In high light levels the pupils tend to be open to a more round like appearance that is typical of humans. Though her pupils are in fact actually vertical slit type pupils common to reptiles. When the pupils are narrowed to slits she has very sharp vision on what she is focusing upon at the trade off of a narrower field of view. She vision includes improved night vision but she can go a step further. The scale patches on her face have pit organs giving her a sixth sense, a second form of vision she can selectively focus on and use to see infrared radiation. █Other Talents ▬ █ ▬ Aura to Spare: Nox's aura is very powerful and seems to be quite extensive. Not only managing to effectively safe guard her own person but constantly be pushed out around her to fuel her semblance and weapon. █ ▬ Will of Tempered Steel: Nox doesn't look all that imposing physically, but mentally she is nearly an immovable object. She is confident, persistent, and unyielding in the face of adversity. █LEARNT ABILITIES █Strongest Skill ▬ Weapon Expertise: Since her semblance offers no protection against physical assaults on her person Nox invested a lot of her remaining training towards handling her weapon to help alleviate that drawback of her semblance. █Weakest Skill ▬ █ ▬ Durability: Nox is a bit of a light weight. She has grit and enough will to walk it off when she takes a hit and because of that she is more than capable of enduring a few hits, but once damage starts getting through her aura she doesn't handle taking them well. Make no mistake that those that are truly familiar with her will know full well that she is still standing more through sheer will power than tankiness. █ ▬ Unarmed: Nox relies heavily on her weapon for physical defense in combat. Her training focuses on utilizing her weapon second only to her training towards the use of her aura and semblance. If she loses her weapon she has no back up and no real physical defenses left until she can get it back. █Other Skills ▬ █ ▬ Stealth: Nox is soft footed so to speak. It isn't uncommon for her to sneak up on others without even meaning to do so. So when she is actually trying she can move in near silence. She also is rather adept at hiding things and people. This applies both to picking out exceptional places to put what needs to be hidden but also applies to the art of camouflage. █ ▬ Found You: On the flip side of the hiding coin Nox is skilled at finding others. She has some training in hunting. She never really enjoyed hunting though and gave it up as a pass time. The skills of tracking though stuck with her and prove useful. Additionally, it is difficult to go unnoticed by someone that could see your body heat through a wall if they wanted to. █ ▬ Team Play: While not the best at being a leader Nox is perfectly fine as a follower. █BACKGROUND ▬ Nox's family came from Menagerie but they used to travel around a lot when she was young. Her parents were merchants. Their main jobs was in the procurement and transportation of goods from one country of Remnant to another. This took them all around. So while she was young she never really viewed anywhere to be home. Even today she still has a slight where ever I am and where those I care about are at is home to me attitude. Their days of traveling though ended several years ago. Nox and her parents are obviously faunus and most of the people that worked with her parents were likewise the same. The traveling ended after an encounter with the Tribe. A group of them looking to get rid of some faunus or perhaps collect some to sell as slaves. The airship that her parent's business used to move it's goods was shot down by this group. They went in looking for some fun and spoils. They stole what goods they could find that were useful or undamaged enough to sell. They also killed a number of those that survived the crash. They never went to the cockpit of the airship where her father was at but they did find her mother and herself. There was no where for her to run off to and her mother could only try to fend them off and shield her daughter. Nox was injured at the end of the fighting by the same blow that killed her mother.
Luckily Nox survived the injury, though the lack of adequate food or water for the next four days didn't make that easy nor did it help give her the ability to resist. Ultimately Nox never got a chance to get away from the group of Tribe Members but she never ended up begin sold or anything either. The act of shooting down an airship tends to draw a lot of attention and in this case it drew the attention of two teams of huntsman. They were easily able to tell this wasn't related to grimm and were just as easily able to track down the culprits. They rescued everyone the Tribe had abducted and got them back to the nearest city. After that Nox's father took her back to Menagerie. They lived there until she got a chance to get into a school in Vale.

