Cadet Fangnyl
HP: 50
Action: freaking out
Damage: n/a
Location: B4 -> D4

Commander Velyria was dead.

Their senshi had been Caedus the whole time, experiments of some sort had went on, he wasn't sure of the whole thing and he certainly didn't have all the information he wished he did.

The only thing he was sure about right now was that Aliez was trying to save Velyria.

He couldn't help, not realistically, and he was still technically on the side of the Order, but... He sprinted over anyway, once he was able to get up after the blast from the generator exploding him had knocked him to the ground with wounds.

He wasn't going to Aliez for his own healing. He knew Aliez, and he knew Aliez was trying to heal someone who wasn't coming back. He needed to be there for his friend, everything else be damned.

He knelt next to Aliez, next to the body of their commander, and held back a wince and a gag. He was there for Aliez.

"I don't think she's coming back," he said softly, resting a hand on one of Aliez's shoulder and gazing at him seriously. "I... I'm sorry."

Aliez was already crying over the body with Velyria's sister, and he felt so out of place, but. Someone needed to be here to help make sure they didn't get hurt, either, while protecting the body.

Corrupt Sailor Hatsya
HP: 50/50
Action: Attacking Caer Sidi
Damage: 6 (Base) + 3(rank) + 2(Debuff) = 9 Total
Location: B2

Only with a sword in hand did she feel truly confident and sure of herself. A thin metal blade whistling as it cuts through the air, the satisfying feeling of slicing through something with a single swing. Little else compared to the pride she felt when she scored a point against an opponent in a sparring match, the thin metal bowing in a beautiful arch as she extended into a full lunge.

Reveled in the feeling. Yearned for the weight of something real.

But as a Senshi, she had none of that. Nothing to hold onto, to swing, to defend herself with let alone her Captain, Prehnite, or the generator they were told to protect. At least his youma could trample someone if she had no more magic left to use.

Hatsya was a sitting duck, a tadpole among a sea of swimming sharks. Why would they bring someone like her here? When the Order invaded the Dark Kingdom, she had proven to be useless. Again, when sent into the rift to aid the Ascended Senshi, she’d been unable to do anything other than be a lure for the youma.

This time was no different. Although she’d pinned the blame on others, ultimately she had nobody but herself to blame. Fortunately, Prehnite had found an item in the Rift that, in essence, erased her recent mistake and healed her broken arm.

Lost in her own state of panic, Hatsya either didn’t hear or chose to ignore what was going on between Caedus and Lyndin. They were not her concern and she cared little if anything happened to either of them. Instead, she tried to focus on Prehnite, watched as he approached the machine, and pulled a lever that caused a surge of energy to slam into their enemies.

That act proved to be what was needed to snap her out of her panicked stupor, to put a momentary pause on all things, and actually take her frantic eyes off Iolanthe to take in who had all converged in this area to attack the generator.

That was when she spotted the Squire (Caer Sidi) with a dress more suited for a Disney princess than a bloody battlefield. Stained glass motif around her bodice with golden stars embroidered along the front hem of her dress and a filigree necklace. The same Squire that the Transcended Knight (Whisler) who had broken her arm had run over to rescue at the battle near the fountain.

Hatsya had only caught a quick glimpse of her as Benitoite carried her to the hospital, but left enough of an impression that before she realized she’d said anything the Senshi of Swordplay was already going through the motions of her only attack. “Sword of Dispelling.”

A thin ethereal blade appeared before her and with sure steps, she approached the woman and lunged towards her with the spectral blade

General Titanite
HP: 100
Action: Taking a breath
Damage 1d10 + 7 (rank) + 5 (faction) [ ]
Location: B4

Punching someone in the face always felt satisfying, especially when done well.

She had not, however, expected any praise; much less to have it received from a knight who assumed that she was... going to purify? Titanite's surprise and shock at the 'job offer' was probably clear, but she didn't say anything- there was no time as Asphodel was whirling away.

Her chin lifted. "You assume a lot, Benitoite. Collusion? You knew about this before I did. But siding with Order?" Her laugh was raw. "I have been a member of the Negaverse for ten years." she lifted her hand, pulling off one of the medals on her chest.

