7: The room begins to grow around you… that or you begin to shrink! An ant marches across the carpet towards you, roughly the size of a horse and just as menacing.

This room was so jarring compared to the rest of the house. It was clean for one, and the furniture neatly arranged. Nothing on the floor, nothing tucked in corners. No ghosts or ghouls lingering around. It was as if she'd stepped into another dimension. Everything was so big though and it was almost as if every time she turned around it was growing.

It wasn't until an ant was furiously charging at her that it occurred to her that she might be shrinking. Squeezing her new vespercat hard enough to get it to squeak, she turned and fled for the door.

1: Key

Moving further into the room seemed to be the key to breaking whatever illusion held sway over her. Darian heaved a sigh of relief once she seemed to be back to normal. Looking around a bit, the glint of a key caught her eye. Without a thought she picked it up and tucked it in her pocket. It might come in handy later.
