Rath was outside his home, cutting up a tree, he was organising enough supplies to make his home bigger. He been at it for days, collecting bone, timber and skins to extend his home with a few extra rooms. He had a bigger family now, well a family, and more coming on the way.
Wiping his sweaty brow, Rath took a breath and then went back to swinging his axe, chopping the ree into timber.

Kaelin was laying in bed sleeping like she been during most of the past few days. Her body was always tired now and she just felt really sore. Tossing slightly she winces as she felt a kick to her stomach, what she wouldn't give for one good rest. Opening her eyes she sighs as she push her hair from her face.
Mel was busy helping his step father cut some trees down, with the new babies it meant they need room. So he wanted as much room as possiable, after all he needed some space from his twin and the crying babies.
Dil was in the house making some tea for his mother, he basically did the taking care of her when his stepfather couldn't. Glancing over he moves over to the bed smiling slightly. She look better then a few days ago so that was a good sign.

Rath looked over the house again, he figured out what needed done in his head, so there was no drawn out plans. He almost had the frame up, he just needed to get it stable and devided into three section, one each for the boys and one to fit the baby in.
Using a sandy rock, Rath sanded back the log, trying to remove splinters and cracks. He was usng crude impliments to do the work, he made the axes himself after all. It was just how he was, he liked being independant. Calling Mel over, Rath got him to give him a hand carrying the next piece over and to held secure it to the frame.

Mel was glad he was able to help his stepfather out, holding the piece in place he looks up at Rath nodding alittle "You seem excited by the thought of the baby coming." still be rather young he didn't understand what it was like to have a child, so to him it was confusing.
Sitting up alittle Kaelin rested her head against the wall rubbing at her belly, she hated feeling useless. She wanted to be out there helping the boys. Glancing over at Dil she smiles "Sweetie, could you get Rath for me?" she just wanted his company for a few minutes.
Nodding Dil got up brushing his jeans off before she move towards the door. Glancing back at his mother he shook his head before looking back outside "Hey Rath, my mum wants to see you." leaning against the wall he frows as his twin arches a brow at him. Placing his hand on the pendant around his neck he continie to glare at his twin.

Rath held the rope with his teeth and pulled it tight as he made a tight knot, and then another one, holding the plank in place. Giving it a test nudge and fiding it not going anywhere, Rath grinned then looked down at Mel.
" Rath no have family, now have one and making family bigger. Rath very hapy and excited, also scared, but tis okay. This just all new to Rath"
Rath blinked and his ears perked as he heard his name and saw Dil calling for him. Rath smiled and nodded and backflipped off the frame and jogged his way inside. Seeing Kaelin he smiled and sat down beside her.
" Kaelin love okay? need Rath get anything?"

Stepping away from the house Dil rolled his eyes alittle before he look at Mel "I don't get you. What about our father, do you think he would like the fact that mom pregnant with another man's child?" his wings folded around his body before he stumble backwards from Mel's push.
Brushing his hands off Mel spat at his brother "He the one who walk away from us, not us. So you know what I don't care, couldn't you atleast be happy? Mum happy and Rath is great. Get over yourself. If mum ends up getting stressed out because she thinks your unhappy, I'll kick your a**." he ball one fist up just to make a point.
Kaelin shakes her head as she waps her arms around Rath's neck "No I just wanted to see you that is all. Is it a bad thing that I have become so clingy?" she blushes slightly as she lays her head on his shoulder. When he was around she felt happy and relax. Kissing his cheek she close her eyes just enjoying the closeness.

Rath's ears perked as he heard the ruckus outside. He wondered if Dil didn't like him, if Dil wasn't happy. He thought he better have a talk to Dil when he went back outside. For now he smiled at Kaelin and kissed her forehead, nuzzling her with a pudd ans he reached down and stroked her tummy. He was still amazed at it all, that he was actually going to have a baby.
" Rath love when Kaelin clingy, makes Rath feel loved and wanted"

Dil crossed his arms sitting on the ground for a moment before glancing back up at his twin "Least I'm not turning my back on our father. Your sad you know that. You were with him most our life and now your turning your back on him because someone comes along who does everything you do. Your weak." turning away he yelps as he hits the ground hard.
Mel was on top of his twins hiting him hard in the stomach which cause his twin to scream "Take it back you coward take every ******** word back!!!" needless to say the boy carry the same gene as his mother did. The scary temper that was apart of his bloodline. He was growling as he kept hitting his twin.
Kaelin eyes snap open in shock from the scream, moving as fast as she could she went to the door only to pale at the sight of her boys fighting. She wasn't sure what she should do. Covering her mouth her eyes filled with tears "STOP IT!!!"

