Ivory would tilt his head at Nova. The nub was completly healed when he was in the medical tent, thanks to the nurse there. He had been robbed of seeing what had become of the spot, because he had passed out. He would lay down the screw driver, pulling his right sleeve up. He would take off the sock he used as padding, showing a completely healed part of his arm. It was smooth, as if there wasn't even a scar there, and their was muscle where the part was taken off. "It's healed Nova. It has been since the day that we actually talked for the first time. His voice was neutral about this. He wasn't mad, he was more confused, so he would share with her what it looked like.
His ears would go flat when he heard that the Tribe had taken her clan from her. He knew what it was like to lose everyone you ever cared about, with one action on something else's part. "I'm glad I could do that for you." He would look her in the eyes again, before working on the last of the screws. "Nov, we are each other's clan now. Your clan is gone, and mine won't take me back, not with my arm like this. So we will work together, like clansmen. Even if you smell like dog." He would stick out his tongue a bit at the dog part. He knew why she smelled of it, and even though he didn't like the smell, her being with Noah was all for the course, even though he hated that dog.
Ivory would laugh, his laugh being much deeper than his normal voice, which was light, and feminine. "I'll accept a cuddle from him, when he stops farting while he sleeps. He can clear out the room." Ivory wasn't lying either, Noah ripped so many farts when he slept, that having scent in that room made it unbearable.

Nova wasn't sure about things like limbs healing, and just nodded as she listened to Ivory talking to her about it already being healed. She saw his ears suddenly drop, indicating he was a little concerned or sad, and continued to listen to him stating that they were each other's clan. "Oh no! there are still one hundred and seven members in my clan! My Pa sacrificed his life so that we could get the pups and run!" she said, "He was a good Pa, but now after the few years I spend in here, I'll be chief of the clan - following in his footsteps!" she said, putting her hands on her hips as if she was a superhero. The truth was, Nova didn't really want to be the chief of the clan, she wanted to travel the world with Noah. However, she was the type of girl to just enjoy the moment, and wanted to make the most of her experience here. Nudging Ivory on the shoulder she winked playfully, "Well, your clan don't deserve you - you can come join my clan, get your own wolf, who knows?!" she said, laughing loudly at the thought.
"Hey!" she said, instantly going cross - not hiding the pretending part well. "I'll have you know lots of people would appreciate my smell!" she said, forcing her hand up to Ivorys nose to make him smell her as she couldn't help but smile again.
Nova enjoyed seeing Ivory laugh, she laughed along with him however extremely loud so that the whole class could hear. "HE REALLY DOES FART DOESN'T HE?!" she said, almost unable to speak the laughter was uncontrollable. "HE WOULD BE SO EMBARASSED TO HEAR THAT!!" she yelled through her laughter, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks.
Noah's ears pricked up, he could hear Nova's laughing as he continued to sit with Maria. He was just happy the pair were getting along, if only he knew what they were laughing about. Nuzzling into Maria again, he almost started to doze off... the old man stuck in a pups body.
Ivory would look at Nova. He hadn't realized that not only was her clan alive, but she was to lead her clan once she finished becoming a hunter. He didn't know what he was going to do now that he was excommunicated from his clan. Everything that he was doing was for not only his clan, but for Vale, his second home. He would have to think about what he would actually do. He figured that Nova was joking with him though when she said that he could get his own wolf. "I'll pass on the wolf, but actually hunting with a clan would be nice." As long as they didn't take offense to his mask. He felt like he needed to wear it in serious situations, like missions and combat.
Then Nova would talk about her scent, seeing that she smelled of dog. There were other scents too, but making fun of the scent of the dog was funny. He would chuckle again, and then Nova would laugh hard about Noah farting in his sleep. It was really bad, he was surprised that Noah was still allowed to sleep in the room with them.
Ivory would go back to the finger tips of his hand, and he would look to Nova. He would gently put it in a clamp, and snip a slit in the top of them allowing the blades to come out.

Nova gave Ivory a playful punch to the shoulder, chuckling. "Maybe when I'm chief I'll get them to give you a pet cat instead huh?!" she said, still laughing. Nova looked over to make sure Noah was ok and shrugged, "Maybe I'll get a new wolf one day soon... Noah is getting old now.." she said, winking to show she was only kidding.
