Kaelin look back as she pulled her cloak alittle closes to her body. She mostly wanted to get some fresh air while her sons were sleeping. Stepping out of Dragnid forest she pulls her hood off her head brushing her long has back.
Looking back at the forest she shakes her head, she had only be living with Rath for awhile now, but already she didn't fear the forest like she knew she should. She knew how to get through without being detected by the creatures.
Heading towards the bridge she stops looking down at the water. She had been here a few times, just watching the little naiad Nerinda swim. She didn't really bug the baby, she just watch her remembering what Dil was like at that age.
Sighing she looks up at the sky deep in thought for a moment.

Victor had been on the outskirts of Dragnid, mainly just checking to see if there was anything worth hunting there. Of course, as it was most evenings, there was very slim pickings. Victor gave up, and noticed a hooded figure leaving the forest.
When the hood was pulled back he smiled, he knew that person, knew her well, so he followed her to the bridge, and he coughed slightly.
"So, I see you've taken up residence in Dragnid? Commendable, but foolish, what of your kids?"

Looking over Kaelin smiles before looking back towards the forest "They live within the forest also." looking back at Victor she nods "How is your nose? Did it heal properly?" she felt bad which cause her to avoid her own brother for awhile.
She didn't to punch him, but she knew she grew from their last encounter. She was more willing to admit she care deeply for Rath. She wasn't alittle mouse anymore, she was actually more herself before she was broken by Thom leaving.

Victor chuckled and rubbed it. "It did alright," He chuckled bowing his head. "Oh? Are you sure they're safe?" He eyed the forest. "There are things in there that can climb trees and dig holes... So I hope you have them somewhere safe..."
He didn't even go into what might be in some of the ponds and bogs, not even he ventured there, he didnt' dare too, mainly because he'd seen one of the larger elk get grabbed by SOMETHING... it'd been covered in muck, and he didn't like to think about it.
"So how are you doing?"

Chuckling she looks back down at the water "Yea I'm sure, Rath been helping me take care and watch them so they don't venture away from the home." shrugging she didn't even think about that her brother wouldn't knwo who Rath was. "I'm doing fine though, actually better then fine. I'm doing great." looking back at him she turns so she leaning against the ledge.

Victor's face was full of confusion. "Rath?" He asked a brow going up a few inches. "Who's this Rath... fellow..." He assumed he was a fellow, he didn't think it would have been a stretch to wonder if his sister had switched teams, but the name Rath was just kida... a guy name.

Kaelin pause for a moment before she blush figuring it out that she just basically spilled the beans. Looking away she glances at the water "Um well Rath he um...that guy I told you about the last time I saw you. We're um...sorta..seeing eachother." looking back at him she was preparing herself to hear him gloat.
Not that she didn't mind, he did earn it, and had the right in her eyes. It made things even for the punch she landed to his nose.

Victor laughed, it was a mirthful laugh, a strange thing to issue from the throat of the pae. He laughed and laughed, finally having to clutch his sides closing his eyes as hot tears fell from his eyes as he laughed, before finally he was on his knees, laughing still until finally he was silenced by the need to breath.
He was truely tickled, truely! He'd been right, that was not beyond reason, he usually was in certain situations. Finally he worked his way back to his feet and he smiled, a geniune smile, again another strange sight. "Yes, yes... how interesting..." He said, not allowing himself to dance around and point the finger and say I told you so.
That would have been beating the dead horse to water and trying to make it drink.

Kaelin eyes widen as she saw her brother not only burst into laughter, but feel to his knees. Clenching her fist she makes a face knowing it was his way of prooving his was right. Shaking her head she chuckles "You know just saying I told you so would have been then laughing you a** off at me." pushing her hair away from her face she shrugs then tilts her head "So you really to starting questioning me or you going to continue to laugh?"
She was happy he seem happy for her, in his own strange little way. It meant she chosen well.

Victor chuckled and shook his head. "No, no, I'm done laughing for now... So, this Rath fellow, I take it he is good with children, since you have two," he bowed his head a little, thinking that this would have to be so, else she would not be doing as well or be as comfrotable with leaving the children behind.

Nodding Kaelin looks up at the sky "He perfect with them, he makes them both laugh and smile. Which is very hard to do. He protect them like their his own kids. He great, it actually scared me at first at how well he cared for us. But after he showed me that he wanted me around everything just feell into place. " looking back down at him she smiles alittle "Thank you for making me understand that I needed to give my heart another chance Vic." walking over to him she gives his cheek a kiss before pulling back to smile.

Victor chuckled and shook his head. "You made the descision Kae, not me, I just suggested it," Modesty did not usually become Victor, but at this moment in time he wasn't really in the mood to be as ascribic as usual.
Smiling he bowed his head a little and then looked up at the sky. "That's a good thing then, you made the right choice, and I'm happy for you." While his voice lacked conviction he was speaking truth. Victor had never really been one to be emotionally outpouring, save to one person, and that one person was in the woods behind them, still not ready.
Time was not on Victor's side, or at least, that's how he felt. He missed Mo dearly, but he would stick true to his word. He would wait, and he would be there when Mo was ready to come out...

Kaelin watches Victor for a moment before she nods "Yea I think I have, I shouldn't be so scared to just allow myself to feel again. Its taking me time but I think I'm at the point where I'm myself again." looking away she looks over at the forest.
Shefelt like she never lost herself, that what it was. The moment Thom left her she felt lost, now she knew what she wanted in life. Shaking her head she watches Victor from the corner of her eye "How Mo?"

"From what I hear from our daughter he's doing well," Victor smiled as he spoke of Dru. Dru was his favorite child, made morso now by her ability to concoct poisions from the various plants in Dragnid.
"She's a regular pit-viper, I shall have to check on her progress, since I did ask her to mix me some poisions, so that I might..." He eyed his sister, knowing that she had that squemish sentment known as MORALS, "Better... my chances of scoring a kill on certain creatures in Dragnid."
Not a complete lie, but close enough.

Making a face Kaelin nods "That good to hear, and its even better to hear that your daughter is doing so well. I should have my boys meet her. They need to get out and meet others, they seem to want to stay close to eachother." sighing she looks down at the water.
She knew why they did that, they were both scared they would lose eachother again if they left one another side. Dil was the worse one, he would start crying if Mel left him alone for even five minutes.