█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Break Blade █ ▬ Pictures are worth many words. CLICKY █Melee Form: Short Swords ▬ Break Blade has two versions of the short swords. On locks the two together to make a double sided sword sword. This way the weapon takes on a single blade 2.5 feet in length and 4 inches thick with an edge on both the leading and trailing side. This form is also convenient for sheathing, They can be separated into twin blades with one cutting edge on the leading side and a length of wire connecting the base of each hilt to the other. █Melee Form: Double Bladed Staff ▬ When placing both of the short swords hilts together they can be twisted into a locking position making a double bladed staff. One should note that the blade can be opened in this form to reveal the barrels of the gun form. █Ranged Form: Pistol Mode ▬ Simple mechanical movements to change the hilt position and deploy the barrel and viola, gun blades. █Ammo Type ▬ Aura primarily, though dust provided by the semblance works too. A reload supply 10 shots per barrel if aura, if dust is loaded the shot count is reduced to 4. █ DRAWBACKS ▬ Ranged mode works only by means of drawing on her aura and semblance. Limited reach, the weapon works for attacking but all forms share a limit to their reach and come from more self defense origins.

█*NAME ▬ Dust Diffusion █*AURA COLOR ▬ Neon Red █*DESCRIPTION █ ▬ The ability of a Nox's semblance operates in two stages. Stage one is the ability to weaponize her aura against dust and the second stage of the ability is to absorb and collect dust particles out of the air and use them.These two halves come together to form the whole of Nox's semblance.
The weaponized aura creates what Nox would refer to as a Dust Diffusion or Dust Scattering Field. This aura field is established as an elliptical envelope about her person. When entering into this aura field dust based attacks, objects, semblances, and the like will immediately begin to dissolve away into a harmless cloud of fine particulate dust.
The semblance's ability to absorb dust for Nox to use in combat is versatile. The basic application is to draw upon the dust incorporated in her enemies attack and scattered by her aura; condensing it back into powdered or crystallized dust that Nox can use herself to power her own attacks and counters. At an even more basic level this ability is not solely limited to an enemy's attack. All places have naturally occurring dust particles in the air which can be collected as well. Nox can collect dust with this ability from the air at a much greater range than her aura defenses operate at. She isn't sure how large an area this collection takes place over but over time has found that whatever it is the results are the same, an area only has so much dust and can only supply so much so fast. Because of this Nox has learned that she can 'feed' her semblance with vials/cartridges of dust to keep it running in battle.
NOTE: For reference small attacks refers to direct type attacks that focus on single targets, moderate attacks refers to any attack that has an AoE that encompasses more the 4 inches from the attacks striking point, and large is the same but encompasses AoE that exceeds the damage radius common to hand grenades (15 foot diameter) █*LEVEL 0 █ ▬ The defensive scattering field envelops a range of 5 feet around her █ ▬ The absorption field extends 10 feet █ ▬ Her control of the scattering field can only properly defend against small attacks launched from outside the field effects or from point blank range █ ▬ Her control of the absorption allows for small attack creation █ ▬ She gets famished after 5, Fatigued after 8, Fainted after 10, and Recovered after 3 posts with semblance inactive. (This applies until she is fatigued; after fatigue has set in the recovery time is doubled and tripled after she has passed out.) █*LEVEL 3 █ ▬ The defensive scattering field envelops a range of 15 feet around her, and she can apply her aura onto others to create a 5 foot defense field around them that shares the defensive properties of the lv 1 field █ ▬ The absorption field extends 50 feet █ ▬ Her control of the scattering field can only properly defend against small, moderate attacks not made