History: Taabu was born to Syeira when she was only an adolescent, and at the time his father was no where to be seen. As a cub, he was sickly like his father, but grew out of it as an adult. After his father came to live in the Kusini lands, he realized that his parents were not very happy together. He ran away with his younger uncle, Kenai, in an attempt to bring his parents together in the search for him. Amazingly, it worked, and by the time they all returned home, he had six younger siblings. On his journeys while waiting for his mother and father, he met Nyunya – a very snappy little female. In his adolescence, Nyunya gave birth to four cubs, which sealed their fate as mates. When their cubs were mere Juves, however, he and one of his sons left with his mother to go on a training journey. When they returned, Nyunya welcomed them with open paws. The family lived with little drama since that point, and Nyunya and Taabu's total of cubs grew to an outstanding fourteen.
One fateful day, however, Nyunya disappeared. Taabu left his family behind and went on a journey to search for her, hoping that she had simply gotten lost. The farther he went, the more apparent it became that he would never find her. He eventually ended up in the Unity Walker's pride, broken hearted and sick, where a gentle lioness cared for him. One thing led to another, and he was once again the proud father of three. Though he could not leave his pride or his family in the Kusini, he vowed to be the best father and mate to Shula and his new cubs that he could be, and periodically makes journeys to the jungle pride.