The medallion for collecting energy, dropped to the grass.

"I have seen some EVIL things done by both Order and the Negaverse." She held the medals tightly. "I have had my General King killed while I could not fight at his side. I have mourned the loss of a kind, and very FOOLISH Queen. I have seen my fellow agents kill human beings and eat their starseeds like candy. But this? Whatever this is? There is no honor in this." she flung the badge on the ground.

The medallion for being a General, dropped to the grass.

"I am tired of living my life without honor. I am tired of feeling shame, and exhaustion, when I power up. I am tired of feeling as though I am nothing more than meat sitting on the edge of a knife, wondering when I will be disposed of by my own leadership, and my blood used to lubricate the gears of a war machine that is NOT necessary."

The bar for her years of service- dropped to the grass. "I refuse to take part in this mission. And my own beliefs say I cannot let you do this, General Benitoite. We kill enough of them without needing to do this."

Her medallion for collecting starseeds, pulled reverently off her chest, and stored away in subspace, to serve, she hoped, as a reminder, later.

There was more to say, but a senshi moved up behind him, and Titanite blinked in surprise at the senshi that stood there. "Oh." Well. She blinked at the senshi, then at Benitoite.

Quote:
General - Her weapon is still her gloves. The magic on her gloves is now a saltwater effect- when she scratches the enemy, making a wound in skin or in fuku, the ensuing cut gets cold and damp, and on flesh feels like salt being rubbed into the raw skin. This is a minor effect, but as she has a light weapon and can theoretically make several cuts in a 'round' due to the spikes on her gauntlets, it can become very painful for the enemy very fast.

Squire Imbrium of Castor
HP: 40 (75 - 5 - 15 - 15)
Action: Crying in pain
Damage 1d10 + 5 (shield magic, no roll; -5 to one ally, 1 use left) [ ]
Location: B6

More allies were pouring in, others were fleeing to safety, damaged beyond her ability to help them. And the Generators were flickering all over the field. Aliens were dying, there was fire, EVERYWHERE, and she was just a damn Squire or an ICE prince, melting in the corner while staring at a bunch of weirdos with vendettas.

These Order members should be FLEEING, not coming in to help, did they not see the bullshit going on here? She clenched her fist around her shield, chin jutting up and out, ignoring the pain burning up her legs.

Chibi Super Charybdis
HP: 50 (75 - 25)
Action: Catching Up
Damage When calculating damage: 1d10 + 5 + Magic (note: has a silver whistle, 1 use / day) [ ]
Location: F4 -> F5, following Etoile
+2 Damage (3 uses)
Chibi Sailor Attack: Seal Pup!
Charybdis creates what looks to be a baby seal. It is clearly magical. It is very cute, and the soft little squeaks it makes encourage everyone to look at it. And not at Charybdis herself. It is precious and pure. With very big, wet, cute eyes. It can remain in a 10 foot area of where Charybdis cast the ability, flopping aimlessly towards her enemies and making soft little chuffy-whuffy noises. Seal Pup can be used 3 times and it is effing adorable. The seal remains for 20 seconds unless viciously attacked; once attacked, it cries for 5 seconds and vanishes (either at the end of the 5 seconds or at the end of its duration if attacked late). (TL;DR: Look! A Distraction!)

+3 Damage (2 uses - 001 002)
Chibi Super Sailor Attack: Shiny Pup!
The Seal pup that Charybdis makes, once it has some attention (defined as being within/having eye contact with an enemy within 5 feet, or being within 5 feet of 2+ Chaos agents), essentially turns into a flash-bang; It shines incredibly brightly, the brightness reaching out to a 10-foot radius, and the sweet little whiny orks and grunts it was making as it wriggled closer to the Chaos members turns to a high-pitched shriek that affects anyone in a 5 foot radius. Unfortunate allies may be affected by this, though Charybdis herself will not- it is her escape mechanism! The seal can remain for up to 15 seconds before it goes off; this attack can be used 3 times, and causes no damage. (TL;DR: Look! A small screaming sun!)

More people were pouring in to the area, descending upon the generator with the wrath of wonderful senshi. Fight! Fight!

And then Castor left, heading towards where she could see drama happening.