Nova watched him continue the work with his hand, and stayed silent as she asked a lot of questions in her head that she decided not to say aloud.

XXX... Perhaps Conrad was just too hung over to grasp what she had said, and sighs softly in response. Maybe she should just get started on the task he was assigned to do after class, cleaning up the messes that were left about the warehouse. And by help, she clearly intended to have Prism do it. Moving her arm weakly, she would make a soft gesture above Noah for a simple word. "Clean." The message was made quite clear to the robot, as its steps began taking Maria away from Conrad and the others. As she passed by those of team MINC, she would offer the weakest wave with her hand, before settling it back on Noah to ever so delicately scratch behind his ear. In the passing, she particularly noticed Nova's uproarous laughter as she mocked the pup for farting so much in his sleep. It was quite amusing, and the softest giggle would escape her lips as she continued to lightly dance her fingers around the pooch's fur. ...
It was interesting to watch them all, though. Ivory, Nova and the precious little Noah. Maria had a special fondness in her hearts for such faunus, especially as they clashed in small, but humorous dispute. In watching them, and stroking Noah, it reminded her all too well of her team from the past... Two members in particular, a wolf faunus and a tiger faunus. Time and time again, the two were constantly barking down each others throats. The smallest thing could turn into a spat, just like cats and dogs... Everything was a competition, and Maria seemed to always be the mediator between them. It was hectic, but she loved it so much... Such a memory would only leave a pang of sadness in her heart, because she had no clue where they were now. After the falling out, and succumbing to her illness. Her dear teammates stopped visiting her, and just about everyone she knew fell out of contact. She knew what happened to one of them. She knew just from their history together that she had to leave, because without the team together.. She was in danger, and she likely didn't want to put Maria in anymore danger than she would've been already. Everyone else though.. They all vanished in time, some more abruptly than others. Thinking about it saddened her, but reminded her as she motioned. 'Send up a check up message to the members of MAKO, please.' ... Her old team, a name that fitted the one who acted as their mentor perfectly. Prism would comply, as LEDS flashed for a moment before ceasing. "I have finished sending messages to team MAKO, wishing them well and all the best. I will begin cleaning now."
Following Prism's words, the robot would break away from Maria and leave her in the care of Noah. Maria occasionally sent messages to her former team to try and check up on them, see how they were doing. She had even messaged the three of them when she decided to return to Beacon, in hopes she would see them again. ... Knowing them, though. Some of them may have went on to graduate, while she knew one was hiding away. She really did hope for the best, because she never got a response from either of them over the past few years. ... Maybe she just didn't have the right number anymore. It truly saddened her, and while she did good to keep her mood up... She couldn't help but let a tear roll down her cheek, thinking back to what was. After all, her team now just didn't have the same sentiment as the one she was apart of before... Not that she'd tell the others, that just wasn't nice. It would just be apparent in the occasional salty tear that glistened on her cheek, before dripping down onto Noah's head.
Prism was in cleaning mode now. Gathering tools and placing them back where they belonged. Sweeping up shells from bullets fired, and scrapes from bots that just couldn't piece themselves back together. The warehouse hadn't gotten too messy, fortunately, because it seemed that some of the students just kept to themselves and were tighty, all in all. Made Prism's job all the more easy.

As the class continued on, the teacher was scolding Candard for how late he was, saying that he was about to take remedial classes at this point. Nova and Ivory bonded over trying to make his hand better. Maria enjoyed her time with Noah, as Prism cleaned herself. The others in the class continued on what they were doing, either doing target practice or cleaning their weapons.
Sakura was relieved when the whole ball was over. She didn't like them in the first place and would have just preferred to have stayed in the library and read. Books were the best thing around, books would never hurt her. And they were certainly a lot more interesting than attempted drowning via overwhelmingly berry flavored punch. But that was the least of her worries as Yui ended up at the ball so her night and her mood had gotten worse. After the ball, she stayed by Yui's side as long as she could though she had to answer a call from her dad who was curious how her night had gone. All she did was not directly answer the question and just said her team had fun instead. After hanging up, she packed up the dress she was sent into a box. She could just stuff it somewhere but she didn't want it anywhere near her anymore. It was over and done with. She was just going to return it back home for her dad to keep for someone else. Sakura was sure that one of her siblings would benefit from it a lot more than she would. Not seemingly tired at all, she pulled out a book just for the sake of reading. She had no idea what it was about but nothing more entertaining than surprises.
