Uumi was beginning to grow bored with the whole being home affair, but he couldn't leave until Sye felt it necissary. Who knew how long that would take? He was finally an adult, at least in physical appearance. His mane had filled out fully in the last week or so, and his already lanky body had shot up a bit more. Which was very evident when he was around Sye recently, since he was bigger than her again.

He shifted a little, lounging on his favorite spot of pride rock. Right close to the edge, his front paws dangling over just a bit today. His tail was flicking carefully back and forth and his crimson eyes were flickering around the sky. So much had changed since he'd left home, even if only a little.

Man it seemed Denahi was reacquanting himselves with those lions who he hadn't seen since cubhood. First it had been Rehani those many months ago, then the copperish one known as Ta'Ziyan. Who was next? Some part of his family in which he hadn't visited? Exactly correct. Moving slowly through the pridelands as he caught the scent of an oh so familiar being, the scarred form of the former prince gazed for his sister, as well as his little nephew.

By his side, he mananged to drag out his daughter to show her bits and pieces of the land her mother had yet to show her. But this didn't mean Baridi considered the older male her father. If she were to interpret it, he's just...some sort of guardian? Not father, nowhere near a father figure.

Blue eyes narrowed as he caught sight of the black mane which belonged to Uumi. A low snarl left his maw, causing Bari to gaze up a tthe red lion. "I know him~" She said proudly, smirking slightly at the little cub that was near them. "But they're rogues I bet." She scoffed, turning her head away slightly as Denahi moved up to the three lions before him.

It would be funny once Bari was fed the knowledge about what everyone around her truly was, wouldn't it? His ears flicked back and his body didn't even tense as Sye leaned into him, laying down. It was probably a first with any other lion, he only let Kiuma near to him with tensed muscles. But yes, Sye had managed to break that barrier, slowly but surely. Let's just hope nothing ever happens to put it back up. At her words he let a careful, guarded, purr rumble in his throat. He leaned into her slightly, eyes flicking away from the great expanse of blue.

"That's a good idea." He murmered, lightly nuzzling into her. Luckily no one was around, because Uumi probably wouldn't do that if they were. Of course, he coudn't smell Denahi all the way down there, so he didn't know that they were being watched. (-just laughes at this-) Though he didn't fancy having to put up with her parents so much, maybe he could sneak away for the return welcome, or whatever.

Also something that was bothering Uumi was the lack of Sye's younger brother, wasn't he supposed to be heir or something? Uumi didn't think he'd exchanged more than three words with him, and that was probably when he and Kiuma had first gotten there. Well, it's not like he wanted to spend time with her siblings. Just curious, was all. "Plus we wouldn't want Taabu getting too attached here."

So that was his sister, nephew and stupid brother in law. He rolled his eyes, almost sneering at Taabu as he called back to his mother. He remained silent however. No use on wasting his words from so far away right? The charcoal hunter wasn't in the mood for a yelling match at the moment. "What are you doing here," His large form questioned, eyeing each lion before him with slight disgust. He'd came to the Pridelands to be away from his family. Why were they here now?

His eyes slowly narrowed on the form of Taabu. Never did he really come to like the small boy, probably because he despised Uumikaji in general.

Bari's maw twitched. "Uncle Denahi? You related to him?" The mocha female asked from beside, growling as the small Kusini cub stood between Denahi the others. She had acquired her father's temper when it came to meeting others, which you could tell from a mile who she'd belong to.

With a curt movement, the pridelander female pounced Taabu, hissing at him, but nothing more.

Oh good, tomorrow would be a great time to leave! He'd just tell his mother and then they could go, he'd be quite thrilled about it. He never found out what they might have been able to do, as suddenly Taabu's voice was cutting through the air. Uumi growled slightly, more to himself than anything. Did Taabu have to call Sye to see every new thing he found?

He dragged himself up, moving toward Sye and his cub, before slowing. Ah, well. One way to ruin this trip, Denahi showing up. "Am I not allowed to visit my own home, Denahi?" He said slowly, his voice cold. Uumi's eyes flashed angrily as his niece suddenly pounced on his son, he was growing rather protective of him. He took a few steps forward, snarling slightly but not go farther. "Get off of him." He ordered, but his eyes were on Denahi, furious. His tail was lashing behind him. Was this how the a*****e taught his children to act?

