General Prehnite
HP: 76
Damage To Source: 10 + 9 = 19
Doing: Questioning his life choices, maybe he should've been a stone mason instead?

Prehnite heard Xylas desperate cry, caught sight of his team -- soaked to the bone and splashed black with bruise and decaying monster alike; then the lights came on. Nightmares were supposed to be worse in the dark, but now? In the pitch of flickering fluorescent's, this one seemed far far worse to deal with. He would've rather not seen what he was stabbing at this point, it's writing mass and echoing hubris..

"Leave if you need to Xyla my dear to, but I am not handing what's ours over wholesale to *this*!" they couldn't abandone hope so quickly!

At the same time -- he was beginning to question his sanity for going at this without thought -- he should've talked with his girls beforehand, he should've told them about the blight he'd been crossing in his gardens weeks ago!

It was going to be fine, it had to be, he wouldn't allow it to kill his team so easily!!

Doing: Fine, everything's fine, nothing is not fine!!

Dia heard his team, and did the only thing he knew best, shut his yap and stayed close enough to not get slaughtered -- even as the pull of fresh attacks shunted him aside. He was ever grateful for Rak's guidance saving him from the brunt of it all -- being dragged close -- he owed the man a weeks worth of thank you cards!

Damage to the Source: 10 + 3 = 13
Doing: Feeling like a basic b***h, and hating it!

Faustites voice was a distant din, he was sure he heard the words, things shouted back and forth between his pair of boys. "I'd like that napalm please! ********, we ditch this place n play scorched earth with the battlefield...maybe throw in enough canisters of gasoline and let it suck on that since it's so ******** hungry!" spat tar like curses and when he reached for magic that should've come easy as breathing, found it lacking, missing, angered enough that he hefted a chunk of dislodged debris and chucked it the creatures way in sheer frustration.

Doing: Seething at the illuminated demon, because he liked his magic, god-frking-damnit!

"The ******** do these things not just die!" And Cryolite nearly vomited contents his stomach lacked as the glare of overheads blared on, and revealed what they'd been fighting through; why was everything that wanted to eat them so ******** nasty!? Mabye if he weren't slipping in it till he nearly tripped as it soaked what little in the way of energy he had to himself...

"I'll relay all your kindness to him in promotion worthy detail...over wine..." Cryolite wondered, vaguely, if he went down, would the other senshi'd pick him up? It was certainly a thing to hope for!

The subway station was a mess of milling bodys and slashes of dark icor over every surface, everything thrown into harsh relief by the over head lights. They shone almost wetly off the forms of the Blight as they attacked their targets, were smashed and scattered, and just gathered together to attack again. It was light fighting back ocean waves… They broke apart easily enough under your fists, but there were always more to replace them.

Behind those waves of copy-cat-faced monsters, the Source watched with dark, empty eyes and a malevolent grin, a hunger in it’s face for the end to its tormentors. The renewal of its resources brought the full attention of the gathered forces, and they hounded it with attacks; light flashed, searing into it, ice crept along the edges of it, countless fits and feet pounded into its soft, rubbery exterior till the whole of it shook and thrashed in pain… but still that smile lingered, even as it lashed out at those around it to chase them off. It had taken damage, but though it had lost some of its definition, it was still standing, still directing its many smaller parts.

You’re flagging… I can see it. One by one, you’ll fall.

A hundred mouths hissed the words as Varda fell and others began to fail, their energy and magic exhausted.

-------

Ida offered Fang a smile, though there was little joy in it and far more quiet, exhausted determination. She’d killed his monsters, and rather than sit back and let her protect him, he went on the offensive, putting all of himself into his attacks. She could appreciate that, even as part of her wanted to make him leave, somehow, or at least stay where he would be protected. It was the same feeling she had for Tachibana, and the chibi who’s name she didn’t know, the one she’d sent Liryn and Athene after. She always wanted to protect her fellows, especially those still so new to all of this, but she knew, from experience, that everyone was needed in this fight. It was their right to decide whether to stay back, and safe, or to help and lend their strength. It was the same thing she’d faced the time she’d seen Florentina awakened, all those years ago.

She threw an arm up over her eyes again as Hyperborea let off another blast of magic, staggering the Source, and took the chance to look around at the others. So many tired faced, both white moon and not, and so many that were worse for wear. The Source was damaged, but how much longer could they keep this all up? They needed more help… and she desperately wished she could do something. There were so many of them, and so many more of the enemy, and she was just one person… The chibi’s in the group were looking particularly rough, but so was Liryn over there, and others besides. Should she ask them to retreat? Let the rest of them handle it? Would they even go? Even Murikabushi seemed to feel the same need to help as he went racing off after Fang… he’d been so upset over how his magic had affected Kerberos, and so many others had shown so much concern for the spreading damage of the Blight… and they’d all come here because she’d called.

