Uncert with itemsFanart: N/A Obtained through: Gift from Puppy. <333 Colored by: Meep He's a bit of a smaller lion and with a coat reminiscent of a prey animal, and he's been mistaken as such on more than one occasion. It just so happens that the worse case of mistaken identity was by a small hunting party of red lions larger than him. [but then again, what adults aren't?] Their assault left him badly wounded, but once they realized their mistake, they simply abandoned him without another word. He's a little snappish and nervous around new lions, somewhat smart-aleky and immature, but as he grows more comfortable around those he's met, he calms down and even quiets. He's very content in the swamplands with his mate Kimama and a recent litter. He's grown to be quite kind and helpful to anyone needing assistance.

Hyun, as a first time mother and not quite the most mature in terms of parenting, lost him soon after his delivery, just old enough to fend for himself. While she looked for him tirelessly, he felt abandoned, and thrown away. He holds a great hatred for his mother, and someday aspires to revenge. But apart from that, he's a very sweet lion. He's friendly and funny, though when the time calls for it, he's deadly serious. His struggle for survival has made him practical. As a part of his character, he resents happy families, though he may not show it to their faces.

Colored by: Meep For such a young cub to know of his death at such an early age, Can is quite at ease with the idea, and has come to terms with it. He doesn't see his life as a waste of time or resent the pride's practices, instead, he wants to make the most of what time he has. He's a sweet cub, and holds great respect for all members of the pride. However, he's not quick to attach himself and develop relationships.
He's pondered leaving the pride and saving his own life, but as he was raised in the M'T, it's very hard for him to really flesh out the idea. He would love to have cubs with a very dark-coated female so they would have little to no chance of being sacrifices as well, and when his time comes, he could bring honor to the children. However, if any were pale or sacrifice material, he'd send them out of the pride without another thought, not being able to stand the thought of his children being killed.A former lion sacrifice for a pride since disbanded, he spent his whole life waiting to die for his pride. Now he doesn't quite know what to do with himself. He needs a pride and a rank that he can devote himself and give his life to that, instead.

Baako in her youth was a reckless sort of lioness, thinking her cocky attitude was a sign of courage. She roamed far and wide, and found herself in many a perilous situation that she only just managed to escape. This same mindset is what led her to her first 'true love', but after lying with him for the first time, the next morning he was never seen again. Disheartened, but still the same lioness, she tried to shrug the incident from her shoulders. However, all but one of Baako first litter of cubs didn't manage to enter the world, the sole survivor later killed by predators when she turned her back to hunt. She took it as a sign from the gods that she had displeased them. It shook her world to the core, and she became an insomniac, her wanderings no longer geared towards adventure, but simply the roaming of a cubless mother. It was sheer luck for her that she stumbled upon and joined the Aali'makabila, finding a place to settle and try to restart her life, but her past still haunts her. She's a bit of a zealot, particularly in the non-lion tradition as she will never be sure of what took her only cub. Furthermore, she took the position of Mwindaji rather than Mzazi because she isn't confident she's repaid whatever debt the gods took her cubs for, and is wary of any possibility to make another mistake. Before it disbanded, she had a fling & a new litter of cubs, which all survived to adulthood and now live lives of their own. She still felt her life was empty, however, and her roaming brought her to the Ela, and missing life in a pride, she joined during the tree ceremony. She warms up slowly to others, but is a loyal and loving lioness.