"Should you ever consider this a home when you no longer live here anymore?" The male asked boredly, flicking his tail against the ground softly. Denahi sent a cheeky grin over to Sye. "I know, I thought it was too," He snickered, being an a** like he usually was. He shrugged, "Do you think I care what Mother's heartbreak was or wasn't wasted on? For all I care, she is no longer a part of my life, just as most of the lions down in those lands are." He snorted.

...What the hell was a Bibi? "..er...right." He rolled his eyes at the nephew, also not moving in attempt to stop Bari's pounce. After all, the little girl wouldn't listen to him. Best let it get out of their systems right? "I have no reason to stop her," He shrugged at Sye.

As Taabu manuevered himself, Bari found herself away from the other cub, who had promptly moved back to his parents. The small form made a scoff, flicking her tail up as she moved back towards Denahi, sitting a few feet away from him.

Uumi's eyes flashed more. "I'm not exactly like you, Denahi. I don't forget my roots just because someone actually cares about me where I travel to." He was implying that his family didn't really care for him, and his dumb whore sister did. >_> how could his sister enjoy someone who was so... so.. intolerable? (Gee i wonder? -flicks uumi in the head-)

"And you're a scumbag, Denahi." He snarled out. What kind of son forgets his mother, or bids her farewell from his life? Uumi shook his head. "We're leaving today. I'll bid my mother goodbye another time." He said quietly to Sye. "Or we're atleast getting away from here." He hissed out, moving forward and toward Denahi and his daughter. "I'm surprised my mother accepts you on her lands at all, Little Nahi. I thought she was a better judge of character than that." His tail lashed. Sure he was taller than Denahi now, but in no way stronger.

"Takes one to know one," Real mature there Denahi. The charcoal male's ears flicked upwards, lowering slightly at both Uumi's and Sye's speech. Did others really hate him /that/ much. It was quite obvious so. "Your mother trusts your sister's judgement of me. Besides, what would your mother do after I have three children residing here? Let them continue to live without a father like they have been for the past months since they were born?" He'd let the two lions find out what he meant by that. After all, since his kids were born he rarely could see them. He was a slave for crying out loud!

As Sye began walking off, he looked towards the south where his old homelands were. "For your information," He started quietly, unable to know if the princess of Kusini had heard him or not, "Father AND mother have both seen my kids." He let out a sigh, "And mother didn't want to think they were her grandkids." Well, really Ari was just playing laong with the children, nothing more.

Uumi's ears flicked a little. He certainly could here Denahi. And was secretly glad that Sy's mom didn't want to believe those kids were Denahi's. After a few more minutes of walking Uumi batted a red paw at his son. "What do you say to fire-fly hunting?" He murmered carefully, though feeling a little awkward at making such a request.

It was getting dim though, and he wanted something to do so that Denahi would go away. It was a shame Taabu couldn't've played with his cousin, but assholes will be assholes. Or something like that.

Syeira snorted as she paused, listening to the quiet words that flowed from her brother's lips. Yeah, most of the lions really did hate him that much - and had she known that he was a slave, she probably would have informed him it was nothing less than he deserved. Especially considering that he belonged in such a pride of horrible lions with their anger and their cruelty. He had found a place where he belonged. Though, she didn't know, so she couldn't say. She could only reply to the things Denahi told her. "You weren't there when anybody else needed you, hardly see why you should start caring about it now."

"and I don't see how she could deny those kids are yours," she muttered, "even if I haven't seen the other one - that girl right there looks just like you, she has more rogue blood running through her veins than pridelander," she turned then, walking slowly after her mate. She didn't want to interupt them - she saw Uumi's attempt at bonding (and getting away from Nahi).

Taabu grinned at the thought of going hunting after little bugs with his father, doing a bit of a leap, despite the toll it played on his lungs. He didn't seem to mind the fact that he coulnd't be kind with his cousin - after all, he wasn't really too close with any of his family. He did play with Kenai, but that was because he was generally nice. Not like his Uncle, or the rest of Nahi's mean ol' family.

"Who ever needed me around? From what I saw, you had father, mum had her homeland, Tamu also had father, and vice versa with father as well. What did I have? /Nothing/. I was taken away from a friend who I could've lost forever and what do I get in return for that? Nothing." He growled, forgetting for a moment his daughter sat besides him.

He shrugged, "I wouldn't call her a rogue, or she'll be trying to attack you now." He stated. "She seems to despise the ones who hold no posistion in prides." Which was true. So far, even those of her pride (cubwise) she had nicknamed rogue because of their family bloodlines. Mosi especially she liked to torment.

"Stay." Denahi said after a moment. "You stay, I'll go."