She had a responsibility to them. They had to find a way to end this… She had to do something. Ida had been so… despondent since Hver had left, had felt so alone while Athene had been overseas. She’d found it so hard, in the midst of her melancholy, to remember why she was fighting so hard. Why she didn’t just patrol her small neighborhood and call it good. This was why. She felt that old swelling of duty again, that need to protect. She had to do something!

The surge of energy started somewhere deep, down where that ephemeral cord linked her to her planet. She always felt the energy flowing to her from her source, but like the day she’d transcended, it came suddenly in a rush. A great flood from her planet as it responded to her need, to her silent call. It carried her to her feet as glowing shapes, like falling petals, formed and drifted around her. They swept towards her and caught, forming together into something that wasn’t the same fuku that had always formed. Long draping cloth, the smell of flowers suddenly spreading in every directions, and the rustle of feathers…

Standing transformed, her feet bare on the cold, black-streaked tile, Ida lifted her hands and cupped them, a light forming there and coalescing into a crystal shape. It was so familiar, this feeling… vague memories that had faded over the years till they felt like dreams. It didn’t feel real now… but the power was still surging inside of her and Ida needed to let it out. Lifting that floating crystal flower up, she let the magic go and suddenly gentle purple light filled the decrepit subway. More petals began to fall, little glowing lights from the ceiling, to touch everyone still here, still fighting. The smell of flowers was strong, making the dark monsters hesitate, and everyone touched felt some of the energy Ida wielded flowing into them. Replenishing them. Restoring the magic and strength that had been stolen.

“Hit it now!” She called out as she dropped her arms, golden jewelry chiming around her wrists. The crystal vanished and she swept up a hand to call her eternal magic's bow, drawing back the string till the glowing arrow formed in her hands, the tip a flower petal. “We can take it now!”

One more good push… one more all-in effort… and they could do this. Ida released her arrow and it roared over the heads of those around her, exploding as it impacted the Source and shook it.

-------

The Source snarled as it felt the flare of power, its attention turning away from the rest of its opponents to stare at the glowing figure in the middle of them.

Your energy… so much, so familiar. You will feed us!

Many voices snarled as it reached out, fingers curved in claws.

—--

The last round is upon us!

Everyone has one use of their highest level magic restored, one of their concentrated attacks, or a third of their magic pool. Enough for one last good push against this monster. Ida’s energy is giving everyone a boost, even anyone who’s been knocked out.

Everyone can attack as many times as they like this round! Make a new post for each roll, please, so I can tally the points!

Any unkilled Blight this round do 6 damage each, and are replaced as usual. The Source is distracted though, so no one takes any extra damage from it.

Transcended Knight Delphi of Polaris
HP: 82/100
Damage/Healing/Buff to Target Name: Sheild magic so no rolling. Anything new will deal with her sheild.

Nodding her head once to Hyperborea, acknowledging the others thank you, she was glad to provide help. As her eyes snapped shut, at Hyperborea's command, her focus dropped just enough to let her sheild down. It might have been a good thing - maybe not. But it was down for the moment. She was too busy closing her eyes, and covering them even, to focus on her magic.

When she did put her hands down she held onto her scepter again, having to resummon it into her hands. Held tight and in front of herself, as if the scepter itself were a shield the knight focused on her own magic and pulled her sheild right back up in order to keep herself and Hyperborea safe once again. "I don't know what you did before...but whatever it was - good." She didn't kjnow how Hyperborea suddenly had gained seemingly more strength, or where from, but the Polaris knight wasn't about to care either. Whatever it took to handle this monster. "I'll hold the sheild. I got this." She might not have magic which could inflict damage but she had her own brand of magic and she would do her part - she wasn't about to break to this monster.

Closing her eyes, again, she held her focus the best she could this time. She didn't lower weapon or banish it...she didn't cover her eyes with her hands. She kept her eyes as tightly shut as possible so Hyperborea's attack didn't blind her. She had to hold her sheild for the other and keep them both safe. She would not fail in this.

What Delphi wasn't expecting was the sudden appearence, or rather upgrade, of a royal sensh iand feeling her magic that had been draining slowly be returned. It was a rush of magic reentering the knight and she pushed it towards her sheild. "Now Hyperborea! I'll hold the sheild!" Shouting to the knight behind her, kept safe by her own mgaic. The marking son her own skin glowing like she'd been kissed by winter itself, fitting given her civilian name really. "It needs to die! End this!" Shouting for anyone to hear her, as if she cared what anyone else might think of her harsh words. She was not one to care for chaos of any sort and this thing - this blight - it needed to be ended now.