"Hokkaido," she gasped, trying to feel brave and mature, "Go stand near Aomori. It'll make it easier to protect you." Maybe. Probably.

Giulia was the Elder Senshi here, it was her job to protect babies.

Etoile had been carried off, however, and Charybdis took a moment. "Pollux!" she yelled to her brother. "I will be right back!"

And sprinting after her Guardian friend, she gasped, "Etoile, are you going to be okay?"

Sailor Alcor - Senshi of Cold
HP: 15 [50 - 5(Generator Proximity) - 15 (Sylvite Surge) - 15(Rak Surge)]
Action: Readying her magic in anticipation of being targeted.
Damage: 8 + 3(Rank) + 2 (Basic Magic) = 13 Damage to the next person that approaches her.
Location biggrin 6

With the Mercury Page (Slidr) still gone, and the other Page (Belmont) otherwise preoccupied, Alcor felt incredibly vulnerable.

Whatever was going on between the two leaders of the Vanguard was between them. She didn’t trust Cadeus with a 10’ pole and Lyndin made her uneasy when he’d first arrived. At the time she couldn’t explain why, just chalked it up to her skepticism towards their plan to destroy chaos; it seemed too good to be true while also coming off as haphazard and foolish at best.

They had no idea the kind of power the Negaverse had… at least she assumed they didn’t. However, Lyndin’s broadcasted admittance to the contrary gave Alcor a reason to pause and turn her attention towards the center console. Without knowing why at the time, she did not trust the aliens, and it felt like at that moment her feelings were validated.

This is what I tried to tell you Eleonora…

She found no joy in actually being right about it, and rather than shout ‘I told you so’ she looked off in the direction Slidr had run. “I can’t keep waiting…” Brows creased in worry, Alcor’s lips pulled into a deep frown. However, before she could so much as take a step, the generator gave off not one, but two powerful surges that knocked her to the ground.

Reeling from the concussive blast, Alcor remained unmoving for a long moment as the battlefield tilted from one side to the other. It took all she had to not fall over completely and just lay there. But she needed to get up, needed to find Ele before another generator blew up.

The Senshi of Cold struggled to her feet and in that same motion she whispered the name of her attack, “Touch of Cold.” Both hands took on a bluish tint and she readied herself to hold fast on to anyone who thought to keep her from finding her twin and getting them both out of this hell hole.

Magic: Her hands are cold and if she touches anyone the area becomes frostbitten

Cadet Nessaela
HP: 0 HP
Action: being moved to safety via Cadets Itztenoch & Eso
Damage --
Location: D6 to D5

It would have been so easy to ignore the radiating pain that was traversing up and down her body. Heck it would have been so very easy to activate her source stone and heal her own injuries. As she stood behind one of her Vanguardian comrades Nessaela almost had time to think about what she had been doing. Pain had a way of making one's mind take on a sharp focus and while she believed that siding with order had been the right thing to do - it was beginning to get a little clearer that if she hadn't made any such moves as she had that maybe she wouldn't be in this bad of shape right now. Already she could feel that there was deeper damage done internally. Nessaela was no medic. In the process of at least trying to suss out what might have occurred when the generator that she had been attacking let off another bright flash and yet another shock wave.

Oh gods. They were too close to it still. Nessaela tried to cry out a warning to Eso and Itztenoch to flee to safety and leave her be but before any words could make it past her throat - she was engulfed in the wave of energy and she felt as if all the air from her body had been stolen from her in that single moment. Nessaela felt her knees start to give out. Desperately she tried sucking in air to make up for the sudden deprivation but her lungs refused to work. Shock. She was going into shock.

Like a lead weight Nessaela's body crumpled to the ground. The good news was that even as her body made impact with the ground something kick-started her brain to start unconsciously breathing once more. Eyelashes fluttered once before she stilled. Air moved into lungs and back out but for all intent and purposes ... Nessaela was taking, well, an ill-timed timeout.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Half-Youma Captain Sakuraiite
HP: 75
Action: Leaving the bae to handle the Leporii, attacking Mamertime
Damage 2 + 5 + 4 = 11
Location: F4

Arsenolite was there. Of course Arsenolite was there; she knew for certaint hat if Tinaksite had been with them, Tinaksite would have backed her choice of target with just as much eagerness as Arsenolite did.