The next thing Sakura knew, classes were a thing which meant back to the usual school uniform. Fighting in a skirt wasn't something that Sakura was fond of but that was why she usually wore the long leggings with the outfit. She was often prone to kicking things and you never really know when you need to spontaneously fight someone. Sakura peaked inside the classroom and saw that it was relatively empty. Was she early? It seemed like it. She hoped that the teacher wouldn't mind her getting started early. She was actually itching to see what she could do with Grunhilde who was currently wrapped around her waist like a fashionable belt. Sakura approached one of the robots and turned it on, putting the setting on medium. It was a bit too early to try advanced and her mind wasn't exactly in the right place to do so anyways with her worry for Yui still addling her mind. Sakura had to quickly back away before the robot could throw a hit which is actually did, narrowly missing her by a hair.
The robot pulled out a sword from it's back and quickly advanced towards her. Sakura managed to block it with the chain of her mace just in the nick of time. A familiar feeling filled her entire being, a determination to fight. Just then, her aura flared up before semblance activated. Ice slowly spread onto the chain of the mace, hardening it before it overtook it completely. Sakura used all of her upper body strength to push the robot away from her before she started to advance on her own. She made quick slashes at the robot again and again though it managed to keep blocking it. It was exhausting but it did help her get a proper idea of the robot's striking pattern. Sakura waited for her chance and found it by striking to the left, knocking the sword out of the robot's hand with ease. Sakura watched it skid across the ground with a small smile on her face feeling quite satisfied.
Though, the reprieve was short lived when the robot upgraded from one to two. Sakura sucked in a sharp breath as she was then on the defensive again, blocking and dodging the attacks that it began to quickly barrage onto her. Sakura was trying to gather her bearings but couldn't as she found herself backed against one of the tables a bit too late. Sakura quickly dodged, narrowly missing being beheaded by jumping upwards onto the table. Noticing her height advantage, Sakura focused all her pent up anger and strength into a kick towards the robot's head. It stumbled backwards and Sakura immediately knew that it was her opening. Sakura quickly hopped off of the table and ran towards the robot, sliding under it's legs before quickly getting to her feet. Before the robot could turn around, she smashed her mace against it's neck which finally shattered the ice. The chain wrapped around the robot's neck just then. "It's over!" Sakura then pulled as hard as she could. The head of the robot dislocated then and there before it fell to the floor.
Sakura let out a small breath. That certainly worked up a bit of a sweat. She walked over to the robot, pulling it to it's feet and putting it's head back on. The robot was fine which was a relief to her. She powered it off before she slumped onto the bench of the workshop chair. Exhausted, Sakura slumped onto the bench.

XXXTo think that after experiencing such a sense of liberation, it would all come crashing down in an instant? A constant of this world that she was beginning to learn the hard way was that it was cruel. That while you could experience the highest of highs, the lowest of lows will always be ready to catch you and take it all away. The young Lioncourt knew that it was a mistake to attend the ball. Yet she still let herself get talked into it by Garret's words. It was a steady climb to get to the point where she was actually enjoying herself. In her perspective dance had become a new method of combat, before she was finally coaxed into letting her serious nature fade. In time she actually found herself enjoying the activity with Garret leading the way, drawing all eyes on them as they put on a marvelous display with a fiery passion for competition along with literal fireworks due to the nature of her semblance. It was an awe-worthy performance that may have very well secured them victory. However, such news never had the chance to reach her as her time in the spotlight was so swiftly cut away from her. It had all happened so fast. All she could remember was a smaller woman with fluffy white ears approach. Eyes of silver widened akin to a deer in headlights while emitting a most toxic sense of fear and panic. Yui barely had a moment to blink before she felt the sharpened nails tear into her flesh just above her left eye and across her face diagonally. The strike was not clean, leaving a variety of cuts that spanned across the poor girl's face. A pure white canvas stained with a deep crimson.