Rath saw the twins scuffling and bolted upright. Running to the door he slipped out like a grezed eel and pounced at the pair of the. Rath grabbed them both, one with his arms and one with his legs and held them apart while he growled.
" No more, no more fighting. Dil need understand, Mel not turning back on, only trying to continue life, Mel just as sad father gone and trying to make do with life Mel has now. Mel, Dil liked Dil's old life, life where Dil felt complete. Now Rath here and not father, though Rath make Dil mother happy, Rath still not Dil father."
Rath sighed and held them both from stuggling, he wasn't about to let them go till they listened.
" Rath not father no, but want to be. Rath know not smart as father or maybe not fun as. But father go away, and Rath trying best to give Mell and Dil father again. Rath even make new rooms for both. rath even have presents hiding away for both, wanted to show how much Rath like having Mel and Dil around. Now if Rath let go, stop fighting?"

Dil push away from Rath then trun away from him. Bending down he grab the blade that hit the ground "Whatever I'm going for a walk. Don't wait up." with that he ran from the home heading inot the forest. He didn't where he went, he knew the place pretty well by now. Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth he sighs as he stops leaning against a tree.
Mel frowns slightly before shaking his head "He just doesn't get it, I don't know why he cares so much anyways. Dad left him when he took me. You would think he be angry about that, but no he more angry at the fact that everything changing." rubbing at his knuckles he knew they would be swollen later.
Kaelin couldn't speak at first as she watch Dil run off. Trembling she shook her head "That why he angry, Dil hates changes. He hates them because when things change they ended up bad in the end." a single tear ran down her face before she shook her head "This is all my fault."

Rath growled and shook his head, watching the child walk away. How could someone be so cold to their mother. Rath never had a mother, he would have loved one, specially someone as sweet and kind as Kaelin. Rath crawled over to her an wrapped his arms around her tightly, brushing the tear from her cheek. Kaelin had cried enough tears of sadness in front of him, he didn't want her to cry anymore.
" Kaelin no cry, boy just need time to self. Rath give him time then go talk to him kay? Dil need to trust Rath, Dil and Rath need talk"

Turning in Rath's arms she was trembling, but just being in Rath's arms was calming her down already. Wrapping her arms around his neck she hid her face against his neck. She hated this feeling of being helpless, then being emotional didn't help.
Mel was furious but he was trying to hide it. He was pissed at his twin for being such a baby. Life was alwats going to change on him, he couldn't just stop it. Looking towards the direction his twin went he looks away. He let him have his space.

Rath held Kaelin tight and ran his fingers through her hair. He was sorry everyone was feeling so sad, he decided to change the mood a little. Slipping his hand down to hold Kaelins hand, he motioned to Mel to go inside as he led them both to the door.
" Come inside both you two. Rath wants to have dinner with his family"

Kaelin looks up at Rath for a moment before she nods looking toward her other son. Laying her head on Rath's shoulder she allows him to usher her back intot he home. Her face was mostly hidden as she thought of her other son.
Mel didn't say anything, she just went into the home and to his bed to lay down. He was still furious and wanted to scream at his twin, instead he just kept to himself trying to calm down.
Dil after getting far away as he can sat down by a tree. He was angry at himself, yet he was also angry at him mother and twin. He didn't understand how they both could just accept the changes as if it was nothing. Sighing he just closed his eyes trying to calm himself down.

Rath stroked his fingers through Kaelins hair, trying to calm her down. He sighed, he wished everyone could be happy, he wondered if he was at fault for the family fighting, he never wanted to break them apart.
Rath sat Kaelin down and stoked the fire up some more, adding some wood to it. Setting the pot over the fire, Rath began to dice vegetables and meat, adding it into the water to start cooking.
He looked at the smoke hole in the roof and hoped maybe the smell might drift to Dil and make him hungry enough to come home.