She hadn't noticed the monsters behind her, creeping up on her side, until they'd attacked her and than she felt it and she stumbled and fell. Bloodied hands, a scepter scattered across the floor and a sheild down. Her knees were scraped heaving, she could feel the tears in her pants, and likely bruised. She made her way towards her scepter and climbed to her feet, gritting her teeth as she did so. Moving back towards Hyperborea, the monsters which had attacked her ignored in favor of the more important fight...the more important duty. She could take a few hits if it meant keeping Hyperrborea safe so she could deal the damage.

I Think this works well. ^_^

]Magic:
The scepter is used as if to block an attack, held up in front of Delphi, where it will be used to form a magnetic field to hold back those with chaos infected starseed (due to the magical properties in those starseeds infected by chaos). The shield itself is only in front of Delphi, and anyone behind her, and over the top of herself. It's curved upward, like an unfinished bubble/dome. So it leaves the back open to attack. Once the scepter is lowered Delphi's spell has ended. Thankfully the shield does protect Delphi, or she'd be a sitting duck when using her magic, moving while using her magic is a big no-no. It will lower her shield so she must remain in place while her magic is active. Perhaps the good thing is that she doesn't have to use all her magic at once, and can use her magic multiple times in a battle, just as long as it equals out to the time she'd be allotted anyway.

Knight: At this point in the game Delphi can actually repel an agent of chaos, rather than just keep them at bay, it still only works on those her rank or lower. The shield now will bounce an agent of chaos away, giving anyone she is protecting time to regroup and so anyone with her can attack an agent of chaos, since they've been bounced back and away. The duration of time is slightly more than the last attack, now 40 seconds, the radius however has remained the same five feet.[/quote]

Heliodor, Corrupt Super Senshi of Ryutan
HP:23/75
Damage to Source: 14 Damage

Where the hell was Faustite expecting him to find any sort of useful flammable substance in an abandoned station? “Right, I’ll get right on that.” He huffed out tiredly. Much like his companions, he was looking worse for wear but thankfully still on his feet. Some, it seemed, were not faring near as well, and that was saying something.

Albite was….well…Albite. The man looked exhausted but also unwilling to give up as he hauled rubble and utilized it in the most basic of ways. It worked. The thought of chucking rocks and whatever else they could find at this thing was both numerous and disheartening. But what else were they going to do. Helio had reached for his own magic and found nothing there. Nothing where there should have been something.

Suddenly something shifted. An aura changed, grew and blossomed into something both powerful and sickeningly good “Well ********.” He growled out as the sweet smell of flowers filled the station space. Not only were they dealing with this horrid, world-draining creature, but now a princess.

Actually, this could work out. He glanced over at Faustite. “If we play this right we can deal with his ugly b*****d and avoid a confrontation with the White Moon.” He said as the royal began working her magic and inciting others to assist. Beyond fleeing the battle now, they were best off assisting. Show a moment of ‘good will’ per say. “A, the enemy of my enemy is my friend situation.”

Reaching for magic that he had felt return, Heliodor lashed out again with his magic, this time focusing on the source.

Was Anakeion exhausted, and bloody, and covered in god-knew-what, and were her fingers starting to cramp? God, yeah, all of those things were true.

Corrupt Sailor Hylonome of Edelweiss
HP: 34/50 HP
Going after Blights: 5 + 9 = 14 dmg to blights (one blight left with 1/5hp)

Even as things began to shift around her once more to form three new blights did Hylonome find what it was that she wanted the most and she murmured softly, more to herself than anything, "I wish that I could do more to help my friends." She wasn't expecting anything to happen but the white color of the star suddenly shifted to that of a blue hue before dissolving and Hylonome gave her now empty hands a puzzled look before feeling a small surge of energy pulse through her tired and battered body. It almost felt like the whatever had hit her before had been reversed. What had been taken, had been restored and she glanced around for the one who had shouted before getting to her feet. She glanced down at Xyla's exhausted form before gently stepping aside to get a good look at the blights that had returned to torment those attacking.

Even as she lashed out with renewed vigour did another immense light fill the air and Hylonome flinched as a result at the surge of an order aura became almost too intense to deal with. Even as those fighting seemed to get a second wind Hylonome trembled a little before continuing to beat back her trio of blights. This was definitely a new development in the battle and even if it was because of order did the corrupt seem to think that maybe everyone could stand a fighting chance to beat back the source.