Everything from that moment on was a blur. A mix of pain and loss of blood which caused her to constantly fade in and out of reality. All she knew was that she was under the immediate care of her escort, Garret as well as a woman she respected so, Kail. In time, she was certain that her teammates had come to her aid as well while her assailant had escaped the ball with a woman in a wheelchair in tow. It appeared as if reality was wishing to correct itself for a mistake it made, which it had in that moment. Yui's time at Beacon thus far had been a variety of experiences that she had never been exposed to. It was her first time on her own in public eye, away from the constant guardianship of her mother. The first time in her life that she had gotten to breathe with her own lungs, and feel the wind against her feathers. It all began with her first step on those sandy shores as a student of Beacon and not a faceless heiress. Everything began with that first encounter with a man resting on the beach with two spears by his side. She managed to bring disappointment to her mother within her first week of attending Beacon by not being assigned as leader of her team, something that was completely out of her power... Yet, the blame still fell on her for not achieving something that every Lioncourt had done to date. Her team seemed odd and quirky, but sweet all the same. Something drove her to try and achieve more with herself, to go above and beyond, which is what brought her to applying to aid Professor Kail. A woman who would impact her life in more ways than she could imagine, someone from the outside who strived to break the mold that her other tried to force her into... To crack the glass cage that threatened to snuff out her flame for good. It seemed that every step she took towards distancing herself from her mother, the more severe the consequences happened in every day life. For every time Yui stepped off the path placed before her, she seemed to suffer more and more. Tonight was no exception and for that, she needed time to think.
The next couple of weeks Yui had grown more distant, or at least she tried to. While the progress that others so diligently made with her seemed to be toss to the wind, it seemed that no one was willing to give up on her so easily. Her team had stuck by her side after her accident, and both Garret and Kail had made an effort to ensure Yui was recovering well. It seemed that no one was willing to let her build the walls that she was finally starting to wither down. That however didn't mean she had to comply with everything. She had even refused the medical assistance of those who were trained to heal such wounds almost instantly. Perhaps a deep sense of pride forbid her from taking such an easy root, something that too stemmed from living under her mother's care. Her father had been a renown medic before joining the Lioncourt family, however his abilities were only ever used when Yui had fallen and needed a push. Yui was taught to endure her pain and make her her strength, to bear every mark and let it mold her... Thus, the claws would leave their mark... A permanent scar that would forever be a reminder of the night that her face was defiled once again, this time by a stranger she had never met. Though Yui had grown far more silent the passing weeks, each day she started to come around a bit more. ... By the time classes came around, she was even willing to show her face once more. As her aunt had said, it was these scars that made her who she was. There was no point in hiding the past, but embracing it.
As the time for classes came around, Yui had been mulling over something new... Perhaps something that would help her feel just a bit better, and that was improving the effectiveness of her weapon. She had been gifted with a semblance that let her be a jack of all trades, and designed her weapon around it accordingly. However, there was always room for improvements, and that's what she intended to try this class. An idea that came to her in a dream, or rather, a nightmare. The young woman passed through the walls with haste, wanting to ensure that she made it to class in a timely manner just as she did with aura class. In her arms, however, were curved bits of metal that resembled the rings she wore on her finger. They were leftovers from the last time she performed maintenance on the tinderbox, so perhaps she could find a use for them in class today. Slowly, the doorknob would click as the white haired girl peaked her pale blue hues in the room. Eyelids would narrow on blue orbs as she caught a glimpse of Sakura engaging with one of the robots... Never before had she seen one of her teammates fight, which peaked her interest ever so slightly.
Cautiously, Yui would tuck her wings closer to her body as she pushed past the door and shut it silently behind her. From a distance, she continued to watch the full efforts of Sakura's rather intense fight with the robot. ... Where they specifically designed to try and behead students? One sword strike came awfully close, which managed to stir a pang of worry for her teammate... After all, time and time again the girl seemed to worry for Yui unnecessarily. It was something she wasn't use to. Yui would begin to close the distance, silent footsteps passing through the warehouse as Sakura entered the climax of her fight what shattering ice before beheading the robot. Of course, such a feat must be declared to the world. ... She was so energetic, so angry. Why was that? As Sakura pieced the robot back together before collapsing on a bench, a distant applause would be heard. With the metal bits tucked under her armpit, she'd give Sakura a quiet clap for her effort. "You did very well for yourself, Sakura. I'm impressed." Yui would provide a compliment where it was due. The combat bot seemed much more aggressive than she anticipated, yet Sakura perform miraculously against it and came out on top. Yui would place herself at the end of the bench Sakura laid, placing her metal pieces down on the table. Toolkits were readily available, which Yui would pickup without hesitation and begin inspecting the pieces. ... What was she going to do with these, anyways? ]"I've never seen maced based combat in person. ... Perhaps I can watch more in the future, if you'd allow me to." As a jack of all trades in terms of weapons, Yui deemed any opportunity to become proficient with weapons a necessity. Though, the real reason she requested such a thing was because she was simply trying to be more of a teammate... More social, which Sakura would surely pick up as an oddity. After all, Yui always made sure she was sitting on her own, yet now... She sat directly next to her and tried to engage in conversation first. While an oddity, at least she was trying. ... Though, this was the first time that Sakura would be able to see the newly formed scars that were clearly etched across her skin. There was no point in hiding it anymore.