And one of the two Senshi dropped, and Sakuraiite giggled. The other was conscious, but barely, and that....that was a delight.

"Darling," she said, and she moved next to Arsenolite, "can I trust you to handle these two? I'll be right here if you need backup!"

She didn't wait for an answer. She trusted him completely, and so she knew that he wouldn't mind her running off to handle some of their other attackers.

After all, there was a Squire, relatively unbothered, bettering away at the generator. That just wouldn't do.

"Excuse me!" Sakuraiite said, politely. "Please don't do that."

She backed up her extremely polite request with a fist aimed for his solar plexus.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Super Sailor Asmodeus
HP: 45
Action: MORE FIREBALL ON THE GENERATOR
Damage 6 + 5 + 3 = 14
Location: B6

The officers were doing something with the generator. That much, Asmodeus was sure of. It burst with energy, crackled awful violet, and it hurt.

And she remembered a city torn asunder, a world destroyed, made to bow, and a combination of fear and anger and hatred coalesced in her heart. She would not allow this. Whatever these generators were for, it could be nothing good--and it could be some awful scheme to unleash Hell on Earth, usher in that awful future where the Negaverse ruled.

Asmodeus. Would not. Allow it.

As much as she could do by herself, as much as she could bite and snarl and fight, she would bite, and snarl, and fight until it killed her.

The Corrupted Super turned on them, and lashed out at Skoll, and Asmodeus shielded herself, but she could not shield her friend.

"Skoll!" The cry of her friend's name ripped from Asmodeus's throat, and she wanted to scream, to put herself bodily between her and the Corrupt Super threatening her. But instead, she glared, and angrily grit her teeth, and focused.

She wasn't going to risk hitting Hati with her magic--so far, her blasts had seemed contained by whatever weirdness was going on here, but she was unwilling to risk it just to punish the flash b*****d in the bright colors for hurting Skoll.

So instead she looked Kamacite dead in the face as she fired off another burst.

"Avernian Eruption!"

Quote:
Sailor Asmodeus speaks the name of her attack and extends one arm towards a target within six feet, touching the fingers of the other to the inside of her elbow. She sweeps her hand forward, and a burst of flames flies from her hand. It explodes into a fireball with a radius of 8 feet, and enemies caught in it will experience the pain of second-degree burns for 30 seconds, with actual damage to exposed skin possible at player discretion. Asmodeus can use this spell twice per battle.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Corrupt Sailor Lionel
HP: 50
Action: Pivoting to attack Skoll!
Damage: 8 + 5 + 3 = 16 DMG
Location: B6

There was Faustite, a flickering, angry flame agian, and Lionel gave the General a sharp nod.

"Wouldn't dream of it, boss," he drawled, and while there was a lilt of sarcasm in his voice, he certainly didn't intend to ******** up and piss off a literal living fireball. Like, there were stupid moves, and there were magnificently assheaded moves, and angering someone who could light you on fire sounded, to Lionel, very much like the latter.

So, yeah, he was not gonna be pissing off Faustite tonight.

He kept his eyes on Morgan, his pretty first target, and she went down--he winced, a little. She looked...so scared, and upset...ugh, he didn't have time to let himself start sympathizing with a pretty face. He absolutely did not. Not in front of a Generla and an Eternal; not when his head had to be very firmly in the game.

But he also wasn't going to chase after a barely conscious woman and her scared friend. that was unsporting and bullshit, and they weren't supposed to kill, anyway.

So, fine. He turned on his heel, moving to the other group--which included a Senshi that was stupid enough to fling himself at Kamacite.

In protection of the girl they both called Skoll, it seemed.

Oooh, interesting.

Lionel chose her, then, as his target.

See what happened when she started being worried her friends were going to bite her in the back.

"Claws of the Betrayer!" He declared, again.

At least if he burned through all his magic, he'd have caused some ******** chaos.

Quote:
Lionel speaks the name of his attack and extends his arm towards a target, and a spectral red lion leaps forward, passing through the target and leaving them with a stinging sensation and a feeling that any companions with them are going to betray them. The sensation lasts for 30 seconds, and Lionel can use this attack three times per battle.