at point blank range, or large attacks not launched from outside the field's effects. █ ▬ Her control of the absorption allows for small, moderate, large attack creation █ ▬ She gets famished after 10, Fatigued after 15, Fainted after 20, and Recovered after 2 posts with semblance inactive. (This applies until she is fatigued; after fatigue has set in the recovery time is doubled and tripled after she has passed out.) █*ADVANTAGES █ ▬ Her semblance offers a great defense against what is probably the most dangerous form of being attacked in the world of Remnant █ ▬ She can use vials of dust to fuel her semblance for a time if the area has run dry. █ ▬ Additionally she can turn an enemies dust against them in a fight by exposing it to her aura. █ ▬ Her ability to attack with dust is extremely potent and can border on spell slinging in style and application. Clearly very dangerous for those on the receiving side. █*DRAWBACKS █ ▬ Nox must selectively activate her aura and her semblance both. Scattering dust and absorbing it for her own use at will, not automatically. Thus it is a requirement for her to be able to see or sense, at least be aware of in some way, an attack before she can counter. This makes her vulnerable to ambush tactics from a long distance, course ambushes are only good once so best no mess up. █ ▬ Her aura defense is not flawless. It has holes in the fact that her semblance gives no additional protection against attacks free of dust, additionally dust based attack strong enough to punch through deal full damage to her for the strength they still have upon striking her. This is covered in some detail in each level's reference of her control of the scattering field █ ▬ Nox's semblance stops to function entirely if she is rendered unconscious, she can't decide to use her abilities when she is in no condition to decide anything. █ ▬ Nox's semblance fields will not automatically cause injury to people or animals that enter them despite the dust found in their bodies. █ ▬ Natural Dust is limited and replenished at a rate that makes sense for the availability. This limitation forms the back bone of the cool down timers associated with attacking with this semblance. This means a place naturally rich in dust replenishes used dust faster than a place with poor resources. When drawing upon the naturally occurring dust in the air the colors that can be drawn upon must make sense: ie green can be found most anywhere, but you will find more blue near a lake, yellow is only really abundant during storms, and purple (gravity) is usually only found in large amounts around large drop offs.
Poor zones can only power 1 powerful attack or a handful of smaller ones at the most, They take 7 posts of not being drawn upon to replenish that fairly insignificant supply. Moderate zones can power a lot of smaller attacks and could be used to launch up to three powerful strikes if the draw on the resources is handled carefully (not one every post). They can take 4-5 post to replenish their supplies of dust in the air depending on how many different colors are readily available at the location. Rich zones provide immense amounts of dust of many colors. They can easily fuel more than five powerful dust based attacks even if one is used once per post, and it will have no problem supplying the dust required for minor or weaker attacks. If major dust attacks are used in rapid succession, 5 in 4 posts or less, it will take 3 post for the dust supply to be restocked. These areas are obviously the best places to fight in but they are much harder to find than the fairly abundant Moderate zones.
█ ▬ Finally extensive use of this semblance draws on the body's resources. Causing Nox to first become famished enough she will possibly eat your horse, joking joking. Then fatigued fatigue until she finally also faints from hunger and exhaustion. The posts that these start to occur at count for any use be it maintaining the defense field or the offensive properties both regardless of the area's natural dust recharge rate, meaning if she has exhausted the natural dust but uses her own or an enemies dust to keep up the attack or just defends herself with the semblance while the natural dust recharges itself this counter will rise.

