Cerris still wasn't entirely sure why he was living with Anora and not his parents, but she was really nice! He remembered the person at the Orphanage telling him that something had happened to his parents and that Anora was his new mommy, but his parents would come back someday, right? He was pretty happy about being able to go to the festival, though! He was even dressed in his skeleton costume, ready for all the treats and tricks he would get!
Anora smiled gently as she held onto Cerris' hand. She grabbed a white bucket since they didn't seem to have any light blue ones, and she also managed to nab a lantern as it was turning dark rather quickly. She was a bit surprised that there was already a trick in the bucket! It was a cute little skull candle that she was sure was supposed to be a trick, but she figured they could make great decorations! And even Cerris got one, so they'd make a great matching pair!
Sign went to the next location and wrinkled his nose and mumbled thank you to the grimm who gave him the yucky gum. When he turned to leave he spotted a rock looking at him, well that wasn't normal. He smiled and picked up the strange rock, figuring he would take the pet rock back to his dorm with him. Sign liked the quiet familiar even if some others might think it creepy. Then again some might think Sign was creepy for the way he looked too. So he wouldn't judge the little pet rock either. He really hoped he would get some candy though.
Malloe was glad that their mother had decided to join them for the festival! They weren't sure that she was actually going to make it with how busy she had been. They grabbed a red cauldron bucket that reminded them of their mother and looked in to see a lolli already in it. They also grabbed a lantern since they thought they were kind of cool looking. They were so ready to get lots of treats, but most of all to spend some time with their mother.
Briena was slightly feeling the rush of everything going on lately, but she had promised Malloe she'd spend the festival with them. She had brought her camera (at Malloe's request, she had thought about leaving it so she wouldn't be distracted) so that she could take pictures here and there so they wouldn't forget the night as time went on.
Gwen looked around looking for a game to play or something she wanted. She tapped her her fingers thinking. She turned and spotted a pick the snake game, the toy snakes floated in a pool. Gwen chose one that was marked with a little purple star. She then picked out a bag of skull candies. She smiled slightly as she sat down to eat some of her candy. Gwen sighed as she ate her candy, she had hoped that she would see someone she knew at the festival but it seemed like it wasn't going to happen this hallows eve. Oh well she thought as she ate her candy.
Coralie wanted to refuse the plastic goblet. She really did. But given that it would be rude to do so, she kept her sigh purely internal and did her best to smile winningly. She could always use it as a decoration in the shop or something.
A soft squeak caught her attention as a flitterat managed to jump from the top of the booth to her shoulder.
"I hope you didn't do that because you think this thing is real pumpkin," she murmured.

For a moment, Zahneel remained distracted by the scent that she was certain was Meimu... Still, she managed a smile for Eliza and gallantly held the plushie.
"Then I'll carry it for you. I'll even carry your pet if you need a break and it lets me."
She paused, looking sharply behind her as a flash of silvery grey caught her attention. Eyes narrowing, she felt her lip curl a little as she saw Meimu trailing along behind. Without stopping to think about what anyone else might think, she pointed two claws first at her eyes and then at him before smiling sweetly and drawing her thumb-claw across her throat. With any luck, he'd catch the meaning of 'If you do anything to us, I will rend you limb from limb and wear your face as a mask', and go bother someone else.
Then, ELiza's offering of the glowing necklace interrupted her threats and a sincere smile lit up her face as she took the necklace and looped it around her throat. Then, greatly daring, she leaned over and quickly brushed her lips against Eliza's forehead.
"I'd be happy and honored to. Thank you, Eliza."
She never even heard the chocolate bar clatter into her pail.
Hamish couldn't help it, he had to laugh a little at the fennekit's antics. It certainly seemed to like Atlas a lot and he couldn't blame it for that. Still...
"I'm honestly not sure if it would hurt the little guy or not. Maybe just let it try a teensy tiny bit?"
He heard something clatter into his pail and glanced over, seeing a pretty little sugar skull. And much as he liked it, he was in full OH GODS A GIRL mode and scooped it out, offering it to Atlas.
"Here, you should have this. It's too nice for me."

After a nice, long break, Nepheline felt refreshed and went back to the games with a will. Only to have that will quickly crushed by the gift of a handful of old, stale taffies. Sighing in disappointment, she wandered off and wondered if she should try another game to see if she had better luck there.
Instead, she yelped softly as something flew into her tail and briefly tangled there. Reaching back, she felt a small, warm body and gently pulled it from her hair.
"Hey there, little dude," she murmured. "There're easier and better ways if introducing yourself, you know."
"Oh, he's so cute," Lolo squealed before holding up her own rat and letting the two sniff noses. "Do you think they're hungry? Should we go find candy for them?"

Proserpina had stopped smiling at about the same moment she'd been handed a rock that projected sadness. Who on earth had thought that would be a good idea for a holiday centered around fun and candy? Sheer madness.
She dropped the thing absently into her pail and jumped a little as a wisp floated up and began to hover around the pail, obviously interested in the colorful, yet depressing rock.

Eyes twinkling, Rhulain gave a gentle nod.
"I would love to."
Once they were both comfortably seated, she held the cotton candy towards him.
"You get first taste."
Fidgeting slightly to get a little more comfortable, she leaned ever so slightly into Jessie, her face as pleased as the proverbial cat who'd caught a canary. So it came as something of a shock to feel a passerby press a pretty little beaded bracelet into her empty hand.
Aedus growled as he stepped up to the knock down the bottles booth, he was determined to mine today. He was in a take no prisoners mood. Anyone getting in his way today was going to get growled at. This had to be his day to win or else. Aedus lined up his shot and threw the ball. Aedus wanted to scream more candy and a plushie seriously. Gah what was he going to do with all this stuff?? Aedus grumbled as he picked out a bag of candy corn and an orange plushie. Aedus was amassing quite the collection.
Odessa gave a small smile, sometimes wishing she played some sort of instrument so that she could be in the band, but she knew she wasn't too musically inclined. Sometimes she was jealous of his band members getting to spend so much time with him, but on the other end, she knew that there needed to be things that the two of them did separately. "I'm up for some games." She nodded and then noticed her pail was a little heavier with a strange skull candle she hadn't noticed before.
Kara smiled, hoping she didn't scare Somansh too much. She seemed nice and Kara would like to be friends with her, but she seemed even more reserved than Yihad had been. "Games would be fun." She replied, nodding toward Somansh.