Lacerta, Eternal DMS of Bandages
HP: 60/100
Damage to Blights: 10 + 3 = 13dmg one blight left at 2/5hp

The fact that the main figure in the middle of the goopy soup that was the blight's source felt secure enough to continue to taunt those that opposed it's presence was worrisome. But the words sadly rang true - if the source was able to continue to regenerate and heal all of the damage it had taken, in what place would that leave the attackers. Lacerta's gaze darted to a few of those in the melee that shared the energy of the Dark Mirror court before she considered options. If things didn't improve would she, being of an eternal rank, be responsible for making sure that they got out safely. Would she be expected to cover their retreat if such a measure was needed. Would Remarque & Acubens want her to put her own neck on the line in order to make sure that not a single court member was lost? Would these questions have to be answered sooner rather than later?

Almost as if mentally preparing herself did Lacerta move closer to those in her faction before being stopped by the explosive surge in power from one order-aligned senshi. What was going on here?

Feeling the aura flare did Lacerta pause before quickly destroying two of the blights that had reformed to attack her as she stared at the sight of the lovely petals that fell around those fighting and the source of said power. Had she ever experienced something like this before? This level of energy felt on par to what Remarque felt like when he was in his prince form so did that make the owner of this powerful aura a princess? Lacerta's gaze narrowed before she made of note of the situation. The source of the blight seemed almost distracted with the reveal and maybe that would end up being a good thing.

"Ah."

Seriously?

The push of power he felt from the now-princess Ida standing near the source was immense enough to be grating, pushing his opinions of the whole war on either side to the side. On one hand, this would make it easier to attack and get the hell out of there. She was strong. She knew what she was doing. She had evidently returned some of his magic to him, and he felt ready to take another shot at the dripping tendriled monstrosity in the center.

So he did.

But he followed it up with, "So I guess she's a whole princess now. Don't think the bosses are gonna be too thrilled."

General Faustite
HP: 74/100
Damage to Source: 10 + 13 + 1 = 24 to the Source... With some to spare for Ida, possibly

"What the <********>," the burning General spat cinder when he felt an aura act up in their midst. That Eternal from before — she grew ******** wings. Pulled some skimpy-a** dress and a crystal out of nowhere and now she was playing savior to all of them. Look at her goodwill. Look at how she was saving the day.

Shouldn't they all be so grateful.

Faustite seethed. Flame leapt from him in a furious frenzy, daring to leak smoke out his nose with every breath. The fact that Heliodor pitched a temporary alliance instead of doing what he was told earned him a shove as Faustite started to cut across the battlefield. Faustite grit his teeth in a snarl, each tooth limned scathing orange from the flame caught behind them. For the moment, it didn't matter that they faced this gigantic creature that festered from beyond the stars. Didn't matter that they were fighting for their lives. He didn't care if they all died badly, so long as he put this bold little Princess in her place.

A temporary alliance. Fine. Heliodor could pretend that he stood alongside his old White Moon allies again. Albite could play star sisters with their lot.

Fine. The two could say they convinced Faustite to play nice with their ilk.

But Faustite was going to stand just close enough to this Princess that she was getting caught in his crossfire if she wasn't careful. He hoped, dearly, that it charred those disgusting transcendence marks straight off her skin. Hoped that it took her skin with it.

Heat warped the air around him, superheating the ground, before fire burst outward from his core.

Super Niter
HP: 25/75
Damage to Blights: Blights vanished via the use of his magic!

Niter stared, dumbstruck. He used his magic on her, but -- he hadn't expected that. Did he have something to do with that? Was she a princess the whole time and he didn't know it?

Niter reminded himself to calm down; he wasn't that important in the scheme of things. And there was no way his magic was elevating people to princess mode.

His alarm worsened again with the petals that fell from the sky, and the refreshing feeling that came with it; he could connect that it was from her, the princess, but he didn't know why she'd be gifting a Negaverse senshi like him more energy. He'd take it as some kind of temporary alliance, though.

It was enough to let him vanish the blights around him with another cast of his magic. That felt good. That was a small confidence boost in this whole world of s**t they were standing in.

Healing to Abeosamu: 10 + 5 = 15

“Make a wish?”

Erytheia was confused at first. What had the Dark Mirror senshi meant? A white star fell into his hands. Was this some form of magic? While the star-shape reminded him of Cosmos, it was definitely some sort of senshi magic.

At first he thought of all the things one could wish for — seeing Tama again, for example. But that didn’t stop the situation they were currently in. What he needed was the ability to heal again and that was drained.

Just as he thought that, the star turned blue and he felt a sudden surge in his enegry.

He clapped his hands together and out flowed healing magic to both the chibi senshi and Liryn.

“I’m going to go fight the Source!”