▬ First is a simple fix. Under species where you have stated she is a faunus I also need you to include what type of faunus she is.
▬ Secondly, after talking with the crew, we determined that we are okay with the general idea of the semblance but we just need you to explicitly include a fee things. Due to the fact that humans, animals, and everything is made out of dust, as well as the face aura is an extension of a person's soul, we just need you to make note that here defensive field would not kill or damage a person or animal were they to enter it.
▬ I really liked the scaling you included throughout the levels but I would like you to add one more thing with that. You included in her drawbacks how long she can keep the fields active before becoming exhausted. I would rather you include a limit at each level and scale it up as she gets stronger.
▬ Finally, just a few questions for some clarification. Firstly, with her win she uses aura shots, but how many shots can she use at one time. Secondly, with her semblance, once she has activated a field is she able to move it. There might he mire later, but this is all for now.

Their main jobs was in the procurement and transportation of goods from one country of Remnant to another. This took them all around. So while she was young she never really viewed anywhere to be home. Even today she still has a slight where ever I am and where those I care about are at is home to me attitude. Their days of traveling though ended several years ago. Nox and her parents are obviously faunus and most of the people that worked with her parents were likewise the same. The traveling ended after an encounter with the Tribe. A group of them looking to get rid of some faunus or perhaps collect some to sell as slaves. The airship that her parent's business used to move it's goods was shot down by this group. They went in looking for some fun and spoils. They stole what goods they could find that were useful or undamaged enough to sell. They also killed a number of those that survived the crash. They never went to the cockpit of the airship where her father was at but they did find her mother and herself. There was no where for her to run off to and her mother could only try to fend them off and shield her daughter. Nox was injured at the end of the fighting by the same blow that killed her mother.
Luckily Nox survived the injury, though the lack of adequate food or water for the next four days didn't make that easy nor did it help give her the ability to resist. Ultimately Nox never got a chance to get away from the group of Tribe Members but she never ended up begin sold or anything either. The act of shooting down an airship tends to draw a lot of attention and in this case it drew the attention of two teams of huntsman. They were easily able to tell this wasn't related to grimm and were just as easily able to track down the culprits. They rescued everyone the Tribe had abducted and got them back to the nearest city. After that Nox's father took her back to Menagerie. They lived there until she got a chance to get into a school in Vale.

Scattering dust and absorbing it for her own use at will, not automatically. Thus it is a requirement for her to be able to see or sense, at least be aware of in some way, an attack before she can counter. This makes her vulnerable to ambush tactics from a long distance, course ambushes are only good once so best no mess up. █ ▬ Her aura defense is not flawless. It has holes in the fact that her semblance gives no additional protection against attacks free of dust, additionally dust based attack strong enough to punch through deal full damage to her for the strength they still have upon striking her. This is covered in some detail in each level's reference of her control of the scattering field █ ▬ Nox's semblance stops to function entirely if she is rendered unconscious, she can't decide to use her abilities when she is in no condition to decide anything. █ ▬ Nox's semblance fields will not automatically cause injury to people or animals that enter them despite the dust found in their bodies. █ ▬ Natural Dust is limited and replenished at a rate that makes sense for the availability. This limitation forms the back bone of the cool down timers associated with attacking with this semblance.This means a place naturally rich in dust replenishes used dust faster than a place with poor resources. When drawing upon the naturally occurring dust in the air the colors that can be drawn upon must make sense: ie green can be found most anywhere, but you will find more blue near a lake, yellow is only really abundant during storms, and purple (gravity) is usually only found in large amounts around large drop offs.
Poor zones can only power 1 powerful attack or a handful of smaller ones at the most, They take 7 posts of not being drawn upon to replenish that fairly insignificant supply. Moderate zones can power a lot of smaller attacks and could be used to launch up to three powerful strikes if the draw on the resources is handled carefully (not one every post). They can take 4-5 post to replenish their supplies of dust in the air depending on how many different colors are readily available at the location. Rich zones provide immense amounts of dust of many colors. They can easily fuel more than five powerful dust based attacks even if one is used once per post, and it will have no problem supplying the dust required for minor or weaker attacks. If major dust attacks are used in rapid succession, 5 in 4 posts or less, it will take 3 post for the dust supply to be restocked. These areas are obviously the best places to fight in but they are much harder to find than the fairly abundant Moderate zones.

Then fatigued fatigue until she finally also faints from hunger and exhaustion. The posts that these start to occur at count for any use be it maintaining the defense field or the offensive properties both regardless of the area's natural dust recharge rate, meaning if she has exhausted the natural dust but uses her own or an enemies dust to keep up the attack or just defends herself with the semblance while the natural dust recharges itself this counter will rise.

She vision includes improved night vision but she can go a step further. The scale patches on her face have pit organs giving her a sixth sense, a second form of vision she can selectively focus on and use to see infrared radiation. █Other Talents ▬ █ ▬ Aura to Spare: Nox's aura is very powerful and seems to be quite extensive. Rich zones provide immense amounts of dust of many colors. They can easily fuel more than five powerful dust based attacks even if one is used once per post, and it will have no problem supplying the dust required for minor or weaker attacks. If major dust attacks are used in rapid succession, 5 in 4 posts or less, it will take 3 post for the dust supply to be restocked. These areas are obviously the best places to fight in but they are much harder to find than the fairly abundant Moderate zones.