Ren had spent the next two weeks just having fun and doing his best to overtake his fears.... which were going horribly as he could barely approach Kali without running away when one of her snakes popped out. Other than that, he spent his time trying to hang out with his friends and it became a common occurance for him to wear a school blazer with leather gloves and a face mask at this point. He wasn't doing much of anything truly fun besides trying to convince his friends to go out and having some fun like Bowling and maybe the arcade, namely because he wanted to bring the team closer as much as possible.
Classes started to return once more, much to the dismay of the fun-loving Ren but he knew they were needed sadly and was willing to go. Once they had signed up for the class, Ren had to go and get his weapon to ensure he was okay with it, sliding the boots onto his feet, he made his way to class as he jogged with a smile on his face, along with his backpack full of drinks such as Gin, some Applejuice, and one can't go wrong with a clear bottle of Vodka! He arrived in class, sliding the door open as he called out, "Good morning people!!!" His eyes closed, a dumb open smile on his face as someone shouted 'It's over!' and then he watched the head land near his feet, slowly moving his head down. He opened his eyes and blinked before he screamed at the sight of a dismembered head! Just then, Yui walked past him and inside as he was screaming before Sakura came by and picked it up, reattaching it to the body as he finished his scream.
He looked at the two, and noticed they were the only ones here so far as he walked in, adjusting his backpack with the sound of glass movements. "Why were you fighting a robot Sakura?" He asked as he took steps and sat down beside Yui and even he noticed how different Yui was when she was talking, causing Ren to mentally smile as they had made Progress! SO MUCH DELICIOUS PROGRESS!!! ....Like the chicken he overate from the ball that his stomach still hate him on. He shook his head and soon set his arms on the work bench, leaning forward as he looked to Yui and Sakura. "If Yui wants to see Sakura fighting more in the future, then I have to get in on seeing that. I'm good with kicks, but I doubt I could last against a mace~"

The Ball was over and it was back to school.Oswald was somewhat excited for this course but it would be difficult to know what he is thinking. Weapons class is something that he would undoubtedly enjoy. He is also glad to be out of that suit. Even though he was looking classy. Fighting in that would be difficult as throwing a punch or escaping attacks would hold him back or slow him down. That in a fight especially some of these high caliber students would be quite regrettable. He couldn't care if he was late but he is here in class and not absent. As he entered he saw a few activities going on. Sakura attacking robots and also in very nice leggings. He stood as he watched her teammates fighting ability. At the end of her performance, she pulled the head out of a robot from it's body. Oswald was amazed at that performance Sakura has done. "I came right on time to the fun stuff, huh." he said while clapping, enjoying the show.
The weapons and maintenance teacher was a tad late her own class, though the lesson was sadly a boring one. Going into the building she immediately went to the maintenance table, placing her rifle down on display. "Because you kids had too much fun last time with the shooting range it’s been requested we do Weapons cleaning and Weapon modifications. As we talk you may do cleaning, modifications, assembly and disassembly." Looking up she signaled for the class to gather around. "No matter the weapons, gun or melee, it needs to be cleaned. For example my Sniper Rifle changes to an Automatic Rifle so blood shouldn’t be an issue. That is very correct HOWEVER my issue becomes dust and powder. Generally a rag and a cleaning liquid does the trick. This does require I take apart my weapon." She would demonstrate some of the disassembly to her students. "I like to use part cleaner like what a mechanic would use. You built your weapons, how would you clean them?"

