Kaelin was enjoying the first day by herself. She love her sons but every once in awhile a mother needed time to herself. Laying on the towel at the beach her eyes were closed as well as hidden by her unbraided hair.
She was mostly kept to herself now since when she wasn't with her sons. She seem distance from those who care about her as she was trying to figure out her life again.
Sighing she rolls over her lay on her stomach, she just needed to forget about everyone but her sons. They were her life now, love was just something she didn't need anymore.

Rath had been skittering through the forest and the trees, having fun just running and chasing things. He was also grabbing up some red tasteys for later, they made for good num nums when his tummy growled.
Rath swung by his ankles on a tree arm and caught a smell on the wind. It was a familiar smell, but he couldn't remember what it was. Wriggling his nose, he followed where it came from, jumping from tree to tree. Rath finally landed on an arm of a tree beside a big wet pile.
Looking down, he saw one of the others, it looked bigger than him and looked like it was sleeping. Rath slid lower down the tree arm to get a closer look, then suddenly..
*SNAP*
" Eeeeeee!"
Rath went falling, and splatted into the big wet pile with a splash.

Screaming as the cold water not only splashed her, but soaked her she sat up sputtering as she looks around trying to figure out who was mean enough to do such an aweful thing.
Sitting up she frowns pushing her hair from her face, she just wanted a day where she didn't have to worry about anything. Was this so hard to ask?

Rath blinked as the world suddenly got wet and weird, oh yeah, he fell in the big wet pile. Realising which way was up, he grabbed his pokey stick and kicked his feet. Breaking through the top, he spluttered and then wondered why he couldn't see, all he could see was black. Rath then realised his fur was covering his face, and tried to pull it away.
There he could see again. and could see where he was. It was then he noticed Kaelin on the edge looking angry and wet. Rath pouted and sank a little in the water, as if trying to hide.

Kaelin glances over just in time to see someone duck back under the water. Frowning she stands walking towards the water, she was already soak so there was no point in not going after the person.
Stepping a couple inches out into the water she glances around as she push her hair from her face "You know hiding is rude!! So unless you want me to come after you I advise you to show yourself. I'll go easy on you if you do." her wings flutter behind her as she continues to look around.

Rath poked his head above the water and flicked his ears , getting the wet off it. He didn't mean to splash, he fell, that's different, but he was sorry and looked it.
Rath decided maybe a present would help, and so he looked in his pouch, and pulled out a small handfull of red tasteys he got in the tree place and offered them to Kaelin.

Kaelin looks at Rath trying to remain mad, but she couldn't help it. He look so cute and the offer just made her smile. Shaking her head she holds her hand out "Are you okay Rath? That splash sounded like it hurt more then anything."
Pushing her long hair away from her face she giggles "Or were you just trying to get my attention?" she actually was happy to see Rath. he seem to always make her smile when she needed it the most and right now she could really use it.

Rath smiled a little bit cheekly and handed the present over before walking up out of the wet stuff and then shaking like a fuzzy to get the wet off him. Pulling the fur from his face, Rath pointing to the tree, then explained to Kaelin how he smelled her by sniffing at her, thern making a walking thing with his fingers, and how it brok and he fell.

Watching him explain she smiles then pokes lightly at his nose as she sat back down on her towel "I see, wow looks like you had some fun." pulling her hair to the side she braids it just so it wouldn't get messy later.
Leaning back on her elbows she looks up at him "I moved up to the isle. I live at the Headquarters right now until I'm able to find my own home. So beside falling into the lake what else have you been up to?" she knew she had miss alot while living off the isle.
But now she was trying to put the past behind her and move on. She needed to just get her life back in order

Rath scratched his head fro a moment and walked over towards Kaelin, taking a sit on the ground beside Kaelin. It had no rest place? Rath rubbed his chin and thought for a moment, before grabbing his pointy stick.
He started drawing on the ground, and drew a picture of where he went to sleep, and then himself. With that, he showed Kaelin, pointing at his sleep spot, and then himself, and drew a line from his picture to the sleep spot. After that he dre Kaelin, and pointed at it, then drew aline from Kaelin to his sleep spot.
Rath looked up and grinned, thinking it was the best idea ever.

Kaelin tilts her head watching Rath as he drew on the ground. After seeing the whoel drawing she shakes her head smiling "Aww Rath, thank you, but I don't want to bug you. Its alright really, I'll be fine." blushing she looks away looking down at the sand.
A long time ago this would have been simple, but after Thom everything change. She didn't want to in anyway corrupt Rath. She wanted to have fun and enjoy life.

Rath frowned and pouted big time, Kaelin thought his idea was bad? How bad could his idea be? Rath, then crawled over and wrapped his arms around Kaelin and rested his chin on her shoulder, looking at it with sad eyes. He just wanted a nice place for Kaelin to rest.

Glancing at him she couldn't help but melt at the pout. Placing her hands on top of his she looks away nodding "Alright I'll stay with you, but only for a few days. I'm going to have to find a place for me and my sons. I don't want to be a bother to you." turning slightly in his arms she smiles at him poking his lips "So no frown?"

Rath's face lit up into a huge grin, and then he hugged Kaelin tight. Seeing it poke his mouth, he grinned and nipped at Kaelin's finger playfully. This was going to be fun, but wait, did Kaelin mention the big sky shiney? That was coming too?
Rath looked up at it and squinted, then pointed up at it and looked at Kaelin questionly.

Kaelin pulls her finger back laughing alittle before she watches him glance towards the sun. Looking back at him she arches a brow lightly before it comes to her. Smiling she shakes her head "No not that sun, I meant sons as in my two little boys." she falls quiet trying to think of how to explain this.
With a wave of her hand an image of her sons apear that only Rath is able to see. They were laughing and running around . Turning she looks at rath "These two are Mel and Dil. They are my children, and all I have left." she looks away trying to mask the sadness as quickly as possiable.