Viatrix, Guardian Cat of Encke
HP: 20/50
Action: Concerned for her senshi charge and so is therefore leaving with him (moving Sailor Ran as well with Amasis's permission!)
Damage: --
Location: F6 -> E6

Viatrix reached up her paw to pat Ran's copious hair when his attack didn't seem to hit with the same crunch as hers did, but was quickly distracted by a smack of a boomerang to her senshi's body.

She got up on her hind legs and hissed, bearing her claws and probably accidentally putting a bit of them in Ran's shoulder.

"How dare you!" because the blasts from the generator were one thing, but this was directed--

Oh, that didn't look good.

His face looked eerily calm, but he was definitely bleeding more than he should have been, and Viatrix decided that her revenge on the very rude lieutenant could be saved for when she got Ran a bit further away from her. Ideally, she'd rather leave with him, but the Negaverse had them all surrounded in a practical cage-

"Ran, let's go," she urged him back, "we can come back later."

She pulled hard on his collar until his adrenaline carried them both out of immediate range.

* Note: (Article of Resilience -1 damage)
Action:
Damage 1d10 + 7 + 1 (Article of Strength) + 2(3x)/3(2x)/4(1x)/5(1xmetallic bracelet)
Location: D4

She was full of fury; full of pain, and rage, and mourning, and desperation to save a friend, to not lose someone else she loved. She had lost too many of those. Scylla had spent too many nights laughing and talking, enjoying the comfort of Caedus' presence for this to be his end. He deserved better.

You will not harm him! Scylla's head jerked, and the arms that were coming to her aid-- were blocked by a body. "NO!" the same open comms that had shared to all who could hear the volatile cursing, that had broadcast the bold oath of Commander Velyria, now broadcast Scylla's horrified cry as her tentacles struck a target not meant to be struck. As the body that flew was not Lyndin's, throwing him away from her Caedus, but someone innocent to this moment.

Castor was speaking, encouraging Lyndin to stand down, offering him Earth. A cadet (Yddagen) had fired at him. Megrez was attacking, and Scylla could only just... hang on his arm, dumbly now, staring at Caedus.

Let the crystal return to the cauldron.

"You can live on Scylla," she croaked. Her voice was probably too weak to be heard. "You can- you can live there, you can- we have worlds, and senshi, and he can- until he lives out his natural lifespan- you don't need to do this."

This didn't need to happen. None of this. That Velencyan had died for nothing.

Caedus was going to die, for nothing.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn
HP: 14
Action: Attacking Cristobalite
Damage: 9 + 5 + 5 = 19 DMG
Location: F6

Aokigahara's magic flickered out about when the scimitar struck him, slicing open a wound across his shoulder. He hissed in pain, staggering back a step, and re-evaluate his choice to engage with a General. Yomi had followed him indeed, and Aokigahara regretted getting them both engaged with a powerful officer--especially when those awful bursts fo electricity from the generator ravaged through him, taking him to his knees.

But he forced himself to his feet.

Just in time to watch a tableau of horror.

A Negaverse Lieutenant reached into the chest of a battered alien,d esperately trying to defend a cat, and extracted her starseed.

And crushed it to dust.

It was the most hateful, spiteful, monstrous act imaginable, and it made something cold and vicious take hold in Aokigahara's chest. It was the instinct that had been bred into him by his family, and their hateful occupation, turned to perhaps a more moral cause than his father would have expected.

"Yomi," he said, and his attention was no longer on the General--foolishness, perhaps, when he was bloodied and battered--"fall back."

He hoped Yomi listened, because his focus was now entirely on the Lieutenant who had decided, in her infinite foolsih monstrousness, to crush a starseed.

"What," he said, voice as cold as ice as he approached her, "gives you the right to not only murder, but to destroy a soul?"

Distantly, he decided that he would ask the other alien for her deceased friend's name. He would know, because there would be no other piece of the poor dead girl left int he world, except for her final bravery and her awful destruction.

He called on his magic once again, even though he could feel it slipping form his fingers, and he hoped that the spectres it summoned made the fool of a Lieutenant regret. Her. Choices.

