New Arrivals
Kaelin was in bed still asleep, she had been resting very little during the night between the food cravings, then the baby kicking her stomach every thirty minutes. The only time she could sleep was when the baby was sleeping. Her face was mostly hidden by her hair as she laid on her side.
Thom wandered in, the house was for the most part quiet, Surion had come and gone again, and now he wanted to be with Kaelin again. Thom sits on the side of the bed and reaches over brushing a finger through her hair un-hiding her face
Kaelin moved alittle feeling finger running through her hair. Opening her eyes slowly she yawns looking up at Thom giving him a small smiles "Hey...how long was I asleep?"
"Couple hours at least, Surion came and left again while you were sleeping... His dad left too" he says and puts both of his hands in his lap
Sitting up slowly she pushes her hand through her unbraided hair yawning once more "I see...I hope he doing okay..." she winces slightly when the baby kicks at her stomach letting her know it was awake.
"He had a good cry from what I saw, I kinda just stayed out of his way, it didn't feel right to get in the way" he admits
Kaelin frowns shaking her head "I really hope Tinania returns home soon...for his sake.." she winces again then shakes her head "I swear this baby hasn't been like me at all today..."
He frowns and look s at her belly, reaching over and gently running his hand over her belly "I would compare to the last pregnancy I experienced.... but Rain and Jet didn't kick Jazz"
Kaelin smiles alittle then winces again "Well seems we got a baby here who letting us know its there. That must be me within the baby..." she watches his hand then bites her bottom lip as the baby kicks only this time in two different areas.
"You ok Kaelin?" he's glanced up and seen her expression, he felt one kick, but not the other as it wasn't under his hand
Kaelin nods then tries to smile alittle "Yea that one just hurt tis all. I got kicked twice at the same time that all.." she laughs alittle to hide the pain that seem to be building.
He nods "All right, would you like anything to eat? or drink?" he nods his head towards the door, an offer to get her something to eat if she wanted it
Kaelin looks up then smiles alittle "Just water...with my stomach hurting I rather not have to deal with the food not agreeing with me..."
He nods and gets up walking out of the room heading for the kitchen to get her the water she wanted
Resting her body against the wall she looks down at her stomach biting her bottom lip hard as the pain seem to hit her again. She cries out softly shaking her head, was something wrong with the baby?
Thom returned with the water, he'd even put ice in it for her, he was humming a soft content tune as he entered the room
Kaelin looks up at Thom breathing slightly hard "Thom...I think something is wrong..."
"Wrong?" he stops, oh guardians... now what "Uhm..." his nervousness showed as he put the glass down and crawled onto the bed sitting beside her resting his hand on her large belly looking from it to her
She winces again trying to not cry out in pain, but she couldn't help it "The pain won't stop..." panting she shook her head closing her eyes "It feels like someone ripping the lower part of my body apart..."
"Oh guardians.." were they coming? did he have time to get help... oh guardians, he knew he didn't have time to CALL for it.. he jumped off the bed and ran to the door "Anila! get bucket of hot water, a few clothes and towels.. please! fast!" he hollers into the house, he knows she'd one of the most sound in mind out of the bunch of Pae that had been left to care for the place
Kaelin dug her nails into the bed as tears started rolling down her face. She wasn't use to this kind of pain and all she wanted to so at this point was scream. Closing her eyes shut she whimpers biting her bottom lip.
Anila raced into the bedroom holding a bucket of water along with a few of the big towel "Is Kaelin okay Thom? Is it the baby?" she looks over at her sister slightly worried before looking to Thom.
"Yeah, it's the baby, I can't be sure, she's not having hte exact same things happen as Jazz did in the last week or so.. but.. I think they're coming..." he said hurriedly and grabbed a cloth from her and dipped it barely wringing it before hurrying back to Kaelin and using it to try and ease some pain "I don't know what to do, we don't live near anyone, I'm not sure if I can do this on my own or not"
Kaelin keeps panting until she bites down on her lip again, this time causing it to bleed. The tears didn't stop as she shook her head. She just wanted the pain to stop "Thom....my...mother..." she knew her mother was connected to her.
Anila frowns as she looks at Thom, she didn't know what she could do.
"Stay with her" Thom says running from the room, he knew only one way to get ahold of anyone on the isle,
Anila nods then climbing onto the bed she dips the towel into the water again before turning to wipe it carefully across Kaelin's bottom lip "Come on sis everythign going to be okay I promise. Thom going for help..."
Kaelin just simply nodded then started crying again as the pain increased, she wasn't sure if she be able to handle this for much longer.
Thom himself came running back in followed shortly after by a 'whish' sound as not one but two figures appeared, Bel, and Estra, seemed they were both at Bel's house when Ala showed up. Thom looked relieved to see them though very nervous too as he crawled up on the other side of Kaelin
Bel moves closer and nods and heads to the pule of linens Anila brought
Estra sighs and pulls the cords that holds her corset closed. she drops that to one side and then her gown pulled over her head, it's long sleeves would be cumbersome, she was left in her bathing suit, as she had planned on swiming that day
Kaelin opens her eyes alittle she tries to smile as she spoke softly "Hey mum...hi grandma..." she laughs alittle which only caused her to whimper as another wave of pain hit her.
Anila looks up then steps away letting the two elder do what they had to. She wasn't all that sure what to do and she didn't want to get in the way.
Bel shook her head to Anila 'stay with her give her your support' she says in the girl's mind
Estra sat on the end of hte bed "Things seem to be different these days, Pae'il young are being born not as an egg but a livebirth, Be strong Kaelin" she says and then moves to check her progress
Thom didn't need to hear that, it only made him panic more, and he clung to one of Kaelin's hands hoping to reassure both her AND him
Anila eyes widen slightly as she looked toward Bel. She knew that the elder didn't speak outloud yet she heard her clear as day. Shaking her head she walks over then watches her sister fdor a moment. Holding her hand out alittle near her face she creates a small gust of wind in hopes of keeping her cool.
