
Everything was falling nicely into place, minus the fact that he wanted to slit Uumi's throat and just leave him somewhere to choke in the pool of his own blood. Still, his daughter would never allow him to harm her mate in such a manner no matter how big of a jerk he was. The elder sighed and shook his head slightly, moving through the Kusini lands away from the den sights and toward the watering hole most south in the lands.
Soon Syeira would take the place as ruler of the lands, Uumi at her side regardless of who liked or disliked it. Denahi was finally home, where he belonged with his family. He would be a fine elder, Asi could only hope. As for many of his other children he was unsure, Kenai was fine in the lands. So out of all of his children he could only be sure of three of them, and had no clue where any of the others were. Tamu had long since left the pride, he had not returned though he'd been supposed to. Asi could only pray for him son's safety, as he prayed for his twin daughters' safety and all of his children that had magically seemed to disappear.
He sighed softly and shook his head as he moved to the edge of the murky waters, leaning down to drink. He wished all of his family had stayed closer, it would make his heart feel much more at ease.