Sakura sucked in a sudden breath, standing up straight when she heard her teammates suddenly giving her support. When did they even get here? Her cheeks were tinged pink in embarrassment and only seemed to flush more at such words of support from her friends. "Oh, well, you know-" She pushed out with a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of her neck with a smile. "I was mainly fighting the robot so I could understand what my weapon could improve on." She explained to Ren. "Maybe I'll make it longer. Or maybe make the chain stronger...both?" She couldn't really decide. Both might be the better option. Sakura was flattered that Yui wanted to see her fight more. And Ren wanted in on it too. "Well, I mean, if you guys want to? I don't mind it." Though, it would be a bit embarrassing to have her teammates watching her fight. Combat was all about raw emotion and Sakura was at her rawest when doing so, giving into the festering anger and disgust that always swirled around in her gut and redirecting it towards and enemy. She looked towards Oswald and smiled. "Yeah, I guess. But I'm expecting to see you in combat too, you know." She was always interested in other people's semblance and their way of fighting. It always helped her plan things better. She jokingly raised her fists into a fighting stance towards Oswald. "We could go one on one. But you'd have to be prepared to lose."
When the teacher entered, Sakura stood as stiff as a board like a soldier standing at attention. Though, she did seem to relax a bit when the teacher began talking and asked them to gather around. Weapons cleaning and modification, huh? She could do that. She was planning on adding onto Grunhilde anyways so this worked for her. Oooh, she was already setting up some good ideas. She watched with keen interest as the woman disassembled and reassembled her rifle before asking them a question. Was it rhetorical? No matter, she was answering it anyways. "Well, I always use my semblance with Grunhilde which actually ruins the chain. So, I clean the chain by using a certain solution. But, if the chain is just too far gone, I simply replace it." She said. She had actually gotten the chain recently replaced so she was quite happy with her weapon. There was also the issue of stuff getting on the spikes. She would usually clean that herself, as well. Nothing hot water and picking stuff off of it kept such a weapon clean that usually did the trick.

XXXScreaming. A key sign that their wonderful rabbit teammate had arrived. If it wasn't some screaming, it was some other ridiculous sound that brought all attention to him. The attention that she wouldn't let waver so easily. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she passed the boy in order to take her seat beside Sakura. Pale blue hues would narrow at the sound of jostling glass within the boys bags, quite literally glaring daggers in his direction. A glare he should've been used to by now, but something about the scars that now littered her face made it all the more intimidating. However, that attention would shift as they segwayed into the talk of combat and watching Sakura fight. What was once a glare would soften as her gaze panned over to her once more. "If.. you're interested... Perhaps you and I could recreate what I did with Azura during our Aura course. I copied her weapon only to engage in a short spar. By clashing with your own weapon as well as seeing it used, it might give you a better concept to work with." It was following her words that blue embers would begin to ignite and spark around her body. The display was short but nonetheless dazzling as a small burst of blue flames erupted from her body, just as it did at the dance. Following the creation of the flames, they'd dissolve into a series of embers that gathered at her raised hand to assemble a mace. It wasn't quite the replica that Yui indicated, but it was fairly spot on for the design of the weapon. Perhaps the head was a bit smaller, the chain a little longer. It was simply a mace, but if Yui desired she could very well replicate it. Its presence was soft but toasty in her palm. "I cannot recreate your ice abilities, but I may be able to substitute it with my fire. This would also be a wonderful opportunity for me to learn how to use a mace. Later, of course." Yui would dismiss the blazing creation from her hand, letting it dissolve away into blue embers that danced around her being.
As the weapon crumbled away her eyes would dart back towards Ren, mentioning his kicks. That was a variation of weapon she wasn't comfortable recreating... Those for melee combat. Unarmed combat was far from her comfort zone, so relying on a series of kicks as well as the strength needed just... Didn't work for her. ".. If you were to fight, you wouldn't have to worry about being disarmed at the very least. Such an opportunity could work towards your advantage, Ren." Overcoming weaknesses and ceasing opportunities. One of the many lessons that were engraved in the young woman's mind during her 'training,' so... At the very least, she was in a place of experience to recommend such a thing. Perhaps it was Sakura's words mixed with Oswald's presence that began to work her up. Or maybe it was the influential presence of Garret being more active in her life, constantly working her up with competition as well as her natural desire to flex her abilities and participate in combat. For honor, and for herself. Such a mix of things managed to spark an idea in her mind, much like the embers that danced around her. ".. If that's the case, why not participate in a tournament style? Four singles matches, one on one. The victors compete for the top, the losers compete for last place. It would pose as an ... interesting extracurricular activity." First it was a contest of volleyball, which she achieved victory. Then it was the dance at the ball, which after her incident she learned that their entry had dazzled the heart enough to achieve victory. Perhaps this could be the third competition since her time at Beacon, something that she may very well need to keep her mind from wandering about her mother... About that lion, Kendall..