He smiled knowing that he had enough magic now to help.

Erytheia ran to the Source, throwing years worth of caution to the wind. He would help take this thing down. He shielded his eyes from Hyperborea’s attack. Then he shot an ethereal arrow from his bow right after it.

And Ida was in the middle of it all. But she looked different. He couldn’t place it at first. The petals. The light. The feathered wings.

“Ida!” He shouted to her as he joined the main fight again, but it didn’t look like the senshi of Orchids needed his help.

Erytheia felt the aura now as his amber eyes hit the Sailor Crystal she held.

Is that what I think it is?

Doing: The Cat's owed an Apology, time to go girls!

It was a rare sight to witness the birth of a Princess, rare and terrifying, the way the Aura reminded him of Gany's -- except for all the ways it lacked in familiarity. He wondered, what it was that made them glow so brightly? What cosmos granted boon they earned unlike Metalias roughly given gifts...

Surely it was something to write reports on. A task which could only be completed if they survived, and as another wave hit, and the monster boomed mockingly. Prehnite realized he was being a poor General indeed, so consumed with the concept of vengeance that he'd forgotten his team was mostly comprized of basics. Despite their experience, their abilities had limits -- as did his own -- fast realization for how each new wave sapped him of strength.

"Darlings, whatever magic you have -- spend it -- we're leaving," as he watched them reach for their reserves, and Xyla, precious blue main falter in step, the way they rallied around her at their last. Prehnite threw what he had, and stepped back -- turning to reach for Xylas fallen form and snatch her up while calling the others in reach -- it was very much past time to go.

"Ohmygod, it's a glowy bird!" Albite thought he must've been seeing things, or maybe he was just concussed cause he'd sworn, a minute ago, there wasn't a princess there, n now? Now there totally was!! All haloed n pretty andddd...."Wait, ********, no, a princess?! Did the ooze birth a princess!!"

"Faustite---Firebrand...we should take her home after this. Think if we ask nice she'll come?" it was a whole, terrible, halfassed idea, but Albite knew he had magic to spare -- dwindling as it was -- the way he saved his biggest bangs for last, how three of twelve on his hands meant more than enough to have a proper fight...

If..if they survived, and if Helio didn't go down for how rough he looked covered head to toe in inky ilk...It was a very big IF, but he thought Jet might've liked a nice surprise.

"Not that we have to ask nice. There's lots of ways to send an invitation."

Basic Corrupt Cryolite
HP: 4 !!!
Damage to the Source: 5 + 8 = 13
Doing: Wooowww...aprincess...Greattt...I'd please like not to die though?

"Wonderful, let her and her people have at it, and get us the ******** out of here!" there was no ice left to shed, what little he'd done was his last; the well was dry, his magic was sapped along with the barest threads of remaining energy. Cryolite sat knelt in a growing pool of clawing ink that was beginning to dizzily swirl -- maybe not even because the monster was moving it's creations, but because Cryolite's world view was tilting from dizzy into *down* -- and as he looked up at fulgurite and reached with splayed claws for the feet long hair n billowing blue wraps----

He realized if he didn't get gone now, he wasn't getting back up at all.

"Fulgurite, if I have to say please...."

Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos
HP: 61/100 (-1 to all damage taken, Article of Resilience)
Damage to The Source (attacking twice): 10 + 10 + 1 (Article of Strength) = 21 damage to the Source

"By all the stars that shine in the sky!" Hyperborea covered her mouth as a shocked gasp escaped the Knights lips. She had to blink back tears of joys as she watched the proverbial coronation of one of her oldest friends and one the few that was still around. So many others had disappeared; Hvergelmir, Babylon, Thraen, and so many others had come and gone over the years yet here was Ida, one of the first Senshi she had ever met, not only still fighting but more powerful and more radiant than ever before.

Hyperborea wasn't entirely sure what Ida had done but she felt a bit of her magical reserves fill back up. She had the power to bring her magic to bear against the monster again. "Little trick I found in the vaults of Hyperborea." She answered Delphi. "Now a Princess graces the field we can't lose!" She said invigorated with the will to fight as she felt Ida's regal pure aura wash over her.

She grinned as Delphi cast her magic. "Once more!" She yelled as she raise her glowing star topped staff into the air bring the bright silver light down on the creature.

Knight Spell
She holds up her staff as the head glows silver. It creates a bright explosion of silver starlight with Hyperborea at the center. It blinds and disorientates everyone else caught in the blast with their eyes open. It causes a great burning pain in her enemies and can at player discretion leave a sunburn like wound on people.
Channeling time: 60 secs. (all uses expended, 5 seconds left in her magic pool)
AOE: 10 ft