Quote:
Aokigahara Squire holds up his lantern, and the flame inside becomes brighter, bathing a six foot radius around him in an eerie purple light. Anyone within the radius, including Aokigahara himself, will hallucinate gruesome ghostly shapes - essentially ghosts that look like they died VERY violently- grabbing on them and trying to get their attention, and hear the sound of ghostly voices begging for help. These pleas will generally be nonspecific - "help me, help me please!" or "avenge me!" or the like, but it is generally fairly unsettling, though exact reactions are up to the player. Aokigahara can channel for up to 30 seconds at this stage.

Super Corrupt Meridiana - Senshi of the Succubus
HP: 50
Action: Confused… knows this is not the time to ask questions but she is clearly outnumbered here after two purifications. Moving to F2
Damage: N/A
Location: E2 -> F2

Why?

There was a saying her grandfather often said when good things came their way; never look a gift horse in the mouth. Yet, here she was doing just that, staring at the Knight (Valhalla) in complete bewilderment after stating they would not hurt her.

It made no sense… Not a single Knight or Senshi had treated her in such a way after one of them had used their magic, so what made them so different? She’d known officers that were punished for less offenses in the Negaverse; it’s what always made her worry about a missed quota, what prompted her to gather extra for fellow corrupts such as Arabia who fell upon hard times after a horrible injury and was unable to gather energy for a short while.

She’d seen what happens to those who try to walk away, not turn traitor, but pursue a life outside of the Negaverse and ignore their duties.

Meridiana had wondered if her actions were truly her own, or if her sphere was manipulating her life. Since her promotion, her reaction to things had changed; chalked it up to the added confidence that she could teleport now and could be a bit more carefree. Approach members of the opposite faction with less worry because if things got bad she didn’t have to worry about running away.

But then that boldness had her unintentionally kidnapping a fellow corrupt after draining his energy; in Meridiana’s defense, however, he had asked for a spar and she simply obliged. Nonetheless, those kinds of actions were not something she’d ever considered to be in her scope of possible deeds.

Could it be that she was not the only one who felt this way? Is that why not one, but now two, other corrupts just purified mid-battle? Right near Queen Laurelite no less?

Meridiana took a step back knowing that she was outnumbered and definitely out-ranked if the Knight chose to go back on his words. Fear filled her eyes as she watched them (Ganymede & Valhalla) but that fear wasn’t necessarily because of them as it was the uncertainty that surrounded her own thoughts amidst a battle of this scale.

She shook her head, took a few more slow steps away then pivoted on a heel and ran towards the nearest generator where she could hide amongst the other chaos signatures in the immediate vicinity.

Engraved Medallion - An antique medallion with some strange, foreign symbols scrawled on the back.
The magic can only be activated and used on the owner of the medallion. The medallion allows the wearer to suppress their own energy signature by one level for up to three hours a day. First stage characters will feel like civilians; while this item has little effect on Mauvians in their cat form, it will suppress their energy signature as if they were a human civilian if activated while they are in their humanoid form. Youma will have the energy signature of a human civilian.

Beira, Senshi of Loneliness
HP: 50/50
Action: Attacking generator in B2 with Gelria
Damage: 4+3+2=9 [1/3 Basic magic used]
Location: D2->B2

No, of course he wasn’t happy. Beira was stressed and anxious and overwhelmed, but he had no choice but to continue to function in these conditions.

Beira felt sympathy for Fae-Fae but he couldn’t focus on her, on whatever was going on elsewhere. One generator had gone off alread and he didn’t want to wait to see what the others could do. He didn’t know what had happened, but he didn’t think it was anything good.

He followed Gelria and attacked the generator with him, although he had far less rage to power his attack. At first, he was quiet–and then, between one kick and the next, he said, “Thank you, Gelria. I’m sorry.”

There was something guilty, something heavy in his voice. He wasn’t mad at Gelria, they were both under a lot of pressure.

He would rather attack a generator than murder someone right now, that’s all.

He’d rather be home more than anything.

When he attacked the generator, he didn’t mean to use his Senshi magic–but then, he’d never been good at controlling it. The cold hit the generator, and spread up his arms, but he kept hitting it.
