Kuruk is headstrong when he wants to be, but he never let's his emotions truly get the best of him -if he can handle it. He was raised by K. Alexandra Knight, fiance to Dr. James L. Howlett. James was a research scientist who went off on a journey to study animal and plant life as well as various areas geographically and culturally depending on the inhabitants cooperation. Kuruk was given to K. as a gift to keep her company and safe after he departed.
Kuruk and his master have a strong bond that stands the test of the time of his life. She raised him to be strong, a true fighter, and he is primed for the ring. He is eager to meet opponents, but also socialize as his master has become more lenient letting him wander as she had grown more comfortable in her surroundings. He will protect K. with his life, if he had to, and he would do the same for friends and allies, so he is one to have on our side. His strength is fearsome, like that of his namesake, Kuruk, "bear," in Pawnee.