Much like Sakura, Yui's posture became prim and proper the moment the teacher stepped through the door. Then again, when was Yui ever one to slouch or not express such top-notch mannerisms? Even if this class wasn't dedicated to shooting up a range of bots, it still held an important role in the life of huntsmen. Maintenance. It was all a process towards reaching your peak. In combat, your body had to be a well-oiled machine in order to keep up with whatever challenges you faced. The same also applied to their weapon, as a weapon not properly maintained would be unreliable during those trials. It most certainly was a basic prerequisite for any aspiring hunter. With a silent nod, Yui would not hesitate to approach at the gestured motion to gather. With pale eyes analyzing every moment, she'd note the basic series of steps that the teacher was walking them through. This rifle was much more complicated than the one she copied from Azura. Thus, getting an opportunity to see the workings of the gun only allowed her mind cultivate an accurate representation.
Yui's eyes would remain focused on the weapon before her as Sakura talked, the slightest head nods expressing her understanding until the last word spoke. It seemed relatively simple, just as her weapon was... Except hers relied on her semblance entirely. With a soft sigh escaping her lips, the embers would gather at her now outstretched hands to recreate the rifle before her; Lacroix. "My weapon relies heavily on my semblance as well. ... Rather, its a storage to lessen the strain. Maintenance is simple. Silver polish and a pipe cleaner to get in the narrow spaces. It often collects soot, so after I've discarded a weapon its always in my best interest to clean any residue of my embers." It was following her words that the embers that created the rifle she replicated would dissolve once again. However, this time the embers would dance in a certain pattern before flowing elegantly like falling leaves into the ring on her left ring finger. As the embers disappeared into the silver clasp, a faint blue light would shimmer in response to the stored embers. "I often polish my rings to ensure I can see the indicating lights clearly. Otherwise, I may burn my hand from attempting to exceed the ember capacity." With her demonstration complete, the young Lioncourt wouldn't hesitate to return her seat of choice. Ears would carefully listen for further instruction, or for anything her teammates had to say. However, it was now that she began looking at the silver bands of metal that she brought with her to class. ... She already had a plan in the works. It was a manner that left her in an odd sense both less and more dependant on her semblance to supply her weapon. Perhaps with the extra parts she's accumulated, she may very well be able to redesign the process of storing. ... However, it was something she'd only be able to figure out through experimentation.
Ren watched as their teacher came in as he heard Sakura's response about mainly fighting a robot to understand her weapon and improving on it. "Oooo, making it longer would make it more fun~" He stated aloud before he nodded his head happily. "Yes, yes, yes. I want in!" He looked to see Yui as she was staring daggers at him, he blushed and looked away as he whistled a bit before she spoke more and it was making him smile, then fire happened. Ren looked to see her summoning up the flames to make up a mace with a similar design aspect as her own. "I mean, being disarmed can happen to anyone, and my boots are more for fighting and then drinking." He told her as he heard Oswald and then Sakura AND THEN YUI speaking of a tournament. "Ooooooo we should totally do that some time after class, maybe tomorrow?" He asked with a small grin before he soon heard the words of the teacher. He sat up straight and began to take off his steel boots, his normal ones still on his feet as he set them on the table. There was no stink, they were clean before he soon said, "Um.... would running water, rag, and soap work?"

Oswald walked and he was happy that Sakura was into fighting as much as he is and heard Yui talk about a tournament. That caught his attention. Oswald grabbed a head of a robot. "A tournament, huh. That is interesting. But lets make it even more interesting. No abilities of any kind. Just fighting skills; no weapons. AND winners get a loser for a servant for a whole day." He ended with the robot head slowly being squeezed as the sound of circuits being broken. "Just pure natural fighting ability." Oswald dropped the robot that was sparred with Sakura. "What do you guys think?"