In high light levels the pupils tend to be open to a more round like appearance that is typical of humans. Though her pupils are in fact actually vertical slit type pupils common to reptiles. When the pupils are narrowed to slits she has very sharp vision on what she is focusing upon at the trade off of a narrower field of view. She vision includes improved night vision but she can go a step further. The scale patches on her face have pit organs giving her a sixth sense, a second form of vision she can selectively focus on and use to see infrared radiation. █Other Talents ▬ █ ▬ Aura to Spare: Nox's aura is very powerful and seems to be quite extensive. Not only managing to effectively safe guard her own person but constantly be pushed out around her to fuel her semblance and weapon. █ ▬ Will of Tempered Steel: Nox doesn't look all that imposing physically, but mentally she is nearly an immovable object. █BACKGROUND ▬ Nox's family came from Menagerie but they used to travel around a lot when she was young. Her parents were merchants. Their main jobs was in the procurement and transportation of goods from one country of Remnant to another. This took them all around. So while she was young she never really viewed anywhere to be home. Even today she still has a slight where ever I am and where those I care about are at is home to me attitude. Their days of traveling though ended several years ago. Nox and her parents are obviously faunus and most of the people that worked with her parents were likewise the same. The traveling ended after an encounter with the Tribe. A group of them looking to get rid of some faunus or perhaps collect some to sell as slaves. The airship that her parent's business used to move it's goods was shot down by this group. They went in looking for some fun and spoils. They stole what goods they could find that were useful or undamaged enough to sell. They also killed a number of those that survived the crash. They never went to the cockpit of the airship where her father was at but they did find her mother and herself. There was no where for her to run off to and her mother could only try to fend them off and shield her daughter. Nox was injured at the end of the fighting by the same blow that killed her mother.
Luckily Nox survived the injury, though the lack of adequate food or water for the next four days didn't make that easy nor did it help give her the ability to resist. Ultimately Nox never got a chance to get away from the group of Tribe Members but she never ended up begin sold or anything either. The act of shooting down an airship tends to draw a lot of attention and in this case it drew the attention of two teams of huntsman. They were easily able to tell this wasn't related to grimm and were just as easily able to track down the culprits. They rescued everyone the Tribe had abducted and got them back to the nearest city. After that Nox's father took her back to Menagerie. They lived there until she got a chance to get into a school in Vale.

On locks the two together to make a double sided sword sword. This way the weapon takes on a single blade 2.5 feet in length and 4 inches thick with an edge on both the leading and trailing side. This form is also convenient for sheathing, They can be separated into twin blades with one cutting edge on the leading side and a length of wire connecting the base of each hilt to the other. █Melee Form: Double Bladed Staff ▬ When placing both of the short swords hilts together they can be twisted into a locking position making a double bladed staff. One should note that the blade can be opened in this form to reveal the barrels of the gun form. █Ranged Form: Pistol Mode ▬ Simple mechanical movements to change the hilt position and deploy the barrel and viola, gun blades. █Ammo Type ▬ Aura primarily, though dust provided by the semblance works too. A reload supply 10 shots per barrel if aura, if dust is loaded the shot count is reduced to 4. █ DRAWBACKS ▬ Ranged mode works only by means of drawing on her aura and semblance. Stage one is the ability to weaponize her aura against dust and the second stage of the ability is to absorb and collect dust particles out of the air and use them.These two halves come together to form the whole of Nox's semblance.
The weaponized aura creates what Nox would refer to as a Dust Diffusion or Dust Scattering Field. This aura field is established as an elliptical envelope about her person. At an even more basic level this ability is not solely limited to an enemy's attack. All places have naturally occurring dust particles in the air which can be collected as well. Nox can collect dust with this ability from the air at a much greater range than her aura defenses operate at.
