, then yourself as an individual who's taken care of such dead weight in the past and was unafraid to do so, that can come off as very threatening and imposing." With eyebrows furrowed, Yui's naturally calm expression had become stern with a piercing pale blue gaze towards the horse faunus. Then, turning her head towards Prince, she'd continue. That, however, is no excuse to open fire on your teammates. Skylar is right, we may as well have announced our arrival with a red carpet to the Grimm. We have a mission at hand, and we cannot afford to fall into needless squabbles. Doing so will only exhaust ourselves; we might as well be doing the Grimm's work for them." Even those of her team had not heard Yui speak with such a loud and affirming tone, ensuring that her words were heard and received.
Letting her words simmer for a moment, the faunus would drop her stretched wings. Others had grown near, voicing their own opinions and concerns for the various parties involved in this meaningless squabble. They were getting no where at this rate. Not only that, but they were making fools of themselves beneath the military's feet. Is this all that Beacon was capable of? Stylish entrances before breaking apart in a fued. No one was taking a lead in the matter, either. There was no order, no progress to their goal. Even if Yui wasn't the leader of her team, she wasn't about to let this poor display reach her mother's eyes. "The military is watching us, leaving this task in our hands. I advise we get our act together and get into position before we have this mission revoked from us. Commander Adoa stated that ROKA and SLAR were Vanguard, PAWS and NTSS were Sternguard. We should position ourselves accordingly." Once more her blue gaze would darn between Auburn and Prince. The only fortunate aspect of their assigned positions was the fact that it meant these two would be separated. Turning away, she'd move to walk past Prince and Francheska where she would then add. "I'd also like to ask that you please refrain from staring at my stern for the duration of the mission. I'd rather not have to break formation just to save someone who tripped while gawking at me." It was a more jaded stab towards Prince, showing a mild irritation. Not at the act itself, though unsettling, but instead towards the mess, it had already caused. Her gaze would then pass to Francheska as she walked by, her fingers raising gently to graze her shoulder and grab her attention. "If those terms can be managed, then perhaps we can talk of courtship after the mission." If one watched closely then they would see the corner of Yui's lips curl into the faintest smile. She did it, she made a joke. Or did she flirt? Well, such a concept wasn't in her realm of possibility, but it was still a response that not many could expect from the woman.
That was it. She was done with the interaction between the Prince and Auburn. IF the two had killed each other after she disengaged herself, well, she would feel guilty but couldn't afford to keep lingering. Trying to reason between them was trying to teach a bull to not charge the red cape, it seemed doomed to fail. If Skylar chose to follow her towards their team, that was her own choice. Whatever she decided to do, Yui was beelining towards Ren and Sakura. "Ren, we'll be relying on your ears to detect what we can't see. We need to ensure we keep a light source with Sakura, as she's not like a faunus like the rest of us." Perhaps the most crippling aspect of having a human in this cave was the lack of sight advantage. But, that wasn't Sakura's fault, and the team would adapt to aid that cause. While Yui could hear the droplets of water pitter-pattering into puddles, she couldn't nearly hear to the same degree that Ren could. Her pale orbs would begin to look over the darkness, adjusting to having the room come into full view. The chasm continued to expand, reaching a size of epic proportions. As if on cue, a gust of wind would howl through the chasm and begin to rustle Yui's own feathers. Where there was wind, there was an exit. This cave had more than one entrance, and she was certain that was her mission. Looking back over her shoulder at the disarray of the teams, an idea chimed on her at the sight of a familiar face. Or rather, lack of face. It was Chase from the lunch she had been dragged in by a boy named Adam. He was there with his hound, an animal born for scouting. He had been locked in an interaction, but he was also the first to enter the cave. He was adamant about getting the job done, just as she was, so perhaps he would be willing to aid her. "This cavern is gargantuan, I think our first course of action should be scouting given the number of students present. I'm going to take a peak ahead while the other teams are getting situated. I'd like to refrain from breaking formation too much and advise moving with the rest of the group, but I won't stop you from following." Ideally, Yui had hoped the remainder of her team would stay with the rest of the group so that they could all move as a unit. This reduced the number of students going off on their own and made scouting easier. There was safety in numbers for a larger group, but in terms of scouting, it would be easier to leave that task in fewer but capable hands. Which, she had another individual in mind. While she could take to the sky with her night vision, another could take to the cave floors with a sense of smell better than any other sense they had. It was Chase, the odd one out.
Whether or not their were objections to her plan, the girl would step away from her group. If others followed her, so be it. Meanwhile, she would focus her gaze on Chase and the individual he was helping after she had stumbled into one of the many cave based ponds. Once Chase had managed to helped the girl to her feet, Yui's soft words would slip from her lips. "Excuse me, Chase, I do apologize for the interruption, but.. I've got an idea for our next course of action if you're willing to hear me out." From what Yui had gathered in the past Chase was not the most sociable of students. This meant it may have been even easier to convince him to participate in her idea to scout ahead. Standing prim and proper with her wings tucked behind her back, she'd continue as her gaze passed towards the hounds. "Our group is too large to proceed further into the cavern so blindly. I recommend scouting for a select few, to maximize our effectiveness while not thoroughly breaking formation. Out of all of us, I believe you coupled with your hound are the most suited for scouting and detecting. Myself, coupled with my wings and sight, would make for an effective air scout and support if anything were to go arry. With those factors in mind. . . Would you be willing to scout ahead with me?" While Yui was certain in the effectiveness of her plan, part of her felt uneasy about putting the masked boy on the spot. That being said, she would not let her serious but doll like expression waiver while waiting for his response. If he were to accept, then the two could either plan a course of action or depart right away. Anything to get this mission back on its feet before it even started.

Widget looked back at Yuki, sighing. She had just told them she couldn't swim. If they were forced to swim, it'd be bad news for Widget. She could maybe hold on to a strong swimmer and she was small enough that they might manage, but, that meant she'd be forced to leave her exosuit behind. She'd be useless without it. But, they'd justhave to cross that bridge when they came to it. Suddenly, a fight broke out and she fully turned to see what was happening. It seemed the boy thought the horse girl had threatened him. Two others had stepped in to try and diffuse it and Tabby had found herself in a puddle. Turning back to see Chance help Tabby up and Tabby starting to divert her eternal excitability to the fight. With a sigh, Widget stepped closer to Tabby and Chase.
"I think joining in the fight would be a very bad idea Tabby. And sorry...she's excitable."She tapped her earpeice, knowing she was too far for her soft voice to carry to Yuki."Yuki? If that girl loses it, I don't think we'll want to be around. I tried looking her up when I first saw her. I couldn't find anything. No legal name, no medical or legal records, nothing. She just...doesn't exist. I find it...unnerving..."Widget had this compulsion to learn what she could about others that seemed noteworthy and, if anything, the girl Auburn seemed to have a serious chip on her shoulder and a total lack of consideration for emotions and little regard for what others thought. That alone made her stand out to Widget. And the fact she couldn't dig up anything made her skin crawl a bit.