Kaelin's body was ready for the coming baby, it had been ready for awhile nod. Kaelin just really didn't knwo what she had to do so she was just baring with the pain "Mum can't you stop the pain?"
"No Kaelin, I can't, I had to endure pain when you were born too, don't worry it'll be over soon" Bel tried to reassure her daughter
Estra smiled "Kaelin I need you to push hun, focus your mind on pushing... internally"
Kaelin nods closing her eyes as she squeezes Thom's hand. Forcing herself to calm she starts pushing biting her bottom lip as what sounds like a growl past her lips.
Anila watches her sister making note to herself that she was never ever going to have kids if this was the pain she had to go through. Controling the pain she looks to Thom hoping he was okay.
Bel kept herself busy quietly, listening to all the thoughts in the room as she worked
Thom bit his lip squeezing her hand gently, he was there for her, simple as that
Estra nods and smiles "A breath and then another.."
Nodding Kaelin breaths in a deep breath before baring back down. Her teeth were clenching tightly as she tried not to scream. This was hurting her badly and at this point she wanted nothing more then to end the pain.
Anila continues to watch as she fans her sister, she kept herself focus so she didn't have to think about all the pain Kaelin was going through.
Estra pulls one squalling babe from between Kaelin's legs giving hte new mother a moment to relax.
Bel takes the baby wrapping it up and washing it
Thom, had been watching, his eyes grew wide, and then rolled back and he fainted
Anila seem to pale herself then closed her eyes, yea she was never having kids. Not after seeing this. Nope never ever would she let this happen to her.
Kaelin falls back breathing rather quickly then cries out as she feels the pain still "Mommy, the pain not stopping..." the pain was the same before the first child was born.
Bel sighed seeing Thom fall over and then turned to her daughter "it'll be ok Kaelin" she says softly and looks at her own mother holding hte slowly calming little boy.
Estra looks at Kaelin "You aren't done Kaelin, push again please" she says gently and reassuryingly
Kaelin frowns slightly then nodding she bares down once more refusing to let the scream escape her lips as she shut her eyes close. She seem to pale alittle but it wasn't anything to worry about.
Anila looked over at the little boy in Bel's arms watching him. So that little guy caused all the trouble. She turned back looking at her sister frowning before shaking her head. This just wasn't something she knew she never understand.
Estra encouraged her granddaughter, she was doing so well
Bel looked to Anila 'You may yet change your mind Anila' she speaks to Anila's thoughts
Anila looked at Bel biting her bottom lip, she knew she did it again. She didn't know how but she knew she spoke to her again. Shaking her head she doesn't even want to figure it out knowing she didn't have the chance to right now. Looking back at Kaelin she continue to keep her sister cool.
Stopping for a moment Kaelin breaths in slowly catching her breath before she pushes even harder then before. She wanted this pain over with just so she could relax again. Opening her eyes she watched her grandmother as she continue to bare down.
Estra smiled widely as he second child was born. she climbed from the bed with it trading Bel for the cleaned up little boy "You have a pair of sons Kaelin" she says softly
Bel chuckles softly as she works 'I can hear your thoughts Anila' she whispers in Anila's mind
Kaelin's body seem to relax almost instantly as she slumps back against the wall. She was breathing still alittle hard, but not like before. A smile forms across her lips as she watches her family.
Anila eyes widen before she blushes shaking her head. Looking at the little boys she giggles then smiles to Kaelin "There so pretty Kae.." she turns to look back at the babies.
Kaelin smiles even more before looking down towards her passed out lover, shaking her head alittle she closes her eyes glad that the pain had finally stopped.
"I think we will leave you with your new family" Estra says as Bel gets up bringing the other rainbow baby over and setting it between Kaelin and Thom, and Estra offered Kaelin the other child
Kaelin smiles taking her son looking down at him. Smiling she looks up at her grandmother nodding "Thank you grandma...and thank you mum. For everything..." she turns looking at her other son. She couldn't help it as a tear ran down her face, but it was a happy tear.
Anila keeps watching the little ones before she looked at Thom. Frowning she shakes him alittle "Thom wake up, your sons are born. You can't sleep your silly.."
The pair of elders smile and nod and then both whish back to the isle
Thom starts "Huh? What?"
Anila shakes her head then looks at Kaelin "I'll be in the kitchen, call if you need anything okay?" with a nod she slips from the room to leave the proud parents alone.
Kaelin watches her sister leave then turns to look at Thom laughing alittle "Thom...we have twin boys..." she leans over kissing his cheek lightly then looks down at her other son watching him.
Thom looked at what she was showing and a smile spread across his lips, "What should we name them?"
Kaelin looks down at her two sons tilting her head to the side alittle, she had been thinking and researching this since she found out. She wanted something that would fit who they were.
Looking to the one in her arms she smiles "How about this little guy be named Amandil, and his brother..." she takes her hand placing it in the little boy small hand "We call him Melanion..." she looks at Thom smiling "They both mean colorful rainbow child...."
"Perfect" he leans over and kisses her forehead "Now lets have a rest as a family" he says and lays his head down on the pillow a hand lightly on one of his sons
Kaelin couldn't help but agree with what Thom said, he body was demanding it of her. Laying her other son next to his brother she runs her finger along his small face then leans down kissing each sons forehead.
Laying down resting her head on the pillow, she watches both her sons then looks at Thom mouthing the words I love you before closing her eyes. She would figure out later how to fix up the room for the new addition. For now she let her body do what it wanted. Within moments of closing her eyes she seem to fall asleep.
He watched her for a few then he too joined her in slumber
